If you look closely, the "logo only" holograms have a "19" & "92" on either side of the diamond logo, while the "logo with text" variant has a "19" & "93" on the diamond logo.

The Upper Deck "Logo" hologram was used on the backs of cards 1-440, as well as inserts, issued in Low (1st) Series packs. An Upper Deck "Small UD Text and Logo" hologram" was used on the backs of all cards issued in packs of the (2nd) "High" Series. These packs included cards 441-600, as well as cards 1-440. As a result, cards 1-440 can be found with either an "UD Logo" or "Small UD Text and Logo" hologram.

I take back my earlier comment about this set having a "text" set. after time of sorting these cards the holograms are both text and logo depending on the tilt of the card. so I looked back at the 91-92 set and found a few that looked to be both but the text part was more dominate. there is a possibility of the 91-92 set being a attempt at both but failing one way or the other. let me know what you think

after seeing that there was a "text" set for the 91-92 set I looked at the 92-93 cards I had and see that there is a "text" set for it also. can anyone else confirm that they have these cards also. then see about adding it to the data base thank you

I like how they handled the Award Winners - action shot on the front and tux shot on the back.

The 1992-93 Upper Deck hockey set contains 640 standard-size cards. The set was released in two series of 440 and 200 cards, respectively. Action photos on the fronts are bordered by the player's name and team logo at the bottom. Special subsets featured include Team Checklists (1-24), Bloodlines (35-39), '92 World Juniors (222-236), Russian Stars from Moscow Dynamo (333-353), Rookie Report (354-368), '92 World Championships (369-386), Team USA (392-397), Star Rookies (398-422), and Award Winners (431-440). Pavel Bure is showcased on a special card (SP2) that was randomly inserted in first series foil and jumbo packs. Another special card (SP3) titled "World Champions", honors Canada's 1993 IIHF World Junior Champions team. High series subsets featured are Lethal Lines (453-456), Young Guns (554-583), and World Junior Champions (584-619). The World Junior Champions subset is grouped according to national teams as follows: Canada (585-594), Sweden (595-599), Czechoslovakia (600-604), USA (605-609), Russia (610-614), and Finland (615-619). An Upper Deck Profiles (620-640) subset closes out the set. Card No. 88, Eric Lindros, was short-printed (SP) as it was not included in second series packaging. This was brought about because of a controversy over Lindros' head being superimposed on a teammate's body.
