1991-92 Upper Deck
User Comments |
The Upper Deck "Text" hologram was used on the backs of cards 1-500, as well as inserts, issued in Low Series packs. The Upper Deck "Logo" holograms were used on the backs of all cards issued in packs of the "High" Series. This included cards 501-700, as well as cards 1-500. As a result, cards 1-500 can be found with either a "Text" or "Logo" hologram. Euro-Stars were issued in both Low and High series Jumbo packs, so cards exist with either hologram.

Does anyone have any information on why there were 2 hologram variants (logo and text) on the back of these cards? Is one more rare? Was it limited to a specific series or do both and all inserts have both hologram variants? Thanks
I looked back at the 91-92 set and found a few that looked to be both but the text part was more dominate. there is a possibility of the 91-92 set being a attempt at both but failing one way or the other. I have found that the 92-93 set is both with the right tilt. let me know what you think
