This was the very first complete set of baseball cards I ever collected, I was about 9 years of age. Being based in the UK we were just about getting into baseball by those stage but had had generations of kids collecting football/soccer stickers and cards religiously so it wasn’t all that big a jump to make, and why it is perfect sense Topps licensed these odd sized cards to test the market, they were trying to appeal to football collectors in the UK.
