I'm surprised no one mentioned the fact this was the first Topps Football set to have that year's rookies included

I just bought a factory-sealed set of these, and oddly half of the set are Disclaimer Back, half are standard back. I'm wondering how Topps decided to pack those.

I put a lot of time in voting on these cards. The more I voted, the more I liked the set.

This set was around the time I started collected and I loved this set. Nothing flashy but for 1990 this was a nice little design. There is a football on the front so there is no confusion what sport this card represents. Yard lines on the top and bottom and boarders around the picture with the teams team colors gives the cards a soft feel. The back of the cards have "X's" and "O's" at the top and bottom of the card to represent the markings of a playbook. The back also has great player info (DOB, birth place, College, height-weight). Some players feature stats with a short description of the players previous season(s) while other players card backs feature only a desceiption of the previous season(s). Topps did a great job with this card to kick off the 90's. Thanks for the great memories.
