I absolutely dig this set. having just gotten back into collecting after a decade off, this set hits just the right spots for me. A fun throwback to the cards of yesteryear with the high quality of a modern baseball card set. Not only that but it's awesome getting you hands on classic players such a Ruth, Ryan and Schmidt for instance and their card looking fantastic.

mind you, this is in reference to the 70 Years of Top set, as opposed to the base set. It's a decent set in it's own right.

This set looks really good displayed in a binder. I like the way the hash marks line up with each other across a three card-row.

Yesterday I gave my LCS owner a call to see if the Topps 70Yrs series 2 came in and it had I bought 2 boxes because his product was limited starting to move but it will be months before Topps product moves freely. I am still missing cards but at least I can build my binder what I have for it to show it on my YouTube channel that hasn't had any new content since my last posting.

Today, went to my LCS and picked up my one box of Topps 2021 70th year and Topps has not disappointed me yet. The last few years I see more damaged cards not different with this 2021 Topps release. 24 packs in my hobby box and i pulled random base damaged card all on the edges top and bottoms looks like someone used a pliers on the cards but I know this must happened at the factory from those rollers coming off the line still; there quality insurance is poor if Topps thinks this is acceptable at $120 a box coming to $5.00 bucks a pack is mistaken.
