- Upper Deck released this set in February 2010 despite MLB Properties naming Topps the exclusive trading card licensee in August 2009. Team names were replaced with city names, and team logos are somewhat concealed on most cards, but it wasn't enough to prevent Upper Deck from being sued by MLBP and Topps for copyright infringement. As part of the settlement, Upper Deck canceled plans to release a 50-card series 2.
