• The Team Stickers for this set are Identical to to the 1983 stickers. They have the same variations and the same fronts as 1983. The only difference is the back contains either the 1982 or 1983 Team Schedule. Since there is no copyright date on the stickers; the only way to tell them apart is by the year of the schedule on the back.
• The team stickers in 1982 started a four year run (1982-1985) that includes the same variations for each year. The variations found in all four years are: Bengals Line/No Line through facemask screw, Colts Large Font/Small Font, Packers outline/no outline around earhole, Giants TM Present/Not Present & Seahawks Light Gray/Dark Gray Helmet. The Colts Large Font/Small font variation would continue through 1988, when Fleer discontinued the "Team Action" cards.
• Starting in 1982, the Team Stickers featured 48 total stickers, down from 56 (or more) from previous years 1976-1981. The number of stickers would remain at 48 for the rest of the Fleer Team Action run, up through 1988. Instead of having a helmet sticker and a secondary sticker (logo) for each team, Fleer eliminated a logo or secondary sticker (and just issued a helmet sticker) for the following 8 teams:
  Browns, Bengals, Colts, Packers, Giants, Jets, Chargers & Seahawks. These 8 teams would only have a helmet sticker from 1982-1988.
