1990 Checkered Flag Printer Test

- Doug Chappell, President of Checkered Flag and Racing Legends, wrote an article about his companies' prototype drag cards that was published in Issue #2 of Quarter Milestones. In that article, he said of these cards:
"Between the 1989 and 1990 runs, we again did a printer check, this time with four cards. Each featured a different border and again they were not prototypes and were not released into general circulation. Very few left our facilities. The cards were Pat Musi, Bob VanSciver, John Nobile and Chuck Cheeseman. We printed about 2000. Again, these were unreleased and we also did about 100 with sticker backs."
As with the 1989 card, 'unreleased' appears to mean that the cards were not offered for sale. It seems that some quantity were given to each driver to give to their fans.
