• This is 3rd or 4th revision of animal cards, and this set from the 1980s again used the artwork and replaced previously used live footage of animals. This was the last set where cards had to be glued manually to album, the next set from 1990s used the same artwork but cards became stickers and also, they weren't peeled and stuck as a whole in the album but had the number in the border highlighted in a triangle so only that part was peeled of and put in the album.
  
  Unlike original cards used for the first couple of decades in 1950s and 1960s, this set used much simpler artwork and often didn't use color across the entire card, but background was just used in a smaller shape to emphasize the animal more. As before, mixing different sets in the album and sending it to Kraš company for a huge box of sweets and chocolates in exchange was always acceptable since all cards (and later stickers) use same numbers.
  
  Originally, the first batch had only animal art and card number on the front, but in years to come cards often had month and year printed on the front as well so you can tell if the image you have was printed in May 1988 or September 1989 for example. Otherwise, they weren't changed.
