Stopped building sets in 09 and now have stopped chasing SFGiants/49ers in 2019. But still have lots of wants. Due to a generous divorce court had to return to work, so trading is still important to me but now pulling and mailing can only be done on fridays and saturdays.

trading only, not selling.  minimum trade 4-6 cards to make the postage worthwhile

USA only for bubble mailer trades / USA + Canada only for PWE trades

master set building [see below] and a few player collections [see below] and

building a variety of base sets, parallel sets and insert sets from other years & brands

trying to improve my organization, it's a struggle

9/10/21 - I'm not really a vintage collector, and have no 50's-60's, yet I do have a lot of  vintage adjacent 70's - early 80's-late 80's junk wax -early 90's in good condition.  I'm slowly adding them here. When I first addd 88 Topps, I started getting overwhelmed by trade matching with members who are not active on the site, or vintage only collectors, and no chance of a trade match.  I had to dial it back.  I have entered almost all of my above referenced material as PC.  If you are a vintage collector of this era, and see that I have multiple copies of a card, and you want/ need it, I will be happy to trade the extra you.  every card of this era, regardless of BV, has a minimum value of 50 cents to me.  please don't ask for a single card, request a 1 for 1 trade, and tell me that the card you want is worth a nickle, and you are offering a card worth 5 cents in return.

edit 11/29/20 - If you want something from me, but can't find cards to trade, that hit my want list, I will  be happy to try to work something out with Mike Trout, Albert Pujols, Adrian Beltre, Christian Yelich, Mookie Betts & Mark McGwire

TCDb ranking - players

Shawn Green #1 - [half of which are MEM & AU]

Mark McGwire #15 - and climbing slowly

Albert Pujols #16 - and climbing slowly

Adrian Beltre - #7 and climbing

Sets - I believe I am #1 in the following "master set" building [including all auto, relic, insert & parallel sets]

2012 Topps baseball

2012 Topps Chrome baseball

2012 Topps On line exclusive mini baseball

2012 Prizm baseball

2001 Fleer Platinum

2001 Fleer Futures

Trade Policy

  • Trading is fun! Let's keep it that way :)
  • S&H: I top load every card in a PWE transaction, so I limit PWEs to what can fit in four 60pt top loaders, usually 4-8 cards depending on paper vs chrome. Anything else goes into a BMWT, either top loaded or in a team bag surrounded by top loaders. Better to be safe than sorry.
  • Transactions: If you'd like to work out the details of a deal over messages, that's fine. Once we get the details ironed out, the transaction should go through the normal transaction flow on this site.
  • Proposals: I do my best to respond to proposals right away, but this is a hobby, not my job so it may take me a few days.
  • Sales: I strongly prefer trades to sales. I will only conduct sales with PP G&S.
  • International: I'll consider International transactions that are worth the additional cost of S&H only.

***I have been away for several weeks due to surgery, a move, work and other things. I am trying to go through my inbox beginning tonight (9/20). Trading will still be off for a while.***

I strive for a 100% positive rating. I believe being a good trading partner is the right thing to do, and it means I have credibility to continue making deals. If we trade and something is wrong, please let me know so I can fix it.

I will try to give you as much information as possible on the cards you would receive. I'll send photos and explain issues. I have been updating conditions on my cards for trade.

I grade conservatively. An EX-MT card to me might be NM to you, so just ask for details.

Please don't send me cards with soft or dinged corners. Just let me know before and we can try to find substitutes to complete the deal.

I always mail from the post office. This is partly because I don't have outgoing mail in my apartment building, but also so I get the right postage on your package.

I try to be thorough when I respond to messages for trades in progress, but I am often lousy at responding to new proposals. If nothing grabs me immediately, I sit on them and time passes. Sorry to anyone I have left hanging, and I will try to improve.

Every size trade is welcome. 1 for 1, a bunch of bases for a SN, whatever - as long as we both feel it is fair, I am happy.

I am not a set collector - I keep my scope to only collect the players above (have to keep the hobby in check somehow!) My Wantlist is kept completely up to date with the cards I want - if we do not have any matches, I am open to selling, but I am not looking to add any other cards not currently on my Wantlist.

EDIT as of 5/24/23: Unfortunately, I need to place a disclaimer here after some of the messages I have received. I work, as do most of you. I work away from home most of the time. Long days, lots of driving. I also have a second job I work part time sometimes. Two kids, sports, homework etc. You will see I am online as the website is open on my phone all the time to look into my lists. Please be patient. I am usually able to get into my collection a couple days through a week, and mail either on Fridays or Mondays.

thank you

I do not place condition on my cards. If you have questions please ask in your transaction messages. They can range from pack fresh to well loved. :)

Actively trading, and will sell as well.

If you see something in my Personal Collection that I have extra of, I am not opposed to considering a trade for something I dont have.

I was a collector in the 90s, during the junk wax era. I recently came back into the hobby in the last year and a half. I have a stellar reputation as a trader and seller and buyer on Twitter.

Please reach out with questions, and I look forward to working with you!

My kids also collect, as of summer 2023 will be 8 and 11. They like Pokemon, Star Wars, WWE.

Here is my PC:

Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bills, NY Mets all years and players I need.

Pete Alonso, Patrick Roy, Brett Favre, Jack Eichel, Jarred Kelenic.

Ice hockey goalies, all team, all players, all years.

I'm finishing up the trades I currently have in progress, and turning off trading for a little while.  With the holidays coming my work is going to be crazy busy and I simply don't have the time to respond and trade as quickly as I like to.  Hopefully I will be back in early December, but it also might be January.

I do not buy cards often, I primarily use this site for trading.

I'd like to sincerely thank everyone that I've traded with so far.  This is by far the best trading community I've found.  Since I started trading in early 2023 my personal collection has grown more than I ever would have thought.  I cannot wait to get back to trading, but for the time being I will be focusing on finishing logging my for sale/trade cards.

I prefer PWE trades, but am open to different shipping methods.  No trade is too small or too big.  If you would like to do something other than PWE, please mention it to me in your trade request, otherwise I will assume PWE.

I collect only baseball cards. I did from about 1998-2003, and then again 2018-present.  My cards will be free of major imperfections, unless I specify in a note, and I will double check them as I pull them for trades.  Please let me know if the cards I am trading for have any obvious damage.

I've been selling and trading through the baseball card sub-reddit, and have vouches there, as well as Facebook if my feedback here isn't enough.

PC is a large variety of players, but most were Braves at one point. Currently my main focus players are: Ozzie Albies, Max Fried, Andres Galarraga, Chipper Jones, Greg Maddux, Joe Simpson, and Ronald Acuña Jr.

I want as many different cards of every player that I can get. I don't care if it's a Topps, Panini, or Post Cereal card, what team the player is featured on. The only thing I don't want is a duplicate. Full PC player list:

Hank Aaron, Ronald Acuña, Ozzie Albies, Ian Anderson, Bo Bichette, Jazz Chisholm, William Conteras, Bobby Cox, Julio Franco, Freddie Freeman, Max Fried, Rafael Furcal, Andres Galarraga, Marcus Giles, Tom Glavine, Tony Gwynn, Andruw Jones, Chipper Jones, Javy Lopez, Greg Maddux, Nick Markakis, Matt Olson, Austin Riley, Cal Ripken Jr., Jackie Robinson, Joe Simpson, Zane Smith, John Smoltz, Mike Soroka, Spencer Schwellenbach, Spencer Strider, Don Sutton, Dansby Swanson, Darius Vines, Ted Williams.

My collection consists mostly of baseball and football cards that I pulled from packs in the 70's, 80's & 90's, with some more recently acquired 50's and 60's cards added in. I also have some basketball and hockey cards, but those are not my main focus.

I am a Pittsburgh sports fan always looking to add to my collection of Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins cards, as well as cards of my favorite players from my childhood (especially Al Oliver), and hometown heroes (like Dick Allen).

I am also currently working on completing the 1975 Topps baseball set.

I am open to trading, buying, and selling.

ALL CARDS ON TRADE LIST ARE FOR SALE OR TRADE.

USA TRADES ONLY PLEASE

PC/TRADING:

Cal Ripken is my only real PC, trying to get as many as I can.

I have a preference towards the Orioles and RC's.

Looking to mostly do deals where I send you 5-6 cards on your list and get 1-2 in return.

When trading Autos, Relics or SP's, I would want one of those in return, or a higher quality Ripken in return.

Will most likely not trade one of those for a base card but you never know.

Feel free to send me an offer for what cards you would like, empty on your side, and I will find something from your list that I am interested in.

SHIPPING:

I do all of my trades PWE, unless we discuss that beforehand. I understand that once in a blue moon cards coming either direction get lost, I have 200+ transactions that can attest to my credibility and reliability when it comes to this.

If you are not ok with this please do not trade with me. Things getting lost in the mail sucks, but it happens

GRADING:

I am trying to update condition on my cards as I enter new ones and go through as I am pulling trades. If the card does not have any issues I will mark it as EX-MT. and then work my way down from there. I am NO expert when it comes to grading as it is not something I care about, but just trying to give a rough idea on condition for you..

Can't wait to trade with as many different people as possible and hope to do some great deals!

I collect just about anything related to the Baltimore Orioles.  My collecting passions include Orioles team issued postcards, team issued B&W 8x10 photos and programs.  I also collect items from the Orioles minor league affiliates from 1954- present, especially programs and team photos.

My Orioles card collection ranges from 1954 - present.  I really enjoy Orioles regional and oddball card sets.  I also collect minor league sets from O's affiliates.

I have baseball, football, basketball, hockey, and racing to trade---happy to trade across sports (and trying to acquire more hockey)

My wants:

  • Hockey: Pittsburgh Penguins (all eras), Minnesota Wild (recent - especially Kirill Kaprizov), certified autographs, relics, Pinnacle Masks, enforcers, minor league hockey (all eras).
  • Baseball: relics of players from the beginning of baseball through the 1990s. I am specifically looking for one jersey relic each of: Will Clark, Ozzie Smith, Bo Jackson, and Andres Galarraga.

Any size trade is fine

PWE is always preferred and has worked fine even for relics - please don't waste extra money on postage!

Recently completed a '68 Topps Game set and reached my goal of 1000 different Roger Clemens cards on TCDB.  Now I'm focused primarily on completing the following sets:

1954 Red Heart

1957 Topps

1995 Topps WWF Pro Wrestling Stars

Also, always interested in acquiring Bill Dillman cards (69 Topps especially).

When trading for vintage, centering goes a long way for me, but I'm flexible.

Yankees team sets (Topps Flagship base cards from 1952-2023)

I'm a set collector, so I accept all kinds of trades. I enjoy trading so send me small or large trade requests.

I also collect several players that I have listed under my favorites. I will also trade non-baseball cards for baseball since I collect primarily baseball.

PWE IS ACCEPTABLE TO ME AND THAT IS HOW I SHIP UNLESS THE TRADE IS LARGER. I WILL SHIP OTHER METHODS IF SPECIFIED.

Baseball cards, since I was given my first wax pack in 1978.  Working on completing early 1970's sets now.  I've completed '74 thru '92.  I stopped there, my college graduation year. Maybe someday I'll head to the '60s.  Always looking for trades and generally agreeable to about anything.  Have plenty of extras I'd like to move to build unfinished sets.  Not awful picky about condition - prefer not beat to hell, torn, written on, or all creased up, but certainly don't have to be near mint.  My '78 and newers are mostly in great shape.  Many of my '77 and olders are also solid but I do have a number with some wear.  So, if you propose something, I'll gladly pull the cards, verify condition, and let you decide.

**Have to update that I am only shipping to US and Canada at this point**

***I have gotten my Heritage collection down to where I just need one SP, a 2005 Marino Rivera, so if you have that and want to trade I will give you some good stuff!  Figured I would modify some of my below trading expectations around that.

I collect Vintage, Heritage, Archives, and most retro Baseball releases.  I like old cards and new cards with vintage designs.  I also have a growing collection of poorly cut and wildly written on cards, so I always enjoy finding examples of those, may publish a book of them some day, but they are not a premium to me, I like them cheap and crazy!

Worst collecting regret...so far....selling my dads SGC 2.5 Mickey Mantle rookie card(9007788-062), his SGC 4 1952 Jackie(9007788-067) and my 1953-1980 complete sets through Heritage Auction House in 2016, they acted like they cared but in the end their level of interest and service goes hand in hand with the grading number on your card, they flaked and disappeared on me losing thousands of my cards in their vault for over a year, stay away from them unless you have the 9.5 Mantle like they just sold, they care then.

I have most of my vintage cards listed for sale/trade but my extras are mostly well loved to good-vg examples, so if you prefer perfect cards or EX-MT I probably can't help you.

My Trading thoughts...

-In terms of overall trades, my vintage is well loved, but in decent shape, im generally looking to trade it for other vintage on my want list(which is mainly variations, Topps oddballs, or a 1952 Mickey Mantle :0) or interesting Heritage/Archives stuff like relics, SPs, or autos in roughly equal value.

-For vintage commons 1958-1985 I have removed cards with really bad corners, gum damaged, badly mis-cut, bad creases,  and anything falling into the poor category and some bordering on fair.  So cards will be high fair condition , mostly good condition, some VG, and a few EX.

-For vintage commons 1952-1957 I have removed cards with missing corners, badly mis-cut, full on creasing and bent cards, but some are what I would consider fair with creasing and rounded corners, generally the older the cards in my lists the lesser condition they are in.

-For vintage stars and high numbers from all years I have removed gum damaged, badly miscut, and cards in poor condition, but have left ones in my trade list that may have bad corners, some creasing, and would be considered fair condition due to them being harder and more expensive at the higher grades, so ask if that is something that might bother you I can share details on defects or photos.

-In terms of Heritage SPs, now that I only need one, I am more willing to trade what I have left of them for other Heritage special inserts, chromes, autos and/or relics I need in a similar value range.  I no longer require an SP for an SP, but more so then looking for something common, looking to trade them for Heritage stuff I don't have.  All cards are EX or better, with only pack related issues.  I try and remove all dinged corner cards, but if you get some I missed I apoligize and will work to correct if they are not.

-In terms of Heritage/Archives commons and most other cards I am willing to trade them for most things on my want list again in roughly equal value across the products.  I am also willing to sell bulk Heritage commons if you need a lot for a set.

-In terms of my 80s OPC stuff, it ranges from Fair to Ex condition, I remove cards with writing and serious damage, there are some 71/72 and 79-84 cards that are in lower conditions and mis-cut, as an American collector in the Midwest OPC is hard to get, I usually buy bulk lots and some cards are in bad shape, I pull the really bad ones out, but as experienced OPC collectors know mis-cuts are a way of life, so please understand this.

-I have a few of the Super 7 action figures from the Big League baseball line as well, I look for roughly $25 in trade value for those or figures from the list I don't have in exchange for any of them.  This is the going rate for these and shipping will cost me extra due to the size.

-I have several vintage non-sports sets I have been building, some since my childhood, I am glad to trade equal value and time period baseball cards for those as well.  These cards tend to be Good to EX.

-I am also willing to sell bulk Heritage/Archives/80's commons if you need a lot for a set.

-I have a lot of extra sets of recent Heritage and Archives as well as extra sets of 1980-1989 Topps, Donruss, and Fleer made up of cards I myself opened in the 80's so if you looking for a set let me know and we can discuss how I can give my old cards a good home.

-I build Heritage and Archives sets a few months after release and can help if your looking for that as well.  I sell many at my LCS, but glad to help TCDB members out as well.

In the end feel free to offer a trade, I wont be offended but may say no based on the above.

I am a set builder, mainly baseball. Over a million cards to trade, 1982-2020, not listed here, were already listed on another site. I have listed some cards here for trade,  and most cards listed in the Sportlots collection are for trade/sale as well.  Thanks!

I am relatively new to TCDB but have been part of the baseball card blogging community for well over a decade. I have over 100,000 cards to trade. Also if you collect matchbooks/matchcovers, stamps, or bottle caps (including MLB/NFL caps from the 60s) I have some of those to trade, especially the matchbooks which I also collect.

PLEASE NOTE: While my modern cards are almost all mint/near-mint, the condition of my vintage cards vary greatly. Some are in quite good shape for their age; many more are in good/fair/poor condition.

ALSO NOTE: For the time being I will usually only be mailing out all packages, including PWEs, once a week, on Saturdays.

For my TCDB wantlists, first priority is my vintage Topps setbuilds. Second priority is the modern cards that I have on there. Lowest priority is the 2017-present Topps setbuilds. For now, for TCDB, my primary focus is completing my 1973 Topps set. I do collect everything baseball, so even if you don't have cards that are on my TCDB wantlists, you will probably have plenty to trade that I would be interested in . . .

Any and all Braves cards from 1954 - Present (RIP Hank Aaron).

I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

Willing to trade just about anything for Braves cards......

I have been trying to do the impossible and collect the entire 2016 Topps and Update Sets. Any help would be appreciated!

Topps Regular and Heritage Baseball.  Anything Harmon Killebrew, Tony Oliva, and  Alonzo Powell.  Trading only. I am not very concerned about centering. Not interested in graded cards.  I like to trade for roughly equal value.

When I receive a trade proposal, I assume that the sender believes the offer to be a fair and balanced trade, and I make judgements accordingly.  Please do not send me trade offers where all you have done is copy what "Trade Matching" finds, or where you have nothing to offer from my want list.

I WILL NOT SHIP TO CANADA.

Love to trade - a few cards to hundred,

MAINLY Old baseball and non sport - pre 1980 , 70s football.

Recent -  Chrome Platinum Anniversary, Heritage, Archives, A&G, Topps, Stadium club, Chrome Bowman and Topps  - mainly 2019-2023

^^^^^^^^^^^^^   Its common sense, what's it going to cost me to buy, both sides the trade. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I love old cardboard - Started as a kid collecting in 1974, buying and opening packs with my cousin ( who later in life gave me all his 74 and 75s.  It was all about finding any Aaron cards when ripping open a pack that year.                                                ((ORIOLES FAN, VIKINGS & PANTHERS FAN))

Mainly Vintage Baseball - 1973 and older - (working on second 74-80 sets - looking EX or better for these)

rather HERITAGE SP FOR HERITAGE SP

As a child, I was obsessed with baseball cards, to the point that I could look at a card, any brand, any year, and tell you exactly the year and the best cards in that set. Now I'm 39 years old and the obsession is even worse (or better, depending on how you look at it).  Working for Topps would be a dream job at this point.

Things I collect:

  • Darryl Strawberry Cards (Currently Ranked #6)
  • Aaron Judge Cards (As of 4/19, following watching him rob Shohei Ohtani of a HR and then hit a bomb the following half inning).
  • Current and Past Year Topps Sets 1, 2 and Update base cards & certain inserts (priority to the 35th Anniversary Cards, Redux cards and Black Gold, but there are others that I like)
  • Current and Past Year Topps Chrome and Update base cards & inserts (again, priority to 35 Anniversary & Redux cards)
  • Other inserts and parallels that look cool.

Right now I’m mostly focusing on adding to my Darryl Strawberry Collection, but also looking to complete the 2021 and 2022 Topps Main Sets & Updates, as well as Chrome.  I'm also beginning to collect Aaron Judge cards.

My preference is to trade duplicates from 2021 and 2022 for cards that I need from those sets, but I’m willing to trade any number of them to get parallels and serial numbered cards.

All cards in my collection are available in the right deal! Every day, I'm adding more cards to my For Sale List, most of which are in great condition.  Any cards you might be interest in, I'll check out before finalizing a deal.

I prefer sending cards through PWE, so that I can make more trades, but will send in a Bubble Mailer if there are more than 20 cards, or a higher value card that is being moved.

I check this site a lot, so send trade offers away!

Refocused my collecting. Willing to sell any cards on for sale/trade list or trade for the following:

Baseball:

  • George Brett (Top 2 in TCDB) - my primary collection...if you have something I need I am interested in trading for it. Tons of extra Brett stuff and others for trade for primary.
  • KC Royals

Football:

  • Derrick Thomas (Top 4 in TCDB)
  • KC Chiefs (Topps only)

Added a bunch of base Chiefs and Royals to my wantlist...these are intended to be trade fillers and not a primary focus for me. Priority will always be given to trades including the names listed above. Please do not send me a trade with multiple common Royals/Chiefs cards for stars.

I DON'T SO SMALL TRADES WITH VERY LITTLE VALUE. THE CARDS AREN'T WORTH THE COST OF SHIPPING TO ME.

UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, I ASSUME PWE IS ACCEPTABLE FOR SMALL TRADES. THANKS!

Very active trader, always willing to discuss a deal.  I've had many successful tranactions already, and continually working on more!  I like trading/buying/selling. I have 10's of thousands of cards, they're just not all organzed as I buy large lots at a time. I plan on adding more cards weekly.

As far as what I collect, I focus primarily on the following players:

Barry Sanders, Charles Woodson, Tom Brady, Derek Jeter, Ty Cobb, Al Kaline, Larry Bird and then to a lesser extent, Grant Hill, Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, Fab Five Wolverines, Alan Trammell, Lou Whitaker, Bo Jackson, Steve Yzerman, Nicklas Lidstrom and Michigan football and basketball alum.

I'm always willing to look at offers. Please be patient though, as I don't always respond quickly, but I will respond one way or the other.

***Please do not send trade offers that rely on prices from the site to establish fair value***

Thanks!

I only have Topps and Bowman on my want list, I am interested in any Topps or Bowman Blue Jays and Expos cards I don't already have.

I normally mail in a PWE if you want a different sort of shipping let me know and we can work something out.

Favorite Teams:  Atlanta Braves, Miami Hurricanes

PC Braves Focus:  Ronald Acuna (currently Top 30 on TCDB)

Current Braves ISO: Harris II, Strider, Albies, Riley, Olson

Legacy Braves: Freeman (Braves cards only), Chipper, Maddux, Andruw, Dale Murphy, Aaron

Braves team cards, Rookie Stars (multi-panel), Team Stickers

Other PC focus:  Griffey, Ichiro, Trout, Ohtani, Kershaw, Verlander, Walker Jenkins

Current Set Builds:  1981 Topps (1 to go), 2013 Panini Cooperstown, 2022 Panini Diamond Kings - base, Gallery of Stars, Modern Strokes, 2022 and 2023 Topps base.

Collecting Focus:  Shifting away from vintage to modern except in targeted situations e.g., my next endeavor is to collect every Braves team card and Braves-specific Future Star cards from 1955 onwards.

Trade Strategy:  I believe in trading value for value and when in doubt I will overpay in trade to get what I want.  I keep my want list minimal so if you see something on my trade list, send me a proposal even if we don't match all that well.  It's likely I can find something I want on your For Trade list especially if it fits my PC but have not ID'd the card.

Favorite Set Builds:  1957 Topps, 1962 Post Cereal, 1978 Topps

ACCURACY:  I strive to enter the cards accurately, but as has already happened I make mistakes.  Just let me know and we will work it out.  Sometimes I misenter 2 of the same card when I only have 1.  Others I just cannot locate the card.  I will not pull cards before I make an offer, but I will pull before I accept one from you.

CONDITION:  All modern cards (2010 - current) should be NrMt. Junk Wax cards listed should be ExMt-NrMt unless otherwise noted (1981-2009).  Vintage (1980 and older) are generally Vg+ unless noted.

SHIPPING:  I will ship PWE (either standard white or larger yellow envelopes).  I will generally look to visit the post office on Mondays and Fridays. 1 to 6 cards I will ship in smaller envelopes generally with penny sleeves between two pieces of card stationery.  Up to 12 cards in a white PWE envelope with cardboard backing - I pay the extra .25 cents and have them hand-sorted.  13+ I will ship in a larger envelope.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:  I will ship PWE to Canada; and PWE to other locations on a case-by-case basis.

BACKGROUND: Grew up in the 70s/early 80s in South Florida attending Spring Training games at old Miami Stadium (Baltimore Orioles) and West Palm Beach (Braves/Expos).  Big Yankees fan originally especially Reggie and Thurman but with the TBS SuperStation migrated to the Braves in 1982.  Have visited 19 MLB stadiums:  Atlanta (Fulton Co and Turner), Camden Yards, Yankees (old and new), Mets (old and new), St. Louis (old Busch), Texas (Arlington), San Diego (PetCo), Oakland, Wrigley, Fenway, Tropicana, Joe Robbie (Marlins), Toronto Skydome, Coors Field (Rockies), Wash. Nats, Comerica (Detroit).

FAVORITE BASEBALL MEMORIES:

1.  1992 NLCS - Sid Slid

2.  2021 - Soler hits it out of the stadium

3.  Visiting Cooperstown in 2019 with my father and youngest son a few months after my mom passed away.

Full time Red Sox fan, part time Phillies fan. But honestly, I just love collecting. My favorite sets are Topps Heritage, Topps Allen & Ginter, and Stadium Club.

I am always looking to trade for Red Sox players (bonus if they were on the 2018 World Series roster) and current Phillies + Chase Utley and Jimmy Rollins. If the card isn't on my wantlist, offer it anyway! If a card you want is in my collection, go ahead and offer on it, as long as it isn't Red Sox/Phillies.

I am always looking for cards I don't have of:

  • Ted Williams
  • Rhys Hoskins
  • Bryce Harper [prefer him as a philly]
  • Nathan Eovaldi
  • Buster Posey
  • Tim Lincecum

I also sometimes collectPokémon/Neopets cards.

Thanks for reading and I hope we get to make a trade!

This site offers the unique ability to turn stuff I don't want into stuff I do for only the cost of postage. I make 3-4 trades a week and I've completed over 400 trades.

Send me offers!  I get maybe 1 offer for every 50-60 that I send out.  I enjoy trading, but constantly searching for trades is becoming a time suck.  If I have something you want, please ask me for it.  If we don't have matches I will find something I'm willing to trade for on your trade-list.

Within reason, the actual value is less important to me than expanding my collection.  I don't normally look up values.  If the site has prices listed, I may use those, but my view is trading a card I don't want for a card I do want is a win regardless of "value" or "worth".  I will try and even out trades with more than a couple cards in each direction based on Beckett BV or COMC/Sportlots.

If you get a trade offer from me that doesn't meet your expectations, please offer me a counter.  If I decline a trade, I will always provide a reason, please offer me the same courtesy.  If you decline a trade without a reason, I'm probably not offering again.  If your response is "it's not worth the postage" or "values are a little off" I probably won't offer again.  It's just not how I look at trading.

Collecting interests:

  • Ripken Collection: This is my primary collection; I've been a collector since I was a kid.  Currently the #6 on the site.  My goal is over 5000 unique cards logged.  So, if I don't have it, I want it.  Although my want-list doesn't include any card SN#ed 25 or less, that doesn't mean I won't trade for it.  I whittled down my want-list to only include cards SN#ed higher than 25 to make the list easier to navigate.  I am willing to trade from this collection, so long as I have the same number or more cards coming in as I do going out, but I'm selective on what I'm willing to deal from this collection based on how difficult it would be to replace it.
  • Vintage & high-profile Orioles and St. Louis Browns players:  I have cards from lots of different Orioles players.  Some guys I may have up to a couple dozen cards.  Within this collection I'm trying to put together a collection of rookie cards for the top 50 Orioles WAR players of all-time, 48/50 complete.  I do cycle cards in and out of this collection, especially for current players.  If there is something you like here, message me and we may be able to work something out.  My want-list is generally small for this collection but I'm open to adding stuff not on my want-list. If there is something you like from my trade-list, you can always offer me some Orioles cards.  I especially like orange parallels and black parallels; it pairs well with the jerseys.
  • Orioles minor league players: Notable Orioles prospects and minor league cards of significant Orioles players. These are generally not available because I tend to only keep one minor league card per player.  I may be willing to make a deal involving the same player.
  • Baseball Stars and HOFers: Unless you'd be offering a better card of the same player, these cards are not available for trade.  I'm always interested in acquiring a card of a good or great baseball player, whether or not they are on my want-list.  Condition (on vintage) usually doesn't matter to me as long as it's not creased or ripped.  I'm more interested in the historical value than the monetary value for this collection.
  • 1992 Topps Baseball: It may be the epitome of junk era cards, but this was the set that got me into collecting.  I built the set as a kid and is one of only 2 complete sets I have. It's nostalgic that Topps has used this layout for reprint sets.  In addition to '92 Topps and Topps Traded I have completed the '92 portions of 2012 Topps Archives (6 cards), 2013 Topps Archives (3 cards), and 2022 Archives (25 cards), I also have finished sets of 2021 Topps Update Redux (50 cards) and the 2022 Topps Archives MLD autographs (15 cards).  I'm currently building '92 portion of 2017 Archives (100 cards).
  • Football and Hockey:  Buffalo Bills, Washington Football, and Buffalo Sabres cards.  Feel free to offer me anything I don't have, particularly off-base cards.  Prefer players not be in their college jerseys.  If you want something from me and we don't have any matches, feel free to offer me stuff from these teams, particularly Josh Allen, Sean Taylor, or Chris Cooley. Any of these are also available in the right trade.
  • Non-sports: This collection is just used to catalog my early 90's Marvel sets.  No wants or for-trades for these and I'm not willing to break my complete Marvel sets.  If you are looking at a trade and can't find anything, my kids are into Pokémon and I'll take some of the insert cards (EX, GX, V, MAX, etc..) in trades to trade with (or bribe) my kids.

Other useless and non-useless information:

  • I'm constantly trying to build the different insert sets from Ripken's 2007 HOF year.  I've already put together the Ultra Iron Man, SPx Iron Man, Upper Deck Commemorative, Upper Deck Road to the Hall (w/Gwynn), and the Upper Deck Iron Men (w/Gehrig), and am working on Spectrum Road to the Hall, and Ripken Chronicles.  I'm only 1 away on the Chronicles set.  Any help on these would be greatly appreciated as they are very hard to find on auction sites.
  • I have a personal goal of seeing every MLB stadium.  Currently at 26 and hopefully crossing off both LA stadiums next!  Lots of good memories trying to complete this goal, but the best in-game memory is seeing Max Scherzer's no hitter! 1 OUT FROM A PERFECT GAME!  Stupid Jose Tabata...
  • Packaging: I prefer PWE.  Trades become less enticing when I need to drop $5-$6 on a bubble mailer.  I typically will package smaller trades (6 cards or less) in semi-rigid holder(s) with first class stamp.  Over 6 cards will be shipped in 9 pocket pages with cereal box cardboard and a non-machinable stamp.  I seldom make trades over 18 cards, but those would generally require a bubble mailer.  Please don't tell me after we both accept a trade that you want your stuff packaged BMWT if it doesn't fit with how I pack things.  I try and review packaging expectations in profiles before proposing a trade, but if that is your expectation, please make me aware before we both accept the trade.  If your packaging expectation isn't stated in advance, I'm packing how I see most appropriate.
  • Shipping: I make regular trips to the post office and will attempt to mail things out the day after they are accepted.   I will only ship PWE internationally, must be able to be sent with a single international stamp.
  • Trading: I don't have any weird restrictions on trades.  I'm fine trading big lots for small lots or small lots for big lots.  I'll trade between eras and between sports.  I'll do inserts for commons or commons for inserts.  I just want both sides to feel like they've improved their collection after our trade is completed.
  • Buying: I'm open to buying but only if it's slanted in my favor and likely only to add to my Ripken collection.  I'm much more interested in trading.  Buying, in the type of cards I need to increase my collection gets very expensive, very quickly.
  • Selling: I'm open to selling anything on my trade list.  If you'd want bulk base commons, I'd do $0.15 - $0.20 per card plus shipping.  That should be better than on eBay or Sportlots.  Anything off base, send me a reasonable offer.  I'd love to clear some room in my trade boxes.  I tend to use COMC to comp anything off-base and make sure my price is less than on the site.  I will quote any purchase BMWT unless we agree to a lower cost method.  All reasonable offers considered!

Been collecting sports cards (off and on) for over 50 years.  Back in the hobby after about 10 years away. Adding cards as I get a chance, many still in storage.  Willing to sell or trade.  Also have many unopened 2021 products - Topps and Donruss.

Looking to complete Yankee sets from 1980s to present.

5 cards incoming is a minimum for trades, please! (Unless it's a higher-value card)

I am prioritizing my collecting on Nebraska Cornhuskers currently, so any trades for those former players are preferred.

Check out the results of the Ukraine trip here!

Declining trade offers with no message is of little use to the person initiating the trade, show some effort to those putting together trade offers and take a few seconds to note why the trade doesn't work in its current state. A few moments to communicate can lead to a deal getting done!

On the flip side, please stop sending me 1-4 card trades showing that you didn't read/ignored my top message in bold, respect for time goes both ways!

I have a small wanted list but have no problem selling cards to fund purchases of cards I am after so hit me up with a buy offer if we do not have trade matches.

The variations I have listed are correct* at time of listing.

1991 Topps listed as PR are non-glowback variations.

The 1991 Topps cards on my WL are glow/No-glow specific, when offering let me know which you have, if not there is a 50/50 chance I would receive a card I do not need.

* Unless a catalog change occurred after listing that I am unaware of.

Thank You for looking at our cards...Our main Saves are Jordan, Gretzky, Judge, Jeter, Yount. We would like to keep them simple as in PWE if possible....

8/24/2023 - UPDATE: I've done quite a few sales following my prior note.  Thank you to all who sent proposals.  I am turning trading back on, but will definitely still consider selling to anyone who is interested.  Thank you!!

Came across tcdb.com towards the end of 2019, and I have now completed over 1,400 transactions, with over 22,000 cards changing hands!  Love everything about this site.  I have met so many cool people from all over the Country, and even a few from Canada and beyond. (Just completed a trade to Finland, as a matter of fact).

Stole this from another member, but......my goal is to have zero cards in my For Sale/Trade List.  So keep the proposals comin'!

(I know my Want List is relatively small, so I am certainly willing to Sell cards if we don't have enough matches to work out a trade)

My PC list is as follows (with TCDB rankings as of 9/28/2023):

NBA: Giannis (5), Dirk Nowitzki (4), and Tim Duncan (2).

NFL: Sterling Sharpe (3), and Don Majkowski (2)

MLB: Aaron Ashby (1), Roberto Clemente (1), Jackie Robinson (2), Robin Yount (8), Tony Gwynn (6), Hal Morris (3), Mark Grace (7), Ethan Small (1), Pat Listach (1), Corbin Burnes (1) and Mark Langston (1)

WWE: Lita (4)

UFC: Conor McGregor (4)

Non-Sport: Eddie Vedder, Judah Friedlander, Big Jay Oakerson, The Brothers Osborne (TJ & John), Rob Riggle, Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, Charlie Berens, Post Malone and Brody Stevens

Although I currently live in Florida, I was born in Milwaukee.....hence my obsession with Wisconsin sports teams.  Ha.

Please check out my For Sale/Trade list, and feel free to message me or send me trade proposals any time.....let's see what we can get done!  (I don't necessarily trade based on "book value", but rather the value to me, so please feel free to counter if I propose a trade that you feel is unfair.  I also have no rules about "insert for insert" or any of that nonsense, so don't be shy to shoot me a proposal)

Sucker for late 90s shiny, die cut, etc inserts

I prefer to trade base-for-base and inserts-for-inserts (rookie cards are the exception). For commons, the cost of a stamp kills trades of less than 3 cards

US trades only, please

If I have something you want, please feel free to message and I'm happy to take a look through your trade list

Cal Ripken, Jr. cards are my main focus. I also collect Fred Lynn And Baltimore Orioles cards. I am currently ranked on TCDB as # 10 for Ripken, # 5 for Orioles, and # 3 for Fred Lynn.

I am currently looking for Baltimore Orioles Pocket Schedules.

I am also actively searching for the Holiday Inn room key cards of Cal Ripken that parallel the 2007 Upper Deck Holiday Inn Ripken set.

Trading turned back on for the fall/winter months when I've got some more time. For commons, I am not trading 1 high value card for a bunch of commons, or all Ohtani/Trout/hot prospect for commons. I also do not want to trade cards with 1 available straight up for cards with 50 available on the site. Nothing personal, I can just get commons almost anywhere and am not going to give away cards where there are only 1 or 2 available here for them. Hopefully you understand.

Chicago Cubs. US Women's National Team Soccer. Chicago Red Stars. Chicago Sky.

Top priority player PCs right now are Willson Contreras and Kyle Hendricks. Any Tatis on my wantlist is my lowest priority - it is just a small side PC so I'm not looking to overpay for anything Tatis related.

Trading PWE is fine with me. Trades of up to around 20 cards or less will ship PWE unless they are higher value, thick, or by request. If you want a bubble mailer just ask!

I don't collect unlicensed cards for the most part - sorry!

If there is any football, basketball, non-sport etc. on my trade list, I will happily trade it for baseball. I don't really collect those cards they just end up in my collection when I buy lots.

Trading with the US and Canada only at the moment to keep shipping down.

I will sell any cards on my FS/T list as well. Either shoot an offer or a wantlist and I will get you a price.

Lover of all things baseball and avid card trader.

First and foremost a baseball vintage set collector (1980 and earlier) with my daughter, but we also enjoying opening packs together so secondarily a current baseball set collector as well.

Happy to trade baseball for baseball, and trying to trade all non-baseball cards to make room for more baseball.

For the most part, when trading baseball for baseball, we would like to trade vintage for vintage, junk wax for junk wax, current for current, etc.

Dot-vars: We are listing variations accurately for trade, but not collecting different variations.  Adding all variations to our want-list to "cast a wide net" but only collecting one variation of each card.

Since I've been asked where our username came from... my daughter picked it for our geocaching name years ago and wanted to carry it over here.  Pretty simple.

Happy to post pictures of cards for trade for any trading partners that need.

***Constantly updating our want/trade lists so please check back for trades.

I Have Complete Sets for Sale/Trade:

COMPLETE SET FS/T LIST

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GENERAL BUY / SELL / TRADE INFORMATION:

While everything I have is for sale/trade, anything listed in my collection will be expensive.

With the exception of some complete sets, my collection is stored in sleeves > pages > binders and sorted by player > year > set > card number.  Transactions involving one player or a few players tend to be pulled quickly, but transactions with many different players take longer.  Not all cards with variations are logged properly, but I am happy to confirm that applicable cards in a proposed transaction are the correct variation.

BUYING:

SELLING:

  • $10 Minimum + USPS Cost (PWE with no tracking internationally OR bubble envelope/box with tracking within the US)

TRADING:

  • Condition: <1987 = EX or better and >=1987 NM - I'll expect cards from a smoke-free environment.  If you're not sure if you're card(s) will pass muster, let me know and/or share a picture.
  • Feedback: If you have little or no feedback, I will request that I receive your cards and/or payment before I ship.
  • Communication: I prefer to work within proposed transactions as soon as possible, but feel welcome to message me first if you're thinking about a larger trade that will take a lot of time and thought to put together.  As long as you're willing to communicate (I am), I'm comfortable with as many counter proposals as it takes to come to an agreement and then confirm that cards exist and are in good shape BEFORE the transaction is accepted by one of us.
  • Postage: Please mention if you want to limit the card count for postage reasons as I tend to look for ways to make proposed trades larger.  I also tend to use bubble envelopes or boxes, but I'll do PWEs for single card trades or when mailing international.  Unless we discuss it as part of the transaction, I do not expect any specific method from you.

I've been a baseball collector since the late 80's and love to trade.  I am primarily a set collector and belong to several online trading clubs.  My never ending goal is to collect all the regular issued Topps cards from 1952 to present.

My main collecting interests are vintage cards,  Minnesota Twins,  a few newer sets and Bert Blyleven.

Vintage sets:  1952 Topps, 1953 Topps, 1954 Bowman, 1954 Topps,  1955 Topps,  1956 Topps,  1957 Topps,  1963 Topps,  1967 Topps

Newer sets: 2004 Donruss,  2005 Donruss,  2012 Cooperstown, and 2020 Stadium Club.

* I prefer not to trade vintage cards (below 1976) for newer cards.

* Before delivering or accepting a proposal please make sure you have all of the cards.

Some Golf:  Built 1981, 1982 Donruss Golf  and 1991 Pro Set.  Some duplicates for trade.

Some Basketball:  Not sure exactly how I acquired most of these cards and most are for trade.

Some Multi-Sport:  Not sure exactly how I acquired most of these cards and most are for trade.

Some Racing:  Built a few sets in the early 90's and have some duplicates for trade.

Some Non-Sports:  Built sets in the late 80's and Early 90's and there are a few that are incomplete.  Have some duplicates for trade.

I collect every Toronto Blue Jays card that I don't have. I prefer to do PWE trades.

Send offers! For every 20-30 offers I send out, I get about one coming my way.

If I have cards on your wantlist and you don't have anything on mine, I will sell. It'd be nice to occasionally replenish all the funds I'm spending on stamps!

I guess it's time that I put a real profile description on here, as I've been around for a couple of years and am starting to ramp up my trading.

I am a baseball only collector. I owned a card store for about 9 years in the heyday of the junk era boom (1989-1998). When I closed it, I put the cards in storage for about 8 years, not touching them until roughly 2006.

I decided in 2020 to narrow my collecting focus to only two areas:

1980's oddball sets if they were produced by one of the big five (Topps, Donruss, Fleer, Score and Upper Deck) Here's all I need from that era:

Some 1988, 1989 and 1990 Topps Stickers (1981 through 1987 complete)

Some 1983 Fleer Star Stickers (all other years complete)

A full set of 1980 Topps White Back Supers (all other years complete)

A full set of 1980 and 1981 Fleer Laughlin Team Logo stickers

1984 Fleer Update Gooden and Clemens to finish the complete run of 1984-1991 Fleer Update sets

A complete set of 1981 Topps Scratch-offs

Complete sets of 1983-1989 OPeeChee Stickers (have 1982)

All of the Topps Team Checklists from 1980-1982 (not the pack pulled ones, the ones that were printed on thinner cardboard sheets)

1970-1976 Kellogg's sets (I have completed 1977 through 1983. I might give up on this quest as these don't meet my criteria of being made by one of the big five, and finding older ones uncracked is hard and expensive.

A fair number of 1982 Fleer stamps (1983 is done)

Most of the 1989 and 1990 KMart blister pack Topps Batting Leaders

Some of the 1991 Score Rookie/Traded Magic Motion Trivia cards (1988-1991 regular sets complete)

That's it for 1980's oddball needs

Will detail my other focus (1990's complete insert sets) when I have more time.

I have tens of thousands of star cards from football, basketball and baseball not listed in my FS/FT yet, but will be working on that as time allows. If you see that I have cards on my wantlist that you have, but don't see anything on your wantlist that I have, send me a message and I bet I can round up some trade bait while I'm working on inputting them.

Welcome!

Selling only at this point.

However, I will also consider one for many trades (that is, one card from you for many cards from me).

Will look at and reply to all proposals; whether it is for the 1 stubborn card needed to finish a set or for 1000 cards to finish a couple.

Will ship to most international locations.

Unless specifically requested, items will be shipped:

1-6 cards: pwe in low profile toploader

7-24 cards: pwe 3 pocket page sandwiched in froot loops box

25+ cards: bubble mailer with tracking

200+ cards: boxed and shipped priority bubble mailer.

I strive to have items in the mail within a day of transaction acceptance.

Follow the link below to see active items on ebay.  Make a best offer at 10% off the listing price with the message tcdb10 and your user name.

Thanks for looking!

Yes, I am one of those fools trying to finish the VAR master sets from the late-80s/early-90s. If you see a mass want from that set I'd prefer to purchase a large lot/full set (even that means taking on dupes for myself) rather than trade for onsies and twosies (though funnily enough I have PC’s that fall into this boat).

Priority collection projects:

1) Finishing 80s and 90s baseball inserts moving into the new century

2) Vintage, all sports

3) Finishing off hockey sets and inserts

4) Finishing off football sets and inserts

5) Extensive PC lowest priority

I WILL buy. I will NOT buy if you insist on pandemic pricing.

***FOR PROPOSED TRADES***

1. I WILL trade to my friends up north; always have, always will.

2. I WILL NOT trade cards out of my collection, FS/T only. If it’s in my collection, it’s because I want to keep it to meet my goals (whether I get there or not is a different story 😊)

3. I’m continuously updating my FS/T list as I have several large lots I am sorting through and adding here.

4. The nature of my work means I can work odd hours at times. It may take me several days before I get to your request. I know this is usually an understood condition for traders on here, but I just want to put it out there now especially for those I have yet to trade with.

5. I take trades first-come, first-serve style so a requested card may already be accounted for in another trade. I put this one out there because I have times where I was balancing 5-10 trades and have run into this.

6. I’m always open to counteroffers so please be flexible yourself.

7. I’m open to anything from small PWE to large lots.

8. I will trade across sports (baseball for football, etc.) so a trade doesn't have to revolve around one sport or even numbers.

9. For trades up to 20-30 cards, I try to ship PWE. I have successfully used multiple PWE's for larger trades also. Bubble mailers will be used for more valuable cards.

I always look for equal value in trades. I do not use Beckett nor this site for price comparison. I use 3rd party sites to gage values as they can indicate more real-world sales/selling prices. With that said I will NOT do pandemic pricing. So much stuff out there is artificially inflated right now and I will not “overpay” for an item. I don’t have hard ratios as to what I will trade (1 HOF = 5 commons, etc.). I know what I paid and can research value; just want fair value in return. This also means I’m open to off-balance trades where one of us get more cards than the other. Again, it’s about making both sides happy.

For any vintage on my FS/T list I tried to be accurate as possible on condition. I can send pictures of any vintage upon request. I will trade for vintage, but I am a stickler for condition. I’m aiming for NM on my vintage sets. If you are going to send me anything from the modern era, I would expect NM or better. One would think that's a no-brainer, but you'd be surprised on how disappointed one can get...

***NON-TRADING MEMBERS***

I'll sell any cards on my for sale/trade list for a fair and reasonable price plus enough to cover shipping. I'm not in this to make a profit, but to help fellow collectors meet their goals. I am open to buying, but again, will not do pandemic pricing.

Time to give my profile a quick update...

I have been on TCDB over a year now.

150 trades in my first year and always looking for more.

Players I am collecting:

  • Robin Yount - My all-time favorite player. I have been out of collecting for the past few years so I have a lot of older stuff (during his playing days) but missing a lot of newer stuff
  • Mike Caldwell - My first favorite player
  • Brady Clark - My nephew's name. Someday I can give him a collection of cards with his name on them.

I have finished a number of sets thanks to TCBD.

I have gone back and started collecting Topps flagship sets. Also have some to finish up from before my 15 year break in collecting. Here's what I'm working on now (or will be soon):

  • 1999 Upper Deck Ultimate Victory

I'm always willing to trade or sell. Let me know what you're interested in and I'm sure we can work something out.

A NOTE ON MY 2022 & 2023 INSERTS: At this point I am looking to sell these rather than trade. I may be tempted by something special but for the most part looking to sell. I also have several 2022 Topps Series 1&2 sets as well as Topps Series 1 sets to sell as well.

Please check out my eBay listings. I should always have a number of items up for sale there.

2023 goal. I'm going to start a slow overhaul. Realization set in and I have over 100k cards and no room to organize. My daughter isn't interested in my cards, just her shopkins and mlp cards. So nobody to pass them to. So I'm going to focus on completing sets and selling them.

12/11/22- completed my first set from scratch! 2018 Donruss with all variations! I still have a lot of sets to work on. Current ones I'll work on are 2013 Topps Chasing History- all three series. 1998 spx finite, I have a few thousand to start working with. 1984 Donruss, already working on it. 2014 Topps color series except for red. If you see anything you want to trade, send me a message!

I first started collecting in 1990, took a long break (20+ years) and started collecting again in 2020. I primarily collect my favorite Astros players (past and present) and Topps Houston Astros team "sets".  I am also collecting Houston Astros pocket schedules.

My favorite atheletes are:

  1. Nolan Ryan
  2. Jeff Bagwell
  3. Craig Biggio
  4. Earl Campbell
  5. Hakeem Olajuwon

I love to trade and want to help others who enjoy collecting as much as I do, build/complete their collections, while collecting every different card of my favorite players.

***If you are offering a trade and you see I need a '53 Topps card that you have, I am most likely not interested in trading for it, as I am collecting a graded set and just use the wantlist to keep track of what I still need.***

Chipper Jones, Derek Jeter, Tony Gwynn, Ozzie Smith, Kirby Puckett, Vlad Guerror (Sr.), Don Mattingly.

Players from Delaware including Mason Fluharty (my cousin), Zack Gelof, Jake Gelof, Delino DeShields, John Mabry, Chris Widger, Randy Bush, Chris Short, Ian Snell, Joey Wendle, and others. University of Delaware athletes in UD uniform. Tennessee Volunteer football players in UT uniform. Duke basketball players in Duke uniform.

Cards on my for sale/trade list typically consist of the following conditions (I will let you know if an individual card is in worse condition):

2020-2010 - Fresh out of the pack, typically NrMt

2000-2009 - Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt (may have a fuzzy corner or show a little bit of edge wear from being in a box, especially if the card has a dark colored border)

1988-1999 - Cards from when I was a kid. Some may have some fuzzy corners or edge wear from being in a box. If the wear/damage seems significant I will let you know once I pull them.

1981-1988 - Some may have some edge wear, fuzzy corners, may have a dinged corner. Others may be straight out of the pack. I will let you know if there are any serious issues.

1980 and older - I typically include the condition. Most of these cards are EX at best. Some are a lot worse. I can send photos if you are interested, just ask.

I don't typically pay attention to centering unless it is really bad. If the card is legitimately miscut and you can see another card on it then I just throw it out and it won't be listed here (with the exception of some vintage stuff).

I prefer to trade my non-baseball for baseball cards, as I'm trying to focus my collection and reduce the space it takes up.

I ship PWE unless it's too many cards to fit or there's a card of significant value.

**2001,2003, 2006   2014-2021 Topps Heritage are my main focus for year 2022. Looking to finish these years up just base set with SP's. Inserts are really not a concern.

I will look at all others trades no problem but I would love to get these sets completed for 2022!!!

Please!!! No creases on cards that I am trading for. Be upfront about it!

I collect mostly Chicago Cubs cards and Topps full sets. I ventured off in the 2000's with other sets so trying to finish those up.

Favorite players growing up was Jose Cardenal!!! I thought he was so cool!! So if anything a Jose Cardenal card will make my day on my wantlist.

Billy Williams, Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, Fergie Jenkins, Rick Reuschel, Andre Dawson, Ryne Sandberg, Sammy Sosa.

My Pre-1979 cards are Mostly in Ex condition or better but i will always let you know if there is a problem with a card that I don't think will fit your criteria. Other than that I am up for most trades that are fair. I try to stay within a couple of years for trades to keep even but am open to other years. Mem and auto cards need to be countered likewise unless you give me a ridiculous deal.

09.26 - In the process of adding my vintage to my trade list.  I'm not listing anything with creases or markings but these are old and have corner issues in most instances.  I am happy to provide pictures for any vintage card I have.  Just let me know.

***Please know that I will always promptly reply to your trade proposal, but it may take me a day or three to confirm the cards.  Weekdays are busy for me.  Weekends allow for more time spent on cards.  If I reply with a "this should be good to go" or something along those lines, there is a 99.9% chance the trade will happen.  Please have patience.

Priorities

1a.  2023 Topps RC side project

1b.  2023 Topps Series 2 set

1c.  2001 Topps Master set - I'm down to the tough ones.  Eight golds left, most of the game used and autos.  I realize completing this set is a pipe dream but I love the chase.

1d.  Looking for a Mike Schmidt g/u card.  Needs to be a licensed product.  Getting my hands on one may help me pick up one of the 2001 Topps cards I've been hunting down for 20 years.

2.  2019 Topps 150th Anniversary parallel set - Need just 119 of the flagship set and 105 of the Update set.  Most of the really tough ones I already have.  This set is totally doable.

3.  Any Topps card I need.  I'm a set collector, first and foremost.  going back to my first year of collecting (82) thru today.

4.  I'll never say no to Diamondback cards I need.  last I checked, I needed 97,000+ Dbacks cards, lol.

I have the following rookies not listed on my for trade list.  I'd move these for tough rookies on my wantlist.

All Topps - Tatis Jr, Vlad Jr, Acuna, W Franco, K Bryant

Set collector of Topps, Topps Chrome, Topps Update sets.  Also collect Diamondback cards.

Love the site!  Great people to trade with so far, and it's helped me complete a few of the sets I was working on.  My collection goal is to put together all of the base paper Bowman sets from 1989 to current.  Anything I have outside of that is available for sale or to trade to help me get the cards I'm missing. I've been slowly adding to my wantlist, as well as updating my for sale/trade list.  I usually have time to work on updating on Thursdays and the weekends, which is primarily when I pull cards for trades as well.

I'm also going to work on rounding out a collection of Howard Johnson cards, as he was my favorite player growing up.

I've mainly traded so far, but am willing to sell anything that is on my for sale/trade list also.  Please feel free to send me offers!

Also, I will buy Bowman paper base in bulk from case breaks and put sets together.  If you are interested in purchasing a set, reach out to me around release time for any of the bowman base sets!

Thanks!

Now the #1 collector of Ryan Klesko cards on TCDB!  With more to come!

PC:

High priority: Ryan Klesko, Dale Murphy, Dave Winfield, Dominique Wilkins, Kenyon Yovan, Michael Conforto, Adley Rutschman, Nick Madrigal, Trevor Larnach, Steven Kwan, Cadyn Grenier, Drew Rasmussen, Gary Payton II, Jacob Melton, Will Frisch, Cooper Hjerpe, Justin Boyd, Nahshon or Rezjohn Wright, Terry Baker, Christian Chamberlain, Gary Payton, Ethan Thompson, Darwin Barney, Jake Luton, Jermar Jefferson, Hamilcar Rashed Jr, Luke Musgrave, A.C Green "In the Name" cards, Jade Carey.

Lower priority: Junior Seau, some Bo Jackson, Eric Lindros, Jordan Poyer, Mike Hass, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Jacoby Ellsbury, Steven Jackson, Nick Barnett, Matt Moore, Ochocinco/Chad Johnson, Sean Mannion, Johnny Hekker, Sam Gaviglio, any Oregon State alum/player in any sport (male or female).

PLEASE SEND TRADE OFFERS.  It's my favorite part of the hobby.  Always willing to negotiate a good deal for both sides.  One card, or 10+ cards.  I'm fine with any size.  USA & Canada only, unless the card is significant enough to me to ship overseas.

I do NOT collect/keep any other cards of any other players/teams.  If the card isn't a unique card to me of one of my guys above, it's not something I will keep.  I don't want duplicates either.  I'll trade it or sell it if it's something I think I can move; otherwise, no thanks.  But I DO want any card of any of my PC guys if I don't already have it.  My trade/sell and want/wish lists are updated, so if it's not on those lists, it's highly unlikely that I'm interested in it, or I already own it.

Fan of: all OSU sports, Braves, Red Sox, Blazers, Chargers, Flyers, Timbers, Tottenham FC.

Goal for VINTAGE ONLY CARDS (condition NOT very important...just no rips/tears, no writing on the front...some creases ok): Hank Aaron (preferably in a Milwaukie uniform, but not required), Mickey Mantle pre-1969 (earlier the better), Babe Ruth any vintage year, Joe DiMaggio any year, Lou Gehrig any year, Ted Williams pre-1955, Jackie Robinson any year, Shoeless Joe any year, Jimmie Foxx any year, Satchel Paige any year, and Stan Musial pre-1960.  For basketball, would like a Alcindor while in Milwaukie, early Doctor J, Oscar, early Magic/Bird, Bill Russell, Wilt, David Thompson, Cousy, Mikan, Moses & maybe a couple others.  Prefer to stay as cheap as possible, but for the right card might go a little higher...obviously Mantle/Ruth/Joe D/Wilt and those types would be more.  Again, condition I know won't be great at these prices.  I now have a Hank, Mantle, Jackie, Clemente, Bob Gibson, Ernie Banks, Sandy Koufax, Mays, Jerry West, Maravich and Gervin at these levels, and a couple of Ted Williams, that I'm very happy with.  But the more the merrier if the price is right!

  • I will typically send cards via PWE unless the quantity is above 20 and then I will send BMWT.  If you wish a smaller trade to be sent BMWT, please let me know & adjust the trade accordingly.

  • I do not pull cards before making a proposal. It’s rare that I don’t have what’s listed but it can happen but I will pull them before accepting a proposal

  • All cards will be sent PWE. Will send 3 PWE to keep the cost down. Anything more than 54 cards(3 PWE with 18 in each) will be sent in bubble mailer/box.

Please do not expect me to accept trades of base / commons for inserts. If at first glance, I see what I think is an unbalanced trade I most likely “decline”. Sometimes I will counter but not if I already have several transactions in the works. Remember, what you may consider a valuable card or cards may not be as valuable to me and vice versa. All pricing whether here, E-Bay, or Sportlots are just market gauges and subject to my wants and needs and availability. An example of this, is I would accept an offer where I would trade ten to fifteen 1995 Fleer Ultra X-Men base cards for the 1995 Fleer Ultra X-Men Suspended Animation #4 Jean Grey card.

I do not mind trades that are a cross years or types of cards as you can see by my past history of trades.

I do both PWE and Bulk trades though I prefer trades where I can have tracking numbers. I have yet to have an issue with trades that have tracking numbers. Whereas trades with PWE seem to be problematic.

My wife and I have taken to collecting cards again after we ran out of space in the basement to hang memorabilia.  So technically I have to run trades/sales by her.  We are heavily into hockey and baseball with minors in football and basketball.  I am still working to upload a lot of our collection and build a wantlist. Similarly, I am not as diligent marking cards available for trade/sale as I upload but most items in our collection our available for trade/sale consideration especially if the trade is for newer hockey. We have secondary interest in baseball, football, and then basketball. We are mostly Chicago sports fans.  We are nutjob Blackhawks fans so that will always get our attention. Secondary interest in Cubs/White Sox with Bears/Bulls third.  I am always interested in Upper Deck Engrained cards.

As a note, from early January until around April 15th, I am not online for trades very much.  I will try to respond as work permits.

I am primarily a Topps baseball set collector trading for cards which (mostly) will be added to my personal collection...one that hopefully one day will be passed along to my kids to continue this awesome hobby.

I am currently reviewing the sets I have so I can list upgrades, so I will likely be adding to my wantlist frequently.

My biggest goals for right now are to finish my 72-76 base sets. Of course, I am always looking to add to my sets from years prior to that.

I am trying really hard to find several cards from the 2001 Fleer EX baseball set, including the Behind the Numbers inserts...only a few to go, but they just don't show up very often.

I have a good deal of cards from other sports, gaming, and non-sport genres to pass along.

I have no problem trading modern for vintage and vice versa, as long a the perceived value is pretty fair.

Lots of cards to trade/sell, message me if you are interested!

******** For all late 70s/early 80's cards on my Wantlist, I am looking to upgrade cards with bum corners, marks, wax stains, etc. I am looking for NM cards from this era in most cases. ************

I'm a set builder at heart.  My recent focus has been on:

  • 1977 Topps: NrMt (mostly upgrades)
  • Gypsy Queen Inserts
  • 2012 Topps Update: 1987 mini's
  • 1993 Studio
  • 2019 Stadium Club
  • 1975 Topps: VgEx or better (early stage set build)
  • Will Clark and Alan Trammell PC

My want list reflects my set builds for 1960, 1975-1980 Topps, random major brand base sets from 80's and 90's, and a handful of sets and insert subsets from the last 10-15 years.  I also like Detroit Tigers cards and pc Will Clark, Alan Trammell, and Tony Gwynn cards from their playing days.

I like nice cards and will be upfront if anything I'm trading away wouldn't fit into my set builds.  I'm interested in VGEx or better for 1960 and 1975 Topps.  For 1976-79 Topps, I'm targeting NRMT sets but would be interested in anything ExMT or better and I'm looking for NRMT or better on anything 1980 to present.

The primary teams I collect are: St. Louis Cardinals, Portland Trail Blazers, Oregon Ducks (college and alums), Portland Timbers and Portland Beavers. Secondary interests include collecting sets (especially Topps Heritage and Allen & Ginter) and picking up the odd Philadelphia Eagles card that suits my liking.

Player collections:

Ozzie Smith
Jim Edmonds
Chris Carpenter
Adam Wainwright
Darryl Kile
Matt Holliday
Matt Carpenter
Brendan Ryan
Clyde Drexler
Wesley Matthews
Rasheed Wallace
Randall Cunningham
Sabrina Ionescu

I am always interested in numbered, autographed and/or memorabilia cards related to the above teams/players, even if they aren't in my want list.

Cards in my collection are not for trade or sale unless specifically marked as "for sale/trade". I'm open to PWE and larger offers to all countries. Please let me know immediately if you do not want cards sent via PWE.

Notes for trading pre-1980 cards: For anything on my want list, I am most likely interested regardless of condition (within reason, of course.) For anything in my trade list, I have made an effort to add a condition tag to anything that I would consider less than near mint. I have zero experience in actually grading cards, though, so feel free to reach out if you want more details about any individual card including a scan or picture.

Collect baseball Hall of Famers and notable players from the 70s/80s but am interested in all eras of baseball. I am not a set builder and enjoy helping people build sets. I will give a lot of commons for pretty much any cards on my wantlist so if you are looking to complete a set please ask for as many cards as you need. My collecting priorities are.

1. Players/cards from the 70's - early 80's. These are the players I grew up with and know the best.

2. Players/cards from before the 1970's. If I had an extra million $$ I would probably spend it on cards from this era because I have little to nothing to offer in trades for cards of this vintage.

3. Junk wax era cards, which I basically consider to be 1985 -1995 because that was when I was least interested in baseball.

4. Modern cards. I am just not interested in serial numbered cards, parallels, one-of-ones and all the other ways card companies manufacture scarcity to feed the business of collecting. With the exception of Topps Now cards. I love the idea of seeing something happen on the field and then ordering a card of it the next day. Current players I actively collect include, Zack Greinke, Joey Votto, Bartolo Colon, Andrew McCutchen, Max Scherzer, Roy Halladay, Ichiro Suzuki and Bryce Harper because he's is still the best thing the Phillies have going right now.

I try to be careful of condition. I note condition issues where I can but have not yet gotten to most of my traders. If not noted I will check with potential trade partners on anything that is worse than EX or EX-MT for newer cards. I also try to keep my lists accurate but have given up on ever getting it perfect. I apologize in advance if there is something on my trade list that I don't actually have.

All offers considered but prefer to trade like for like - i.e. modern for modern or vintage for vintage.

I prefer big trades (50+) to small trades but am happy for any and all offers. Shipping in PWE is fine with me.

Trading off for now, to do some more re-organizing.

Working on completing Topps Baseball sets 1960,1969, and 1970.   I have complete sets from 1971 to 1981 But I need to upgrade some as I sort through them.

Also working on modern base sets and some inserts as they catch my interest.

Trying to complete Reds team sets from any year, have most of the 70s covered and am working backwards.  Have a good start on the 60s.  Partial Reds sets from 1980-2020 are sitting in boxes waiting to be sorted.  I have alot of reds duplicates including specials/inserts for former reds stars (Bench, Morgan, etc,)

Have some misc. items I have accumulated that I will try to list like basketball cards, modern baseball.

Still working on updating my collection in the database.

Colorado Rockies (current, former and minor league)

I've been collecting Rockies cards since '95, initially digging thru common boxes for anything Rockies while living in Seattle. Galarraga was my favorite player. Later on I made it a goal to find a card (in any uniform) for every player who had made it to the majors as a Rockie.

After about 26 years, I finally caught up with all the new and older players. A David Moraga card was the one that got me to 100%.  At the time I had all 593 players.

I've continued with that goal to date (never missing more than 3 players at a time)

As of Sept 22 I am back to having a card for all 653 players.

My last additions were Victor Vodnik & Evan Justice.

Trading Priorities & TCDB Ranks:

Todd Helton #3

Andres Galarraga #3

Charlie Blackmon #6

Ezequiel Tovar #1, with just 30 cards :-)

also trading for Griffey Jr.

Rockies #23. I have over 9000 Rockies and related cards, but who knows when I'll get around to entering them :-)

I have about 2300 misc. FS/T cards including lots of Todd Helton & Andres Galarraga plus tons of unlisted duplicates of current and other former Rockies players for trading as well.

Growing up in Detroit, Al Kaline & Gordie Howe were my boyhood sports heroes.   Always collecting and trading for pre 80's Detroit sports cards. Currently collecting 1975 Topps baseball mini set. Many '75 mini I have now are considered fillers due to condition and need of upgrade.  I'm limited in vintage cards to trade but have plenty of desirable cards in great condition.

Aside from minor league baseball, don't look for junk wax era baseball commons and VARs listed here for trade.  Parallels, inserts, SNs, RCs, HOFers, food issues, oddballs, etc... can be found instead. The vast majority of the cards offered are in great condition/ pack fresh.  I try my best to point out any minor flaws such as a dinged corner (no matter how slight).  Unless it's a vintage card, any noticeably flawed cards with soft corners or creases will not be offered here. Cards are from a smoke and pet free environment.

**Grumpy rant- I am on this trading site to interact with others and share the joy this hobby gives me.  If you send an offer with no message don't be surprised if it's declined. Of course, this depends on the offer (or my mood) so don't get butthurt if you get declined in this fashion.  If you can take the time to pull, package, mail, and check off status bars, you certainly have time to write a short note...just saying.

When making offers on a card that is the only 1-2 being offered on the site, be aware if the cards you are offering are cards I can trade for at anytime your offer will likely be declined. Most of these cards hold a premium value as well.  I would expect a rare offering/value in exchange.  Offers not on my want list will also be entertained thus, that little bit more of an effort may benefit the both of us.

Having been a former MLB groundskeeper, I'm offering IP autographs that I have acquired for trades only.  They are listed as to what particular card is signed.  I'm more than happy to email photos upon request.

Sorry, no international trades (including Canada) for me.  Probably going to lose out on some great hockey cards but based on past shipping experiences, it's just my preference.

Update after 6 months on site (joined on Thanksgiving 2020; couldn't host or travel that day due pandemic lockdown)

I continue to be impressed by the membership here.  100 deals completed, and only 2 with issues (1 wasn't delivered due p.o. imcompetence, trading partner made it right immediately; and another trader didn't fully describe item with a major flaw and then sent incorrect cards but made up for it after a 2 month wait).  All partners I've dealt with show commitment to shipping quickly and doing drama-free deals, and I sincerely hope that continues!  Haven't yet completely decided how to handle vintage card deals, it just seems easier to deal with modern stuff so there are no disagreements regarding card condition which can get sticky at times.

Near term direction and goals:  finish 1 Topps Heritage set (2016 Trout SP where are you), add Mike Schmidt needs to wantlist, add wants in 2002 Topps 206 and 2003 Topps 205 mini sets (non-polar bear backs) and complete 2009 Topps 206 mini set with all Piedmont-back SP variations.

The most enjoyable trades I've found were with individual team 'super collectors'.  I've got enough oddball stuff going back to the early 70s that I can usually find something they've been in search of for a while, and I enjoy the dig!

I am a set builder

Most of my want lists are now inserts

Filling sets from the Late '80s and '90s and  2021 to present

New here and I am slowly organizing my collection. Good thing I am a widower because my kitchen table is a disaster.

If you offer a trade please give me some time so that I can locate the cards - I don't have a really good filing system yet! It is a work in progress.

will also trade #' ed cards that are in my PC so if one catches your eye or a need you may have, shoot me a trade proposal

also have some unopened packs from 1987 and more for trade including silver packs from 22 and 23 that I can include to trade for higher value cards.

I still have more to post in my collection and cards to offer in the next few weeks, so check back often

I  am currently working on Master sets of Topps from the early 90s and most of those needed are VARs

************************************************************

IF I AM REQUESTING "VAR" OF CARDS FROM A SET, BE SURE THEY ARE CORRECT! BUILDING A MASTER SET REQUIRES ALL VAR OF A CARD ( "dot", "no dot", Different Print Codes, ETC...)

***********************************************************************************

Since joining TCDB, I have completed the master set of 1986,1987,1988 and the 1992 Topps ,92 Stadium Club (1800cards) sets as well as the 1983 Fleer!  Only 40 years later...LOL

My Favorite BB team is the Mets and have been since 1976 many tough years and hopefully, this season will be good!!

Any size trade will be considered!

I don't pull cards until a transaction is suggested, but rarely can I not find all the cards to trade

I will purchase if need be but really enjoy trading, will do any combo of cards and cash as well

I ship cards, 99% of the time, on the same day Trade has been agreed upon. Unless it is a weekend. I would like the same courtesy. If possible- THANKS and happy trading!

A day without a proposal is NOT a Good day for me

Due to some space constraints and needing to down size, I would love to sell off some of my cards listed on my For Sale / Trade List.

I have completed hand collated sets, tons of base cards and a lot of inserts and parallels.

Let me know what you would be interested in .

If you do have something from my wantlists I am interested in trading in your favor.

Still looking for Mike Sweeney & Bobby Murcer I don't have.

If you have any Mike Sweeney or Bobby Murcer cards to trade, please click on my separate collections to see what I have and what I am looking for.

Thanks

I am a set collector, mainly the base sets from the Topps flagship sets.  Once in a while, I will collect other sets such as Allen & Ginter, Topps Heritage, or Topps Archives.

I also collect cards to use to get autographs, especially Bowman Prospects & Drafts.  I am also trying to collect the entire 1985, 1987 and 1988 Topps set signed.

As of now (depending on what happens to the Yankees) I collect Aaron Judge, Gleyber Torres, Anthony Volpe, Jasson Dominguez.

2022 represents an anniversary of collecting trading cards for 70 years. I spent 50 years as a set builder of baseball cards, but now I just collect cards of the above players with an occasional small set collection. At one time, I had an collection of complete sets of Topps and Bowman baseball cards (plus others) from 1954 forward plus quite a few cards from the 1952 Topps & 1953 Topps and Bowman sets. During the late 1980s and early 1990s I sold off the majority of those sets but still continued completing sets until 2002.

I've been trading online since 1994 and welcome any trade offers.  If I offer a trade, the cards normally have already been pulled prior to an acceptance, counter or decline. It is not a problem for me to re-file or exchange cards in a trade if needed.  I do keep records of my trading with my partners addresses and occasionally recheck those traders for future trades or sometimes just send along a PIF (pay it forward).  My one major disappointment with this site is that I did not find it many years before I did.  I will usually mail cards out promptly with tracking, however lately I have used PWEs for relatively small value trades.  Saying this, I welcome trade offers.  I do not expect to ever wind up with compete collections of any of the players I collect, nor do I want to.  I try to just enjoy my collecting habit and strive to make new friends in the hobby!

Last but not least, I do not sell cards, trades only.

PC - John Elway. Also looking to fill holes in the sets I collected when I was younger, and trying to build the Topps baseball sets I missed out on when I stopped collecting for a while. Just recently started to build a collection of Texas Rangers Topps base parallels.

To get the most for my postage buck, I'm trying to keep my trades to either: 1.) - less than 20 cards or so (which will go out in PWE's), or 2.) - larger than 50 which will go out in bubble mailers. Also, unless they're something which I'm really interested in, I'll pass on trades of only 2 or 3 cards going each way.

6-27-23 Update:

I have had to turn off trades for a while, I am a full time art show artist, and this is my busy season. I simply do not have time to pull trades and give them the time that they deserve. I will be back when my season slows down late fall. I appreciate all of the wonderful trades I have made and look forward to doing so many more!

MY PC:

Yogi Berra #1 on TCDB. I have almost all of Yogi's vintage playing days cards with only oddball cards left. So I am going after his modern cards too. I have all of his cards on my want list minus 1/1's, autographs, and multi player memorabilia cards but am always interested if anyone has them.

Roy Campanella #1 on TCDB. I am in the same boat with Campy. I have almost all of his vintage cards with very few oddballs left. I am going after his modern cards with the same exceptions as with Yogi.

Pee Wee Reese #1 on TCDB. Same as with Campy and Yogi, my Pee Wee Vintage needs list is short with only oddballs left. So I am doing the same with him.

Jackie Robinson. Jackie is primarily for my daughter, she is a bigger Ernie Banks fan but we get Jackie for her too.

 Satchel Paige #5 on TCDB

 Ty Cobb #4 on TCDB

George Brett

Salvador Perez

My 9 year old Daughter Marley Collects:

Ernie Banks: #6 on TCDB. Marley's Heaven Daddy passed away when she was 6 months old and his favorite player was Ernie. During Covid, I got back into cards and Marley's Mom pulled out her Heaven Daddy's cards. He had a handful of Ernie vintage cards so she wanted to collect more of them. She has his complete base career run and several oddballs, but we are trying to attain the rest. She sells and trades her own cards to get more Ernie and has sold some of her toys to buy vintage cards as well. She has been given cards from several of our friends on Twitter and if you want to see her collection look at my pinned tweet on my account. @Passion4Baseba1.

Jackie Robinson

Salvador Perez

Nico Hoerner

Anthony Rizzo as a Cub

Javy Baez as a Cub

Marley has decided that she wants to finish her sets from when we first started buying her cards up to 2023 Topps. If you have any of the commons she needs for these sets feel free to propose a trade.

I bought a pack of 1985 Topps back when I was a kid and I've been hooked ever since. I put my first set together the following year of 86' Topps and my goal was to get every card ever made. It only took a few years to make that goal pretty unobtainable, but it wasn't for lack of trying. My first set that was older than me that I finished was THE 1971 Topps. Worked on it for years. If the internet and eBay wasn't invented, I'd probably still be working on it.

I am currently working on every major Topps set from 52-69. When completing my 64 set I came across some beautiful high numbers which made me upgrade the rest of the set. Now I am upgrading my entire 60's collection to at least Ex-Mt. The majority of my 70's set are Nm if not Mt. Haven't gotten that picky with the 50's yet, just want to finish them. While my passion is vintage cards, I have spent entirely too much money on current stuff. I have limited my collection to baseball so stay tuned to me listing all of the other sports on my trade list. (Still having a hard time letting go of my childhood cards)

I'm also a huge Cincinnati Reds fan. Like the Bengals also but like I said limiting to baseball. Bo Jackson is my only exception. Lol

BASEBALL: San Diego Padres, HOFers, MVPs, CYs, ROYs and other baseball legends, as well as baseball players from Mexico.

I collect for fun, so none of my cards are professionally graded, but all of them are at least in very good (or better) condition. I'd also like to get cards in at least very good condition, so please let me know if any of the cards you're offering are not in good shape (bends or creases, severe corner wear, or major scratches), as I probably won't want them in my collection. Ask for details if interested in the condition of the cards I offer, I'll do my best to disclose any significant issues with the cards before accepting a trade.

I'm not an expert, I make trade offers in good faith, and try to reach equal value, so if my offer doesn't look good to you, let me know, I'm always happy to make a deal.

I'll send the cards via PWE unless we agree otherwise; Due to recent issues with USPS, I'm now choosing to take the envelopes directly to the post office to make sure they're processed properly, so it may take me 1 or 2 days to ship, and I can only ship on weekdays. I'll do my best to communicate when making a deal.

Sorry, the cards in "My Collection" are not for sale/trade.

I do sell, but I am always up for a trade, so make me an offer!  If the trade is in a PWE, the limit is 27 cards, anything more would have to be in a bubble mailer or another PWE. I am open to offers. FOR JUNK ERA Cards and/or YANKEES, I am looking for NEAR MINT or better. If it is Vintage, I do prefer excellent condition or higher. Please be open about condition of cards. I do not want any markings, creases, or altered cards.

Currently building Yankees team sets; mostly Topps. I love vintage cards. Collecting HOFers, stars, and star RCs.

Yankees player collections: Don Mattingly, Derek Jeter, Bernie Williams, Jorge Posada, Mariano Rivera, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, Bill Dickey, Phil Rizzuto, Mickey Mantle and any other Yankee player that only played for the Yankees. Babe Ruth goes without saying, but hopefully you get my point.

Player collections: Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Patrick Ewing...Knicks fan! For football, I PC Larry Fitzgerald, Eli Manning, or NY Giants! Pokémon, JJ Watt or any Houston Texans (my sons).

February 2022 update:

So my efforts to focus on hockey as much as possible over the past 16 months have failed miserably. There are just too many really nice baseball (and a few football) sets to collect. I am a sucker for vintage look and feel (Gypsy Queen, A&G, Heritage, Archives). I am also pretty keen on inserts and a few parallels.

If you have any of the following, let's talk:

Hockey:

  • OPC Retro parallels

Baseball:

  • 2019 A&G Hotbox Gold parallels
  • 2021 Gypsy Queen Green parallels
  • 2021 Topps Archives Big Foil inserts

I've been having a great time trading around the world - looking forward to keeping the good times rolling in 2022!

I'm primarily on this site to (1) collect Kansas City Royals  (2) collect Garbage Pail Kids and find a solid person that has the same interests with the GPK for multiple trades.  Meanwhile, I want to help others complete sets and make some friends through the hobby.  Ideally, my trade would be quantity coming to you, and some small quality coming back to me.  I am very willing to send 20-30 commons for 1 or 2 vintage cards, parallel, numbered card, cheap auto, etc.  I know a lot of you all are here for the same reason so it differs when it comes to the Royals, gimmie quantity for quality.

Anyway, I collected as a kid (86-93?) and then in 2018-19 sold nearly all my good stuff for cheap and it's been my biggest regret.  Too embarrassed to even mention what they were.  It did however get me to pay attention to the card market and really got my interest again, so I started heavily collecting just before the boom hit.  My favorite set at that point was 19-20 Prizm basketball.

CURRENT PRIORITIES: (Actively collecting)

Kansas City Royals (nearly all)

Garbage Pail Kids (nearly all, GPK/MLB S1 and S2, and Battle of the Bands are my faves)

Vintage Wacky Packages

1981-82 Topps Basketball (59% complete as of 7/1/23)

1959 Topps Baseball (Just getting started, but most likely my favorite vintage set)

1964 Topps Baseball (just getting started here)

1995-98 Metal Basketball (I'm a Metal junkie, possibly some of my favorite cards ever designed besides 90-92 Skybox Basketball)

1996-97 Metal Baseball

SHIPPING: (Pretty similar to most I believe)

<30 cards with nothing of significant value will be sent in PWE no tracking

>30 most likely sent in bubble mailer with tracking

If there is a card with significant value I'll send with tracking in bubble mailer as well

I love the hobby and enjoy helping ALL collectors!  Send any fair trade and I will nearly always accept.

Thanks for letting me be a part of your experience.

FYI, my mail days are usually Wednesday or Thursday.

Prefer to trade for Toronto Blue Jays.

If I make you a trade proposal, and you don't want to trade, or you need time, or cards I want are pending, or you feel that I've unintentionally lowballed you, it's okay - at least decline the offer. Just declining my offers without any comment or trade revision doesn't really help me submit better trades.  The more I know about your wants/needs, the better chance I have of getting a good offer out to you.

Current U.S. to Canada first class postage rate (up to 2 oz.) is $1.50 up to 3.5 oz. ($2.75) and if non-machinable, $1.85up to $3.05. If you don't have Global Forever stamps handy, three regular Forever stamps work as well. There's also no need to pay $14.85 for shipping with international tracking, because it is just too expensive

SN/MANU and PR cards are not listed on my want list but feel free to include them in trade proposals - always interested.

Trading: PWE shipping, will use multiple envelopes if needed unless advised otherwise

I collect mostly baseball, any year or any brand. I've been out of the hobby for many years. I'm just now getting back into it. I'm somewhere in the middle of entering a HUGE collection into this awesome site. My daughter collects Pokemon cards, so they may end up on here as part of my collection as well, if she decides that she wants to trade.

Trading: A minimum of 12 cards going each way unless there is a true gem / vintage in the trade. PWE acceptable but prefer large trades of 250+ cards in each direction. Please confirm that you actually have the cards before Accepting a trade; I always do the same at this end. Vintage for vintage; HoF/stars for same; inserts / parallels for same, all as much as possible. Priority are vintage, OPC and sets on my UserLists. Having tried to offer cards from these lists will increase the chances of my Accepting a trade; totally disregarding these and offering me 12+ commons from a set that I am so far from completing that they do not make the list is more prone to being Declined, especially if I see you have cards for trade that are on my lists.

------------------------------

Stats: As of 31 December 2022:

Wants OPC Baseball: base sets 1965-1994 + 1981 Grey Backs and 1990 white stock test issue parallel - 344/13,896 cards (2.48%).

Wants Topps Baseball: base sets 1951-2022 + 1952 Black backs, 1954 Canadian, 1975 mini parallel, 1993 & 1994 Gold parallel - 3,139/48,529 (6.47%). Breakdown by decade: 1951-60 - 1,191/3,816 (31.21%); 1961-70 - 1,041/6,135 (16.97%); 1971-80 - 408/7,721 (5.28%); 1981-90 - Complete; 1991-2000 - 70/7,856 (0.89%); 2001-10 - 148/6,986 (2.12%); 2011-20 - 3/6,841 (0.04%); 2021-22 - 278/1,320 (21.06%).

Trading/PIF/Purchases on TCDb:

2022 - 231 + 7 still In-Progress; Cards Sent - 13,922 / Cards Received - 13,530

Total since being a member: Cards Sent - 72,236 / Cards Received - 63,682 (# of trades really doesn't matter to me as it can be misleading to the quantity of cards have come and gone).

Sets completed through Trades/PIF/Purchases in 2022 - 85 sets including 38 base sets.

---------------------------------

2023 Goals:

1. Re-organize my Oddball / Food Issue Baseball sets. First attempt February 4. Will see how that works.

2. Reduce OPC base set needs to less than 300.

3. Reduce Topps base set needs to less than 2,700 (including the 2023 base set issue). By decade, 1950s to less than 1,000; 1960s to less than 900; 1970s to less than 300.

4. Trade over 10,000 cards going each way.

5. Complete 75 base / insert / parallel / oddball sets.

I was first introduced to trading cards as a first grader in 1979 when a kid on the school playground gave me a 1979 Topps #107 Jesus Alou card and one other card (I don't recall which) at the kickball court.  I started collecting in 1980 by buying wax packs of Topps baseball (4 packs for $1) at the nearby 7-Eleven.  In 1983 I started purchasing complete sets of the big 3, as well as older Topps sets as my allowance allowed.  In 1986 I worked for short while for a card shop sorting vending cases of 1986 Topps cards into sets.  Collected mainly complete baseball sets until around 1987 at which point I sold about 2/3 of my collection (~15,000 cards) as I lost interest in collecting.   A few years after graduating college I resumed collecting certain players.  Never got too serious about collecting at that time due to other interests but never completely stopped either.  In 1998 I started to PC Stacey Augmon, as I was looking for something new to collect.  I discovered TCDB in 2020 when I was trying to find a way to inventory my Augmon collection, and picked up the hobby again during the pandemic.  Most of my collection is junk wax era or ultra modern.  I've purchased several large bulk lots via Craigslist and OfferUp, and buy mixed lots of newer base cards at my LCS.  I consider myself a collector, not an investor or flipper. I don't participate in breaks, submit cards for grading, or even open new wax so I'm not looking to strike it rich through collecting, nor do I have many higher end cards in my collection or for trade.  My collecting is completely self-sustaining, meaning all purchases are made through profits from sales, so I am never putting any "new" money into the hobby.

My main PC focus is Stacey Augmon, but I also collect some other players (football, basketball, baseball) who mainly played during the 90s (see favorites to the right).  My goal is to try and get as many different cards of my favorite players as possible.  I only build sets to sell.  Prefer to trade or sell on this site; not really looking to buy.

I love to trade and will respond to ALL offers one way or the other.  All cards for listed trade are NM or better unless otherwise specified; looking for same.  Condition is important to me, although I don't care about centering issues or wax stains.  I am ok with trading cards from different eras and across different sports, trading commons for stars and vice versa, and trades involving uneven number of cards, as long as the trade is fair.  I primarily utilize Sportlots pricing, but normally will just eyeball trade values for most base cards.  I am trying to downsize my collection so I am happy to trade quantity for quality.  Cards will be sent PWE unless they are valuable or there is a large quantity involved.  I generally shy away from trades smaller than 5 cards, unless they're worth more than $5 or so.  Prefer to make trades as large as possible by including as many cards on each others' wantlists as possible.  My goal is to get my For Sale/Trade list down to zero!  However, I am constantly acquiring new cards (ultra modern stuff in all sports) and adding them to my tradelist, so please check back often.  Please also note I am no longer listing multiple copies of cards on my FS/FT list as have started selling the duplicates on Sportlots, so if you are looking for multiple copies of a card, please ask.  I am also always open to selling if we can't find a trade match and will offer you great pricing.  More than anything else, I want you to have a good experience trading with me.  I'd much rather build good relationships so we can do more trades in the future.  If you are not happy with the cards you receive, let me know and I'll do my best to make it right.  I strive for win-win trades where both sides feel good, not trades where one side feels like they are being taken advantage of.

Have some complete sets available for trade or sale as well that are not listed on my sale/trade list: 1986 Sportflics Rookies - Trivia Cards, 1986 Topps baseball,  1990 Donruss baseball,  2020 Bowman baseball (x13), 2020 Bowman Prospects, 2021 Bowman, 1990 Score Magic Motion Super Bowl Trivia Cards, 1992 Pinnacle, 2020 Panini Absolute football, 2021 Panini Contenders Draft Picks, 1994-95 Collectors Choice basketball Series 2, 1998-99 Upper Deck Aerodynamics basketball insert set, 2020-21 Hoops,1991 Topps Desert Storm (x2).  I also sell low priced bulk lots (by set) of ultra modern cards on ebay (see my link below).  Normally lots of 50 to 200 cards for $5-$20.  Great for set builders or team collectors.

For anyone who is going through tough times: If you're going through some tough times whether financially, physically, mentally, relationally, spiritually or whatever and want to make a trade with me but just aren't in a position or have the means to do so, send me a PM and I'll see what I can put together from your wantlist for a free PIF.  After all, when it comes down to it, they're just pieces of paper with pictures on them.  I'd much rather bless someone who needs them than hold onto them.  I am a Believer with an eternal perspective and know that in the end you can't take anything with you.  This is just a hobby, not life or death.

My other collecting interests include sports magazines, sports autographs, and signed sports books.  If you're interested in trading my cards for your magazines, let me know.  In particular I'm looking to fill small holes in my collections of Sports Illustrated, Inside Sports, Sport and the National Sports Daily.  If you're interested in purchasing or trading for any of my autographed sports books let me know as well.  I have books signed by Alonzo Mourning, Apolo Ohno, Brandi Chastain, Chad Hennings, Dave Dravecky, Dennis Byrd, Dick Hoyt, Jim Nantz, Jim Tunney, Joe Garagiola, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Keith Dorney, Lou Holtz, Magic Johnson, Pat O'Brien, Pat Williams, Rex Ryan, Rod Payne, Rolf Benirschke, Roy Firestone, Shaun Thomson, Warren Moon.

7/11/2023...HAVE TURNED TRADING BACK ON. (Although I did not accomplish my goal to get more organized). I'll do everything I can to respond to trades in a timely manner.  THX and happy trading!

I enjoy a good trade.  I like the 4 to 10 card trade using a pwe. I find that is usually 1 or 2 forever stamps, which keeps the cost of the trade to about 20 or 25 cents a card, same as sportslots, but without the additional shipping!.. Besides I'd much rather trade than purchase.

I generally am not able to complete more than 1-2 trades a week with my work schedule, and the time it takes to locate cards that have been requested.

I have complete Topps sets from 1969-1992, and a few later sets from the 2000's. I'd like to fill in the gaps for my missing years.   I am very slowly workiing on Topps 1968 set. I'm pretty certain that the Ryan rookie and Mantle card will be on my "want' list for years to come. I have all complete Allen & Ginter sets from 2006 (their first year) to 2020 (I'll be looking for complete 2021, 2022, and 2023 Ginter sets soon).  I P.C. way too many individual players to name, although I'm not a "super collector" of any of them.

I'll also have this idea to collect CUBS Topps Flagship Team sets from 1952 forward.  That's a long term goal. Condition on older cards not that critical. The older they are the more likley G to VG will suffice.

Favorite Team: CUBS.  Favorite Players (in no certain order); Banks, Sandberg, Maddux, Rizzo, Favorite NON CUBS that I seem to have acquired a decent number of cards of:  Nolan Ryan, Jeter, Ichiro, Frank Thomas, Griffey Jr., Chipper, Piazza, Ripken Jr.

Main reason for getting on TCDB is to get organized (which is looking like will never happen), and to have all of my cards listed. It'll take me a quite a while to get there, but I am slowly working on it.

Update:

10/5/23

I just want to say to the people that have PIF me in the past couple of weeks and the people who have been send get well wishes. THANK YOU!!!! It means a lot to me.  I am working hard to get better. It's going to take some time to get back from 4 discs in my neck and lower back to heal. I am not sitting back letting it stop me from doing the hobby I love to do. So, thank you all for understanding and giving me the time to get you your cards.

9/11/23

Trades are open for a minute. I was in a bad card wreck 3 weeks ago and now I am trying to get some trades for people who ask if I am coming back soon.  And it's alot of people ask me. So please be understanding I have a back and neck injury that slows me down right now.  I am trying to help others out that is why I opened back you trading to see If I can do it.  In the past you all got your cards shipped out within the next day or two of me taking the trade.  It might take me a little longer to ship out with having so many Dr. appointments. but you will get your cards I dont have a perfect rating on here for people not getting their cards. I have done 1300 plus trades. an you can look at my feedback you will get your cards I just need some time. If you are ok with that then lets trade. Thank you for understanding.

11/4/22

FOR THE LAST TIME I AM GOING TO SAY THIS. I DO NOT BUY CARDS ON HERE AND I WILL NOT DO BIG TRADES. I HAVE A SET LIMIT OF CARDS I WILL TRADE AND THAT IS THAT.

10/25/22

Today just I just pick up this really cool lot of cards that I will be trying to work into the database. Another 8500 cards pick up with football and baseball 2017 to 2021. I will be taking some of it for my collection and I will be setting the rest free.

4/2/22

I just got anther collection in most of it is Topps 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 with Opening day, and Update as well. It is not in the database as of yet if you are looking for base or RC I might have them.  I will try to get them into the database as soon as I can. Some of you know that I am also working on getting 350,000 plus cards in as well that was picked up and the first of this year. I hope this help you all out as I get closer to my 1000 completed trade being here.  I an getting slower on getting back to people on trade do to the face that I get a tone of trade offers each day. I will get to you just give me a little bit of time.

Thank you

I will try this one more time. I will only do trades that are 20 Cards or less. If the trade is more then that I will decline the trade offer. I have lost to many card to big trades. An my no trade list is still in play.  If you keep asking for more then 20 cards at one time. You will be put on that list no question Asked.

I finally made the list this year. The Biggest Trade of The Year Tenlbpain and Shaggy69 4,247 Cards. Hell Yes!!!!!

Not buy cards for any reason if I need them or not.

*** 10-14-23 TRADING IS OFF ***

I'm taking a break from trading to add a ton of cards to my For-Trade list. Getting close! Be back soon.

I'M COLLECTING

  • Baltimore Orioles, Washington Capitals, and Baltimore Ravens.
  • Topps Baseball Sets: Focused on completing sets 1954-1968, 1977, 1982, and 1997-2023.

TRADING

Overview

  • I love to trade, but if I have more than 10 trade transactions going at once, I will momentarily turn off my incoming trade proposals to let the trade queue clear out before turning it back on. I don't have the time between family and work to fulfill that many trades at once, especially large trades, and also enjoy this hobby. I thank you for your patience and understanding.
  • I have 32,600+ cards listed to trade (I don't list multiples). As a Topps set collector, fair bulk trades are welcome.
  • I prefer to trade with fellow team collectors and/or set builders to help out their sets. Common for common cards. As a team collector and set builder, there are way too many common cards on my want list making it difficult to line up a one-for-one trade for inserts, hall of famers, etc... in exchange for commons. Nothing against hall of famer, insert, or investment traders, but our interests don't line up easily to make fair one-for-one card trades.
  • I look at the red/green numbers as a contributor to "value". High red/low green numbers mean the card is in high demand. Low red/high green numbers mean the card can easily be obtained by traders on here. There are many cards on my for-trade list where I'm the only active trader offering them (cards typically asked for are the Fleer stickers, Drakes cards, and other inserts). Take the red/green numbers into account when proposing your trade. I could really care less what the price on here says or that those high red/low green numbered cards were abundant during the 80s. If they are hard to get on here, that means something.
  • I'd like to stay within the same decade for vintage trades, 50s for 50s, 60s for 60s, and 70s for 70s. For 80s and later cards, it's not as important. For example, I'd like to trade away my 1970s cards to complete my 1977 Topps set.
  • Let's communicate to make sure both parties have all of our cards available and in acceptable condition BEFORE either of us commits and hits the "Accept" button.

Grading, Condition, and Variations

  • All pre-1970s cards in my for-trade list have a grade assigned regardless of condition. Post-1970s cards will have a grade assigned only if there is something drastically wrong with the card (way off-center, fuzzy corners, crease, wax stain, spots, etc...). I'll report all flaws after pulling cards and before accepting an incoming proposal from you. I'm open to sharing photos of cards if requested. Photos are preferred for vintage trades. I grade based on the PSA standards located here: https://www.psacard.com/resources/gradingstandards.
  • For 50s-60s vintage cards coming my way, I'm OK with cards having slight wear. However, I'm not interested in cards with tears, heavy scuffs with surface damage, writing, heavy creases breaking the surface, severely rounded corners, holes, wax stains, or part(s) of the card missing. Everything later than 1980, I'd expect to be near mint or mint condition. Again, I'm open to exchanging images of cards to verify condition, especially for vintage cards.
  • I make every effort to select the correct card variations within the database. If you are a variation collector, please ask and I will double-check that the variations are correct for you. I wear reading glasses and can make mistakes on those "dot-no-dot" cards. For me, the only sets that I'm concerned about receiving the correct variations for are the 1981 Fleer and the 1991 Topps sets that I'm trying to complete master sets of.

Trade Sizes and Shipping

  • To make a trade worth the postage, I'd like to stick to trades of more than 15 cards going each way unless the cards involved are higher than common in value or vintage cards.
  • 24 Cards or Less: Plain White Envelope (PWE), unless you prefer otherwise.
  • 25 to 48 Cards: Two PWEs (because getting TWO envelopes full of cards in the mailbox is better than one!).
  • 48+ Cards: Team bags in a plastic bubble mailer, or a 200ct to 500ct card box. All larger trades will come with a USPS tracking number shared with you in a transaction message.
  • Work pending, I try to mail out as soon as possible. When work is crushing my soul, I will let you know mailing is delayed. Apologies in advance.
  • U.S. trades only, with the exception of PWEs to Canada. Shipping large trades outside of the U.S. is too expensive.

Thank you for reading my profile and stopping by!

HAPPY COLLECTING!

I collect Diamondbacks,Mariners,D-Rays/Rays,Padres,Expos,Rockies,Marlins,Nationals and A's. I try and keep the trades close in value, when the gap is $10 or more I will decline. When the fun stops that kinda ruins the hobby. Almost completed 80 trades in 6 months on the site. I am slowly adding the rest of my doubles and still have hockey to get on here also.

So if you see a stray card from a year your looking for message me to see if I have more from that year or set. May have to get in touch with someone who can give me the details on trading with Canadian hobbyists.

***PLEASE DON'T TRY TO GET HIGHER PRICED CARDS FOR A COUPLE OF COMMONS. LETS WORK IT OUT TO BE FAIR ON BOTH SIDES.***

12 September 2022 update

Been a bust challenging  month, new grand baby, transition to night shift(12hr) 4 days on 4 days off and a lot of proposals. I have slacked off on countering trying not to get more doubles and finding out I need to do some correcting/updating. Once again if there is a expiration on a deal then you might want to pass on making a proposal. Family first, job second hobby third. I will try to communicate as best as possible when sent larger trades.

***UPDATE ***As of August 2022 I am working nights, 4/12 shifts so my days off are always different. I try to stay on top of things but lately I have started to like sleeping. So  when you see a trade request for  early morning from me, well it is just the afternoon/evening for me. Hope to get more proposals and ones that don't expire in a couple of days when I don't respond or acknowledge.                                 As of September 5,2023 I have moved to a new address. While my cards are in disarray I hope to get back to trading soon.

I turned off trades for the time being. I want to add a grade value for my vintage cards for trade and would like to have the time to do that so you can get a better idea of a potential trade. (11/15/22) I hope to have it up to date by the new year.

All Topps cards are correct!

1981-1992 Donruss are loaded correctly

For your frame of mind. I keep my PC in a binder. I'm grading these on my eye test and I tend to grade a little lower. Most of my VG/EX might be actually EX. So, if you really need a card and want to see the condition I'm happy to scan it in for you.

I didn't get it finished. too many projects. But it's June I'll be sure to find what I say I have, and continue to update as I go.

Thanks for visiting my page, I've got a bit of a problem, I'm trying to collect any set that I have more than 50% of the set collected already. So if you see that we have a match on a rather weird card, or sticker, yes I do want it.

I PC - Don Mattingly, I do have a lot of his cards but odd balls, numbered cards, and some from 2020 that I've slacked on I still need.

Variants, Variants, Variants, all brands. I'm looking at "junk era cards right now".

Also check out my football card wants. Especially 1990 Pro Set Variants.

I'm happy to trade or sell my doubles. I've got boxes of them I'm ready to move.

Trades only!

Top Priority: Tom Glavine (#5 on TCDb) and Trea Turner (#2 on TCDb) and the main Braves stars from past and present.

Just getting my sons started with their own collections. Looking for any braves for them, especially Strider, Riley, and Acuna.

Less actively looking for former NC State Wolfpack (Philip Rivers, Carlos Rodon, Will Wilson, Patrick Bailey, Torry Holt, Jerricho Cotchery, Nyheim Hines, Ickey Ekwonu, TJ Warren, David Thompson, Andrew Brackman, any others).

Always up for a fair trade, so if I have something you like, send me a proposal.  Prefer PWE deals but can make any work.  Will send PWE unless specifically agreed to do BMWT.  I'm usually able to get cards in the mail on Tuesdays and Thursday.  Happy to trade from my standard collection too if the deal is right.

*Several of the junk wax variations may be incorrect, so let me know if that's important to you and I'll verify before proceeding. Pre-1990 cards may or may not be in Mint condition.  I'll pull and verify before accepting to let you know.  Most are just fine.

I try to be as fair as possible with offers and hope you will too.  If something I send seems off, it's unintentional and I'm always happy to counter/adjust to find something that works for us both.  Thanks!

Currently only focusing on my Topps Cardinals, UD Blues and Young Guns wants. Would prefer to make some YG for YG trades.

Baseball - Ken Griffey Jr, Nolan Ryan, Bo Jackson, Scott Rolen, Deion Sanders and Michael Jordan. With these if it's not in my collection I want it! And The Wizard Ozzie Smith.

Hockey - Peter Forsberg, Teemu Selanne, Pavel Bure, Paul Kariya, Brett Hull, Chris Pronger, Wayne Gretzky, Martin Brodeur, Patrick Roy, Curtis Joseph (mostly on the Blues) and Young Guns

St. Louis Blues UD team sets, Blues YGs, (down to 1 O'Reilly variation card I need), UD Blues inserts and St. Louis Cardinals Topps team sets (1951-present.) Most of the newer sets are complete, just missing some short print cards.

I also have some Topps factory sets that aren't quite complete anymore, 91-95, 04x2, 06 & 09x2. Most are missing a few team sets and possible a few other cards. Message me if you are interested in these as I would have to go through them to know exactly what is missing.

If there are any experienced fantasy baseball players here that are interested in a dynasty league, hit me up and we can discuss further.

I collect mostly baseball cards these days.  As a lifelong Baltimore Orioles fan, I always have an interest in O's team cards.  As far a PC I target Cal Ripken Jr. as well as any of the Orioles current prospects such as Adley Rutschman, Gunnar Henderson & Grayson Rodriguez.  I've been collecting since the early 90's and just about all my base set duplicates I've collected through out the years are listed on my trade list and I am very willing to swap any of these cards for anything on my want list.  I will also consider trading ANY of my AUTO cards in my collection for any current Orioles AUTO cards that I currently do not have in my collection.  Go ahead and shoot me a trade proposal and lets work out a trade!

Getting back into the hobby after ~30 years, which means the bulk of my current collection is junk era wax that includes a good number of HOF players as well as commons. I'd love to trade those to people that are looking to complete sets or collect their favorite team and/or player.

My personal collection is focused on Andre Dawson, Kirby Puckett, Dylan Cease, and any other White Sox (current or retired) players.

I have also started a new project to collect the 1975 Topps Chicago White Sox cards and added a few players with smaller card runs to my PC: Julio Cruz, Ron Karkovice, and Rudy Law.

Prefer to do smaller trades via PWE but am open to bigger trades too. Not looking to buy cards right now until I reduce volume on cards outside of my PC.

TCDB Rankings as of April 11, 2023:

  • Andre Dawson - #9
  • Dylan Cease - #3
  • Julio Cruz - #1
  • Kirby Puckett - #527
  • Ron Karkovice - #1
  • Rudy Law - #1
  • Chicago White Sox - #799

*** Update - April 11, 2023 ***

I have now initiated the quest to begin set building and my focus will initially be on completing the Topps Flagship sets from the 1980's that I began collecting as a kid.

When proposing or reviewing trades, I am mostly looking for base for base trades. Trade offers skewed towards requesting parallels, inserts, SPs, etc. for a larger quantity of base will most often be countered or declined. I am open to cross-decade trades too, meaning I will send newer base for junk era base or vice versa depending on what we each need. Open to trades of all sizes that meet these criteria.

For vintage cards (pre-1980 for my purposes), I only trade vintage for vintage.

Thank you for reading and look forward to trading!

  • I'll trade my few football and basketball cards for cheap if you want em!

  • FYI-- When adding new cards to my FS/T list, Ive decided to stop worrying about a lot of minor variants from the early 90's, such as the Donruss "." variants, Upper Deck hologram variants, and various copyright code variants.  If you want a specific VAR in a trade, please ask at the time of the trade and I'll make sure I've got the one you need.  I worried about it for a long time so most are entered correctly.   Thanks for understanding.

Let's say we match on 100 cards. There are a fair amount of stars, commons, high value stuff. It can be definitely time consuming to add for both sides. Add what you are looking for from me and add 1 or more cards from your side and send it over to me. I can fill in the blanks to make that trade work for me. If you want to counter the trade feel free to do that so it works for you. I would hope for a fair amount of give and take dealing with common and star cards. Commons arent very valuable to me going to or coming from me. Just saying. If we can do a larger trade for more cards why wouldnt we?  This may not be everyone's ideal way to trade but I figure we get a lot more accomplished that way. if you want to do all commons on one end and all stars on another let's do that. Thanks.

AGAIN: I don't value common cards very highly whether they are mine or yours. you give me 20 i will give you 20.    I will counter 90 % of the time.  I'm a set collector working on sets. Volume trades are always welcome

I have decided to ship only 1 day a week because it's easier for me. single card trades will be the same day.

I TRADE A LOT ON HERE AND SOMETIMES I END UP TRADING CARDS THAT I DONT OWN ANY MORE. IF THIS HAPPENS I WILL LET YOU KNOW SO I CAN REPLACE IT. IF I DONT RECEIVE A RESPONSE IN 4 DAYS I WILL SEND YOU RANDOMS ON YOUR WANTLIST TO COMPENSATE AND THAT'S IT

BIG SHOUT OUT TO MY FELLOW TRADERS WHO CONTINUE TO BE FAIR, CONSISTENT AND UNDERSTANDING. YOU ALL MAKE MY EXPERIENCE HERE GREAT.

I missed the forum post about bobscardz and his banishment. I would have voted NO because he hasn't even tried to send me my end of the cards he got from me. He marked it as problem and never fixed it ever since he left his UNWARRANTED negative against me. He is a spiteful, hateful internet scammer as far as I can see. I am not perfect but I make up for my mistakes. my 2 cents.

Only really collect sets. No single player collections or themes. Finishing off my sets from the 90s, when I last collected, but also taking the plunge into some recent stuff.
There are an overwhelming number of modern subsets and insert sets out there.

Currently collecting:

Baseball:  1993 Topps Gold (now over 99%, marathon, not a sprint), 1995 UD & Special Edition, 1996 UD & Lovero inserts.

2021/2022/2023 Topps Flagship and Update Series and some inserts sets.

2020 Topps Heritage. Couldn’t resist the first set I collected as a kid. The originals are long gone but the memory isn’t.

Basketball:  1993-94 UD Future Heroes, 1994-95 & Jordan Heroes, 1995-96, 1996-97, & 1997-98 Upper Deck.

Football:   Trying to figure out what modern sets to collect. Meantime, 1994 Upper Deck Pro Bowl inserts.

Hockey:  1994-95 Upper Deck SP, 1995-96, 1996-97 UD Superstar Showdown, 2021-22 UD base and Honor Roll/Black Diamond Retro inserts.

The new Tim Horton’s sets.

Nonsports:  2023 Topps Obi-Wan Kenobi. Watched the series with my daughter and really reminded me of being in the theatre in 1977.

I mostly trade but also buy and sell. The central challenge is to get the right cards to the right people. If cards don't arrive, I do my best to make it right. PWE preferred, multiple if necessary.

726 completed trades and counting...

Thanks to all who have participated worldwide. It really is amazing to see your collection evolve.

**I recently added all my extra Twins cards, 1961-1980, to my trade list.  These cards range from very nice to very poor condition.  If you are interested in trading for any of these cards, I will describe them as best I can before I accept a transaction proposal, and I'll be happy to text or email you a picture of the card(s) you are requesting.**

After 8 years on the site, I finally decided to expand my profile.  As my user name suggests, I am a collector of all things Minnesota Twins, and Kirby Puckett is the top player I collect.  Whenever I pick up a Twins card, the hunt is on to complete that Twins team set.  I currently have well over 4,000 Twins team sets, cataloged in 50 binders, while several hundred more team sets are a work in progress.  It is a great feeling finishing off a team set, finding that last card that sometimes took years to locate.

A note about trading:  Even though they may show up on my wantlist (I try to delete them whenever I see them), I am generally not interested in all the variations (dot or not dot, one or two asterisks, Copyright D or E, etc.), unless they are Puckett cards.

I am currently ranked #1 in TCDB for Twins cards.. My top ten Twins cards are (with current TCDB ranking):

  • 1.  Kirby Puckett (4th)
  • 2.  Joe Mauer (4th)
  • 3.  Torii Hunter (3rd)
  • 4.  Harmon Killebrew (2nd)
  • 5.  Justiin Morneau (5th)
  • 6.  Byron Buxton (1st)
  • 7.  Chuck Knoblauch (2nd)
  • 8.  Rod Carew (3rd)
  • 9.  Miguel Sano (1st)
  • 10.  Kent Hrbek (3rd)
  • 34.  Tony Oliva (1st)  I added Tony because he was my favorite player growing up.   What a thrill it was to see him go into the HOF!  I see him every year at spring training.  What a great gentleman and ambassador for the game!
  • I also dabble in Vikings cards, but now that they have disappointed me again, I'll probably ease off but feel free to offer me any Vikings cards I don't have.

Feel free to shoot me a trade proposal--small, medium, or large--and I'll follow up as soon as possible. I am usually quick to respond, but I can get busy during the work week. Trading commons for commons, stars for stars, RCs for RCs, etc....you know the drill.

My collecting interests include:

  • Set Building
  • Minnesota Twins
  • Brian Dozier (#1 rank on TCDB)

NOTE: I have various Chrome/Finest/Prizm cards on my wantlist. I will trade for them. But please don't offer them (or send them) if they are all scratched up. If you store these types of cards loose (without penny sleeve), then they are most likely scratched up. But if you store them sleeved, then we are good to go. I am not going to be putting them under a microscope and I am not expecting gem mint; I simply want nicely cared for cards.

PC includes:

  • Topps Base Set card for all HOF players *Completed: Puckett, Sandberg, Gwynn, Ripken, Larkin, Thomas, Glavine, Smoltz, R.Johnson, Pedro, Hoffman, Guerrero, Chipper, Edgar & Mussina
  • Topps Base Set card for my personal projected potential HOF players
  • Topps Base complete set builds (currently 1977-present) *Completed: 1982, 1984-1993, 1999, 2019 & 2022
  • One of each Topps Cubs card ever produced, starting with base from 77-present - I've got a LONG way to go;-)

IN TRADES: I prefer to trade my dupes for cards I need from the same set or within a few years each way, but I do make trades all the time that violate that preference. Generally speaking, my cards are in pack fresh condition. I pack and ship carefully, and expect that we all do in this community. If a particular card of mine is NOT in pack fresh condition, I try very hard to note that with a condition indicator, and when possible, a note about what the defect(s) is(are). In these cases, comparable condition in return is of course acceptable. When making trades without those exceptions, I am looking for cards in the following conditions.

  • Pre 1975 - Probably would be ok with VG. Dinged corners acceptable, but not rips, tears, completely rounded corners, creases, or significant wax/gum stains. Centering no worse than 85/15.
  • 1975-1981 - OK with EX or better. No rounded corners, No creases, No gum/wax stains, no worse than 75/25 centering.
  • 1982-1991 - Has to be at least EX-MT. Centering 80/20 minimum.
  • 1992-present - Looking for NrMt or better.

I'm aware that we all judge our cards a bit differently, but I subscribe to the general notion that a card's "grade" should be based on the entire package, e.g. a 75/25 off center card could have scalpel sharp corners and great color, so might suffice as better than the off-center defect would hurt it. I own fewer than 10 slabbed/graded cards, so more interested in the card's aesthetic appeal than the grade it might receive.

Finally, trade value does not have to be even to the penny. I'd like to move my cards in which I am less interested into the hands of fellow collectors who would value tham more than I do, and I hope that those I trade with feel the same. As much as my heart wants Beckett to be the guide it was when I grew up in the early 80s, I tend to use sold comps from the prior 90 days on eBay where those comps exist to come up with value when necessary, but when trading commons, 1 for 1 generally works for me.

This is a hobby, and I am in it for the joy of collecting. It doesn't mean I wouldn't take some cash for a card that someone else will love more than I do, but "breaking even" is the ideal. When in doubt, shoot me a message and let's see what we can work out.

Thanks!

I am focused totally on Yankees base cards. My goal is a base team set from 1951 to present for Topps, all base Yankee team sets for Allen and Ginter, Gypsy Queen, Heritage, Archives. I am also looking for all Yankees in the odd ball food sets Kelloggs, Drake, Burger King and SSPC and any other odd balls that seem cool.

I am open to all trades. I am loading cards almost daily to my For Trade/Sale list. I really prefer trade over selling.
My for trade/Sale list is as accurate as I can make it with respect to variations, I find it tough to differentiate some of these. I check the photos on TCDB and do my best. If, at any time during a trade, you did not get what you expected, let's work it out to make it right.

My goal remains get rid of all cards so I can build base Yankee team sets.

I tend to ship on Saturdays and Mondays.

Priority of my want lists:
1 - Any and all Phillies cards (almost anything not in my collection is a "want")
2 - Various set ventures (baseball - 1972 Topps, 2016 Topps Chrome, Archives, Heritage sets, then hockey sets)
3 - Baseball HOFers (1980s)
4 - Baseball HOFers (1970s)
5 - Baseball HOFers (1990s)
6 - Baseball HOFers (other decades)

If there are any other categories of want lists, they would fall between set completion and HOFers.

I added approx. 90,000 cards available for trade in early 2023.

[The next section has been updated on 10/25/2023]

Note: Currently transactions are OFF.

When I have transaction requests turned on, trade proposals will be handled in the order in which they are received. I am continuing to take it slow because I don't have the time or patience to take on too many trades at once. Additionally, I have found that it makes it easier on both sides because the cards are known to be available. And please, when we do trade, please make it so that the postage to/from your location to mine makes a trade worthwhile for both of us. Thank you.

Please also note that I am very much open to selling in addition to trading. If you see stuff you want and don't have anything in return, that's okay. We'll work out a deal that will be fair for both of us, not just me (and not just you, please). (The listings over at the SwamiLee account are in my possession and I am also selling those. The only sport left there is baseball.)

Hey all! Like a lot of guys, I was a collector in the early 90s, stepped away for a while and then came back in 2018 (and even harder in 2020 during the pandemic) to rediscover my love for this hobby.

I'm a set builder through and through; with the exception of Barry Sanders, I don't PC any particular players, and I don't care about inserts, parallels, parallels to inserts, autos, relics, etc. I trade those as soon as I get them. The base set is king, always has been. I'm not an investor, just a collector having fun.

As for trades: I check this site daily, respond quickly to offers and ship quickly. I think it's reasonable, on a site dedicated to trading, that others will do the same, so if you log on and don't bother to check your trade offers within a couple days, I'll move on. Communication is so easy and quick on here, so if you need more time, that's fine. Just talk to me and we'll work it out. I've done 950+ trades and still have a 100% rating because I care. PWE is preferred on both sides, though anything above 36 cards (two PWEs) usually goes in a bubble mailer.

Sets: I'm a Topps guy who recently finished building out all the base sets from 1983-2023. Working currently on a couple of Chrome and Update sets. Being a junk wax guy, I always have a soft spot for those early 90s sets (nearly every set from 1993 is beautifully designed and underrated, and I'll die on this hill; seriously, revisit Leaf, Donruss, Flair, Fleer and Upper Deck from that year; they hold up). I don't really care about vintage cards either, so anything prior to 1983 generally gets traded right away.

Look forward to working with you all of you and having fun in this hobby!

Primarily a baseball card collector. Currently living abroad but am able to trade through domestic (US) mail. I'm interested in too many cards that aren't on my Wantlist, but I'll probably give preference to the following.

Tier 1

  • Cal Ripken (1981-2001)

Tier 2

  • Orioles (Brooks, Frank, Boog, Palmer, Murray, Mussina, Machado, Mountcastle, Rutschman, Grayson, etc.)
  • Vlad Guerrero (Expos)
  • Ichiro (Mariners)
  • Derek Jeter
  • Juan Soto

Tier 3

  • Unique baseball or football cards of players from Hawaii
  • Hall of Famers (70s-90s)
  • Current Players (Acuna, Shohei, Vlad Jr., Greinke, Tatis, Trout)
  • Possible Starter Sets (1997 Bowman, 1998 Stadium Club)

WIll send all trades via protected PWE unless otherwise agreed upon prior to accepting a trade.

I'm a set builder... mostly Bowman, Heritage, Heritage Minor Leagues and Pro Debut.

Main PC Thurman Munson... trying to collect one of each card... Currently sitting at #4 of top collector on this site and trying to get to #1... any help greatly appreciated.

Secondary PC: Jonathan India... trying to collect one of each card

Third PC - RCs from various players

Any football, hockey, golf, basketball on my trade list will be traded for baseball as I don't collect those but do come across every now and then.

All Canadian trades will ship pwe due to cost.   Junk wax era cards, not spending to much time on looking if they're variation or not, i.e. 90 donruss with @leaf, border, inc

As for something fun to do, trying to complete a trade with someone from each state.  Currently still looking for trading partners in the following states:

DE /  LA / ME / NM  / VT

Effective 6-12-23

FYI Due to family and work, cards will be mailed out once a week on Monday morning, no matter when the deal was made.
