Stopped building sets in 09 and now have stopped chasing SFGiants/49ers in 2019. But still have lots of wants. Due to a generous divorce court had to return to work, so trading is still important to me but now pulling and mailing can only be done on fridays and saturdays.

Collecting all Topps Baseball base sets from 1956 to 2020.

Complete Topps sets (as of 03/22/23):  1974 through 2020

I'm in remission with esophageal cancer, learning how to use my 'new plumbing' after an esophagectomy, several discectomies and spinal fusion surgery, new scars on my face from trying to make it look better by passing out and falling face first on a hardwood floor (didn't work, but cool scars!) and, worst of all, adjusting to life on my own since my collecting partner, best friend, and wife died (of course from f$#*&^g cancer)! So, this is really all I have left....LET'S TRADE!!!

If I have something on my ForSale/Trade list that you need and you have nothing to trade me, I am more than willing to sell most cards on my FS/T list at a very, very reasonable price...especially to fellow set collectors!

VAR's: Hate them, but I get it...some people want every card in a set including different variations. I do the best I can in identifying all the different variations and listing them correctly. However, if it's important to you to get a specific variation in a trade, please let me know that so I can be sure I have the correct one for you.

3/1/2023:  Currently not trading.  Plan to resume trading later this spring.

Eager to resume trading in 2023 after essentially taking 2022 off.

I collect for pleasure.  My collection focuses primarily on teams and players that have meaning to me and often carry a sense of nostalgia.  When I resumed collecting in 2017, after a 20 year hiatus, I assumed I could attempt to collect everything.  Big mistake.  As a result, my Want List is vast, but my true priorities are as follows:

  • Former Michigan Wolverines.  Basically, anyone who played basketball or football at Michigan since the mid-80s.  Chris Webber and Charles Woodson are my #1a and #1b targets.
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo and members of the 2020-21 Bucks title team
  • Members of the 2010, 2013, and 2015 Blackhawks Stanley Cup teams
  • Alabama Crimson Tide football players from 2005 to present
  • 1990s basketball cards - hoping to complete sets from the Bulls dynasty years
  • Garbage Pail Kids specifically of Pete (Peter, Petey, etc), Harper, and Owen

As far as trading, I try to keep it as simple as possible:

  • Keep shipping costs to a minimum.  Big PWE fan.  Also a fan of the "cereal box" for larger trades.
  • Try to make it cost-effective.  Trading two junk wax commons is not worth the cost of the stamp to me.
  • Try to keep it "fair" (base-for-base, insert/parallel-for-insert/parallel)
  • If your offer consists primarily of cards from the areas in which I am most interested, I will likely accept without hesitation.   Otherwise, I will review your For Trade offerings and counter with cards I would prefer.
  • Happy to trade internationally, but the cards need to justify the added shipping cost

Thank you and happy collecting.

Aloha to all!

*****************************************

Inventory levels are at nice, comfortable levels, as several  hundred cards were doled out to the kids last year but I was happily able to acquire many many more over the past couple years. Would like to make a little more headway on completing my vintage sets, as they took a back seat to picking up modern cards for the kids.  So please let me know if you have any of my '69-'76 needs and are ready to trade. Since all the kids are clamoring for Ohtani and my inventory levels are pretty good for most everything else, I will try to pick up as many affordable Ohtanis you are willing to trade away, then expand any trade from there.

******************************************

It has been a wonderful, busy, and fulfilling few years here!  In the past, I had to get creative in order to generate interest amongst my various little leaguers.  As most of my inventory consisted of players’ cards from before most of the kids were born.  Thanks to the traders here, Ive been able to distribute a bountiful amount of cards to the kids accompanied by a huge amount of joy!

Although the Altuve/Judge card (18T Update #79) has become too pricey to give to all of my Little Leaguers, it still remains one of my favorites. It looks just like a pic I have of 2 12-yr olds on one my former teams.  It’s a great inspirational card for the smaller kids.  Similarly, I can use an unlimited supply of Jim Abbott cards. Most every kid has a bad day in the field at some point in a season, practices/games..., so I’ll give them an Abbott card and ask them to look closely at it to tell me what they see (so no portrait poses or cards where it's hard to see he's missing a hand). Have yet to find a kid that isn't amazed!

------------------------------------------------

Slowly transitioning out of football and basketball to focus on baseball.  Primarily building sets from childhood days, working my way back in time. Current primary focus is on completing 1968, 1969, 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1976 Topps baseball sets. I will always consider trading my 80s/90s inventory for modern all-star cards, I give them away to the 5-14 yr old kids on the little league teams I coach here in Hawaii.  But since we don’t have MLB here, the young kids won’t recognize the names unless they’re all-stars or Kolten Wong/Kiner-Talefa/Ohtani(I coached a couple seasons with Kolten/Kean's uncle and Isiah’s dad).  I basically use the tcdb pricing to balance out trades, not due to any preference, but for lack of anything else. I've heard alot of static about others trumpeting COMC, eBay, & Beckett, which is perfectly ok/understandable, but in almost every case, when referring to tcdb their trades come out heavily in their favor(have yet to see one the other way around).  I’m pretty open to all trades, but like trades to be fairly reasonable.  If a trade involves cards with large discrepancies in pricing, please don't be offended.  Point them out, and the trade can be adjusted or cards removed.

For those of you like me with monster boxes of 80’s/90’s, I will trade for multiples of 12-18 of HOFers or team/all-time record holders (as long as I can ask the little leaguers a relevant trivia question so the card can be a reward). Just message me, as I would not list such cards on my wantlist.

For traders who are missing 1 or 2 cards after accepting a trade, please make an effort to substitute with something similar.

I am not accepting any trades at this time.  I am in a position that I feel I need to begin selling off my collection. I am moving towards selling off my whole collection but I am only posting the higher value cards right now.  If you see something you like, whether its in a collection or on my FS&T list, feel free to make me an offer.  For most commons, I am asking for $0.18 per card, which is the Sportlots minimum price.  I will leave the rest of my profile as is just in case something changes and I don't need to sell everything off.

If you accept an offer from me, I will strive to ship within 24 hours.  I will also try to respond to offers within 48 hours and, if it will take longer than that to pull the cards, I will do my best message you within 48 hours.

I have done my best to list the conditions per the PSA grading scale if I consider them less than EX-MT.  I do not profess to be proficient at grading.  If I think a card is less than EX-MT and it is not marked as such, I will do my best to let you know in the message.

Thank you for taking a look.

Small trades for things such as SNs, autos, relic, etc are welcome. I prefer larger trades for straight up commons/base set stuff. I typically like to trade similar quality and quantity. Generally speaking, quantity for quality trades will be declined.

**PWE** I've had very few issues shipping PWE. This is my preferred method especially for trades involving commons and base set cards. If we're making a trade for higher end cards and we both feel it would be best to mail in a bubble mailer, that's fine. If that's not something agreed upon before shipment, it will be a PWE (sometimes multiple) coming from my end. I feel comfortable sending 24 cards in a #10 PWE, so for larger trades you may receive multiple PWEs from me. In this scenario, I will clearly number each envelope on the outside and provide you with a list (in a transaction message) of what is in each envelope.

I generally try to get to the post office one weekday and one weekend day each week. But, due to the nature of the demands of my work schedule, trades will mainly be mailed out either Saturday or Sunday.

I'm having difficulties with the site. Constant 403s, probably because the ADMINs banned my forum access [not my fault] and blocked all contacts. Trading is a very slow process, using only PMs, I'm always here, just very slow going. Hopefully the new website [see1a] will help communication.

~THE BIG PICTURE is UNDER CONSTRUCTION and has begun. ~

STEP 1 - Sort and organize all cards, physically and onsite. Makes all trades much easier. Also changing my signoff from ~bob~ to just Bob

**NOTE: I have Donruss '87-'92, Fleer '91-92, Topps Big '88 and '89, Leaf '93 and other multi variation sets. 50+ monster boxes, sorted by number, but not by variations. If you collect these, send me a list, I'll look them up, and pull, and trade or sell.

THE TRADING POLICY ***New July 2022***

When my Trading is on, the following policy has to be followed. The T/S list inventory is extremely large and varied. So here is the order that I approach trades:

1.     Small , 1 set trades. [@  25 cards]

2.     Medium to Large, 1 set trades [@25-100 cards]

3.     Small mixed sets [2-3 sets, @ 20 cards]

4.     Medium to Large mixed sets are extremely difficult to complete in a timely manner. I won’t decline them but will work on them slowly and push them to the end of the offers.

**5. Sometimes I will push special requests ahead, If I feel I can finish quickly.

I will message you as soon as I see a new offer with a possible timeline. If you  wish to withdraw, I understand. If you are OK, I will accept the offer after I check my cards. Thanks for your understanding, if I don’t prioritize this way, no trades will get done.

March Update

3/21/23 - I just found my original 1981 Topps baseball cards (Doubles) and added to the the trade list. These I originally pulled and stored all of these years. They are in good shape with some soft corners. No tears, creases etc.  Looking to trade for other 1981 cards I am missing. I am still working on Baseball Topps 1976 and 1978 this month.

I just received 500 1978 Topps Baseball from my neighbor (Attic Find). The top cards and commons that I needed already pulled. I do have a significant amount of common cards with some All Stars sprinkled in - all in various conditions that I am happy to trade.

Happy to consider any trades to help me complete. btw I am not picking about condition. Happy to entertain cards that are not the best in condition either to help me with my sets.

thank you!

thanks.

Any and all Braves cards from 1954 - Present (RIP Hank Aaron).

I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

Willing to trade just about anything for Braves cards......

Love to trade - a few cards to hundred,  (really like 10-18 card PWE )

^^^^^^^^^^^^^   Its common sense, what's it going to cost me to buy, both sides the trade. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I love old cardboard - Started as a kid collecting in 1974, buying and opening packs with my cousin ( who later in life gave me all his 74 and 75s.  It was all about finding any Aaron cards when ripping open a pack that year.                                                ((ORIOLES FAN, VIKINGS & PANTHERS FAN))

Mainly Vintage Baseball - 1973 and older - (working on second 74-80 sets - looking EX or better for these)

***If your trading me any 1974 Topps baseball, basketball, or football the condition is not too important. Don't send me trash but a equal grading of 2 or Poor is acceptable with no paper damage such as tears or missing pieces of cards. Soft corners are acceptable.****

Topps Flagship Sets and Phillies

I prefer to send smaller trades PWE when possible to keep the cost down. I try to keep the PWE's to at most 27 cards.  I get weary of the thickness in those sometimes, but haven't had any issues yet(KNOCK ON WOOD).  I'll gladly send two PWE's if the trade warrants it. Obviously not possible for thicker cards or more expensive cards.  Bulk trades are welcomed if the value is there.

Currently #14 in Unique Phillies cards...looking to move up the ladder. My goal is to crack the top 5 by 2024, and eventually take the top spot. Help me out!!!

I like to trade base for base, insert for insert, S/N for S/N, etc.  just so both sides seem to be getting a fair deal.  However, there are times when I will trade outside these parameters if it makes sense.  Just don't send me 50 base cards for a $20 card.

                           ******TRADING TURNED OFF RIGHT NOW********

Still doing some small ones, message if you want to do one. I have been very busy as of late so it may take me awhile to get back/complete a trade. If you want to trade with me please be patient.

                                     PLEASE READ BELOW

A bit of everything: Right now extreme sports (surfing, skateboarding, etc.), females in sports, and Americana.

UPDATE: 12/2022 1989 Donruss varients should be correct just went through and redid the whole lot.

I am a hobby collector. All of my cards have been handled except unopened packages. I get my cards from many sources, yard sales, second hand stores, private collectors. A few of my cards are in near mint condition, a few of my cards are in well traded condition and some are in poor. Some have bumped corners, rough edges and the such, or manufacturing defects, I do not typically mark these in the database. I also have not gone and rechecked all my old Donruss yet for the variations. If I have a card w/any sort of major defect I trade them as set fillers for free with any other transaction.

A lot of my cards come to me in penny sleeves and some of them I do not remove before trade, I just look at them so I might miss something. If there is a major defect that I notice, I will let you know.  If I have time, I will put the major defects in the notes when I add the cards to the database.

I am not a professional grader. I do not believe in "mint" unless the card has never been handled. I have a hard time interpreting the various explanations and definitions of the conditions of cards; if I mark a card as "good" it could vary from slightly better to worse.

If I trade with you and you feel the card isn't in acceptable condition, and I didn't tell you or mark it as so in the database, please let me know and I will try my best to rectify the issue.

I am not against trading 1 card for a bunch of cards or vice versa as long as the trade is fair on both sides.

I do not rely solely on the prices on here. I have learned they can be somewhat unreliable. I check a variety of other sources as well, and suggest you do the same. (This mainly goes for big ticket items or cards that seem off to me).

I ship PWE unless otherwise requested.

If the condition of the card is of utmost importance, please let me know.

***UPDATE***

Thank you, everyone, for being patient with my lack of communication the past few weeks.  My family is dealing with a very serious illness with my mother-in-law and it has involved several trips out of town for me and my wife to help with the situation.  Everything but work has been put "on hold" but hopefully, we are beginning to see enough improvement that I can get caught up on my communications and trades with my tcdb friends.  I have really enjoyed getting to know so many awesome people.

I've been very blessed in my trades and transactions here on TCDB. Thank you to all. I will trade vintage for modern and vice versa as long as there is roughly equal value felt on both sides. I am a set builder and collecter. I do not speculate on my cards for future value. I do this for fun, not for profit. I will sell, but only to build a small bank of money to use for buying cards I can't trade for. I've traded hundreds of cards each way and I've done many 1 for 1 trades, so no trade is too big or small for me.

In packaging, I use painter's tape ONLY. I try to use a photo mailer for small trades of about a dozen or less.  I use #10 PWE for trades up to about 2 dozen cards and maybe 2 PWE for 4 dozen.  After 50 cards, I typically will use a bubble mailer with tracking.  If it is 200 or more cards, they will likely be in a box well padded.

Thanks to all the great traders on this site!  Years ago I purchased 3 - 1983 Topps Vending boxes not close to a complete set & thought I just settle for the stars.  In a little over a year I completed the set today (12/8).  Plus I've made over 70 Yankees team sets from 1980 - present.

----------

Been collecting sports cards (off and on) for over 50 years.  Back in the hobby after about 10 years away. Adding cards as I get a chance, many still in storage.  Willing to sell or trade.  Also have many unopened 2021 products - Topps and Donruss.

Completed 2022 Topps Series 1.  Kudos to Topps only took one hobby box and I got 315 of  330 with only 1 double. I got the last 15 through 3 trades!

Completed  2022 Topps Series 2.

Completed 2021 Topps Series 1, Series 2, & Update Base Sets. Lots of doubles to trade.

Completed 2021 Topps Gallery set and 2021 Donruss Baseball only need 263 & 264 so maybe I'm done.

Looking to complete Yankee sets from 1980s to present .

Favorite team (obviously): Yankees

3/9/23 Update >>> Reorganization is going well and I'm adding lots of cards.  But I'm going to need another two weeks or so to complete.  Thanks, Craig

2/20/23 Update >>> I need to take a break from trading to better organize my collection.  I hope this will only take 2-3 weeks.  I'll be back trading soon.  Craig

I’ve been collecting cards for over 46 years and have over 443,000 unique cards in my main collection, including some nice vintage stuff.  I collect older cards of the four major sports but lately I've been expanding to some more recent sets.  I'm primarily a Set Builder and I’m looking for other like-minded set builders to trade with.   I’ve accumulated tons of extra cards that I would like to trade away with almost 250,000 cards in my current For Trade list.  Big trades don't bother me. I have a huge Want List, so hopefully you have something I need.  Feel free to make me an offer.

For Canadian Traders: It's expensive for me to trade across the border.  Going forward I would like to limit cross border trades to two (2) PWEs. That's about 54 standard-size cards.  Thanks.

For Anyone Outside US/Canada: The increased postal rates have made it impossible for me to trade outside North America cheaply.  So going forward I will have to decline trades from outside US/Canada.  Sorry about that.

Update on Donruss/Leaf * Variations and Upper Deck Holo Variations:
I can't guaranty the junk wax era Donruss/Leaf cards and the UD holo variations are listed with the correct variation.  Going forward I will no longer check the variations on these cards.  If you want these cards regardless of the variations, feel free to request them in the trade.  Howver, If you want a specific variation of these cards, I'm no longer your guy - please don't put them in the trade request.  For all other cards that have variations, I will contniue to check and make sure you get the correct one.

Note on Vintage Cards:
I have over 6,000 vintage cards listed for trade (I consider vintage to be 1977 or earlier).  For each card I've noted a condition grade and if you check closer, a note on each regarding any condition issues (be sure to select the correct one if multiple cards are shown).  Please note that I'm by no means a professional grader and if you're hyper-sensitive on card condition, please message me first and I'd be happy talk about it.  In exchange for these cards I have three priorities:

  • 1) similar vintage cards that I need (any sport)
  • 2) inserts for my 90s sets that I need (any sport)
  • 3) or non-junk era base cards that i need as a last resort (any sport)

Note on Card ConditionA card noted as Pr, Fr, Gd, or GdVg will have some obvious condition issues such as creasing, corner wear, or marks.  I would consider them place holders in a collection at best (I've listed them because some people do want place holders).  A VG card will usually be a clean card with some corner wear or a centering issue.  For me, VG would be the bare minimum for my personal collection.  EX will be nice sharp card and VgEx will be something just between VG and Ex, still a nice card with a small issue that prevents it from being EX.  NM in vintage is a tough find.

Came across tcdb.com towards the end of 2019, and I just completed transaction #1,200!  Love everything about this site.  I have met so many cool people from all over the Country, and even a few from Canada and beyond. (Just completed a trade to Finland, as a matter of fact).

Stole this from another member, but......my goal is to have zero cards in my For Sale/Trade List.  So keep the proposals comin'!

My PC list is as follows (with TCDB rankings as of 3/15/2023):

NBA: Giannis (4), Dirk Nowitzki (4), and Tim Duncan (3).  (I also unofficially collect MJ , Kobe, & Larry Bird).

NFL: Sterling Sharpe (5), and Don Majkowski (2).

MLB: Aaron Ashby (1), Roberto Clemente (1), Jackie Robinson (2), Robin Yount (7), Tony Gwynn (7), Hal Morris (3), Mark Grace (7), Ethan Small (1), Pat Listach (1), Corbin Burnes (1) and Mark Langston (1).

WWE: Lita (6).

(Although I currently live in Florida, I was born in Milwaukee.....hence my obsession with Wisconsin sports teams.  Ha)

Please check out my For Sale/Trade list, and feel free to message me or send me trade proposals any time.....let's see what we can get done!  (I don't necessarily trade based on "book value", but rather the value to me, so please feel free to counter if I propose a trade that you feel is unfair.  I also have no rules about "insert for insert" or any of that nonsense, so don't be shy to shoot me a proposal)

Turning trading back on. Please don't send lopsided offers. I am not interested in trading 1 sapphire top prospect for 5 quarter commons. I am a set collector, but I can get modern commons anywhere so please just try to keep that in mind. I'm pretty flexible, but please ask yourself if you would take the trade you offer. My wantlist is nowhere near complete for my Cubs and player collections so I have no problem taking a look at your tradelist even if there aren't any matches initially. Just send a note along with the trade. My set needs are up to date on my wantlist. Thanks for the hundreds of great trades already!

Chicago Cubs. US Women's National Team Soccer. Chicago Red Stars. Chicago Sky.

Top priority player PCs right now are Willson Contreras and Kyle Hendricks.

Trading PWE is fine with me - no trade too small. Trades of up to around 18 cards or less will ship PWE unless they are higher value, thick, or by request. If you want a bubble mailer just ask!

I don't collect unlicensed cards for the most part - sorry!

If there is any football, basketball, non-sport etc. on my trade list, I will happily trade it for baseball. I don't really collect those cards they just end up in my collection when I buy lots.

Trading with the US and Canada only at the moment to keep shipping down.

I will sell any cards on my FS/T list as well. Either shoot an offer or a wantlist and I will get you a price.

(IMPORTANT) I had to add this statement since being ripped off three times on large trades: Should you be a first time trader with me and no matter how many great feeback notes or how many digits your total trading number is I will insist you mail first and provide a tracking number that will be verified prior to my shipping your cards. I have lost over 2000 cards due to dishonest people on this site and it stops here and now. THIS IS NOT PERSONAL TO ANYONE it is just my way of protecting my product when trading! Again, to those easily offended traders, spoken in the words of the Capo: "Its not personal Sunny, it's just good business."

I trade for EX/MT to MT cards. Filling Baseball/Football sets. I have some Basketball and Hockey to trade for Football/Baseball. Fair value trades only! No 91 junk for 70s! All mistakes will be made right. I keep my stock in good condition and inform trade partners of defects. I'll expect same in return.

My Steeler and Pirate binders always have empty pages to fill. I also collect Tony Gwynn! Hit me up with a trade proposal and we'll see if we can get it done.

10/10/22 Update:

I have moved again and have decided to turn trades back on. Trading cards are not my first priority though so be patient as I get back into the hobby.

My focus is going to be on completing sets from 1993 back. A note about the Topps sets from 1976-1980. I am building duplicate sets for 76-78 and four sets each for 79 & 80 and would make trades for near complete sets if this is un anybodies interest.

Again, I appreciate trade offers but caution you that they may take some time to fill.

Happy trading,

Hal

These are the sets I am currently focusing on:

Starter Sets for 52-58 and 60-67 would be lovely.

I love this Database and its Community!  I build Baseball sets and collect ALL Colorado Rockies (especially Helton, Blackmon, and Freeland).  I also collect Dizzy Dean, Ted Williams, Bo Jackson, and Scott Elarton (who I grew up playing ball with).  I also collect Garbage Pail Kids of all years and series, car cards, Desert Shield/Storm and other Military/War cards.  I really enjoy helping out fellow set builders and I’m willing to trade commons at two/three for one to help build and/or complete sets.

Growing up and collecting in the "garbage era" (80s and 90s), I have plenty from that era to trade and still need some to finish my sets.  From there, I'm moving in both directions (back to vintage while trying to keep up with modern) to build and complete sets.  I had a 20-year period (1995-2015) where I didn't collect as I was in the Marine Corps and didn't have the time or focus for the hobby.  Now that I'm retired, I'm trying to play catch up.  When it comes to my vintage collection (vintage to me is older than me, i.e. 1976 and older), I’m not looking for pristine or gradable cards.  My goal is to have an “acceptable” looking card from each set (mostly centered, non-rounded or soft corners, no writing, no creases, no stains).  If it is acceptable for your collection, it’s probably acceptable for my collection.  If you have questions or concerns, let me know.

I love trying to extend the hobby into the future.  I spend time giving cards and supplies to kids as they are the future and it is my hope that they will enjoy the game of baseball and the hobby of collecting as much as I do.

I also have a fairly large collection of football, basketball, and hockey cards from the early 80s to today that are not in the data base.  I'd love to get these into the hands of a collector who can appreciate them.  If that's you, let’s talk!

I also love buying/trading in bulk.  I have purchased and/or traded for entire collections.  If this is you, let’s also talk!

***TEMPORARILY TURNED OFF TRADING: WILL RETURN SOON.***

***I Do Not Accept Unsolicited Offers to Buy Cards -- Trades Only***

I am a fan of the Washington Redskins and Atlanta Braves. I collected baseball cards (and some football cards) as a boy into my teens. I sold off my cards as a young adult who was an active alcoholic. [I have been sober since February 17, 1991.]

I re-started collecting cards in 2015 during a business trip to Sapporo, Japan. I went to a Nippon Ham Fighters game, and while transversing the gift shop as I was leaving the stadium, I came upon packs of 2015 BBM Nippon Ham Fighters baseball cards. I haven't stopped since...

I collect Japanese & US Pro Baseball -- particularly Boston/Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves.

Please feel free to send me a friend request here and on Facebook.

My collection is one that sparks joy to me. I have no rhythm or reason to it, each card brought joy to me and so it was added to the collection. My want list is cards that spark joy for me. My Want List is being re added to and will grow greatly over the next few weeks/months.

This hobby is my saving grace! I found it as a way to help my anxiety and the friendships I have made in this hobby are amazing! I truly appreciate everyone in this hobby!

I look forward to doing lots of trades here and getting these cards in your mailbox and collection where they belong!

One of my binder projects is a Topps Twins project and am mainly needing the vintage now, I am happy to add cards with character aka poor condition for the vintage cards. This project is to tell the story of the decades and what better way than to have character to the cards. That's for the vintage, I don't want 1990s cards that are rounded edges and ripped up.

My collection is valued at how much I'm smiling at the end of the day :)

I'm trying to liquidate the FST list, so let's trade with reasonable offers! It never hurts to ask for a little more.

I am building my 1971 topps baseball set right now. Looking for moderate condition (GD-VG-VGEX) and I will overtrade as I build my sets.

Yes: I'll buy (Venmo/Cashapp).
Yes: I'll sell (Venmo/Cashapp/Paypal).
Yes: I'll trade a huge pile of cards for a big ticket card.
Yes: I'll trade a big ticket card for a huge pile of cards.
Yes: I'll trade to Canada.
Yes: I'll trade vintage for new.
Yes: I'll trade new for vintage.
Yes: I'll trade between sports.
Yes: I'll probably throw that other card in too.

General Condition notes (unless otherwise noted. I'm happy to send photos if requested):
• 60s-70s-80s (G-VG-EX-EXMT)
• 80s-90s-00s (EX-EXMT-NRMT)
• 00s-10s-20s (EXMT-NRMT-MT)

Cards come from a smoke-free/pet-free/Subway-bread/patchouli free home. I like to think I have all the (.) and (*) variations catalogued, but let me know if these are critically important to you. I believe that I'm reasonably well organized, but there have been occasions where the database says I have a certain card, and I am unable to locate it in my collection. I apologize in advance for when that happens.

Sent trades to 45/50 states. All 50 before I die, maybe? Where are you, AK, LA, UT, VT, WY?

PC is Miguel Cabrera, Spencer Torkelson and Cal Eldred.

Open to trades or sales of my cards, but please look up the values on Beckett or Sportlots before you propose a trade to me. I will decline offers that are heavily weighted in your favor. If they are close I'm more likely to accept, or at least counter. I prefer larger trades versus smaller ones in order to offset the time and cost required to find the cards and ship them.

I started on a great endeavor at the beginning of the pandemic to complete Topps baseball sets from 1975 to 1985. I got about halfway through it and got burnt out on it. I'm going through my wantlists now to flip the uncompleted sets (1982, 78, 77, 76, and 75) to my 'For Sale/Trade' list

I will send most trades through Plain White Envelope (PWE), but for larger trades I'll send packages instead. Please let me know if you would prefer a different shipping arrangement when proposing a trade.

I collect baseball only. TRADES only, I do not buy or sell cards. I'm currently trading on a limited/sporatic basis due to taking care of elderly parents, work, etc.

I'm willing to trade any decade for 2023 Topps.

What I'm currently working on:

  • 2023 Topps
  • 2021 Topps 1965 Redux insert set
  • 2022 Topps Stars of MLB
  • Various Topps Insert Sets
  • PC Jose Altuve, Rickey Henderson, Randy Johnson, Justin Verlander (all brands)
  • Topps base cards of BBWAA Hall of Famers
  • Topps ASR
  • Pre-1980 Topps (set building; all years needed)

Please avoid shipping cards using "card savers." I've received so many damaged cards from trading partners cramming 2-3 cards into those things.

I'm a set builder at heart.  My recent focus has been on:

  • 1977 Topps: NrMt (mostly upgrades)
  • Gypsy Queen Inserts
  • 2012 Topps Update: 1987 mini's
  • 1993 Studio
  • 2019 Stadium Club
  • 1975 Topps: VgEx or better (early stage set build)
  • Will Clark and Alan Trammell PC

My want list reflects my set builds for 1960, 1975-1980 Topps, random major brand base sets from 80's and 90's, and a handful of sets and insert subsets from the last 10-15 years.  I also like Detroit Tigers cards and pc Will Clark, Alan Trammell, and Tony Gwynn cards from their playing days.

I like nice cards and will be upfront if anything I'm trading away wouldn't fit into my set builds.  I'm interested in VGEx or better for 1960 and 1975 Topps.  For 1976-79 Topps, I'm targeting NRMT sets but would be interested in anything ExMT or better and I'm looking for NRMT or better on anything 1980 to present.

11/16/22   -  I have turned off trading while I decide what parts of my collection that I keep and what I'll liquidate. If you see something that you need, send me a message.

Team Collectors - I have 1000's of pocket schedules from MLB, NBA, and some NFL, NHL, MiLB & College that I no longer collect. Let me know if you are interested in them to either trade for or buy.

I started collecting autographs and Mets stuff in the early 70s.  After a few years away from the hobby I'm getting back into it, and getting my existing sets back up to speed.

METS COLLECTION

-I have a near complete run of signed Mets Topps cards (Topps main set) from 1962 to 2006. I have 1,335 of the possible 1,379 cards signed from those years

- I'm also working on getting an autograph of every Mets player. I have 987 of the 1,111 players in Mets history

- Individual signed balls from Mets players on the 1962, 1969, 1973, 1986, 2015 teams

- I'm currently 2nd on the David Wright collection list with over 1,000 cards.

- I also collect Mets Yearbooks Programs, Tickets, Pins, Bobble Heads and just about anything Mets

HALL OF FAME COLLECTION

- I collect individual signed balls, Gold HOF Plaques, B&W HOF Plaques, Dexter Press Color HOF Plaques, Perez Steele Postcards, TCMA Baseball Immortls, Donruss HOF Heroes, cards, 8x10s and index cards

- I'm trying to get 1 card of every HOFer but I can only use 1 card from any set. For example once I used a 52 Topps Monte Irvin, that set became off limits to me for any other player.

CURRENT SETS (Signed and unsigned)

- I try to get the all the cards signed in the sets that I collect.

- 1985 Topps set COMPLETELY SIGNED

- 2001-2010 Topps Hertitage

- 2004 Bowman Heritage & Topps Cracker Jack

I'm slowly adding sets, traders and wants to the site. If you need something from my trader list but don't have anything on my wantlist, please reach out to me.

I'd rather trade, but I'm willing to listen to buy and sell offers as well.

I get dozens of trade matches a week, where collectors have common cards from the junk wax era on their wantlist but have nothing for me. If that's you, I'm willing to sell these cards for the cost of postage and a few bucks for my time.

I'm happy to make a 1 for 1 PWE trade for any of the SPs that need.

Thanks for reading

Bob

New York Mets. Some other things. Only looking for trades with Mets cards top priority/want.  Have some non-Mets in my wants just to fill out trades if needed.  Like larger trades, but smaller acceptable if there is not a lot matches. Going to keep it US only.  I have zero need for any of my non-baseball cards, so those can go pretty easily.

January 2023: going to organize the cards I got from trades over the last few months.  I won't turn off trades in case someone wants to start process, but probably won't get to respond until February.

Please note the following:

  • I prefer larger trades, I do not like to do 1-2 card trades to keep costs down.
  • Larger valued cards are mostly for sale. I have a few bigger value cards in my wants list, and would consider a 1 for 1 trade on those, but otherwise I will only sell the bigger cards.
  • I try to keep trades fair, and often trade in favor to fill my sets. My priorities are oldest to newest. So if you have something on your list that I need that is older, and offer me only the newest, I will most likely counter to fill my older sets first. If it is not for trade, let me know the price.

Cardinals Baseball any year any brand

Some Vintage Topps Baseball Set Building (in any condition).....

Also doing 9 page project of John Riggins (Football/Redskins), see want list, can use dupes of some.

Memphis Grizzlies basketball added to want list recently.

I have NOT separated my traders into dot and no dot variations (or letter variations).  If this matters to you, I do not mind checking for a particular one for your want list...

I do expect nm or better condition on 81-present cards (unless agreed upon lower condition in messages)  On vintage, I collect any condition except on upgrade lists.

If you do want to trade vintage, please be clear on what your condition requirements are....many of my extra vintage are in lower conditions..

Completed 2617+ trades with 604 different traders (in multiple groups) since 2005

Have lots of wants on my web page, not on this database

Everything in dupes collection is available for trade even if not in trade/sales list

I can only ship on weekends ....

Some of you may be frustrated that I turn off trades, but here is why:

I am in multiple trading groups, and simply do not have time to do more than 1 or 2 trades a week here.

Many times, the best way to trade with me is to PM about generally what you are looking for and I can respond timely if I have an 'opening' in my 1 or 2 trades per week (or get to you the following week or such)

I am open to offers if you want to buy although my primary focus is trading.

2011 Honorable Mention New Baseball Card Blog of the Year award winner.   Read by dozens (and long defunct) .

I'm a long time collector since the mid 80's, and now as I'm nearing the back half of my life, I'm trying to shape up my collection rather than just accumulating anything and everything.   Overall my main focuses are:

  • Topps Base Runs of HOF and Favorite Players- Every Topps Base card of a player from RC to last base Topps card
  • 1952 Bowman-  Trying to finish the set by 2025
  • Texas Rangers, Arkansas Razorbacks, NW Arkansas Naturals in general
  • Player PCs: Tony Gwynn, Darryl Strawberry, Michael Young, Wil Myers, Adrian Beltre

# 1 ranked collection on TCDB of Wil Myers, Parker Bridwell and Christian Colon

Trying to reach #1 on Michael Young, Ian Kinsler and Elvis Andrus but haven't logged collection yet

Tyring to reach top 50 on Tony Gwynn, Darryl Strawberry and Adrian Beltre

Trading:  Any trade should make both parties feel like they are better off than when they started.   Please feel free to counter any trade I send with what would make you happy if what I offer doesn't do it (as long as it's still fair).  I'll do the same on trades I get, but I'm pretty easy!

I'm open to any size trade, my favorites are PWE trades up to around 10-12 cards for ease of packaging, but again, I'm up for anything.

I am selling my mostly-Mets collection due to Parkinson's Disease. Every card price is negotiable, and fairly substantial discounts will apply. Make me an offer!

I prefer selling, but I will entertain good trade offers as well.  I reserve the right to occasionally reject offers that you make, just due to the exhaustion and ennui that accompany Parkinson's.  I am also open to offers for my whole collection, including some pretty interesting pieces of Mets memorabilia that there's no way to list on TCDb, for any of you out there who still have more money than good sense.

In fact, I am willing to give my entire collection away for virtually nothing, if you are willing to come and take it all away.

NOTE: If you order any 1990s-era cards, and you care how many asterisks or periods are shown on the back, let me know at the time of quote, and I will decide whether or not to check, mostly based on the size of your request.

Player collections of: Eduardo Perez, Garret Anderson, Alex Rodriguez, Ted Williams, Jim Rice, Dustin Pedroia and Andrew McCutchen

2022 represents an anniversary of collecting trading cards for 70 years. I spent 50 years as a set builder of baseball cards, but now I just collect cards of the above players with an occasional small set collection. At one time, I had an collection of complete sets of Topps and Bowman baseball cards (plus others) from 1954 forward plus quite a few cards from the 1952 Topps & 1953 Topps and Bowman sets. During the late 1980s and early 1990s I sold off the majority of those sets but still continued completing sets until 2002.

I've been trading online since 1994 and welcome any trade offers.  If I offer a trade, the cards normally have already been pulled prior to an acceptance, counter or decline. It is not a problem for me to re-file or exchange cards in a trade if needed.  I do keep records of my trading with my partners addresses and occasionally recheck those traders for future trades or sometimes just send along a PIF (pay it forward).  My one major disappointment with this site is that I did not find it many years before I did.  I will usually mail cards out promptly with tracking, however letely I have used PWEs for relatively small value trades.  Saying this, I welcome trade offers.  I do not expect to ever wind up with compete collections of any of the players I collect, nor do I want to.  I try to just enjoy my collecting habit and strive to make new friends in the hobby!

Last but not least, I do not sell cards, trades only.

I enjoy collecting football and baseball sets all major manufactures Topps, Fleer, Leaf, Upper Deck, Score (that all I can think of right now) 1970's to present,

I have also started a collection of my favorite NHL team the Nashville Predators.

Set building is my major goal condition is secondary. I do not mind a small crease or a rounded corner if a card is needed to complete a set.

I do not grade cards but I will let you know if a card has an obvious flaw before I accept the trade.

I do not mind PWE trades. I always ship in bubble mailers and with tracking if the budget permits. That is my personal preference I do not require or ask it to be yours.

PC - John Elway. Also looking to fill holes in the sets I collected when I was younger, and trying to build the Topps baseball sets I missed out on when I stopped collecting for a while. Just recently started to build a collection of Texas Rangers Topps base parallels.

To get the most for my postage buck, I'm trying to keep my trades to either: 1.) - less than 20 cards or so (which will go out in PWE's), or 2.) - larger than 50 which will go out in bubble mailers. Also, unless they're something which I'm really interested in, I'll pass on trades of only 2 or 3 cards going each way.

Pulled everything as too many errors in what I have compared to this. See Ebay and Ebid sites for items in mean time.Ebay items after end date move to Ebid site. After 10 10 day auctions moves to straight $sale with offer ability.  May be back on here may not. Selling ( FYI: not giving away around last few trades I can find (most commonly Beckett Market Data prices) which come from Ebay and it's own marketplace) all cards on the trade/sell list. Not really interested in trading except for my wantlist. Will take multiples of RCs.

I usually charge $3.50 for shipping in cardboard mailer, tracking, well protected no matter the amount of cards you buy ( up to 800)  does NOT change shipping. Will do PWE no tracking, not as well protected but should be adaquate $1. (Shipping charges only apply to purchases not trades.)

Over time, I've held on to Clemente (relics, short prints, inserts) and Yankees items. I collected since the '80's with some pauses here and there. What I love most is ripping packs open and checking the cards out, so I don't actively pursue any PC items through purchase. I've sold some items on ebay, I don't hold on long to cards that can get $20 + since I enjoy buying retail and hobby boxes (must support the baseball card gambling habit LOL). Also enjoy reasonably priced breaks. Fun Fact: I used to write a pretty popular fan blog for the now defunct Bridgeport Bluefish, on Tumbler. I wonder if that thing is still up.

Update 1-7-21: my collection and trading is taking a major back seat right now. Anyone wanting to trade anything time sensitive will unfortunately want to pass on from me.

Mostly baseball, preferably sets. Singles of Trout or Frank Thomas. Loves all cards though.

If sending a trade request i will check the card(s) and get back to you about condition before accepting the trade. Most anything above 1985 should always be NM or better. I am not a good judge of centering unless its an obviously off.

Looking for complete topps sets 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2017. These sets are not limited to topps however I do not have my PC organized yet and the other brands I do have are very disorganized. Complete sets of any brand are welcome as are off flagship releases.

I am In an on going process of sorting my collection. I have never done so until joining this site, never thought I would need to, lol. Now I am going through one box/album at a time getting out duplicates to trade/sell

Primarily set building. Baseball, basketball, football, hockey, and a little soccer. I love rookies, stars and the local (MN) players.

I am actively working on a 1969 Topps baseball set of Ex or better quality. I'm about 70% complete. Vintage excites me the most, but I will be a little picky. I have some real good 1969 Topps baseball cards to offer in exchange.

I am also working on modern sets from 2001 to present. Generally, I trade commons for commons, inserts for inserts, and autos for autos.

If you have matches on my trade list, but nothing on my wantlist, please message me. I can likely find something I want in your trade list. I try to limit my wantlist to my active projects.

Buying and selling is in play, so feel free to offer.

Update:

11/4/22

FOR THE LAST TIME I AM GOING TO SAY THIS. I DO NOT BUY CARDS ON HERE AND I WILL NOT DO BIG TRADES. I HAVE A SET LIMIT OF CARDS I WILL TRADE AND THAT IS THAT.

10/25/22

Today just I just pick up this really cool lot of cards that I will be trying to work into the database. Another 8500 cards pick up with football and baseball 2017 to 2021. I will be taking some of it for my collection and I will be setting the rest free.

4/2/22

I just got anther collection in most of it is Topps 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 with Opening day, and Update as well. It is not in the database as of yet if you are looking for base or RC I might have them.  I will try to get them into the database as soon as I can. Some of you know that I am also working on getting 350,000 plus cards in as well that was picked up and the first of this year. I hope this help you all out as I get closer to my 1000 completed trade being here.  I an getting slower on getting back to people on trade do to the face that I get a tone of trade offers each day. I will get to you just give me a little bit of time.

Thank you

I will try this one more time. I will only do trades that are 20 Cards or less. If the trade is more then that I will decline the trade offer. I have lost to many card to big trades. An my no trade list is still in play.  If you keep asking for more then 20 cards at one time. You will be put on that list no question Asked.

I finally made the list this year. The Biggest Trade of The Year Tenlbpain and Shaggy69 4,247 Cards. Hell Yes!!!!!

Not buy cards for any reason if I need them or not.

*****I've gotten through 1995 baseball and still have 4 more 4-5k sized boxes to go through, THEN come the other sports! ****

I'm a collector, not an investor. I typically prefer dealing within eras, common-for-common, star-for-star, HOFer-for-HOFer, and will ALWAYS consider base vintage (pre-1980) cards as being more valuable than most modern (post-1980) including inserts.

My available vintage in the various sports is mostly Fair to Good with stragglers along each side. Most are noted, many not, but if well-loved, well-worn are your type of vintage, then let's deal!

If TCDB or B****tt pricing is your preferred valuation, then please look elsewhere as we probably won't reach an agreement.

A strict minimum for trades is 18-cards each way, but will relent on that if ANY from my TOP 5 below are included.

TOP 5 SETS/SERIES IN EACH SPORT

NY Mets Topps (base & updates) & diving into Heritage as well.

I'd like to do the same for the Miami Dolphins as well (Topps & base Donruss).

As for player-specific, I'd like to focus on Bo Jackson & Darryl Strawberry to start.

Both my Want Lists & For Sale/Trade lists will be growing as I log more of my collection (5% done so far).

I am first and foremost a set builder, though I'm always happy to get cards from my favorite players and teams.

I prefer to work on 1 or 2 large trades at a time, but will entertain smaller offers.

I do a pretty good job of keeping up with the VAR's, but I am sometimes behind on the most up-to-date ones.

Not collecting anymore. Getting rid of all my cards.

If my trading is turned back on, it's only to list what someone wants to get from me, not for trades.

It's been fun, but there comes a time for all good things to come to an end. This is my time.

Collecting Baseball, Football, Basketball, & a little Hockey (in that order). Looking for any Houston Astros, San Antonio Spurs, anything Nolan Ryan, & to a lesser extent Dallas Cowboys, Houston Oilers, Houston Texans, Texas A&M, UTSA, & Texas Rangers. Came back to collecting with some sets in 2019, been picking up a few from the last decade, and am now finishing some junk wax sets from my youth (80's & early 90's) for nostalgia's sake.

Your goals: If you need any cards from my trade lists, feel free to send a trade proposal. Even if you don't have anything on my want lists to send in return, let me know anyway. I'm always willing to try and figure something out, and I'm trying to get my trade lists down to zero cards.

Love to trade!  I don't send out trades PWE but am fine with receiving them.  I trade by BV utilizing Beckett for baseball (I have a subscription) and TCDB prices for other sports (unless you have other sport subscriptions at Beckett).  Minimum BV of a trade for me to receive is $5.  Additionally, at this time I am limiting my trading to those located in the U.S.

I collect cards of everyone who ever played for the Dodgers. Only collect cards of them with the Dodgers though.

Alot of my Dodger needs have not been added yet. I'm slowly going through year by year and adding stuff I could use. Odds are, if its not in my collection, I could use it.

Priorities are

Certified Autos of players I don't already have a certified auto of.

Austin Barnes. I'm chasing everything Barnesy has out there.

Topps Flagship, Chrome and Opening Day Dodger Parallels.

I'm always willing to trade for Dodger cards I don't already have. My FS/T list is going to be a work in progress as I have lots to add to it.

This is a hobby for me. I am interested in the history of the cards, my team and the players who wore the uniform. I enjoy cataloging my cards, organizing my sets to view and searching out the cards to complete them. Values of cards are relative to me as I do not wholly view my collection as an investment, but cards I do wish to collect come at a price therefore I do seek likewise returns on trades for higher value or rarer cards e.g. SPs, rookies etc. I do my best to ensure that my available trade cards are accurate and to mail my trades promptly.

My collecting priorities are

  1. New York Yankees
    1. Topps brands
    2. Licensed brands (Fleer, Donruss, Score, Upper Deck, Metal etc.)
    3. Bowman
    4. Un-licensed brands (Modern Donruss, Panini brands etc.)
  2. Japanese MLB players

****Mailing from a US military address in Japan****

I will ship and receive USPS from a Fleet Post Office (FPO) at standard domestic USPS rates and procedures. Anything larger than a PWE coming my way will require a customs declaration to be completed by the sender at no additional cost. This process is largely automated and/or straighforward if you're using Click n Ship, Stamps.com, Pirateship etc.

Just about any Yankees card is a welcomed addition to my collection. I have not gone to the trouble of adding all parallels, SPs etc. to my wantlist yet but I would also like to trade for these. Especially interested in any mini- or over-sized cards, die-cuts, coins, stickers, booklets, posters, pins, memorabilia cards, manufactured patch cards, autographed cards, serial numbered cards, food issues and oddball cards.

My highest priority wants are cards that will finish off any Topps brand sets.

Please make reasonable trade offers. Offers of a bunch of 1990 base cards for modern inserts and stars will be rejected outright.

When trading for any cards from 1980 onwards I am only interested in EX-MT condition or better.

>99% of my listed cards are pack pulled as of my TCDb join date and are generally in "pack fresh" condition.

If you have specific mailing requirements or requests please let me know when proposing or before accepting a trade offer.

Thanks for reading my profile. I enjoy trading cards I don't need for those that I do. I've been in this hobby for many years (I remember opening 1955 Bowman packs at our local candy store)! I usually don't pull my end before making a proposal; most times, I'm trying to get a feel for how doable it is, and it saves me from having to refile cards if things fizzle out or if I'm countered.  I will, however, (usually) pull before accepting a trade.  Please counter, if need be!  Communication is key to good trading!   I have some physical limitations..it may take me a bit to pull cards so your patience is appreciated!

1.  My top priority is completing sets.

2.  Recent Phillies teamsets and inserts.  I do multiple teamsets to help local Philthies Phans!

3. Older Phillies teamset needs..all brands.

As mentioned, I love to trade, will reluctantly sell ... cheap, if we cannot swap!  PLMK what I have that you can't live without!  Phillies is my team, through thick and (mostly) thin!  PWE trades are great and assumed unless we agree otherwise - bubbles used if worth the shipping costs!  Slowing down though - the old body won't let me hoss those 5000 count boxes too much - thanks in advance for your patience with me!!

Individual players in order of priority for me:

Allen Craig

Dylan Carlson

Trea Turner

Yordan Alvarez

Jack Flaherty

Luke Voit

Juan Soto

Topps flagship sets (S1, S2, US), currently working on 2000-2020.

Cardinals Topps Chrome team sets from 2000-current, including rookie autographs.

Topps flagship Cardinals photo variations from 2009-present, especially interested in legend variations (Musial, Gibson, Ozzie etc).

Always updating my want list and available for trade list, if I have something you want feel free to send me a message or a blank trade offer and I will do my best to find a match. Willing to do quantity for quality and vice versa, and always looking to make large trades of base cards to make room in my trader boxes and progress on sets. Cards not marked as available will only be traded for something of greater scarcity/value that I need for my PC.

My job occasionally requires me to travel and work long hours, so I may be slow responding to trade offers sometimes, however I will respond to every offer as soon as I am able to pull the requested cards and ensure I have them and they are still in acceptable condition. Most trades with less than 25 cards will be sent PWE unless there is a thick card, relic, or higher value card that is worth the postage for BMWT. I have no preference on how cards are mailed to me as long as they arrive without damage.
