I have close to 50,000 sports and non-sports cards to put into the site.  Adding cards each week is like having a full time job.  Looks like a great place to find the missing cards from different card sets.  I started collecting comic cards and football cards when I was a teenager.  My Dad collected Movie, TV show, and Sports cards when he was younger, so I now have a lot of different card sets I'm looking to complete.  

I collect all San Francisco 49er cards, Star Wars cards, Comic cards, and various Non Sports cards.  I have Individual collections of Steve Young, Jery Rice, Ronnie Lott, Barry Sanders, Randy Moss, Darth Vader, Wolverine, Spiderman, and Venom cards.  

I love the organization and inventory from collecting cards.  Collecting is like having a full time job.  

I'm open to mixed trades....Football for Baseball, vice versa, etc.

I am also doing my best to have an accurate tradelist.  Working quickly to try and input my traders from an excel spreadsheet, there are bound to be some cards that are marked incorrectly or I just cant find.  I always try and confirm interest before accepting trades so that it allows both parties to confirm their lists.

PWE is perfectly acceptable but I would like it to be worth the stamps.  Not looking for alot of 1 for 1 trades unless its a nice single  So dont feel bad if I decline certain PWE trades :)

PWE is always preferred and has worked fine even for relics - please don't waste extra money on postage!

As a child, I was obsessed with baseball cards, to the point that I could look at a card, any brand, any year, and tell you exactly the year and the best cards in that set. Now I'm 39 years old and the obsession is even worse (or better, depending on how you look at it).  Working for Topps would be a dream job at this point.

• Darryl Strawberry Cards (Currently Ranked #7)
• Current and Past Year Topps Sets 1, 2 and Update base cards & certain inserts (priority to the 35th Anniversary Cards, Redux cards, Stars of MLB, All-Star Updates and Black Gold, but there are others that I like)
• Current and Past Year Topps Chrome and Update base cards & inserts (again, priority to 35 Anniversary & Redux cards)
• Other inserts and parallels that look cool.

Right now I’m mostly focusing on adding to my Darryl Strawberry Collection, but also looking to complete the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 Topps Main Sets & Updates, as well as Chrome. 

My preference is to trade duplicates from 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 for cards that I need from those sets, but I’m willing to trade any number of them to get parallels and serial numbered cards. 

All cards in my collection are available in the right deal! Every day, I'm adding more cards to my For Sale List, most of which are in great condition.  Any cards you might be interest in, I'll check out before finalizing a deal.

I prefer sending cards through PWE, so that I can make more trades, but will send in a Bubble Mailer if there are more than 20 cards, or a higher value card that is being moved.

12/4/2023 - Updated my PC lists, so there will be a mass of Jackie Robinson, Roberto Clemente & Corbin Burnes cards available for sale/trade here soon.  As I mention below, my want list is quite narrow, so I am more than willing to sell cards if we don't match up for a trade.  

Came across tcdb.com towards the end of 2019, and I have now completed over 1,500 transactions, with over 23,000 cards changing hands!  Love everything about this site.  I have met so many cool people from all over the Country, and even a few from Canada and beyond. Big time Husker fan as I've grown up and lived in Nebraska my entire life. I'm an alum and will cheer for any sport.

Been a card collector since a wee child. Took a 15 year hiatus in college and post-college and getting back into it collecting my childhood favorites. Boy have things changed! I'll dabble in some new cards, thus, I have newer cards for trade as well.

My goal: is to help you complete your sets and/or collect your favorite players or teams. I only have 1-5% of my collection logged into TCDB thus far, so most likely have many more in your want list then what appears. I'm very open and actually prefer trading 100-400 cards for 5-15 cards in return. I understand a number of my want list includes potentially "higher" priced cards ($1-$20+), so if I need to trade 1:10 or 1:20 if you're open to that, I am as well and will ship accordingly. As stated above, I love helping others complete sets as I have a TON of doubles and commons.

• If you would like to know the condition of any card in a trade or sale, please message me and I will send you a picture and/or do my best to describe it. We likely have different standards for "card condition", as I have never had a card graded or intend to do so. For any cards with which I've noticed defects (e.g., rough corners), I've tried to mark them with "Fair" or "Poor" ratings. I am still working on updating this for all cards.
• I love trading, and I do my best to respond to every offer as quickly as possible; some weeks are busier than others.
• I usually will withdraw trade proposals after a week or so, so I can free up those cards for other trades.

I'm a set collector - working on sets from 1953 - present.  (Appreciate my mom never throwing out my cards!)  i love trading and always try to propose equitable trades that benefit everyone!  If possible, try to trade in same sets/years or close to it.  But, hey, I'm always wanting to trade.  Generally will send cards in PWE or a sturdy paperboard envelope with protection and non-machinable stamp so as to decrease the likelihood of damage to cards.  If larger trade, will send in bubble mailer with tracking.

Will be working to upload my want and have to trade lists for all years - appreciate your patience and all the help everyone's been giving.  With the vintage cards, I've tried to estimate the condition - but I'm no expert.  Happy to send pictures before trading.  I tend to grade conservatively.  I will mention if there are any creases.  I prefer EX cards in my collection - meaning perhaps good corners and no creases.

My collecting started in the 1950's and has grown through many ups and downs.  I became discouraged in 1980 when all the card manufacturing companies started creating numerous sets and subsets with so many variations.  The New York Yankees have been my collecting interest.  As a young boy, it was my goal to collect every card issued for a Yankee player.  Much like my stamp collection that I inherited from my grandfather, I knew that some items would be out of my price range yet never was there a time when the volume of the collection became a question.

When I attempted to pick up my sports card collection in the 1990's, I was struck by the people who were speculators in the sports card buying side of the collecting.  Those who stop in a card shop, purchased a hobby box manufacturer's brand, opened the packages, removed only the cards listing in the Beckett monthly pricing magazine as value cards, and left the remaining cards on the counter.

Recently, returning to all the sports cards I have accumulated over the years, I discovered a yearning to reduce my collecting to an enjoyable level and try to do something with all the other cards.  Searching the internet lead me to Trading Card Database.  I signed into the program and was very pleasantly surprised by the database.  I am a new user of the database and still learning.

My collecting interests are as follows:
Baseball: New York Yankees - Topps base set {all years}
Football: Jacksonville Jaguars - Cards of all manufacturing brands {1995 thru present}
 

I will consider trades for cards of either team.

  Let's say we match on 100 cards. There are a fair amount of stars, commons, high value stuff. It can be definitely time consuming to add for both sides. Add what you are looking for from me and add 1 or more cards from your side and send it over to me. I can fill in the blanks to make that trade work for me. If you want to counter the trade feel free to do that so it works for you. I would hope for a fair amount of give and take dealing with common and star cards. Commons arent very valuable to me going to or coming from me. Just saying. If we can do a larger trade for more cards why wouldnt we?  This may not be everyone's ideal way to trade but I figure we get a lot more accomplished that way. if you want to do all commons on one end and all stars on another let's do that. AGAIN: I don't value common cards very highly whether they are mine or yours. you give me 20 i will give you 20.    I will counter 90 % of the time.  I'm a set collector working on sets. Volume trades are always welcome

I missed the forum post about bobscardz and his banishment. I would have voted NO because he hasn't even tried to send me my end of the cards he got from me. He marked it as problem and never fixed it ever since he left his UNWARRANTED negative against me. He is a spiteful, hateful internet scammer as far as I can see. I've been in this hobby for many years (I remember opening 1955 Bowman packs at our local candy store)! I usually don't pull my end before making a proposal; most times, I'm trying to get a feel for how doable it is, and it saves me from having to refile cards if things fizzle out or if I'm countered.  I will, however, (usually) pull before accepting a trade.  Please counter, if need be!  Communication is key to good trading!   I have some physical limitations..it may take me a bit to pull cards so your patience is appreciated!  

1.  My top priority is completing sets.  

2.  Recent Phillies teamsets and inserts.  I do multiple teamsets to help local Philthies Phans!

3. Older Phillies teamset needs..all brands.

As mentioned, I love to trade, will reluctantly sell ... cheap, if we cannot swap!  PLMK what I have that you can't live without!  Phillies is my team, through thick and (mostly) thin!  PWE trades are great and assumed unless we agree otherwise - bubbles used if worth the shipping costs!  Slowing down though - the old body won't let me hoss those 5000 count boxes too much - thanks in advance for your patience with me!!
