Stopped building sets in 09 and now have stopped chasing SFGiants/49ers in 2019. But still have lots of wants. Due to a generous divorce court had to return to work, so trading is still important to me but now pulling and mailing can only be done on thursday and fridays.

***AS OF 11/7/21, AFTER TAKING A TEMPORARY HIATUS FROM TRADING, I AM BACK TO THE WHEELIN AND DEALIN, SO PLS SEND ME ANY TRADE REQUESTS!***

(I am only looking for basketball and/or football cards please, and some non sport cards for myself and my son, as i do have many 80s-90s baseball and even some hockey, soccer, dessert storm, and garbage pail kids cards to offer FOR trade)

FELLOW COLLECTORS - I love (as my TCDB username obviously reflects) late 80's-early/mid 90's basketball and football cards, 89 nba hoops being my favorite to rip as a 11-12 yr old hoops junkie...now that i have completed my sets for 89 and 90 nba hoops sets, i am on the hunt fo find the announcer/special checklist cards card for these same years, as well as finishing up my (innagural year) 90 skybox basketball and 91 upper deck basketball sets...i enjoy collecting my favorite players (most 92 Dream Treamers-Magic, Bird, Jordan, Mullin, Barkley, Stockton, but NOT olympic cards) as well as other favorites of that era (Olajuwon, KIdd)...I am a huge Kentucky Wildcat hoops fan, so i am sometimes partial to and open to collecting players who played there for even 1 year (from Pitino's bombinos to Cal's one and doners)...my 11 year old son also has started collecting, as he is a new basketball junkie like his pops, so i am on here for him as well.....he LOVES/LOVED Kobe (his personal GOAT), Lebron, Anthony Davis, Giannis, and other current super stars...I also am collecting former NFL stars (Barry Sanders, Ed Reed, Larry Fitzgerald, Pat Tillman ) and current NFL players (DERRICK HENRY, Kyler Murray, Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Christian McCaffrey, Alvin Kamara, Josh Allen, Tyrann Mathieu, DK Metcalf)...looking forward to wheelin and dealin!

***I prefer to do trades of 18-27 (ish) cards or less, to allow me to safely place 2-3 cards (max) per slot on a 9 slot folded, sleeved page to be sent between 2 pieces of (painter's) taped cereal board in a long PWE, to be able to use a standard stamp and avoid large shipping cost, however, we can do larger trades if need be, no problem, as this is just what i have found works most efficiently since i have been on this site...i am always game for shipping tricks, so please feel free to share them wih me anytime!***

During a counter offer, I will generally never remove any cards you are requesting on your side of the deal, however, in the event I do feel I need to remove something (normally bc I can not locate the card in my inventory) I WILL advise you which card/s is/are removed, so you are fully aware before moving forward on the deal..no funny business going on here, I respect and follow good, honest business practice, and would greatly appreciate and expect the same-no smoke and mirrors...

***I pride myself on being a QUICK trader, normally getting your cards out by the next AM at the latest, so please respect me and do the same, thanks in advance! ***

***I check TCDB very frequently, multiple times per day, in fact as i am currently working from home and have the flexibility to do so, so the quicker the reply from fellow traders, the more i appreciate it and will do more future business!

I trade cards to build baseball, hockey, Canadian football and some non-sport sets, but I don't buy or sell cards. New cards are regularly added to my FT/S list.

All the cards I list here are NRMT or EX unless specified and I expect the same of you. Even I don't collect micro-variations (dots, stars, copyright marks, holograms, printing plate codes...), all my 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 Donruss have been checked. I use painter's tape for all shipments and I am fine with shipping cards in single or multiple PWEs, if the cards are properly packaged. I don't mind large or small transactions, but I currently prefer trades with 10 to 20 cards going each way or at least that the cards carry more value than the postage.

Besides helping to complete our collections one step closer each time, the opportunity would be nice to have traded with all the states, provinces and territories of North America. On this site only, I traded with 45 states, 9 provinces and overseas. I can't wait to have a trade in Alaska, D.C., Delaware, Nebraska, North Dakota, Wyoming, Manitoba and the 3 Canadian territories. However, if you don't live in the above juridictions, you're still more than welcome to trade with me.

Tip to save on shipping costs to Canada: use PWEs (Plain White Envelopes) and avoid bubble envelopes, plastic boxes and big stacks of cards. Ship as flat as you can (cut 9 pocket pages in 3 rows and insert 4-5 cards in each pocket). The more it looks like a greeting card or documents mailed in a regular letter instead of a package, the more it tends to be cheaper to ship. Current U.S. to Canada first class postage rate (up to 2 oz) is $1.30 and if non-machinable, $1.60. If you don't have Global Forever stamps handy, three regular Forever stamps work as well. There's also no need to pay $14.25 for shipping with international tracking, because it is too expensive and Canada Post won't track your postal item anyway. Overall, postal service tends to be slower in Canada and at times a bit harder difficult to predict, but it is as reliable as in the U. S.. I usually ship the same or the next business day, but Canada Post doesn't pick up or deliver on Saturday and Sunday.

A.S.

Quote:   WARNING: I do all my best to keep my lists up to date, but they may contain incorrect versions due to the incessant frequency with which new micro-variations are added. I don't collect them, but please ask me first, if they matter to you.

I collect: NBA, NHL, NASCAR, Star Wars, History, Military, DC Comics, Olympics, whatever interests me

Current project is trying to get at least one card of everyone to ever get one for NBA, NHL and NASCAR. Also working on getting at least one example of every set ever for the above sports. (Wantlists on Cardboard History)

I have some health problems that make it challenging for me to get to my trade stash. It makes me a slow trader as there are some days when I'm simply in too much pain to access the boxes. My health problems are not transferable so you do not need to fear catching anything from trading with me. I generally only can mail on Saturdays.

Trading:

I prefer to trade 1 card for 1 card. I do not care about any made up "book value". I will gladly trade more than one card for some as well...there are a few cards on my tradelist that I do need more than one card for in return though. I only put sets on my wantlist that are close to completion, so if you have something else in any of the three sports or the Non-Sports topics I focus on, odds are I will want it. Only reason I wouldn't is if I had it already.  If you don't have anything from the topics I mainly collect, but I have something you want, I will also accept football or baseball in trade, pretty much anything to get a trade done. I would prefer not to trade with smokers. I have breathing problems and cards that come from smokers are essentially useless to me, I cannot handle them

I have tried to make sure all the cards on my Tradelist are problem free, with no corner dings, scratches or other flaws, but I am human and it's possible I may have missed something, but all cards sent out are cards you shouldn't need to worry about ever finding a replacement for. I don't demand problem free cards in return as my theory is that a damaged card is better than no card, but writing and paper loss means to me that I don't actually have that card so please don't offer them to me in trade.

If you don't care about condition, take a look through my "Damaged Cards" collection. These are all cards that I rejected from my tradelist for having flaws but they are available for trade. I would put them at one third a card "value" so 3 damaged cards vs. 1 of your cards. If you do want any of them, let me know and I will move them to my tradelist. I don't want to put them all there and cause matches for people expecting good cards and getting damaged cards in return. Some of the flaws are pretty big problems, some you will probably wonder why I didn't list it in my tradelist. While my collection doesn't demand perfection, I am very strict with condition on cards I send out in trade.

Trading Prioroties: (what makes me the happiest to get in trade, in no particular order)

  • 1995-96 and 1996-97 NBA Cards
  • 1994 NASCAR Cards
  • Any NASCAR card that actually focuses on the car
  • Automotive Non-Sport cards
  • New York Rangers
  • New York Knicks
  • New Jersey Nets (and Brooklyn and New York Nets, but the NJ era is my favorite
  • Elton Brand
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr.
  • Henrik Lundqvist
  • History related Non-Sports cards
  • Attractive women (with or without clothes)
  • Anything from Racing Champions I don't have
  • With that said, I will trade for anything at any time, whether it's on my wantlist or not. I prefer "quantity" to "quality" and I'm a set builder at heart.

Any and all Braves cards from 1954 - 2021 (RIP Hank Aaron).

I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

Willing to trade just about anything for Braves cards......

I collect predominantly Packers, Brewers, and former UW Badgers.  Condition matters to me especially for 1981 to date.  Please do not send me severely yellowed, badly off-center, corner and edge damaged or creased and dog-eared cards from the modern era unless you have notified me as such ahead of time.  For 1980 and earlier I am not as concerned but would appreciate a heads up.

• Working on low to mid grade 1970 through 1972 complete Topps baseball sets, but I'll take any condition just to complete these sets. I'm focusing on these right now and I hope to trade as much for these as I can. I will buy if the price is right. I'm over halfway on 1970-1972 with HOF and High #'s remaining.

• Detroit Tigers Topps Team Sets, including SP (Complete 1958 to present)

• Detroit Lions Topps and Donruss post 2015 Team Sets, including SP (Complete 1956 to present)

• West Michigan Whitecaps Team Sets (Complete 1994 to present)

• Topps Flagship Baseball Sets 1970 to present (Complete 1973 to present)

• Topps Traded/Update Sets (Complete 1974 to present)

• Topps Pro Debut Sets (Complete 2010 to present)

• MLB Mascots

• Just added (Jan 2022) 1984-1989 Topps Football Flagship sets to my wantlist.  I don't care what is in the copyright line (C* vs D*), just trying to get one of each number to complete the set. I was gifted 1981-1983 and I built a 1990 set when I was a kid (and finished as an adult here on TCDB). I traded away a lot of other 80's football I'm sure I had, but now I'm looking for the challenge of building other sets and get an excuse to open the mailbox and send out my many extras.

• Any other local teams of interest - Grand Rapids Griffins, Muskegon Lumberjacks, Grand Rapids Rampage, Traverse City Beach Bums, Traverse City Pit Spitters, etc.

I've been very blessed in my trades and transactions here on TCDB. Thank you to all. I will trade vintage for modern and vice versa as long as there is roughly equal value felt on both sides. I am a set builder and collecter. I do not speculate on my cards for future value. I do this for fun, not for profit. I will sell, but only to build a small bank of money to use for buying cards I can't trade for. I've traded hundreds of cards each way and I've done many 1 for 1 trades, so no trade is too big or small for me.

I’ve been collecting cards for over 45 years and have over 364,000 unique cards in my main collection, including some nice vintage stuff.  I collect older cards of the four major sports but lately I've been expanding to some more recent sets.  I'm primarily a Set Builder and I’m looking for other like-minded set builders to trade with.   I’ve accumulated tons of extra cards that I would like to trade away with almost 250,000 cards in my current For Trade list.  Big trades don't bother me. I have a huge Want List, so hopefully you have something I need.  Feel free to make me an offer.

For Canadian Traders: It's expensive for me to trade across the border.  Going forward I would like to limit cross border trades to two (2) PWEs. That's about 54 standard-size cards.  Thanks.

Update on Donruss/Leaf * Variations and Upper Deck Holo Variations:
I can't guaranty the junk wax era Donruss/Leaf cards and the UD holo variations are listed with the correct variation.  Going forward I will no longer check the variations on these cards.  If you want these cards regardless of the variations, feel free to request them in the trade.  Howver, If you want a specific variation of these cards, I'm no longer your guy - please don't put them in the trade request.  For all other cards that have variations, I will contniue to check and make sure you get the correct one.

Note on Vintage Cards:
I have over 7,500 vintage cards listed for trade (I consider vintage to be 1977 or earlier).  For each card I've noted a condition grade and if you check closer, a note on each regarding any condition issues (be sure to select the correct one if multiple cards are shown).  Please note that I'm by no means a professional grader and if you're hyper-sensitive on card condition, please message me first and I'd be happy talk about it.  In exchange for these cards I have three priorities:

  • 1) similar vintage cards that I need (any sport)
  • 2) inserts for my 90s sets that I need (any sport)
  • 3) or non-junk era base cards that i need as a last resort (any sport)

Note on Card ConditionA card noted as Pr, Fr, Gd, or GdVg will have some obvious condition issues such as creasing, corner wear, or marks.  I would consider them place holders in a collection at best (I've listed them because some people do want place holders).  A VG card will usually be a clean card with some corner wear or a centering issue.  For me, VG would be the bare minimum for my personal collection.  EX will be nice sharp card and VgEx will be something just between VG and Ex, still a nice card with a small issue that prevents it from being EX.  NM in vintage is a tough find.

Came across tcdb.com at the end of 2019, and have already completed over 800 transactions.  Love it so far.  (Stole this from another member, but......my goal is to have zero cards in my For Sale/Trade List.  So keep the trades comin'!)

Current Priority: (Non "PC") lower-priced Hall of Fame autographed cards.  (Jo Jo White, Elvin Hayes, John Hannah, Rick Barry, Orlando Cepeda, etc)  Prefer licensed products, but ok with any sport.  Already up to nearly 100 through eBay.  Even if it's not on my Want List, please feel free to add to any trade proposal.

Update #3 (10/20/21):  All 1977 sets (Baseball, Basketball, Football & Hockey) are now complete.  Thanks to all for the trades to help make it happen!

Update #2: 1977-78 Topps Basketball is now complete as well!

Update #1 to current project below: 1976-77 Topps Hockey is now complete! Well on my way on the other sets. Appreciate all the help to this point.

***My newest project is to complete Topps sets for all four major sports from 1977 (my birth year).  I have the complete set of baseball, but have now added all cards for 1977 Topps Football, 1976-77 & 1977-78 Topps Basketball, and 1976-77 & 1977-78 Topps Hockey to my Want List***  (TASK COMPLETED)

My PC is as follows (with TCDB rankings as of 12/22/2021):

NBA: Giannis (4), Dirk Nowitzki (2), and Tim Duncan (3).  (I also - unofficially - collect MJ , Kobe, & Larry Bird).

NFL: Aaron Rodgers (2), Davante Adams (2), Aaron Jones (1), Sterling Sharpe (3), Jaire Alexander (1), Brett Favre (19) and Don Majkowski (2).

MLB: Garrett Mitchell (1), Aaron Ashby (1), Roberto Clemente (1), Jackie Robinson (3), Walker Buehler (1), Robin Yount (10), Tony Gwynn (10), Hal Morris (2), Mark Grace (5), Ethan Small (1), Jo Adell (2), Pat Listach (1), Corbin Burnes (4) and Mark Langston (1).

WWE: Lita (7).

(Although I currently live in Florida, I was born in Milwaukee.....hence my obsession with Wisconsin sports teams.  Ha)

Please check out my For Sale/Trade list.  Feel free to message me any time.....let's see what we can get done!  (I don't necessarily trade based on "book value", but rather the value to me, so please feel free to counter if I propose a trade that you feel is unfair).

(IMPORTANT) I had to add this statement since being ripped off three times on large trades: Should you be a first time trader with me and no matter how many great feeback notes or how many digits your total trading number is I will insist you mail first and provide a tracking number that will be verified prior to my shipping your cards. I have lost over 2000 cards due to dishonest people on this site and it stops here and now. THIS IS NOT PERSONAL TO ANYONE it is just my way of protecting my product when trading! Again, to those easily offended traders, spoken in the words of the Capo: "Its not personal Sunny, it's just good business."

I trade for EX/MT to MT cards. Filling Baseball/Football sets. I have some Basketball and Hockey to trade for Football/Baseball. Fair value trades only! No 91 junk for 70s! All mistakes will be made right. I keep my stock in good condition and inform trade partners of defects. I'll expect same in return.

My Steeler and Pirate binders always have empty pages to fill. I also collect Tony Gwynn! Hit me up with a trade proposal and we'll see if we can get it done.

2022 Goals

  • Grow my collection to be in the top 3 Cincinnati Reds collections on TCDB (currently #4)
  • Reduce my For Sale/Trade list by 1000 cards (currently at 6902)
  • Complete a minimum of 3 random acts of kindness (send some cards someone's way to help them out)
  • Have fun collecting!

Need some junk era stuff?  I have some!  Hit me up!.

I am very open to trade or purchase proposals.  I am also open to counter offers for trades that I initiate--so please feel free to review my lists and come back with an offer that works for both of us.  My hope is that every trade is a win-win for all.

***I Do Not Buy Cards -- Trades Only***

I am a fan of the Washington Redskins and Atlanta Braves. I collected baseball cards (and some football cards) as a boy into my teens. I sold off my cards as a young adult who was an active alcoholic. [I have been sober since February 17, 1991.]

I re-started collecting cards in 2015 during a business trip to Sapporo, Japan. I went to a Nippon Ham Fighters game, and while transversing the gift shop as I was leaving the stadium, I came upon packs of 2015 BBM Nippon Ham Fighters baseball cards. I haven't stopped since...

I collect Japanese & US Pro Baseball -- particularly Boston/Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves.

Please feel free to send me a friend request here and on Facebook.

#1 Miguel Sano Collector on TCDB with 389 unique cards (goal is to obtain all Sano cards possible)

Trading: PWE shipping, will use multiple envelopes if needed. My 70s cards are well loved cards-some are very good but some are rounded corners so to make sure there's no surprises I'm just going with saying they all are well loved so you won't be disappointed in a trade. The newer stuff 85 to current is great conditions.

My collection is one that sparks joy to me. I have no rhythm or reason to it, each card brought joy to me and so it was added to the collection. My want list is cards that spark joy for me. My high priority wants are 1974 Topps, 1975 Topps. I do not worry about conditions on these cards-I just want to build the sets. Also very interested in 2018-2021 Minnesota Twins and Pokémon.

This hobby is my saving grace! I found it as a way to help my anxiety and the friendships I have made in this hobby are amazing! I truly appreciate everyone in this hobby!

I look forward to doing lots of trades here and getting these cards in your mailbox and collection where they belong! When I send offers I like to match inserts to inserts, serial number to serial number, era to era; please try to do the same as well. In trade I'm more focused right now on my 2014-2020 cards.

One of my binder projects is a Topps Twins project and am mainly needing the vintage now, I am happy to add cards with character aka poor condition for the vintage cards. This project is to tell the story of the decades and what better way than to have character to the cards. That's for the vintage, I don't want 1990s cards that are rounded edges and ripped up.

My collection is valued at how much I'm smiling at the end of the day :)

2022 goals. Obviously keep organizing and thinning out my collection. With the card boarding during the pandemic I've decided to cut back on trying to buy anything new. So I'm going to try to complete some sets to sell. Here's a few I'm working on:

2018 Donruss master set: 90.9%, missing only 30 cards

2018 Donruss Optic master set: 61%, missing 78 cards

1998 SPX Finite: 72.2%, missing 100 cards

2001 Topps Archives: 55.8%, missing 199 cards.

This year I need to be more aggressive and clear more cards out!

Baseball.  I want to assemble a set of Topps from every year since 1980 and maybe whatever I can find before that.  I'll pick up a few others along the way, also.

Completed sets (date, final card purveyor):

1993 Topps Baseball (12/14/2018, 49ants)

1992 Topps Baseball (3/23/2019, Mark 1010)

Near complete:

1994 Topps Baseball (-3)

2008 Topps Baseball (-1) Who has #610 Carlos Beltran? I'm not counting on #661 Johan Santana for $250. Beltran will have to complete it... anyone?

2018 Topps Baseball (-4, including Ohtani rookie)

Getting close: 1985, 2007, 2015, 2004

Numerous others well over half... check out my don't haves in my collection

Baseball only.  I've been collecting since 1977 and have built nearly every Topps base set since 1980.  Now I'm enjoying Topps insert sets and currently working on 2021 Topps 1952 Redux and 2021 Topps 1965 Redux.

I'm fine with trading across decades (my 1980s for your 2020s). Overall, the average condition of the early 1980s cards is EX, many rate higher. The 1980 Kelloggs cards are Nr-Mt. Sometime in the past year or so out of boredom I opened the set up that I sent in for!

Please don't ask to do a PWE where you send me a couple of 1980s commons in ok shape for a couple of 1990s/2000s HOFers in NrMt condition. Will trade HOFers for HOFers only.

Before I accept trade proposals, I will let you know the condition of the cards after they've been pulled. Variations will need to be checked.

I prefer large trades that are packaged well and sent USPS with tracking both ways.  I'm ok with PWEs as long as the cards are well protected

I do not buy or sell cards, trades only.

Now the #1 collector of Ryan Klesko cards on TCDB!  With more to come!

PC: Ryan Klesko, Dale Murphy, Dave Winfield, Dominique Wilkins, Michael Conforto, Adley Rutschman, Nick Madrigal, Trevor Larnach, Cadyn Grenier, Drew Rasmussen, Gary Payton II, some rookie/early Bo Jackson, rookie/early/unique Eric Lindros, rookie/early Junior Seau. Looking for any Oregon State Univ alum in OSU or Team USA gear (AC Green, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Jacoby Ellsbury, Steven Jackson, Gary Payton, Nick Barnett, Matt Moore, Ochocinco/Chad Johnson, Sean Mannion, Johnny Hekker, Darwin Barney, etc).

PLEASE SEND TRADE OFFERS.  It's my favorite part of the hobby.  Always willing to negotiate a good deal for both sides.  One card, or 10+ cards.  I'm fine with any size.

I do NOT collect/keep any other cards of any other players/teams.  If the card isn't a unique card to me of one of my guys above, it's not something I will keep.  I don't want duplicates either.  I'll trade it or sell it if it's something I think I can move; otherwise, no thanks.  But I DO want any card of any of my PC guys if I don't already have it.  My trade/sell and want/wish lists are updated, so if it's not on those lists, it's highly unlikely that I'm interested in it, or I already own it.

Fan of: all OSU sports, Braves, Red Sox, Blazers, Chargers, Flyers, Timbers, Tottenham FC.

Goal for VINTAGE ONLY CARDS (condition NOT very important...just no rips/tears, no writing on the front...some creases ok): Hank Aaron (preferably in a Milwaukie uniform, but not required), Mickey Mantle pre-1965 (earlier the better), Babe Ruth any year, Joe DiMaggio any year, Sandy Koufax any year, Ted Williams pre-1955, Jackie Robinson any year and Stan Musial pre-1958.  Prefer to stay as cheap as possible, but for the right card might go a little higher...obviously Mantle and those guys would be more.  Again, condition I know won't be great at these prices.  But I have a Roberto Clemente, Bob Gibson, Ernie Banks and a Willie Mays at these levels, and a few of Ted Williams, that I'm very happy with.

TCDB rankings as of 11/24/21:

Murphy (11th), Klesko (1st), Winfield (6th), Conforto (2nd), Madrigal (2nd), Rutschman (1st), Yovan (1st), Larnach (1st), Grenier (1st), Rasmussen (12th), Wilkins (3rd), S Jackson (119th).

VERY willing to trade/negotiate.  I live to trade...send me all trade requests!  Would prefer trades to purchases, although I know my PC is pretty limited in the grand scheme of things.  Just getting back to the hobby after approx 30 years out of it, and about 17 years after selling off 99% of it to pay for our wedding.  I forgot how much I loved it!

If you have cards of these sets/players that I don't have assume they are on my wantlist. So close on the 2021 Bowman Baseball and 2020 Chronicles Football. Any help on these two sets is greatly appreciated and thank you to those that have helped out so far!

Baseball sets I am trying to fill first: 2021 Bowman (so close and any help would be appreciated), 2021 Chronicles (just started this one and excited to try and finish it), 2021 Select, 2021 Diamond Kings, 2021 Stadium Club.

Football sets I am trying to fill first: 2020 Chronicles, 2020 Optic, 2020 Select, 2021 Absolute Retail (just started this one) 2021 Prizm Draft Picks, 2021 Chronicles Draft Picks.

I collect mainly Baseball/Football but have a little Basketball, Hockey, and Soccer that I have added for trade purposes.

Slowly but surely I am getting my collection uploaded and at some point would love to trade all of my doubles for cards that fill my sets and help others do the same in the process.

I like buidling sets, especially 70's era baseball and football. Took a long break from collecting, but recently started up again. Working on completing my '74 Topps FB -- the first year I started collecting cards. I have TONS of early 90's basketball in outstanding condition, so hit me up if you have any trades in mind.

Trade notes: I usually do not pull cards before making a trade offer but will pull them before accepting one. Trades need to be worth the postage, thats all.

-If you are asking to trade for some of my serial numbered cards, generally i would be looking for serial numbered cards in return. I have plenty of Common cards on my wantlist and i am willing to trade other commons in return.

Card Value- I am not concerned with this site's pricing, Beckett, or some random "book value"- If we can buy the card for 18 cents on the internet then that is what the card is worth to me.

Shipping- I will ship using PWE if that is the most affordable solution. For higher end cards, i will use a mailer but please let me know beforehand if thats what you are looking for. Not currently shipping international for the time being.

Condition-  For me, my biggest concern is scratched chrome cards. I sleeve all of my chrome cards here. In general i try to note any major flaws on condition so consider everything NM or better.

Who I am currently trying to collect:

NY Giants: Eli Manning, Saquon Barkely, Brandon Jacobs,  David Tyree, Amani Toomer, Mario Manninham, Hakeem Nicks,  Michael Strahan

Chicago Bulls: Dennis Rodman,  Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Zach Lavine, Patrick Williams, Toni Kukoc, Lonzo Ball, Nikola Vucevic, Alex Caruso, Ron Harper, Demar DeRozen

NY Yankees: Bernie of course!, Andy Pettitte, Aaron Judge, Oswald Peraza, Estevan Florial, Anthony Volpe, Giancarlo Stanton, Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada, Mariano Rivera, Hideki Matsui, Andy Pettitte, Alex Rodriguez

Lastly a few others: Aaron Rodgers, Julio Jones, Tee Higgins, AJ Brown

If you are interested in trading but you do not have any of my wants, i will also accept trades for cards that i do not have of any of the above players. There is a limit to the amount of cards i can quickly add to the want list so my wants may change periodically:

CURRENTLY NOT TRADING, JUST TOO BUSY WITH WORK BUT HOPEFULLY THIS WINTER I CAN GET BACK INTO IT. Set builder for baseball, football, and basketball. PC Jerry Rice, Steve Young, and Iowa players. I am going to cut back on trading star players for common set fillers, even if the trade is equal number of cards, so don't be offended if you propose one and I decline it. If anyone wants to swap duplicate or starter sets send me a message and I can get you a list of my extra sets. I do most trades in a PWE unless it gets into a higher value trade, if you want them sent a different way you have to let me know when proposing or accepting the trade. Sometimes I turn trading off if I get busy with work and don't feel like I'm able to respond to trades in a timely manner. If trading is off, you can send me a message if you see something you want as long as you're not worried about it taking me four or five days to get my end put together.

Got back into collecting and am going to collect Topps only, base sets. Am collecting both baseball and football.

I love trading and its generally more important to me to complete sets than to seek equal value, so I'm not afraid to take less if it helps complete sets.

When it comes to grading cards, I'll be as honest as can be. I look for as good condition as I can, and will try to trade the same.

Update; finally getting around to entering cards from late 80s and early 90s. Most of these are trade bait, I'm only keeping Topps, so I'll be very generous on trade offers with them. When I get around to putting basketball in, I will trade basketball for baseball or football. Trade away!!

Cardinals Baseball any year any brand

Some Vintage Topps Baseball Set Building (in any condition).....

Also doing 9 page project of John Riggins (Football/Redskins), see want list, can use dupes of some.

Memphis Grizzlies basketball added to want list recently.

I have NOT separated my traders into dot and no dot variations (or letter variations).  If this matters to you, I do not mind checking for a particular one for your want list...

I do expect nm or better condition on 81-present cards (unless agreed upon lower condition in messages)  On vintage, I collect any condition except on upgrade lists.

If you do want to trade vintage, please be clear on what your condition requirements are....many of my extra vintage are in lower conditions..

Completed 2300+ trades with 548 different traders (in multiple groups) since 2005

Have lots of wants on my web page, not on this database

Everything in dupes collection is available for trade even if not in trade/sales list

I can only ship on weekends ....

Some of you may be frustrated that I turn off trades, but here is why:

I am in multiple trading groups, and simply do not have time to do more than 1 or 2 trades a week here.

Many times, the best way to trade with me is to PM about generally what you are looking for and I can respond timely if I have an 'opening' in my 1 or 2 trades per week (or get to you the following week or such)

I am open to offers if you want to buy although my primary focus is trading.

Primarily a set collector.

My current primary focus are on completing these Topps baseball sets:

1960 (G or better), 1961, 1963 (VG-EX+), 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973 (EX+), 1976 and 1977 (NM+)

My secondary goals are completing other junk wax and modern sets on my wantlist, but these are very low priority.

Quote:   Please let me know what your grade standards are for 1970s and earlier cards. I am obviously not a professional grader, but I have listed my grade estimate for any pre-1980 card I have for trade. Happy to provide pictures of vintage.

I enjoy collecting football and baseball sets all major manufactures Topps, Fleer, Leaf, Upper Deck, Score (that all I can think of right now) 1970's to present,

I have also started a collection of my favorite NHL team the Nashville Predators.

Set building is my major goal condition is secondary. I do not mind a small crease or a rounded corner if a card is needed to complete a set.

I do not grade cards but I will let you know if a card has an obvious flaw before I accept the trade.

I do not mind PWE trades. I always ship in bubble mailers and with tracking if the budget permits. That is my personal preference I do not require or ask it to be yours.

While vintage is listed on my FS/FT, I'm really only looking for vintage in return right now.

At this time, mailings can only go out on Mondays and Fridays.  This is still a hobby, and life gets in the way a lot more nowadays, so sometimes trading will be turned off for awhile.  If I have something of interest to you, please message me, and we can maybe work something out.

I am set set builder strickly with baseball any and all sets are wanted.

Due to the limit on how many cards that can be placed on the wantlist, if you don't see it in my collection then I want it.

I DO NOT trade from my Collection unless there are two of the same card that you are needing.

Thanks,

December 31, 2021 - I have turned trading back on as some are asking for trades. This does not change my opinion stated below.

I will continue to accept PWE trades that have at least 12 cards coming my way (or something pretty special) but continue to prefer larger trades, i.e. 300+ cards each direction. My VAR are double checked, at the time I listed it and again when I pull it for trade, to make sure you get the right one. I do ask that you do the same, especially in the parallel sets (I have received too many base cards when the parallel was offered). My lists are my priorities; if you offer me some of those, then I will be happier to accept.  If you don't bother checking my priorities and just offer me several from the same set just because it is easier for you and I find you have several from my lists, then it is just as easy for me to decline your laziness. I will help you if you help me.

As of December 31, 2021 I have sent 58,314 cards in trade, sales or PIF to other members; in return, I have received 50,152. Thanks to all the good traders on this site, especially those who have learned how to economize shipping across the border, approximately $1.80 for a PWE with 18 cards in it.

--------------------------------------------

December 4, 2021 - Today I have turned off my trading, not because I need to organize my collection or anything like that but because this site and its elitist clique have finally driven me to the point where I need to step away from the majority of what goes on here on TCDb.

It is a shame that a site that has rejuvenated the hobby for so many collectors can also drive away some long time collectors. Over the years I have watched the changes happening on this site that has taken it from the greatest collecting site on the internet to merely a decent tool to track one's collection. I have also watched many of the better members on this site who were always there to help answer questions for new members, no longer be active in the forums all because they were also sickened by some of those most active there. I have read so many rude responses to queries by new members in the Forums that I wonder why anyone new to the site would even stay. Seven years ago when I first registered, it was not like this. In the last 2 years I have seen enough hatred and anger expressed in the forums to match Facebook.

I used to contribute where I could to help this site.  Uploading checklists, scanning cards and uploading images, fixing notes, submitting IR to have things corrected that I could not.  Slowly my desire to help was eroded by those who want to have total control over the site. I believe their wish is to eliminate all others who are not in the clique from being able to do anything here as they believe they are the only ones who know everything in the hobby. They quickly deter new members from participating with their aggressive responses in the Forums and they find ways to block older members who may voice things against their ideas.

Well done guys; you've succeeded in silencing another one.

Cleveland Browns, Mets, Topps football sets.

Any Mets or browns that aren't in my "collection" are wants. There are just too many to simply add all missing cards to wantlist.

Would like to focus on Topps football.  Condition not necessarily a priority on older cards, just no holes, missing paper, wicked creases, rounded corners...

EXPECT A WEEK TURNAROUND FOR TRADES

They may get out the door quicker than that but expect a week.  If this isnt acceptable, do not trade with me.

9 card minimum and no maximum offers accepted.

PWE is my preferred method of shipping and don't mind it in return if it's the generally accepted method of 9 pocket, painters tape, cardboard. I ship up to 81 cards utilizing a variation of this method; file folder and large envelope. Anything over that will be a package.

CURENTLY NOT TAKING TRADES

I collect Billings Mustangs cards and former Mustangs players who had prominent MLB careers (George Brett, Aaron Boone, Reggie Sanders, Joey Votto, etc.). Top players still in the minors include Jeter Downs, Hunter Greene, Taylor Trammel, Aristades Aquino, Nick Lodolo, and Nick Senzel.

I am also a Red Sox collector. I like to focus on Pedro Martinez, Nomar Garciaparra, Dustin Pedroia, and Xander Bogaerts.

Other players I look for are Randy Johnson, Matt Chapman, and Troy Tulowitzki.

I prefer to make trades PWE unless the cards are high value.

  • Any Topps Holiday SPs
  • Any Turkey Reds (reprints, base sets, insert sets)
  • 55 Bowman's
  • 72 Topps
  • 2019 or 2020 Stadium Club
  • Any Reggie Jackson, Don Mattingly, Griffey Jr, or Barry Sanders I don't have

Condition is important but not essential. Definitely don't want pin holes, writing, or missing paper. I will do my best to verify and alert of any condition issues on my end, I ask that you please do as well.

If you're planning on vacationing in the Black Hills, I live nearby. Check out my for trade list and maybe we can work something out in person.

TRADING, BUT, PLEASE READ:

If I make you a trade proposal, and you don't want to trade, or you need time, or cards I want are pending, or I've unintentionally lowballed you, it's okay...i can deal with it.  I'd appreciate some sort of response though!  If you have time to log on daily, you should have time to respond with a short note!  TIA!  That being said...Lotsa baseball and football for trade or sale!!  I try to respond to proposals in a timely fashion and, at least acknowledge that the proposal was received.

I usually don't pull my end before making a proposal; most times, I'm trying to get a feel for how doable it is, and it saves me from having to refile cards if things fizzle out or if I'm countered.  I will, however, (usually) pull before accepting a trade.  I have some physical limitations, so your patience is appreciated!

My top priorities are..

2020 Bowman Sets .. BPs, BCPs

2020 Topps Heritage High Series Set (just SPs, thanks to belijr (John) for Lou Bob!!)

2001-2007 Bowman Heritage

Recent Phillies teamsets and inserts

2000-2005 Topps Traded/Update sets

I love to trade, will reluctantly sell ... cheap, if we cannot swap!  PLMK what I have that you can't live without!  Phillies is my team, and I do Topps and Topps and Bowman Heritage sets and Phillies team sets, all brands.  100s of references available - here, Facebook and online groups (Bench, TradingBases).  PWE trades are great - bubbles used if worth the shipping costs!  Slowing down though - the old body won't let me hoss those 5000 count boxes too much - thanks in advance for your patience with me!!

I trade mostly football, but there are a few hockey, basketball and baseball players from my childhood I might have a soft spot for.

High interest:

Rookies, autos and patches of Steelers and Oregon State Beavers or any of the players on my faves list.
Trying to complete collections for Barry Foster, Mike Hass, Ken Simonton, Ryan Nall and Steven Nelson.

Medium interest:

Rookies, autos and patches of other players I might like but have forgotten I liked.  Inserts or paralells of Steelers or players on my faves list.

Cards I have an inexplicable interest in:

Acetate cards, art cards, funky die-cuts, metal cards.

Anything in my trade bin I'm actively trying to move.  Cards in the collection are not off limits, but you might need to wow me.
