I'm primarily on this site to (1) collect Kansas City Royals  (2) collect Garbage Pail Kids and find a solid person that has the same interests with the GPK for multiple trades.  Meanwhile, I want to help others complete sets and make some friends through the hobby.  Ideally, my trade would be quantity coming to you, and some small quality coming back to me.  I am very willing to send 20-30 commons for 1 or 2 vintage cards, parallel, numbered card, cheap auto, etc.  I know a lot of you all are here for the same reason so it differs when it comes to the Royals, gimmie quantity for quality.

Anyway, I collected as a kid (86-93?) and then in 2018-19 sold nearly all my good stuff for cheap and it's been my biggest regret.  Too embarrassed to even mention what they were.  It did however get me to pay attention to the card market and really got my interest again, so I started heavily collecting just before the boom hit.  My favorite set at that point was 19-20 Prizm basketball.

CURRENT PRIORITIES: (Actively collecting)

Kansas City Royals (nearly all)

Garbage Pail Kids (nearly all, GPK/MLB S1 and S2, and Battle of the Bands are my faves)

Vintage Wacky Packages

1981-82 Topps Basketball (59% complete as of 7/1/23)

1959 Topps Baseball (Just getting started, but most likely my favorite vintage set)

1964 Topps Baseball (just getting started here)

1995-98 Metal Basketball (I'm a Metal junkie, possibly some of my favorite cards ever designed besides 90-92 Skybox Basketball)

1996-97 Metal Baseball

SHIPPING: (Pretty similar to most I believe)

<30 cards with nothing of significant value will be sent in PWE no tracking

>30 most likely sent in bubble mailer with tracking

If there is a card with significant value I'll send with tracking in bubble mailer as well

I love the hobby and enjoy helping ALL collectors!  Send any fair trade and I will nearly always accept.

Thanks for letting me be a part of your experience.

FYI, my mail days are usually Wednesday or Thursday.

I'm a collector, NOT an investor, and I deal solely on that premise.

I have my valuations and ANYTHING vintage (i.e. up through 1979) is considered more highly than anything newer.

I have tons of Wants from the overproduced late 1980s to early 1990s and I am looking to trade within that era for those, but I will go cross-sport, and will try to match HOFers, Stars, or Commons as much as possible in a card-for-card trade.

Mostly I'm a "You got gaps; I got gaps; together no gaps" type trader, BUT because I have plenty of oddball wants, I do not trade those for base cards (or even inserts in most cases). For example, I have plenty of Kellogg's cards, but I prefer trading them for other Kellogg's cards (or other food issued cards) from similar eras.

I ACCEPT lower conditioned creased and worn cards, but I wish to be told about them. The only flaws that I'll decline would be significant paper loss on fronts, markings or doodles that are excessive, or severely cut/torn cards. In those cases I'd still like to see scans to determine if they're acceptable. (I do NOT expect your condition requirements to be like mine.)

I vow to send securely and economically with VARs confirmed and condition issues noted or explained:

  1. At least 18 cards going each way in a PWE.
  2. Trades involving up to 90 cards will be mailed in medium to large business envelopes without tracking.
  3. Larger trades will be sent in most economical way possible (obviously with tracking).

Focusing on These for Now (And the only ones which I'll consider in trades smaller than the 18 minimum from above):

  • BASEBALL
    1. 1975 & 1978 Topps
    2. 1989 & 1991 Donruss Grand Slammers (master sets)
    3. 2001 Upper Deck Decade 1970s (base and related inserts)
    4. Any Topps Heritage New Age Performers
    5. Any food issued sets
  • FOOTBALL
    1. 1966 Philadelphia
    2. 1968 Topps
    3. 1987 Topps
    4. 1994 Ted Williams Roger Staubach's NFL (base and related inserts)
    5. 2009 Philadelphia
  • HOCKEY
    1. 1971-72 & 1978-79 Topps
    2. 1987-88 Topps
    3. 1989-90, 1990-91, 1991-92 Kraft sets
    4. 2001-02 Topps - 1971-72 Heritage
    5. Any food issued sets

Only really collect sets. No single player collections or themes. Finishing off my sets from the 90s, when I last collected, but also taking the plunge into some recent stuff.
There are an overwhelming number of modern subsets and insert sets out there.

Currently collecting:

Baseball:  1993 Topps Gold (now over 99%, marathon, not a sprint), 1995 UD & Special Edition, 1996 UD & Lovero inserts.

2021/2022/2023 Topps Flagship and Update Series and some inserts sets.

2020 Topps Heritage. Couldn’t resist the first set I collected as a kid. The originals are long gone but the memory isn’t.

Basketball:  1993-94 UD Future Heroes, 1994-95 & Jordan Heroes, 1995-96, 1996-97, & 1997-98 Upper Deck.

Football:   Trying to figure out what modern sets to collect. Meantime, 1994 Upper Deck Pro Bowl inserts.

Hockey:  1994-95 Upper Deck SP, 1995-96, 1996-97 UD Superstar Showdown, 2021-22 UD base and Honor Roll/Black Diamond Retro inserts.

The new Tim Horton’s sets.

Nonsports:  2023 Topps Obi-Wan Kenobi. Watched the series with my daughter and really reminded me of being in the theatre in 1977.

I mostly trade but also buy and sell. The central challenge is to get the right cards to the right people. If cards don't arrive, I do my best to make it right. PWE preferred, multiple if necessary.

726 completed trades and counting...

Thanks to all who have participated worldwide. It really is amazing to see your collection evolve.

Priority of my want lists:
1 - Any and all Phillies cards (almost anything not in my collection is a "want")
2 - Various set ventures (baseball - 1972 Topps, 2016 Topps Chrome, Archives, Heritage sets, then hockey sets)
3 - Baseball HOFers (1980s)
4 - Baseball HOFers (1970s)
5 - Baseball HOFers (1990s)
6 - Baseball HOFers (other decades)

If there are any other categories of want lists, they would fall between set completion and HOFers.

I added approx. 90,000 cards available for trade in early 2023.

[The next section has been updated on 10/25/2023]

Note: Currently transactions are OFF.

When I have transaction requests turned on, trade proposals will be handled in the order in which they are received. I am continuing to take it slow because I don't have the time or patience to take on too many trades at once. Additionally, I have found that it makes it easier on both sides because the cards are known to be available. And please, when we do trade, please make it so that the postage to/from your location to mine makes a trade worthwhile for both of us. Thank you.

Please also note that I am very much open to selling in addition to trading. If you see stuff you want and don't have anything in return, that's okay. We'll work out a deal that will be fair for both of us, not just me (and not just you, please). (The listings over at the SwamiLee account are in my possession and I am also selling those. The only sport left there is baseball.)

Thanks for reading my profile. I enjoy trading cards I don't need for those that I do. I've been in this hobby for many years (I remember opening 1955 Bowman packs at our local candy store)! I usually don't pull my end before making a proposal; most times, I'm trying to get a feel for how doable it is, and it saves me from having to refile cards if things fizzle out or if I'm countered.  I will, however, (usually) pull before accepting a trade.  Please counter, if need be!  Communication is key to good trading!   I have some physical limitations..it may take me a bit to pull cards so your patience is appreciated!

1.  My top priority is completing sets.

2.  Recent Phillies teamsets and inserts.  I do multiple teamsets to help local Philthies Phans!

3. Older Phillies teamset needs..all brands.

As mentioned, I love to trade, will reluctantly sell ... cheap, if we cannot swap!  PLMK what I have that you can't live without!  Phillies is my team, through thick and (mostly) thin!  PWE trades are great and assumed unless we agree otherwise - bubbles used if worth the shipping costs!  Slowing down though - the old body won't let me hoss those 5000 count boxes too much - thanks in advance for your patience with me!!
