I'm in remission with esophageal cancer, learning how to use my 'new plumbing' after an esophagectomy, several discectomies and spinal fusion surgery, new scars on my face from trying to make it look better by passing out and falling face first on a hardwood floor (didn't work, but cool scars!) and, worst of all, adjusting to life on my own since my collecting partner, best friend, and wife died (of course from f$#*&^g cancer)! So, this is really all I have left....LET'S TRADE!!!

Steelers are my main focus. Pirates & Penguins will always have one or two team sets in the works as well.

Any Rocky Bleier not already in pc, happy to trade heavy for.

Grew up in Three Rivers Stadium. Collecting is about the memories for me.

Always happy to trade no matter if it's big or small. Same town or different continent, all good. A great way to help one another.

⭐️Topps BB glossy all star sets available for trade. Years:

1987, 1986, 1984..  All NM or better

If not listed or looking for 84-88 Topps All Star Sets? Feel free to shoot a message, local shop always has NM+ sets in those years, very inexpensive, along with any 87 Fleer sealed, small box sets. 87 Fleer BB anything, seems to be readily available. Happy to help out.

Singles are up as well, preferably for trade.. no football for sale out here.

If anyone is in need of paper Mylar flips? Save your $ and, again, just send a hello. Perfect size for Coke & Pepsi FB/BB Caps. 31.5mm

Thanks.

This site has been amazing in helping me rekindle my love for trading cards. I prefer baseball but do have some moderate interest in basketball and football.  I love to trade! If I send an offer and it's not quite right feel free to counter.

I am mostly focused on building sets right now.  I'm currently working on:

1995 Leaf: 90%

If you come across a Carlos Baerga I might be interested in it. Trying to get one of everything.

I ship most things PWE though bigger trades will go in a BMWT.

Just a high schooler aspiring to open my own sports card shop. Please send trades my way! I always read messages within a 12-hour radius, and always respond to every message. I only pretty much want cards that are in my wantlist unless I propose a trade to you saying otherwise. I primarily collect Basketball, Football and Baseball, but will dabble in MMA, Boxing and vintage Cartoon related cards

I accept Paypal, venmo, cashapp, and cash in the mail.

Sport and non sport cards...as well as new and vintage figures (toys)!

Nearly my entire collection of cards and figures (along with most all other material possessions) were maliciously destroyed not long before I joined the database. I came only looking for ideas regarding starting over but instead I gained a greater understanding for the hobby, made some wonderful acquaintances and have learned more than ever expected.

** GOAL: Now if I could ONLY replace my Monkees and Beatles cards- wishful thinking, I know- Hopeefully since condition doesn't matter- I can begin piecing some together without getting stung too badly!**

I collect: NBA, NHL, NASCAR, Star Wars, History, Military, DC Comics, Olympics, whatever interests me

Current project is trying to get at least one card of everyone to ever get one for NBA, NHL and NASCAR. Also working on getting at least one example of every set ever for the above sports. (Wantlists on Cardboard History)

I have some health problems that make it challenging for me to get to my trade stash. It makes me a slow trader as there are some days when I'm simply in too much pain to access the boxes. My health problems are not transferable so you do not need to fear catching anything from trading with me. I generally only can mail on Saturdays.

Trading:

I prefer to trade 1 card for 1 card. I do not care about any made up "book value". I will gladly trade more than one card for some as well...there are a few cards on my tradelist that I do need more than one card for in return though. I only put sets on my wantlist that are close to completion, so if you have something else in any of the three sports or the Non-Sports topics I focus on, odds are I will want it. Only reason I wouldn't is if I had it already.  If you don't have anything from the topics I mainly collect, but I have something you want, I will also accept football or baseball in trade, pretty much anything to get a trade done. I would prefer not to trade with smokers. I have breathing problems and cards that come from smokers are essentially useless to me, I cannot handle them

I have tried to make sure all the cards on my Tradelist are problem free, with no corner dings, scratches or other flaws, but I am human and it's possible I may have missed something, but all cards sent out are cards you shouldn't need to worry about ever finding a replacement for. I don't demand problem free cards in return as my theory is that a damaged card is better than no card, but writing and paper loss means to me that I don't actually have that card so please don't offer them to me in trade.

If you don't care about condition, take a look through my "Damaged Cards" collection. These are all cards that I rejected from my tradelist for having flaws but they are available for trade. I would put them at one third a card "value" so 3 damaged cards vs. 1 of your cards. If you do want any of them, let me know and I will move them to my tradelist. I don't want to put them all there and cause matches for people expecting good cards and getting damaged cards in return. Some of the flaws are pretty big problems, some you will probably wonder why I didn't list it in my tradelist. While my collection doesn't demand perfection, I am very strict with condition on cards I send out in trade.

Trading Prioroties: (what makes me the happiest to get in trade, in no particular order)

  • 1995-96 and 1996-97 NBA Cards
  • 1994 NASCAR Cards
  • Any NASCAR card that actually focuses on the car
  • Automotive Non-Sport cards
  • New York Rangers
  • New York Knicks
  • New Jersey Nets (and Brooklyn and New York Nets, but the NJ era is my favorite
  • Elton Brand
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr.
  • Henrik Lundqvist
  • History related Non-Sports cards
  • Attractive women (with or without clothes)
  • Anything from Racing Champions I don't have
  • With that said, I will trade for anything at any time, whether it's on my wantlist or not. I prefer "quantity" to "quality" and I'm a set builder at heart.

Still need to enter Starting Lineups.  I enjoy collecting autographs, tennis, basketball, football, Olympic sports, and baseball.  Non-sport cards in my "collection" could likely be available if there's something you're looking for.

Variation Opinion Section:

With 1987, 1989, 1990, & 1991 Donruss, I only want 1 copy of each card number (except checklists); I have recently tried to put the "for trade" ones in the right variation, but those are likely not 100% accurate.  Same for 1987 Topps Football, 1991 Topps Football, 1991 Bowman Football, 1992 Topps Kids, 1992 Leaf (and Leaf Black Gold), 1992 Fleer, and most UD hologram backs.

With 1990 Topps Football, I would like both the disclaimer and non-disclaimer backs, so the variation is important and I have kept those "for trade" ones accurate.  1992 Donruss I just need the "factory set" numbering checklists so those variations are important.

With Brewers & Packers Police sets, I do not care which municipality the card is from, I just want 1 of each player.  I have not tried especially hard to put the "for trade" ones in the right variation, but if you'd like me to check specific ones, I'll do that.

Robin Yount, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Braves. I especially like Brewers police cards -- all the varieties and municipalities are the kind of obsessive type of collecting that I tend to like. So, I'll take any of those variations that I don't have, whether they are on a wantlist or not.

Otherwise, I used to write blogs but I got too busy with work for that. I used to trade a lot more too, but my wife's health has declined lately so I don't have a ton of time for that right now either. She used to take my packages to the post office for me but now she can't.

My old "Off Hiatus" blog has a ton of want lists and the like that I'm trying to phase out by entering my collection here at TCDB. I spend more time on Twitter than anywhere else these days, and I'm also a member of the SABR Baseball Cards Committee.

My Twitterati friends and I have Zoom calls intermittently where we just get together to shoot the breeze and talk about cards. We have anywhere from 5 to 25 people who have jumped on these calls at any one point in time. They are a lot of fun.

• Working on low to mid grade 1970 through 1972 complete Topps baseball sets, but I'll take any condition just to complete these sets. I'm focusing on these right now and I hope to trade as much for these as I can. I will buy if the price is right. I'm over halfway on 1970-1972 with HOF and High #'s remaining.

• Detroit Tigers Topps Team Sets, including SP (Complete 1958 to present)

• Detroit Lions Topps and Donruss post 2015 Team Sets, including SP (Complete 1956 to present)

• West Michigan Whitecaps Team Sets (Complete 1994 to present)

• Topps Traded/Update Sets (Complete 1974 to present)

• Topps Pro Debut Sets (Complete 2010 to present)

• MLB Mascots

• Just added (Jan 2022) 1984-1989 Topps Football Flagship sets to my wantlist.  I don't care what is in the copyright line (C* vs D*), just trying to get one of each number to complete the set. I was gifted 1981-1983 and I built a 1990 set when I was a kid (and finished as an adult here on TCDB). I traded away a lot of other 80's football I'm sure I had, but now I'm looking for the challenge of building other sets and get an excuse to open the mailbox and send out my many extras.

• Any other local teams of interest - Grand Rapids Griffins, Muskegon Lumberjacks, Grand Rapids Rampage, Traverse City Beach Bums, Traverse City Pit Spitters, etc.

I've been very blessed in my trades and transactions here on TCDB. Thank you to all. I will trade vintage for modern and vice versa as long as there is roughly equal value felt on both sides. I am a set builder and collecter. I do not speculate on my cards for future value. I do this for fun, not for profit. I will sell, but only to build a small bank of money to use for buying cards I can't trade for. I've traded hundreds of cards each way and I've done many 1 for 1 trades, so no trade is too big or small for me.

5 cards minimum for trades, please! (Unless it's a higher value card)

Hot tip! You can save $1-2 per package on shipping costs by using https://paypal.shipstation.com/orders

I collect everything Royals and Huskers (yes, even the "junk"). My trading goal/style is efficiency, so I'm looking to do 10-30 card trades for PWE (multiple PWEs is fine as well) and tracked packages for everything larger. If you have a good amount of cards I need, my preference is to trade for them all in one go instead of a few cards at a time. I work hard to condition note my cards if I don't find them close to Nrmt, so I ask that you do the same when we trade. Fair?

What you should expect in trading with me:

Accuracy: I will send exactly the cards you trade for, I strive for 100% every time, no missing cards, no wrong parallels, sorted in the same order TCDb organizes them so that you can quickly add them to your collection.
Detail: I will condition note cards that aren't close to Nrmt, no surprises!
Resolution: If I can't locate a requested card, I'll get you a suitable replacement right away.
Value: I deal in real-world value, not Beckett value, not TCDb value, etc, pricing is horrifically skewed for a zillion reasons with those sources. For the most part, we're not trading gold mines here, so just ballpark it and we'll go from there!

I try to keep my trade list stocked with a lot of inserts and parallels, so take a closer look if your wantlist is small! If you don't have cards I need in return, feel free to send me a purchase offer.

I will often propose quality for quantity trades, so if you are turned off by the card imbalance, we can adjust, everyone has different styles!

Also, don't ever work with Michael Deeter - aka 49ants. He deliberately damaged a 2400+ card purchase and scammed me out of 300+ cards. See thread: https://www.tradingcarddb.com/Forum.cfm/Page/O/ID/0/?MODE=VIEW&ThreadID=19255

I am one of the members that helps within the site.  I work closely with the IRs and can answer most questions.  Please send me a message if there is anything I can assist with.  If I don't know, I can certainly try to figure it out or direct you to a resource.

I am a player collector mainly...collecting Robin Yount, Ersan Ilyasova, Brett Favre, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Bobby Labonte.  In addition, I also want to collect most of the base sets for the Brewers, Bucks and Packers.  I am always looking for multiple copies of the Robin Yount 1990 Donruss #146 (any variation) or the Robin Yount 1988 Score #160 cards.  They have always reminded me of a better time, a simplier time.  I like the way these cards bring back those memories.

A few people outside of this site have been very interested in growing their collections; so I also am trying to get cards for these players as well.

- Animal cards for my boys

- Juan Soto for my brother.

- Derek Jeter, Wayne Gretzky, a few others for a buddy that I'm trying to convince to become a member.  He is a member now!!  His profile name is Electric Burrito.

If I happen to get anything else, that's cool too.

I like to trade!!  I mainly prefer PWE trades, but am set up for larger trades too.  I have a scale at home and the wife works at the post office so I rarely need to go there.  I like to get my trade list into the hands of members that could use them.  If this means that I give a lot more than I receive, this is fine with me.  You get the cards you need, I get the space back in my area.  I am open to buying and selling, but mainly, I am a trader.

Lately, I've been really collecting the old Brewer Police cards, they were issued for each community throughout Wisconsin.  But I have been especially looking for the Robin Yount cards.  I think there are over 760 different police sets issued between 1982 and 1993, with over 825 different cards that I am very interested in (He has two cards in the 1993 sets).  Currently, I have 235 different Yount cards.  It's actually been fun, but I have a long way to go.  Any of the other Brewers cards that I have would be available if you are interested, but let me check on the condition.  Since I am getting a lot of them through thrift stores, eBay and rummage sales, some are pretty ragged.  I also have Packers Police cards that would potentially be available too.

New Project:  I have been gathering information on Robin's 3,142 hits and would like to put a collection together of him and the pitchers that he hit off of.  This means that I am on the hunt for many, many copies of Robin's Topps cards, one copy for every hit within that year.  But also, many AL pitchers.  I plan to match up the pitcher's card with Robin's card and add a little write up of the at bat and the game.  I'm such a nerd.

My One & Done List - I think it would be neat to trade with every state.  So far, I have collected 49!!  One to go!!  Can't wait to have a trade in Wyoming!!  I also have traded with Canada, Australia, Italy, Norway, United Kingdom and the Netherlands, let's keep 'em coming!!

(IMPORTANT) I had to add this statement since being ripped off three times on large trades: Should you be a first time trader with me and no matter how many great feeback notes or how many digits your total trading number is I will insist you mail first and provide a tracking number that will be verified prior to my shipping your cards. I have lost over 2000 cards due to dishonest people on this site and it stops here and now. THIS IS NOT PERSONAL TO ANYONE it is just my way of protecting my product when trading! Again, to those easily offended traders, spoken in the words of the Capo: "Its not personal Sunny, it's just good business."

I trade for EX/MT to MT cards. Filling Baseball/Football sets. I have some Basketball and Hockey to trade for Football/Baseball. Fair value trades only! No 91 junk for 70s! All mistakes will be made right. I keep my stock in good condition and inform trade partners of defects. I'll expect same in return.

My Steeler and Pirate binders always have empty pages to fill. I also collect Tony Gwynn! Hit me up with a trade proposal and we'll see if we can get it done.

I'm a master set collector, plain and simple. Baseball, hockey, football and soccer (in that priority order). PC of Boston teams and MA/NH born players.

Priority collection projects:

1) Finishing 80s and 90s baseball inserts moving into the new century

2) Vintage, all sports

3) Finishing off hockey sets and inserts

4) Finishing off football sets and inserts

***FOR PROPOSED TRADES***

1. I WILL trade to my friends up north; always have, always will.

2. I WILL NOT trade cards out of my collection, FS/T only. If it’s in my collection, it’s because I want to keep it to meet my goals (whether I get there or not is a different story 😊)

3. I’m continuously updating my FS/T list as I have several large lots I am sorting through and adding here.

4. The nature of my work means I can work odd hours at times. It may take me several days before I get to your request. I know this is usually an understood condition for traders on here, but I just want to put it out there now especially for those I have yet to trade with.

5. I take trades first-come, first-serve style so a requested card may already be accounted for in another trade. I put this one out there because I have times where I was balancing 5-10 trades and have run into this.

6. I’m always open to counteroffers so please be flexible yourself.

7. I’m open to anything from small PWE to large lots.

8. I will trade across sports (baseball for football, etc.) so a trade doesn't have to revolve around one sport or even numbers.

For trades up to 20-30 cards, I try to ship PWE. I have successfully used multiple PWE's for larger trades also. Bubble mailers will be used for more valuable cards.

I always look for equal value in trades. I do not use Beckett nor this site for price comparison. I use 3rd party sites to gage values as they can indicate more real-world sales/selling prices. With that said I will NOT do pandemic pricing. So much stuff out there is artificially inflated right now and I will not “overpay” for an item. I don’t have hard ratios as to what I will trade (1 HOF = 5 commons, etc.). I know what I paid and can research value; just want fair value in return. This also means I’m open to off-balance trades where one of us get more cards than the other. Again, it’s about equal valuea nd both sides being happy.

For any vintage on my FS/T list I tried to be accurate as possible on condition. I can send pictures of any vintage upon request. I will trade for vintage, but I am a stickler for condition. I’m aiming for NM on my vintage sets. If you are going to send me anything from the modern era, I would expect NM or better. One would think that's a no-brainer, but you'd be surprised on how disappointed one can get...

I am only going to the post office once a week due to work. Please understand if I don't run out the door the next day to mail a trade.

***NON-TRADING MEMBERS***

I'll sell any cards on my for sale/trade list for a fair and reasonable price plus enough to cover shipping. I'm not in this to make a profit, but to help fellow collectors meet their goals. I am open to buying, but again, will not do pandemic pricing.

Speaking of which....(thanks Joshua (sportzcommish) for the inspiration)

I'm a collector, not an investor. If price is your main interest in trading, then please move along. I'm looking to fulfill each other's wants and needs as fairly as possible. I'm willing to fill your want list in return for my want list to be filled in as close to a card-for-card, era-for-era, star-for-star (regardless of sport), etc. that we can. I'm flexible, fair, and very fond of trading to increase our collections.

I've collected nearly 900 in a little more than a year. Anything you see on my Trade List can be had for SPs. I will gladly trade dozens of base cards or inserts for any photo variation I don't have, whether it's a Mike Trout variation or a Franklin Barretto. If I don't have it, I want it.

Willing to buy SSPs if we can't work out a trade.

Only paying via PayPal G and S unless you have a proven track record on the site.

***Mailing***

Anything I can easily and safely package in a PWE will be sent in that manner. Larger trades or those including more valuable or larger cards will be sent First Class with Tracking. These decisions are made at my discretion. I take a great deal of pride in delivering quality cards. If I send something PWE, you can be sure it is secure and well packaged. If there is anything wrong with anything you receive me, please let me know immediately.

born in 1959, clearwater, fl.  mom started my collection in 1961 with post cereal cards. added 62 and 63 and salada coins. she also got me some 63 fleer's. earliest memory is 1962 world series, been a Giant fan forever. started collecting seriously in 1968 and quit in 1975. then got caught up starting in 81 and quit again in 85. got caught up again in 1990 but made a serious mistake trading all of my 50's, 60's and 70's football, basketball and hockey to catch up on the missed baseball sets that are virtually worthless. i really like regional and advertising sets. just found this website and love it., trying to trade off some dupes to complete some sets and make a record of my collection for the family to use when i am gone.

trading guidelines:

1. for my vintage cards, i would prefer to trade same era for same era. for example 1952-1956, 1957-1964, 1965-1972. most of my vintage cards have some condition issues. i am not concerned much about condition of the vintage cards i receive.

2. my more recent cards (1980's and early 90's) are 99% in mt. to nr. mt. condition. if i find a card that is proposed for trade that is sub par, i will let you know. prefer to trade commons for commons, stars for stars, hof's for hof's, etc.  i prefer to use the values on this site to establish an equivalent value. i don't have time to search alternative sites for a card worth a quarter.

3. any size trade is fine for me, just trying to fill blanks in my sets without buying cards.

other collectibles:

i have a whole bunch of other stuff that can not be listed on this site. this would include r.c. cola cans, slurpee cups, pocket schedules, empty wax boxes from the 70's and 80's, hobby papers from the early 70's, card sales catalogs from late 60's and early 70's, sports illustrated and sporting news late 60's through mid 80's, quite a few uncut sheets from 70's & 80's, large vintage baseball glove collection and a bunch of other stuff. happy to use these items in trades also.

Now the #1 collector of Ryan Klesko cards on TCDB!  With more to come!

PC: Ryan Klesko, Dale Murphy, Dave Winfield, Dominique Wilkins, Michael Conforto, Adley Rutschman, Nick Madrigal, Trevor Larnach, Cadyn Grenier, Drew Rasmussen, Gary Payton II, some rookie/early Bo Jackson, rookie/early/unique Eric Lindros, rookie/early Junior Seau. Looking for any Oregon State Univ alum in OSU or Team USA gear (AC Green, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Jacoby Ellsbury, Steven Jackson, Gary Payton, Nick Barnett, Matt Moore, Ochocinco/Chad Johnson, Sean Mannion, Johnny Hekker, Darwin Barney, etc).

PLEASE SEND TRADE OFFERS.  It's my favorite part of the hobby.  Always willing to negotiate a good deal for both sides.  One card, or 10+ cards.  I'm fine with any size.

I do NOT collect/keep any other cards of any other players/teams.  If the card isn't a unique card to me of one of my guys above, it's not something I will keep.  I don't want duplicates either.  I'll trade it or sell it if it's something I think I can move; otherwise, no thanks.  But I DO want any card of any of my PC guys if I don't already have it.  My trade/sell and want/wish lists are updated, so if it's not on those lists, it's highly unlikely that I'm interested in it, or I already own it.

Fan of: all OSU sports, Braves, Red Sox, Blazers, Chargers, Flyers, Timbers, Tottenham FC.

Goal for VINTAGE ONLY CARDS (condition NOT very important...just no rips/tears, no writing on the front...some creases ok): Hank Aaron (preferably in a Milwaukie uniform, but not required), Mickey Mantle pre-1965 (earlier the better), Babe Ruth any year, Joe DiMaggio any year, Sandy Koufax any year, Ted Williams pre-1955, Jackie Robinson any year and Stan Musial pre-1958.  Prefer to stay as cheap as possible, but for the right card might go a little higher...obviously Mantle and those guys would be more.  Again, condition I know won't be great at these prices.  But I have a Roberto Clemente, Bob Gibson, Ernie Banks and a Willie Mays at these levels, and a few of Ted Williams, that I'm very happy with.

TCDB rankings as of 11/24/21:

Murphy (11th), Klesko (1st), Winfield (6th), Conforto (2nd), Madrigal (2nd), Rutschman (1st), Yovan (1st), Larnach (1st), Grenier (1st), Rasmussen (12th), Wilkins (3rd), S Jackson (119th).

VERY willing to trade/negotiate.  I live to trade...send me all trade requests!  Would prefer trades to purchases, although I know my PC is pretty limited in the grand scheme of things.  Just getting back to the hobby after approx 30 years out of it, and about 17 years after selling off 99% of it to pay for our wedding.  I forgot how much I loved it!

Cardinals Baseball any year any brand

Some Vintage Topps Baseball Set Building (in any condition).....

Also doing 9 page project of John Riggins (Football/Redskins), see want list, can use dupes of some.

Memphis Grizzlies basketball added to want list recently.

I have NOT separated my traders into dot and no dot variations (or letter variations).  If this matters to you, I do not mind checking for a particular one for your want list...

I do expect nm or better condition on 81-present cards (unless agreed upon lower condition in messages)  On vintage, I collect any condition except on upgrade lists.

If you do want to trade vintage, please be clear on what your condition requirements are....many of my extra vintage are in lower conditions..

Completed 2300+ trades with 548 different traders (in multiple groups) since 2005

Have lots of wants on my web page, not on this database

Everything in dupes collection is available for trade even if not in trade/sales list

I can only ship on weekends ....

Some of you may be frustrated that I turn off trades, but here is why:

I am in multiple trading groups, and simply do not have time to do more than 1 or 2 trades a week here.

Many times, the best way to trade with me is to PM about generally what you are looking for and I can respond timely if I have an 'opening' in my 1 or 2 trades per week (or get to you the following week or such)

I am open to offers if you want to buy although my primary focus is trading.

While vintage is listed on my FS/FT, I'm really only looking for vintage in return right now.

At this time, mailings can only go out on Mondays and Fridays.  This is still a hobby, and life gets in the way a lot more nowadays, so sometimes trading will be turned off for awhile.  If I have something of interest to you, please message me, and we can maybe work something out.

I deal with some health issues and I'm not always the best at responding to messages and getting slower pulling cards for trades. If you reach out and don't hear from me it's nothing personal. I'll be taking some time off from trading to put my trades and purchases into their final resting place. If you think we have a large trade that you don't mind waiting a day or two longer than usual send me a note what you are thinking about and i'll try to get back to you.

Update 1/11/2022: The trade window has closed. I will (slowly) finalize what is already has already been proposed.

RefsIntheBack is short for referees-in-the-background. Part card collection, part history project. I am trying to 1) collect (two of) every basketball card with a referee's face visible and 2) identify each referee.

I would love PWE trades - primarily in the US, occasionally international. *Warning* I am a slow processor and transactions take me a long time sometimes, mostly because I do most of my card "work" over the weekend.

Thank you, thank you,

Looking to trade for any and all St. Louis Cardinals that I do not have.  There are tons not listed on my want list that I need.  Always willing to listen to a trade offer.  Will also trade for Jose Altuve cards that my son needs.

PWE or bubble mailer is fine with me.  Please put all cards in sleeves and use blue (or any color) painters tape over the top of any top loaders or sheets.  I have received quite a few packages from traders who must own stock in a scotch tape company.  Don't over due it to the point that I may damage a card removing it from an envelope.  Bending over one edge of the tape to create a pull tab is always helpful.  Please let me know if you receive any damaged cards or postage due mailers from me so I can make it right.

I have not owned a price guide in over 10 years.  I try to use sold EBAY auction prices if trading for high dollar cards.  If I shoot you an offer that is way off, feel free to counter.  It is not my intention to insult anyone.

Last, but not least remember to HAVE FUN!  This is a hobby.

December 31, 2021 - I have turned trading back on as some are asking for trades. This does not change my opinion stated below.

I will continue to accept PWE trades that have at least 12 cards coming my way (or something pretty special) but continue to prefer larger trades, i.e. 300+ cards each direction. My VAR are double checked, at the time I listed it and again when I pull it for trade, to make sure you get the right one. I do ask that you do the same, especially in the parallel sets (I have received too many base cards when the parallel was offered). My lists are my priorities; if you offer me some of those, then I will be happier to accept.  If you don't bother checking my priorities and just offer me several from the same set just because it is easier for you and I find you have several from my lists, then it is just as easy for me to decline your laziness. I will help you if you help me.

As of December 31, 2021 I have sent 58,314 cards in trade, sales or PIF to other members; in return, I have received 50,152. Thanks to all the good traders on this site, especially those who have learned how to economize shipping across the border, approximately $1.80 for a PWE with 18 cards in it.

--------------------------------------------

December 4, 2021 - Today I have turned off my trading, not because I need to organize my collection or anything like that but because this site and its elitist clique have finally driven me to the point where I need to step away from the majority of what goes on here on TCDb.

It is a shame that a site that has rejuvenated the hobby for so many collectors can also drive away some long time collectors. Over the years I have watched the changes happening on this site that has taken it from the greatest collecting site on the internet to merely a decent tool to track one's collection. I have also watched many of the better members on this site who were always there to help answer questions for new members, no longer be active in the forums all because they were also sickened by some of those most active there. I have read so many rude responses to queries by new members in the Forums that I wonder why anyone new to the site would even stay. Seven years ago when I first registered, it was not like this. In the last 2 years I have seen enough hatred and anger expressed in the forums to match Facebook.

I used to contribute where I could to help this site.  Uploading checklists, scanning cards and uploading images, fixing notes, submitting IR to have things corrected that I could not.  Slowly my desire to help was eroded by those who want to have total control over the site. I believe their wish is to eliminate all others who are not in the clique from being able to do anything here as they believe they are the only ones who know everything in the hobby. They quickly deter new members from participating with their aggressive responses in the Forums and they find ways to block older members who may voice things against their ideas.

Well done guys; you've succeeded in silencing another one.

I am back trading  Life decided to get in the way but will keep trading to keep everything as fun as possible for my sons and I. They both help me with trades as to help with home schooling and cause we enjoy spending time and doing it together. Bright spot of the day is when trade comes in so they can pull the cards and help verify the condition and if the count is correct.

My 11 yr old son has got my passion back, looking for pretty much everything and have many duplicates that I hope you can use. Check back often as I buy and trade a lot. I am not opposed to any "FAIR" trade.

Collecting these Capitals players regardless of the set brand: Dale Hunter, Peter Bondra, Chris Simon, and Olaf Kolzig.

All of the above should be in my wantlist (I check on and update it periodically). I have Chrome products in my wantlist, but I'm not really seeking them out through trades. They are there so I don't pick up duplicates while searching through the bins at my local card shops. I'm interested more in the base sets for now.

My card-related goals for 2022:

  • Upload the missing images of cards I have in my collection to the TCDB site.
  • Make 50 trades.
  • Exceed 4,000 Orioles cards in my collection (I just went over the 3,000 card mark on 1-8-2022).
  • Complete all of the Bowman base Orioles team sets in my collection (maybe not the 1954 and 1955 years... yet).
  • Exceed 800 Capitals cards in my collection (currently at 643).
  • Make some more friends at the TCDB.

Thanks for stopping by! HAPPY COLLECTING!

Bring me your creased and worn vintage cards and they'll have a loving home to spend the rest of their lives.

Check out my One-and-Done Lists below and if I'm able I'll throw in extra for helping complete those particular sets.

***Unfortunately my NO TRADE LIST is growing due to the lack of civility. When you do not respond to counters or decline without expressing a reason, then it's on the NO TRADE LIST regardless of how much I want what you have. I'm an easy going guy, but this is a hot button issue for me. No apologies for it either.***

*Consider my baseball and hockey vintage traders on a Bell Curve with the majority at Gd/Vg. I'M WORKING TOWARD LOGGING ALL VINTAGE WITH ISSUES, SO IF THEY'RE ALREADY GRADED, THEN THERE'S SOMETHING SIGNIFICANT ENOUGH TO BE IDENTIFIED AS SUCH. Since it's a work in progress, scans will always be provided on questionable ones based on your condition demands.*

My priorities are these and they must be part of an offer for me to consider in trades involving less than 18-cards each way:

  • Any vintage (pre-1980) want from any sport
  • Any wax box cards
  • Any food issues
  • Any vintage/modern "parallels" such as Deckle Edge, Scratch-Offs, Booklets, etc.
  • Any Collect-a-Books from the various sports
  • Any of these modern sets
    • 1987 any set except minis (Baseball and Hockey)
    • 1999 Upper Deck Ovation (Baseball)
    • 2004 Topps Cracker Jack (Baseball)
    • New Age Performers series (Baseball)

My valuation method is simple and it is applied consistently 99% of the time, but I can be flexible on either end of a trade:

  • Era-for-Era, HOF-for-HOF, common-for-common
  • Vintage will rarely ever be valued less than ANY modern card
  • I DO NOT USE TCDB PRICING AS A FACTOR - (If you do, that's your prerogative, and I suggest you look elsewhere for a trade)

I communicate as much as needed as my goal is that both parties in a trade are satisfied. I will send scans of any vintage I offer upon request because I do not trust my "grading" skills.

My condition requirements are very flexible on vintage (any pre-1980) card. Here are my "standards":

  • Creases, single, multiple, frontal, or otherwise are okay
  • Corners rounded, dinged, bent are okay
  • Other wear like little nicks on edges, surface scratches, slight fades are okay
  • Defacements by marks or paper loss, especially on fronts are NOT okay
  • Severely off-centered to where a label is cutoff or another card is visible are NOT okay

I don't expect your condition requirements to match mine.

For the "Right" deal I will work on modern-for-vintage trades going either way and am willing to hash things out, but those are not very often.

Finally, to reiterate, if cards you're offering are not mentioned in the list above, then I need for a deal to be at least 18-cards going each way.

Due to retirement I'm on a limited income and keep a strict budget so I trade mainly using PWEs and if a larger trade can be done cheaper using multiple PWEs, then I'll go that route.

All in all I believe I'm a fair, honest, and flexible trader and am willing to work things out. I am never offended by a counter offer and hope that neither are you.

Collecting Atlanta Braves, especially: Glavine, Albies, Acuna, Freeman, Fried, Soroka, Riley, top prospects.  Interested in any Braves autos, relics, serial numbered cards, and prospect cards as well.  Doesn't really matter of who.

Also former NC State Wolfpack alums in all sports (some notables: Trea Turner, Philp Rivers, Torry Holt, T.J. Warren, Carlos Rodon, Mario Williams, Nyheim Hines, Russell Wilson)

Random sets I'm trying to complete because they make me smile: 2020 Diamond Kings DK 206 (7/20), 2020 Diamond Kings All Time Diamond Kings (10/30), 2020 Update Prospects (25/30), and 2021 Debut Diamond Kings (14/30).

Always up for a fair trade, so if I have something you like, send me a proposal.  Prefer PWE deals but can make any work.  Will send PWE unless specifically agreed to do BMWT.  Happy to trade from my standard collection too if the deal is right.

*Several of the junk wax variations may be incorrect, so let me know if that's important to you and I'll verify before proceeding.*

IF POSSIBLE, please try to line up similar cards (year for year, base for base, insert for insert, etc.).  I love Tom Glavine, but I've been getting a lot of 0.10 base offers from the 90s seeking top current rookies in return.  I don't really care much about value, but within reason.  Thank you!

I am a baseball set collector, 1971-present. In addition, I pc Red Sox, Rookie Cards, Ryne Sandberg, Cal Ripken, Jr., Gary Carter, Freddie Freeman, Dansby Swanson, Bo Bichette, Cavan Biggio, Gavin Lux, and Bobby Witt, Jr.

I'm still working on populating my collection, so my For Trade and Want Lists are both works in progress.

I'm interested in trading/selling my duplicates and non-pc cards for cards to complete my sets and pc.

Along the way, I've picked up some football, basketball, and hockey cards in various mixed lots that I've purchased. I've started to add these to my for sale/trade list. As I really don't collect these sports, other than a few Patriots, Bruins or Syracuse alums, I am absolutely interested in trading these for baseball cards on my want list.

While I'm open to trades of any size, unless it's a higer value card or a couple of inserts/parallels, I prefer trades to be a minimum of 5 cards.

Let's make a deal!

****Mailing from a US military address in Japan****

I will ship and receive USPS from a Fleet Post Office (FPO) at standard USPS rates and procedures. Anything larger than a PWE coming my way will require a customs declaration to be completed by the sender at no additional cost. This process is largely automated and/or straighforward if you're using Click n Ship, Stamps.com, Pirateship etc.

Just about any Yankees card is a welcomed addition to my collection. I have not gone to the trouble of adding all SN, parallels, SPs etc. to my wantlist but I would also like to trade for these. Finishing off any Topps sets or subsets is my highest priority. My lowest priority wants are unlicensed releases and Bowman.

When trading for any cards from 1980 onwards I am only interested in EX condition or better.

>99% of my listed cards are pack pulled as of my TCDb join date and are generally in "pack fresh" condition.

If you have specific mailing requirements or requests please let me know when proposing or accepting a trade offer.

2 - Various set ventures (baseball - 1972 Topps, 2014 Topps 1989 die-cut minis, Archives, Heritage sets, then hockey sets)

If there are any other categories of want lists, they would fall between set completion and HOFers.

TRADING, BUT, PLEASE READ:

If I make you a trade proposal, and you don't want to trade, or you need time, or cards I want are pending, or I've unintentionally lowballed you, it's okay...i can deal with it.  I'd appreciate some sort of response though!  If you have time to log on daily, you should have time to respond with a short note!  TIA!  That being said...Lotsa baseball and football for trade or sale!!  I try to respond to proposals in a timely fashion and, at least acknowledge that the proposal was received.

I usually don't pull my end before making a proposal; most times, I'm trying to get a feel for how doable it is, and it saves me from having to refile cards if things fizzle out or if I'm countered.  I will, however, (usually) pull before accepting a trade.  I have some physical limitations, so your patience is appreciated!

My top priorities are..

2020 Bowman Sets .. BPs, BCPs

2020 Topps Heritage High Series Set (just SPs, thanks to belijr (John) for Lou Bob!!)

2001-2007 Bowman Heritage

Recent Phillies teamsets and inserts

2000-2005 Topps Traded/Update sets

I love to trade, will reluctantly sell ... cheap, if we cannot swap!  PLMK what I have that you can't live without!  Phillies is my team, and I do Topps and Topps and Bowman Heritage sets and Phillies team sets, all brands.  100s of references available - here, Facebook and online groups (Bench, TradingBases).  PWE trades are great - bubbles used if worth the shipping costs!  Slowing down though - the old body won't let me hoss those 5000 count boxes too much - thanks in advance for your patience with me!!

Realized that I need more time to update my collection. I have cards still needing to be catalogued that might fill in some of my "wants". Also need to get a better handle on my storage system. Misisng some cards people want to trade for. My estimate is I only have 30% of my collection in the database. I'll open it back up after the new year. In the meantime, if you see a card or two you really have to have and can't wait, shoot me a message, but be sure it's not some lowball offfer like "hey, how about you trade your Jerry Rice Rookie card for this Topps 1998 common that you don't have?".

Going to take some time to get my collection organized. To be honest, I don't know what I have, what I want to collect and what I want to get rid of. This site has given me the push I needed to organize things. I am trading but not everything (maybe 50%) isn't recorded. I plan on trying to focus on just baseball, football and non-sports going forward. That's why i haven't added most of my basketball cards yet. I like oddball items, not just cards...sport coins, medallions, etc. Please bear with me...

When trying to evaluate a trade offer, I use the database median prices as a guideline to gauge fairness of the offer. I don't have to have $4$, especially if I see something that I think is cool. Always willing to overpay for something I really want but not for cards just to fill up a set. Does that make sense?

Collecting: I'm mostly a set builder, focusing on baseball, footband and non-sports (movies and superhero type cards).

- Always had a soft spot for holograms.

- Prefer smaller sets to the mega series of earlier days. 900 card sets? Meh...

- Just got back into modern set building and I'm really liking Topps Allen & Ginter sets, although the gazillion subsets and variations is confusing/annoying.

- Really don't have true "favorite players" or teams. Gravitate towards Red Sox and Patriots but I don't fixate on them anymore.

Back to sorting cards and updating my collection online...
