Hi there, 

I have close to 50,000 sports and non-sports cards to put into the site.  Adding cards each week is like having a full time job.  Looks like a great place to find the missing cards from different card sets.  I started collecting comic cards and football cards when I was a teenager.  My Dad collected Movie, TV show, and Sports cards when he was younger, so I now have a lot of different card sets I'm looking to complete.  

I collect all San Francisco 49er cards, Star Wars cards, Comic cards, and various Non Sports cards.  I have Individual collections of Steve Young, Jery Rice, Ronnie Lott, Barry Sanders, Randy Moss, Darth Vader, Wolverine, Spiderman, and Venom cards.  

I love the organization and inventory from collecting cards.  Collecting is like having a full time job.  

I'm open to mixed trades....Football for Baseball, vice versa, etc.  

Collecting all Topps Baseball base sets from 1956 to 2020. 

If I have something on my For Sale/Trade list that you need and you have nothing to trade me, I am more than willing to sell most cards on my FS/T list at a very reasonable price...especially to fellow set collectors!

My Collecting History

My first pack of cards was in 1971.  My mom bought me the pack of cards from Bullman's Market in Mt. Chestnut, I remember that.  But I was only 5, so the collecting bug didn't take hold.  It wasn't until I was 11 in the summer of 1977 when I started collecting baseball cards.  I would buy all the 15 cent packs of baseball cards I could with my allowance money and the money I made from my paper route. Later that summer my grandmother had given me a bag full of hundreds of older baseball cards she had collected.  I didn't know many of the players names at the time, but thought they were cool.  Turns out they were mostly 1960 Topps baseball with a bunch of 1959 and 1961 Topps baseball.  In the summer of 1979 my father took me and my friends to a flea market in North Park, I think it was called Wildwood Flea Market.  It was the first time I saw a dealer that sold baseball cards.  I remember buying a Mint condition 1960 Yogi Berra for $5.00, I am sure there were others, but the Berra is the one I remember.  (I may add more to this in the future, but that is enough for now.)

What I Collect

Mostly vintage baseball.  Vintage being 1980 and before.  After 1980 just cards that I really like or have a special meaning to me.  My favorite sets are 1954, 1956 and 1960 Topps Baseball, also 1949 and 1953 Bowman Baseball.

Trading, BV and card condition:
I do trades of all sizes. I can do 100 for me and 1,000 for you or the other way around. I use Beckett bv to insure the trade bv is close on both sides. Condition of my cards: 1979 and older are mostly G-VG. Some may have creasing, off-centered etc. 1980

I'm primarily on this site to collect Kansas City Royals, I also want to help others complete sets and make some friends through the hobby.  Ideally, my trade would be quantity coming to you, and some small quality coming back to me.  I am very willing to send 15-25 commons for 1 or 2 vintage cards, parallel, numbered card, cheap auto, etc.  I know a lot of you all are here for the same reason so it differs when it comes to the Royals, gimmie quantity for quality.  I'd also rather send enough cards back and forth that are worth more than the $1 it costs to send unless its something special or worth a couple bucks, thanks for understanding.

Looking to build out Topps baseball sets, primarily from 1970 to present, and building my Tom Seaver collection (currently in the top 10 on TCDB).  Collected back in the early to mid 70s as a kid, then lost interest in high school (girls!).  Back to it in the mid 80s and sporadically since. 

Grew up in upstate New York as a Mets fan (hence the Seaver collection) but have lived in Chicago since the early 80s and now a fan of both the Cubs and White Sox (yes, you can root for both - I just want winning baseball in Chicago!)

All football, basketball, hockey and non-Topps baseball cards (except Seavers) are availalble for trades.

A note on condition:  most of the cards I have for sale/trade that are from 1973 and earlier are of the "well loved" variety and have some sort of flaw (bad corners, creases, writing, etc.).  I would definitely be interested in trading them for similar condition cards from the same or similar years.  Shoot me an offer or a message if you have some you'd be interested.  Thanks.
