Stopped building sets in 09 and now have stopped chasing SFGiants/49ers in 2019. But still have lots of wants. Due to a generous divorce court had to return to work, so trading is still important to me but now pulling and mailing can only be done on fridays and saturdays.

Will sell or trade.  EMT, cash or cheque for Canadians and cash or check for Americans.   Can not accept PayPal.

If you send me a proposal, I will answer you promptly.  I expect nothing less in return when the roles are reversed.   If nothing is heard back within 48 hours, I'll look elsewhere.  I ship quickly and would ideally seek the same from you.

4/8/23:  35,000 fresh cards to be added shortly, including 25,000 baseball HOFers!

6/6/23:  I have huge player collections of the following players NOT listed in my sale/trade.  There are 10,000+ cards of these players available.  I've just lost patience in adding them to the site.  After struggling to add 25,000 modern cards to the site, I'm done. These things and their pointless variations are far too tedious to get through. If you're looking for any of these players' cards, send me a list:

Ichiro Suzuki

Pedro Martinez

Chipper Jones

Hideki Matsui

Mariano Rivera

Barry Larkin

Greg Maddux

John Smoltz

Pedro Martinez

Joe Mauer

Curt Schilling

Tony Gwynn

Rickey Henderson

Ryne Sandberg

I've met lots of great people through this site and it's been enjoyable trading with all of you!  I have to say that practically all of you have been easy to trade with and have kept an eye on condition.  There have been next to no issues in all my trades, so that says a lot for the community as a whole.

My higher value cards are sale only and prices are firm unless you might happen to have one of my higher value needs in return.  I'm usually much less picky on condition when it comes to high valued cards.

Condition of cards I'm looking for:

Pre-1970:  VG-EX or better, no creases, miscuts, staining or terribly O/C.  Might be OK with light creasing but would need to see photos before committing. I am open to much lower grades with the pricier cards on my wantlist, such as HOF RCs. Send me some photos and we'll take it from there.

1970-79:  EX or better, no creases, wrinkles, miscuts, staining or terribly O/C

1980-onward:  NM or better, no creases, wrinkles, miscuts, staining or terribly O/C

REGARDING THE CARDS I HAVE LISTED:

Pre-1970:  Conditions vary.  It's too tedious to list conditions on this site.  Just ask.  Save us both some time by letting me know your minimum acceptable conditions beforehand.

1970-75:  Generally EX or better.  Just ask.

1976-79:  Generally EX-NM.

1980-onward:  Generally NM or better.

1990-91 Pro Set hockey:  I DO NOT HAVE THE ERRORS OR VARIATIONS THAT ARE LISTED.  PLEASE STOP ASKING.

1980's-90's Donruss, Fleer, Topps Big, Leaf, Stadium Club, etc.:  I AM DOING MY BEST IN CHECKING FOR THE MISSING PERIODS ASTRISKS, "A", "B", ETC., BUT ONLY ON CARDS WHERE THE PRINT IS LARGE ENOUGH.   Please note that I have not checked most cards from 1991 onward.  It is painful on my eyes, and nobody wants to go blind in the hopes of making literally three cents.  If this matters a lot to you, just ask and I will check, but please keep requests to a minimum.

Looking to build PHILLIES team sets, Complete Topps and Topps Heritage Sets. made trades from cards to a trade of 800 cards. I will trade with members in Canada & Austrailia, even worldwide.

I can not find  my SP cards to trade.   I misplaced all my SP in a box back in the spring.   I keep looking but can not locate them all

• Working on low to mid grade 1970 through 1972 complete Topps baseball sets, but I'll take any condition just to complete these sets. I'm focusing on these right now and I hope to trade as much for these as I can. I will buy if the price is right. I'm over halfway on 1970-1972 with HOF and High #'s remaining.

• Detroit Tigers Topps Team Sets, including SP (Complete 1958 to present)

• Detroit Lions Topps and Donruss post 2015 Team Sets, including SP (Complete 1956 to present)

• West Michigan Whitecaps Team Sets (Complete 1994 to present)

• Topps Flagship Baseball Sets 1970 to present (Complete 1973 to present)

• Topps Flagship Football Sets (Complete 1981-1992)

• Topps Traded/Update Sets (Complete 1974 to present)

• Topps Pro Debut Sets (Complete 2010 to present)

• MLB Mascots

• Any other local teams of interest - Grand Rapids Griffins, Muskegon Lumberjacks, Grand Rapids Rampage, Traverse City Beach Bums, Traverse City Pit Spitters, etc.

I've been very blessed in my trades and transactions here on TCDB. Thank you to all. I will trade vintage for modern and vice versa as long as there is roughly equal value felt on both sides. I am a set builder and collecter. I do not speculate on my cards for future value. I do this for fun, not for profit. I will sell, but only to build a small bank of money to use for buying cards I can't trade for. I've traded hundreds of cards each way and I've done many 1 for 1 trades, so no trade is too big or small for me.

In packaging, I use painter's tape ONLY. I try to use a photo mailer for small trades of about a dozen or less.  I use #10 PWE for trades up to about 2 dozen cards and maybe 2 PWE for 4 dozen.  After 50 cards, I typically will use a bubble mailer with tracking.  If it is 200 or more cards, they will likely be in a box well padded.

Slowly completing Topps baseball sets, moving back from the early 1970s. Hope to have 1969 done soon. Doubt I'll ever complete 1968 (due to 1-2 cards), but have made good progress on 1963 and 1965.

Also interested in very elusive 3rd series 1972 Topps football, and completing Topps hockey going back to 1969-1970. Always open to trades for vintage 1960s/1970s..

Yankees are my number one team.

Dolphins are my favorite football team.

The Miami Heat is my number one basketball team.

I have a bunch of cards that have been occupying my wife's Linen Closet for 20 years now.

She would like her closet back.

So now that I have the time, I will be listing them for sale/trade here

or on Ebay (9SEC93LX).

When trading it is assumed that all cards are ~NM or better for moderns.

Earlier years I will accept EX cards in trade.

I understand that some years the centering was particularly heinous for some brands (Topps).

But I do NOT collect cards that are miscut so severely that the borders are missing/almost missing.

Any exceptions conditionwise should be mentioned BEFORE shipping.

I collect/store my cards by teamsets and will be looking to trade away the "other teams" to feed my Yankees/Dolphins addiction...

I'll do PWE or larger trades/sales as necessary.

But must ask that you make all trades worth at least the cost of postage or better.

(IMPORTANT) I had to add this statement since being ripped off three times on large trades: Should you be a first-time trader with me and no matter how many great feedback notes or how many digits your total trading number is I will insist you mail first and provide a tracking number on larger trades that will be verified prior to my shipping your cards. I have had to do something here since I have lost over 2000 cards due to dishonest people on this site and it stops here and now. THIS IS NOT PERSONAL TO ANYONE it is just my way of protecting my product when trading! Again, to those easily offended traders, spoken in the words of the CAPO: "It's not personal Sunny, it's just good business". Smaller, low dollar trades would naturally not fall into this category and if You and I have traded in the past, please disregard.

I trade for EX/MT to MT cards. Filling Baseball/Football sets. I have some Basketball and Hockey to trade for Football/Baseball. Fair value trades only! No 91 junk for 70s! All mistakes will be made right. I keep my stock in good condition and inform trade partners of defects. I'll expect same in return.

My Steeler and Pirate binders always have empty pages to fill. I also collect Tony Gwynn and followed his entire career God rest his soul! Hit me up with a trade proposal and we'll see if we can get it done.

Typcially do PWE trades of 30 cards or less but am usually up for just about anything. Happy to review what Reds you have on your trade list if you are not seeing something on my Wantlist.

  • Reduce my For Sale/Trade list by a net 1000 cards (currently at 6353).  UPDATE May 19--Decided to let go a lot of my Reds doubles so failing pretty bad on this one (currently at 7497)
  • Complete a minimum of 3 random acts of kindness (send some cards someone's way to help them out or celebrate a birthday or just becuase!)
  • Have fun collecting!

Trading/Selling all non-Cincinnait Reds cards. Need some junk era stuff?  We should trade!

I am very open to trade proposals and also happy to SELL.  I also buy cards from folks on here from time to time if they have a nice lot of Reds I need.  I also welcome counter offers for trades that I initiate--so please feel free to review my lists and come back with an offer that works for both of us.  My sincere wish is that every trade is a win-win for all.

Let's make some trades!  Go Redlegs!

*Of note, some of the 70s baseball and football cards on my tradelist have conditions indicated and some do not.  It's a work in progress for me to have all of these updated.  If you have any questions about any, I'd be happy to answer them.  If you need/want fillers, they can be had for minimal/no trade depending on the situation. Thanks!

I have enjoyed this website for a nearly a decade and will continue to use it to manage my collection.  However, I have shut off trading for the following reasons.

1) Shipping is either too expensive or too time consuming.  The USPS refuses to follow their own guidelines and insists on charging $4-$5 dollars for packages that should be considered large envelopes.  In order to get around these charges, I am forced to spend too much time creating protective packaging to shove in a #10 envelope.  No thanks.

2) In the past couple years I have had several absurd and/or lopsided trade offers.  It's easy to decline, but a few traders just keep sending their garbage offers.

3)  Too much time required to pull cards for large PC trades.  I like large trades, but pulling trade offers that span 80 different sets can take several hours.  Again, no thanks.

4)  Actualy had a couple traders respond regarding the quality of the cards they received.  We're not talking about physical condition, they are actually complaining about the print quality, centering or "snowy" cards.  This was the perverbial straw that broke the camel's back.  I have gone to the extreme and provided condition for vintage cards in my collection.  In addition, I carefully inspect and throw away junkwax and newer cards that are not in NM or better condition.  I am rewarded for these efforts with dorks taking a magnifying glass to their cards and actually wasting my time with their findings.

Now if you have read this far and want to trade me, I will consider, but they must be BIG trades of 100 cards or more.  If interested, please send me a message and I will open trading.

Thanks for understanding - Mark

I am set set builder strictly with baseball any and all sets are wanted.

Due to the limit on how many cards that can be placed on the wantlist, if you don't see it in my collection then I want it.

I DO NOT trade from my Collection unless there are two of the same card that you are needing.

As of right now My Trade list is turned off while I try and finally get organized 9/22/2023.

Thanks,

I began collecting cards in the 1970's while growing up. Kind of got back into it in the 1980's and began collecting complete sets. However, after about a 25 year pause from collecting, in 2021 I decided to sell most of my complete sets and concentrate on Detroit Tigers along with some PC favorites.

PC - Al Kaline, Bill Freehan, Kirk Gibson, Alan Trammell, Jack Morris, Lou Whitaker, Curtis Granderson, George Brett, Pete Rose, Nolan Ryan, Johnny Bench. If any of these cards are not on my WL and I do not have it, I am interested.

In January I added some football cards for trade. However, I do not want football cards in return, only baseball.

In March of 2022 I decided to set a goal of obtaining at least one card of every HOF. Reprints and Turn Back the Clock type cards are fine to fulfill my list. Always looking for a trade for these cards that I do not have in my HOF Collection. Many of these I have 2 to 4 cards on WL so I have a better chance of getting a match. However only looking for one unless it is some HOFers mentioned in my PC.

In regards to variation cards, I am not concerned about it. I typically put both on my WL with the intentions of getting one or the other. Once I receive one, I remove the other(s) from my WL. Thus, if they come up in a trade, no need to check the variation for me.

Generally speaking, my cards from 1979 and earlier that are for trade, I am hoping to replace with cards on my WL in the same time frame. Cards from 1980 to present for trade, for cards on my WL from that era.

Ideal trades are from 10-25 using PWE for modern cards. Less cards for vintage works. However, there are always exceptions!

If I make a proposal I do not have a problem with a member declining it or making a counter. However, I do appreciate a short response why.
