Stopped building sets in 09 and now have stopped chasing SFGiants/49ers in 2019. But still have lots of wants. Due to a generous divorce court had to return to work, so trading is still important to me but now pulling and mailing can only be done on fridays and saturdays.

AUGUST 2023 - I am going on Super-Slowdown Mode.  I plan to be back in earnest mid-January 2024.

Until then, I will not go completely inactive, but the communication and trading will be very very slow.

The trades I will consider during Super-Slowdown Mode would include hits to my wantlist involving:

1. Vintage (pre-1980) football and basketball
2. 1983-85 Star Basketball
3. Men's and Women's FIFA World Cup Stickers
4. MLS
5. Julius Erving
6. Pokemon from Base Set era through E-Card era (1999-mid-2003)

I will occasionally be on TCDB, adding some waitlists and such, but I will not be proactively trading until the new year.

GENERAL INFO:

WHAT I COLLECT:

I am a set builder of select Football, Basketball, and Soccer sets.  At least one master set per year with Stadium Club and Legends sets favored.  In soccer, I collect MLS sets and 1994 Upper Deck World Cup sets.

I also collect to complete sticker books relating to NFL and World Cup soccer (Men and Women). *** Looking for the 2011 Women's World Cup sticker book (and/or stickers). ***

AND, master sets of Raiders, Browns, Packers, Toledo Rockets, Columbus Crew, and Latino NFL players.  AND master player collections of Julius Erving, Allen Iverson, and now Ja Morant.

CONDITION:

Condition is not the biggest thing for me at all (especially for vintage cards).  If condition is really important to you, I may not be the best trade partner.  Most of my cards are great, but condition has never been my focus.

OTHER INFO:

My sons collect Pokemon cards, and I have added their tradeables and wants herein.  We are happy to mix cards types and eras in trades.

I started collecting as a kid in 1974, baseball, football, and basketball cards. I purchased my first packs for $0.10 in 1974 at Zane's Market in Dover, Ohio.  The next year the price jumped to $0.15.  I quickly learned to count by 15s.  I sold my entire collection in 1989 to get an apartment after graduating from college.  I regret it to this day.  I have been rebuilding my collection over the last 25 years thanks to a very supportive and encouraging wife.  I collect Topps base sets and pre 1990 baseball cards only.   I am always looking for cards I need. I have thousands of doubles from mid 70s - 80s to present plus others. Will trade vintage for vintage but not interested in most cards from last 30 years except Cleveland Indians cards. Looking for nice mid grade vintage on trades, min VG/VG+, or  lower grade on some the HOFers pre 1970.

Complete sets; Topps 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2021, 2022, 2023.

Currently working on; Trying for better quality of stars' cards in my sets and finishing off the 1973 Topps set.

Players that I collect; Kenny Lofton, Omar Vizquel, Jim Thome, Cleveland Indians' team sets, HOFers concentrating on pre-1990 players.

Let's trade!!

I am not accepting any trades at this time.  I am in a position that I feel I need to begin selling off my collection. I am moving towards selling off my whole collection but I am only posting the higher value cards right now.  If you see something you like, whether its in a collection or on my FS&T list, feel free to make me an offer.  For most commons, I am asking for $0.18 per card, which is the Sportlots minimum price.  I will leave the rest of my profile as is just in case something changes and I don't need to sell everything off.

If you accept an offer from me, I will strive to ship within 24 hours.  I will also try to respond to offers within 48 hours and, if it will take longer than that to pull the cards, I will do my best message you within 48 hours.

I have done my best to list the conditions per the PSA grading scale if I consider them less than EX-MT.  I do not profess to be proficient at grading.  If I think a card is less than EX-MT and it is not marked as such, I will do my best to let you know in the message.

Thank you for taking a look.

I'm working on 1970 Topps Baseball and 1971 Topps Baseball complete sets now.  I have doubles to trade from 1970 through 1980.  Most of the cards I have to trade are VG-EX+.  The 1975s I have for trade are pretty rough, whereas the 1973, 74, and 76s are in really good shape.

I have a lots of 1981 Topps Baseball commons to trade, NRMNT.

Not a lot of rules and regulations for trading. I just ask the following;

  1. I am not buying.
  2. Please do not send damaged cards from 1980 or later. Please let me know ahead if cards are damaged.
  3. I use a plain white envelope for up to ~27 cards (if they fit safely) and padded envelope for more.
  4. 1991 Topps Stadium Club variations do not concern me. I am just collecting a base set.
  5. Keep if fair.

Update: Temporarily turning off trading due to a heavier work schedule. I will sporadically turn on trading from time to time--just need to slow down the pace of trading so that my trading partners aren't waiting so long to get deals done.

Topps Baseball (flagship 1969-present) and now Topps Heritage Baseball 2018-present along with some oddball/food-issued cards. I'm also trying to complete my sets of older Topps football and baseball (1969-73) in NM condition (sorry for being a condition snob). Always happy to leave positive feedback.

If my For Sale/Trade list has pre-1975 vintage or SPs or serial-#'s cards you want, I will trade them for pre-1975 vintage or SPs or low serial-#'s cards (mix or match) that I need, i.e. a pre-1975 vintage for SP or a SP for low SN or low SN for pre-1975 vintage, then offers will be happily be considered. :)

Condition is important to me. I do not want any modern cards that are not at least NRMT/MT for modern cards. For me this means back to 1980.

I collected cards from 1980-94.  I'm just got started on TCDB in April of 2021.

I have many cards to sell or trade & would love to help you complete your sets.

I'm fine with PWE for small trades, but I love to make big trades.

I'm trying to finish my 79 Topps and 81 & 83 Fleer sets.

I'm also looking to finish off a few random inserts here and there as well as my Isiah Thomas & Steve Yzerman PC.

There are a few cards on my want list that have VAR C or D trademarks.  I don't care about that.  I just want the card of the player.

I collect: NBA, NHL, NASCAR, Star Wars, History, Military, DC Comics, Olympics, whatever interests me

Current project is trying to get at least one card of everyone to ever get one for NBA, NHL and NASCAR. Also working on getting at least one example of every set ever for the above sports. (Wantlists on Cardboard History)

I have some health problems that make it challenging for me to get to my trade stash. It makes me a slow trader as there are some days when I'm simply in too much pain to access the boxes. My health problems are not transferable so you do not need to fear catching anything from trading with me. I generally only can mail on Saturdays.

Trading:

I prefer to trade 1 card for 1 card. I do not care about any made up "book value". I will gladly trade more than one card for some as well...there are a few cards on my tradelist that I do need more than one card for in return though. I only put sets on my wantlist that are close to completion, so if you have something else in any of the three sports or the Non-Sports topics I focus on, odds are I will want it. Only reason I wouldn't is if I had it already.  If you don't have anything from the topics I mainly collect, but I have something you want, I will also accept football or baseball in trade, pretty much anything to get a trade done. I would prefer not to trade with smokers. I have breathing problems and cards that come from smokers are essentially useless to me, I cannot handle them. I prefer larger trades but will do any size at all.

I have tried to make sure all the cards on my Tradelist are problem free, with no corner dings, scratches or other flaws, but I am human and it's possible I may have missed something, but all cards sent out are cards you shouldn't need to worry about ever finding a replacement for. I don't demand problem free cards in return as my theory is that a damaged card is better than no card, but writing and paper loss means to me that I don't actually have that card so please don't offer them to me in trade.

If you don't care about condition, take a look through my "Damaged Cards" collection. These are all cards that I rejected from my tradelist for having flaws but they are available for trade. I would put them at one third a card "value" so 3 damaged cards vs. 1 of your cards. If you do want any of them, let me know and I will move them to my tradelist. I don't want to put them all there and cause matches for people expecting good cards and getting damaged cards in return. Some of the flaws are pretty big problems, some you will probably wonder why I didn't list it in my tradelist. While my collection doesn't demand perfection, I am very strict with condition on cards I send out in trade.

Trading Prioroties: (what makes me the happiest to get in trade, in no particular order)

  • 1995-96 and 1996-97 NBA Cards
  • 1994 NASCAR Cards
  • Any NASCAR card that actually focuses on the car
  • Automotive Non-Sport cards
  • New York Rangers
  • New York Knicks
  • New Jersey Nets (and Brooklyn and New York Nets, but the NJ era is my favorite
  • Elton Brand
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr.
  • Henrik Lundqvist
  • History related Non-Sports cards
  • Attractive women (with or without clothes)
  • Anything from Racing Champions I don't have
  • Team logo cards for NBA and NHL
  • Non-sports subjects in Allen & Ginter
  • People with last names starting with Q, U, Z and especially X.
  • With that said, I will trade for anything at any time, whether it's on my wantlist or not. I prefer "quantity" to "quality" and I'm a set builder at heart.

There are also a couple of specific sets I'm really hoping to complete some day:

  • 1996-97 Ultra (NBA), my favorite set ever
  • 1988 Leesley Bigfoot (the set that got me started collecting)
  • 2002-03 Topps Chrome Refractors (NBA) Refractors are my favorite parallel and this is the closest one to completion
  • 1994 Action Packed (NASCAR) tied for my favorite NASCAR set
  • 1989-90 Marine Midland New York Rangers (just need the cover card!)
  • 1993 & 1994 Skybox The Simpsons (One base card away from completion, also chasing inserts)
  • 1954 Topps Scoop (my favorite Non-Sport set ever)
  • 1953-54 Topps World on Wheels (my favorite automotive set ever)

Still need to enter Starting Lineups.  I enjoy collecting autographs, tennis, basketball, football, Olympic sports, and baseball.  Non-sport cards in my "collection" could likely be available if there's something you're looking for.

Variation Opinion Section:

With 1989, 1990, & 1991 Donruss, I only want 1 copy of each card number (except checklists and Juan Gonzalez); I have recently tried to put the "for trade" ones in the right variation, but those are likely not 100% accurate.  Same for 1987 Topps Football, 1991 Topps Football, 1991 Bowman Football, 1992 Topps Kids, 1992 Stadium Club, 2006 Topps Total Football, 1992 Leaf (and Leaf Black Gold), 1992 Fleer, 1994 Topps, and most UD hologram backs.

With 1990 Topps Football, I would like both the disclaimer and non-disclaimer backs, so the variation is important and I have kept those "for trade" ones accurate.  1990-91 Fleer I am looking for the "no black line" backs so those variations are important.

With Brewers & Packers Police sets, I do not care which municipality the card is from, I just want 1 of each player.  I have not tried especially hard to put the "for trade" ones in the right variation, but if you'd like me to check specific ones, I'll do that.

Update 5/17. Turned off trading for a little bit. Bought 25k collection I need to add and see how many of my own wants have been filled. Duplicates will go up for trade.

A little bit of everything. Grew up in the junk wax era and collected into the early 2000s. Have randomly picked up clearance packs here and there since then. Cleaned out my parents basement and finally uploaded my entire collection. Recently realized I enjoy the gambling of ripping open packs/boxes and the thrill of the hit.

Current goals are buying 90s hobby boxes that I couldn't afford as a kid and ripping for the nostalgia and the fun of it, then possibly trading to fill in the empty spaces (Not buying factory sets for the most part).

Want to start trading again: Heads up for any potential trade partners. Most of the cards I own from the late 80s and early 90s are from when I was a kid. Most cards were kept in monster boxes all those years but if you are looking for common cards from that era there is a good shot they won't be mint. I was a kid! I have gotten rid of all the creased ones but there may be soft white/corners on some of them. It is what it is. Anything relatively modern was freshly pack pulled so are all in nm or better. Will pull all cards and inspect before sending them.

Collect baseball/basketball/football and concentrating on filling some sets first.

Michael Jordan: My favorite player of all time. While I have some on my FS/FT list its going to take other Jordans or more than their worth to get them in a deal.

Hockey: Picked up a bunch in a collection on FB and don't collect hockey so willing to trade in bulk for things that I really want. Again most are commons so good for set collectors just trying to fill in blanks. Anything of value should be in great condition but will let you know if there is an issue.

Every time I turn on trades I get flooded with one sided, junk wax for modern inserts, etc. Don't be that guy/girl. Got ripped off by Rowdy and have had trades turned off for awhile because it left a bad taste in my mouth.

There's nothing I care less about than asterisks, dots, no dots, etc. I have tried to put the correct ones on my trade list but some may have slipped through the cracks. If you want a certain VAR, I will double check before accepting/sending.

Trying to collect all 290ish Lavoy Allen cards.

Baseball cards, since I was given my first wax pack in 1978.  Working on completing early 1970's sets now.  I've completed '74 thru '92.  I stopped there, my college graduation year. Maybe someday I'll head to the '60s.  Always looking for trades and generally agreeable to about anything.  Have plenty of extras I'd like to move to build unfinished sets.  Not awful picky about condition - prefer not beat to hell, torn, written on, or all creased up, but certainly don't have to be near mint.  My '78 and newers are mostly in great shape.  Many of my '77 and olders are also solid but I do have a number with some wear.  So, if you propose something, I'll gladly pull the cards, verify condition, and let you decide.

**Have to update that I am only shipping to US and Canada at this point**

I collect Vintage, Heritage, Archives, and most retro Baseball releases.  I like old cards and new cards with vintage designs.  I also have a growing collection of poorly cut and wildly written on cards, so I always enjoy finding examples of those, may publish a book of them some day, but they are not a premium to me, I like them cheap and crazy!

Worst collecting regret...so far....selling my dads SGC 2.5 Mickey Mantle rookie card(9007788-062), his SGC 4 1952 Jackie(9007788-067) and my 1953-1980 complete sets through Heritage Auction House in 2016, they acted like they cared but in the end their level of interest and service goes hand in hand with the grading number on your card, they flaked and disappeared on me losing thousands of my cards in their vault for over a year, stay away from them unless you have the 9.5 Mantle like they just sold, they care then.

I have most of my vintage cards listed for sale/trade but my extras are mostly well loved to good-vg examples, so if you prefer perfect cards or EX-MT I probably can't help you.

My Trading thoughts or what people ask me...

-In terms of overall trades, my vintage is well loved, but in decent shape, im generally looking to trade it for other vintage on my want list(which is mainly variations, Topps oddballs, or a 1952 Mickey Mantle :0) or interesting Heritage/Archives stuff like relics, SPs, or autos in roughly equal value.

-For vintage commons 1958-1980 I have removed cards with really bad corners, gum damaged, badly mis-cut, bad creases,  and anything falling into the poor category and some bordering on fair.  So cards will be high fair condition , mostly good condition, some VG, and a few EX.

-For vintage commons 1952-1957 I have removed cards with missing corners, badly mis-cut, full on creasing and bent cards, but some are what I would consider fair with creasing and rounded corners, generally the older the cards in my lists the lesser condition they are in.

-For vintage stars and high numbers from all years I have removed gum damaged, badly miscut, and cards in poor condition, but have left ones in my trade list that may have bad corners, some creasing, and would be considered fair condition due to them being harder and more expensive at the higher grades, so ask if that is something that might bother you I can share details on defects or photos.

-In terms of Heritage SPs I again mainly look to trade them for other Heritage/Archives SPs,  inserts, autos and/or relics I need in roughly equal value from across all products.  All cards are EX or better, with only pack related issues.  I try and remove all dinged corner cards, but if you get some I missed I apoligize and will work to correct if they are not.

-In terms of Heritage/Archives commons and most other cards I am willing to trade them for most things on my want list again in roughly equal value across all products.  All cards are EX or better, with only pack related issues.  I try and remove all dinged corner cards, but if you get some I missed I apoligize and will work to correct if they are not.

-In terms of my 80s OPC stuff, it ranges from Fair to Ex condition, I remove cards with writing and serious damage, there are some 71/72 and 79-84 cards that are in lower conditions and mis-cut, as an American collector in the Midwest OPC is hard to get, I usually buy bulk lots and some cards are in bad shape, I pull the really bad ones out, but as experienced OPC collectors know mis-cuts are a way of life, so please understand this.

-I have lots of 90's cards on my wantlist, which I look for to complete sets I missed, but want is a strong word...but I will not take those in trade for vintage or Heritage/Archive SPs unless the bulk is overwhelming, I will consider them on trades for other base stuff if in a good mood.

-I have a few of the Super 7 action figures from the Big League baseball line as well, I look for roughly $25 in trade value for those or figures from the list I don't have in exchange for any of them.  This is the going rate for these and shipping will cost me extra due to the size.

-I have several vintage non-sports sets I have been building, some since my childhood, I am glad to trade equal value and time period baseball cards for those as well.  These cards tend to be Good to EX.

I have a lot of extra sets of recent Heritage and Archives as well as extra sets of 1980-1989 Topps, Donruss, and Fleer made up of cards I myself opened in the 80's so if you looking for a set let me know and we can discuss how I can give my old cards a good home.

I build Heritage and Archives sets a few months after release and can help if your looking for that as well.  I sell many at my LCS, but glad to help TCDB members out as well.

In the end feel free to offer a trade, I wont be offended but may say no based on the above.

Love to trade - a few cards to hundred,

MAINLY Old baseball and non sport - pre 1980 , 70s football.

Recent -  Chrome Platinum Anniversary, Heritage, Archives, A&G, Topps, Stadium club, Chrome Bowman and Topps  - mainly 2019-2023

^^^^^^^^^^^^^   Its common sense, what's it going to cost me to buy, both sides the trade. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I love old cardboard - Started as a kid collecting in 1974, buying and opening packs with my cousin ( who later in life gave me all his 74 and 75s.  It was all about finding any Aaron cards when ripping open a pack that year.                                                ((ORIOLES FAN, VIKINGS & PANTHERS FAN))

Mainly Vintage Baseball - 1973 and older - (working on second 74-80 sets - looking EX or better for these)

My collection is relatively small - I try to not to pick up stuff I don't necessarily need. If anything I'm trying to downsize a bit. However, if you find something on my tradelist you could use, here are my collecting priorities, in rough order:

1) my three primary player collections: Kevin McReynolds, Keith Hernandez, Pete Harnisch. Those are, admittedly, really hard to hit because I've got almost every major release from those guys.

2) autographs from everyone who's played for the Mets. Again, hard to hit because the majority of the guys I need either don't have certified autos, are old/deceased, or both. However, they don't need to be in a Mets uniform, which opens up the pool a bit. My need list: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qwZl3ADQSf_gVoFHtuS6t3hRaaHnEzRZ3N3h7sJtjkQ

Those are the big two; knowing that those are hard to hit, though and knowing that I just really enjoy trading, here are other things that catch my eye:

3) 1960 Topps. Picked up about 60% of this set from a friend and figured "what the heck, let's go for it." Literally just about any condition as long as there's nothing major (holes, rips) is good for me.

4) Mets parallels, but specifically parallels from guys who I really like. :) Mookie Wilson, Ron Darling, Sid Fernandez, Wilmer Flores, and David Wright, mostly, with Nimmo, deGrom, Gooden, Alonso, Dom Smith, and Piazza as other options. It's a moving target - sometimes it's just a feel thing. Don't need base, don't need inserts, necessarily, unless they're particularly eye catching.

5) Modern base flagship cards of classic players. The Topps SP variations, basically, of the Clementes and Aarons and Jackie Robinsons and such.

6) Oversized cards. I've always loved the 5x7 cards, ever since the mid-80s "Super" sets. They're boxtoppers now, so they're harder to find, and it kind of ties in with #4 a bit, because I really love what Topps has done the last few years with my three favorite sets ever: 1983-1985 Topps.

7) Other G-VG-EX condition vintage. I don't need anything mint. Just love to have some older stuff in my collection. I'm actively looking to downsize a bit, so taking a handful of modern base/low-end inserts off my hands in trade for a few VG/EX vintage is cool by me.

I'm generally pretty easy to trade with, I think, but if you're interested in something valuable or vintage, I'd need something valuable or vintage or off my real wantlists. Thanks for looking!

TRADES: For trades on single cards in the $5-10ish value and up, I'd really prefer to trade those for another single card of similar value, rather that into a bunch of base / commons / inserts from my wantlist. Always open to looking at any fair trade, but if possible, I'd kinda like to steer away from the 1 or 2 card base / insert trades. I'm afraid we'd be spending double on our stamps / envelopes than the cards are even worth.

COLLECTS: Cards #d 19/75 and #d 01/18, GarbagePail Kids, Aaron Judge, Mike Trout, Bo Jackson, Hank Aaron, Pete Alonso, Shohei Ohtani, Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player & Arnold Palmer. Bowling & Golf Autos. And, building sets 1969-Present.

I collect predominantly Packers, Brewers, and former UW Badgers.  I am trading with people in the United States only due to postage costs.  Condition matters to me especially for 1981 to date.  Please do not send me severely yellowed, badly off-center, corner and edge damaged or creased and dog-eared cards from the modern era unless you have notified me as such ahead of time.  For 1980 and earlier I am not as concerned but would appreciate a heads up.  Not accepting trade offers at this time.

Master sets from 1991-2015; team-issued postcards and photos, pocket schedules; New York Mets items.  I love hearing from people, but most of the messages I get are offers to buy cards (that I don't own) that I've scanned over the years.  My advice would be to try eBay, sportslots.com, or COMC.com.

Fighting Irish Football....but only in ND uniform (slop, sets, inserts, autos, new, vintage, promos, regional issues)....just gotta be wearing the Golden Dome) On the hunt for the 1999 Century of Greatness set,  which isnt valuable just hard to come by. Although I wont pay $50 for a $15 set, I will reward anyone (with cards) that can lead me to finding "hard to find" cards. Open to Chicago/Green Bay/Pittsburg teams as well, since a lot of ND fans are fans of those  teams,  I can turn it into something I want. I will consider doubles that I already have to help figure out a trade. So it doesn't hurt to ask or get creative. Im not actively seeking/chasing every parallel and/or autos (newer sets) but would trade for them if the occasion arises. (everything basketball and hockey are available for trade even if it not listed for trade, just a lot of matches that dont have anything from my wantlists so they arent listed for trade)

Please be patient with "large trades" and/or anything that is a variation as I would prefer to pull/verify everything before accepting, and would rather take it slow and correct rather than quick and incorrect (still trying to figure out a "system" for organizing and staying that way in regards to baseball cards)

Fair warning: I'm kinda slow at trading and currently have a lot going on ATM (so patience is needed when trading with me) it's not intentional, just trying to squeeze the hobby I enjoy into a rl busy time.

Goals by priority:

Collect 2000 unique Tony Gwynn cards with a focus on 1982-2001 cards. (1500/2000) 2-5-2023

I am building 3 Gwynn collections; my personal collection consists of my nicest cards in top loaders and graded cards.  My second collection is a collection I'm building for my brother.  I also have a 3rd collection that is in binders for easy viewing.  It is not uncommon for me to ask for 2-3 of the same cards.

I have lots of Project 2020 cards for trade.  I would like to get The Gwynn cards from this and the Project 70 sets.

Starting new player collections. Players listed by priority:

Wade Boggs

Fernando Tatis Jr.

Manny Machado

Shohei Ohtani

Complete Tim Flannery Master Set. (5/113) Just starting.

Complete 2 master sets of 87 Topps baseball. 6 more cards needed.  1-10-21

Acquiring Albuquerque Dukes Minor League baseball team sets from 1985-1994.

Collect 1500 unique Tony Gwynn cards with a focus on 1982-2001 cards. (1500/1500) 2-5-2023 COMPLETE

Collect 1000 unique Tony Gwynn cards from years 1982-2001 with a focus on 80's cards. (1000/1000) 1-28-21 COMPLETE

I am still uploading the majority of my trade list, but I finally have all of my Tony Gwynn cards listed.  I am willing to trade Gwynn cards from my collection but only for older Gwynn cards or Gwynn Rookies.

I am also interested in any cheap late 80's-early 90's complete baseball sets or bulk buys if you are located near me in Monument, CO.  Shipping is just too much for these sets or bulk commons.

Trading is off for now while I get my collection organized again.  If you have Tony Gwynn cards to trade, feel free to send me a message.

I’ve been collecting cards for over 47 years and have over 485,000 unique cards in my main collection, including some nice vintage stuff.  I collect older cards of the four major sports but lately I've been expanding to some more recent sets.  I'm primarily a Set Builder and I’m looking for other like-minded set builders to trade with.   I’ve accumulated tons of extra cards that I would like to trade away with almost 250,000 cards in my current For Trade list.  Big trades don't bother me. I have a huge Want List, so hopefully you have something I need.  Feel free to make me an offer.

For Canadian Traders: It's expensive for me to trade across the border.  Going forward I would like to limit cross border trades to two (2) PWEs. That's about 54 standard-size cards.  Thanks.

For Anyone Outside US/Canada: The increased postal rates have made it impossible for me to trade outside North America cheaply.  So going forward I will have to decline trades from outside US/Canada.  Sorry about that.

Update on Donruss/Leaf * Variations and Upper Deck Holo Variations:
I can't guaranty the junk wax era Donruss/Leaf cards and the UD holo variations are listed with the correct variation.  Going forward I will no longer check the variations on these cards.  If you want these cards regardless of the variations, feel free to request them in the trade.  Howver, If you want a specific variation of these cards, I'm no longer your guy - please don't put them in the trade request.  For all other cards that have variations, I will contniue to check and make sure you get the correct one.

Note on Vintage Cards:
I have over 6,000 vintage cards listed for trade (I consider vintage to be 1977 or earlier).  For each card I've noted a condition grade and if you check closer, a note on each regarding any condition issues (be sure to select the correct one if multiple cards are shown).  Please note that I'm by no means a professional grader and if you're hyper-sensitive on card condition, please message me first and I'd be happy talk about it.  In exchange for these cards I have three priorities:

  • 1) similar vintage cards that I need (any sport)
  • 2) inserts for my 90s sets that I need (any sport)
  • 3) or non-junk era base cards that i need as a last resort (any sport)

Note on Card ConditionA card noted as Pr, Fr, Gd, or GdVg will have some obvious condition issues such as creasing, corner wear, or marks.  I would consider them place holders in a collection at best (I've listed them because some people do want place holders).  A VG card will usually be a clean card with some corner wear or a centering issue.  For me, VG would be the bare minimum for my personal collection.  EX will be nice sharp card and VgEx will be something just between VG and Ex, still a nice card with a small issue that prevents it from being EX.  NM in vintage is a tough find.

Check out the results of the Ukraine trip here!

Declining trade offers with no message is of little use to the person initiating the trade, show some effort to those putting together trade offers and take a few seconds to note why the trade doesn't work in its current state. A few moments to communicate can lead to a deal getting done!

On the flip side, please stop sending me 1-4 card trades showing that you didn't read/ignored my top message in bold, respect for time goes both ways!

I have a small wanted list but have no problem selling cards to fund purchases of cards I am after so hit me up with a buy offer if we do not have trade matches.

The variations I have listed are correct* at time of listing.

1991 Topps listed as PR are non-glowback variations.

The 1991 Topps cards on my WL are glow/No-glow specific, when offering let me know which you have, if not there is a 50/50 chance I would receive a card I do not need.

* Unless a catalog change occurred after listing that I am unaware of.

I am one of the members that helps within the site.  I work closely with the IRs and can answer most questions.  Please send me a message if there is anything I can assist with.  If I don't know, I can certainly try to figure it out or direct you to a resource.

I am a player collector...collecting Robin Yount and Ersan Ilyasova

I am also negotiating trades for a member that I have been helping with the site.  These cards are all for John.  His profile name is Electric Burrito.  Derek Jeter, Wayne Gretzky, Marshall Faulk, Pete Rose, Aaron Judge, Bo Jackson and a few others.

I like to trade!!  I mainly prefer PWE trades but am set up for larger trades too.  I have a scale at home and the wife works at the post office, so I rarely need to go there.  I like to get my trade list into the hands of members that could use them.  If this means that I give a lot more than I receive, this is fine with me.  You get the cards you need; I get the space back in my area.  I am open to buying and selling, but mainly, I am a trader.  I have mostly gone through and updated for the correct variations in my trade listing.  I also have a spreadsheet that I have documented my Glow vs Non-Glow backed '91 Topps.  Let me help you fill your collecting needs.

My primary collection is something regional, I really want to collect the old Brewer Police cards, they were issued for each community throughout Wisconsin.  But I have been especially looking for the Robin Yount cards.  I think there are over 775 different police sets issued between 1982 and 1993, with over 850 different cards that I am very interested in (He has two cards in the 1993 sets).  Currently, I have 296 different Yount cards.  It's actually been fun, but I have a long way to go.  Any of the other Brewers cards that I have would be available if you are interested but let me check on the condition.  Since I am getting a lot of them through thrift stores, eBay and rummage sales, some are pretty ragged.  I also have Packers Police cards that would potentially be available too.

A fun project that I have started is gathering information on Robin's 3,142 hits.  I have been putting a collection together of him and the pitchers that he hit off of.  This means that I am on the hunt for many, many copies of Robin's Topps cards, one copy for every hit within that year.  But also, many AL pitchers.  I plan to match up the pitcher's card with Robin's card and add a little write up of the at bat and the game.  I'm such a nerd.  UPDATE - Still need over half of Robin's Topps cards.  But I have done very well in regard to his pitchers.  I only need 10 and 3 others to have upgraded!!  Big thanks to everyone that has helped!!

I personally have a very small collection and wants.  When I find something for myself,  I like to try to give a little extra as a big thanks for finding me something special.  Thank you to all that has helped!!

I keep up with the Topps and Donruss base baseball sets.

I also enjoy collecting oddball baseball sets.  My current focus is on the following:

  • Starting Line Up cards (not the figures)
  • Sponsored team sets like Mother's, Police, Fire Safety, Kahn's, Coke, etc.
  • Updating my Hostess box panel cards (individuals)

I am always looking for cards that I do not have of the following Hall of Famers.  Serial numbered cards less than 100 are not on my want list but I am still interested.

  • Frank Thomas (White Sox only)
  • Carlton Fisk (Red Sox or White Sox)
  • Ernie Banks

PLEASE READ

CARD CONDITION

I have removed all recent cards that are not NRMT or better from my inventory.  ExMt or better from 80's or earlier.  Anything less than ExMt will be specified and discussed before mailing.  In turn, I ask that you do not send me anything that does not meet these criteria.

POSTAGE

I will send all cards in plain white envelope (PWE) unless agreed otherwise or if card values are high.  Mailing more than 18 cards may be split into separate envelopes.  I always buy postage at the post office and get a receipt so I have some kind of verification.

Single cards will go out in a toploader.  Multiple cards will go in a 9 pocket sheet, folded and placed between more rigid cardboard.  The goal is to keep it thin to keep it cheap and avoid package charges.

TRADING

I use Beckett pricing to even up trades.  If you look up prices on Ebay or COMC, sell your cards there.

I collect error Cards, variations, and all Garrett Whitley or Ian Anderson cards.

Searching for a complete set of 2003 Fleer Tradition Update.  If you have one for sale, please let me know!

For the vintage cards on my wantlist, I am looking for VG+ condition. No creases. 1-2 rough corners is OK, but I don't want 4 rounded ones. Centering isn't too important, as long as I can't see the next card on the front or the back. I want clean, unmarked checklists.  Not all of the vintage on my trade list matches these criteria, and that is why many of them are on my trade list as I have upgraded the cards over the years.  I will let you know condition before agreeing to a trade.

The CJ McCollum and Josh Allen cards on my wantlist are lower priority.  They are there mostly as filler or if you find other hoop/football cards on my trade list that you are interested in.  I'm unlikely to trade higher value baseball for anything other than baseball.  Find a bunch of common baseball and the only matches are McCollum and Allen, we can probably work something out.

I also have a LARGE quantity of 1991 Topps separated out by glow back, non-glow, bold logo, etc.  I don't have them listed on the site as there is no way to distinguish between the glow and non-glow backs.  If you collect these and are looking to trade, please look me up and we will certainly figure something out!

I only trade Vintage cards ( Pre 1980 ) for items off my want list. I have modern cards listed but they are not organized. I list them for trade because it gives me the option to initiate a trade. The only trade requests I accept are vintage (Pre 1980).

(IMPORTANT) I had to add this statement since being ripped off three times on large trades: Should you be a first time trader with me and no matter how many great feeback notes or how many digits your total trading number is I will insist you mail first and provide a tracking number that will be verified prior to my shipping your cards. I have lost over 2000 cards due to dishonest people on this site and it stops here and now. THIS IS NOT PERSONAL TO ANYONE it is just my way of protecting my product when trading! Again, to those easily offended traders, spoken in the words of the Capo: "Its not personal Sunny, it's just good business."

I trade for EX/MT to MT cards. Filling Baseball/Football sets. I have some Basketball and Hockey to trade for Football/Baseball. Fair value trades only! No 91 junk for 70s! All mistakes will be made right. I keep my stock in good condition and inform trade partners of defects. I'll expect same in return.

My Steeler and Pirate binders always have empty pages to fill. I also collect Tony Gwynn! Hit me up with a trade proposal and we'll see if we can get it done.

10/10/22 Update:

I have moved again and have decided to turn trades back on. Trading cards are not my first priority though so be patient as I get back into the hobby.

My focus is going to be on completing sets from 1993 back. A note about the Topps sets from 1976-1980. I am building duplicate sets for 76-78 and four sets each for 79 & 80 and would make trades for near complete sets if this is un anybodies interest.

Again, I appreciate trade offers but caution you that they may take some time to fill.

Happy trading,

Hal

UPDATE: SEPT 1, 2022:

I am recovering from COVID at the moment.  I have temporarily shut off trading.  Will open back up when I'm healthy.  Thank you for your understanding.

Set collector first & foremost. I also like to work on PCs of various Angels: Wally Joyner, Mike Trout, Reggie Jackson, Rod Carew, Tim Salmon, Jim Abbot (Angels only). I also collect Bo Jackson, Jeff Huson, Rod Woodson, Steve Alford, & Martin St. Louis.

Quite happy with PWEs.  Please avoid scotch tape on anything.

I come and go with the seasons in the hobby.  If my status is set to not accept trades it's because I tend to get burned out from time to time.  Don't be shy though, please feel free to message me especially if it's that last card you might need to complete a set!

  • Complete a minimum of 3 random acts of kindness (send some cards someone's way to help them out or celebrate a birthday or just becuase!)
  • Have fun collecting!

Trading/Selling all non-Cincinnait Reds cards. Need some junk era stuff?  We should trade!

I am very open to trade proposals and also happy to SELL.  I also buy cards from folks on here from time to time if they have a nice lot of Reds I need.  I also welcome counter offers for trades that I initiate--so please feel free to review my lists and come back with an offer that works for both of us.  My sincere wish is that every trade is a win-win for all.

Let's make some trades!  Go Redlegs!

I love this Database and its Community!  I build Baseball sets and collect ALL Colorado Rockies (especially Helton, Blackmon, and Freeland).  I also collect Dizzy Dean, Ted Williams, Bo Jackson, and Scott Elarton (who I grew up playing ball with).  I also collect Garbage Pail Kids of all years and series, car cards, Desert Shield/Storm and other Military/War cards.  I really enjoy helping out fellow set builders and I’m willing to trade commons at two/three for one to help build and/or complete sets.

Growing up and collecting in the "garbage era" (80s and 90s), I have plenty from that era to trade and still need some to finish my sets.  From there, I'm moving in both directions (back to vintage while trying to keep up with modern) to build and complete sets.  I had a 20-year period (1995-2015) where I didn't collect as I was in the Marine Corps and didn't have the time or focus for the hobby.  Now that I'm retired, I'm trying to play catch up.  When it comes to my vintage collection (vintage to me is older than me, i.e. 1976 and older), I’m not looking for pristine or gradable cards.  My goal is to have an “acceptable” looking card from each set (mostly centered, non-rounded or soft corners, no writing, no creases, no stains).  If it is acceptable for your collection, it’s probably acceptable for my collection.  If you have questions or concerns, let me know.

I love trying to extend the hobby into the future.  I spend time giving cards and supplies to kids as they are the future and it is my hope that they will enjoy the game of baseball and the hobby of collecting as much as I do.

I also have a fairly large collection of football, basketball, and hockey cards from the early 80s to today that are not in the data base.  I'd love to get these into the hands of a collector who can appreciate them.  If that's you, let’s talk!

I also love buying/trading in bulk.  I have purchased and/or traded for entire collections.  If this is you, let’s also talk!

***TEMPORARILY TURNED OFF TRADING: WILL RETURN SOON.***

***I Do Not Accept Unsolicited Offers to Buy Cards -- Trades Only***

I am a fan of the Washington Redskins and Atlanta Braves. I collected baseball cards (and some football cards) as a boy into my teens. I sold off my cards as a young adult who was an active alcoholic. [I have been sober since February 17, 1991.]

I re-started collecting cards in 2015 during a business trip to Sapporo, Japan. I went to a Nippon Ham Fighters game, and while transversing the gift shop as I was leaving the stadium, I came upon packs of 2015 BBM Nippon Ham Fighters baseball cards. I haven't stopped since...

I collect Japanese & US Pro Baseball -- particularly Boston/Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves.

Please feel free to send me a friend request here and on Facebook.

I'm only doing trades on pre 1980 stuff right now! My newer stuff is just a damn mess and all over the place!

I collect lower grade vintage baseball 1880s-1984 and other weird oddball stuff. Also collect some vintage basketball, football, wrestling, drag racing, monster, horror, 60& 70s &some 80s TV & movies. Not really interested in post 1984 stuff other than 93,94 Finest, 96 Crome, oddball & 90s baseball inserts

I actually trade for ROUGH, BEAT-UP, DRAWN ON cards. If you have ANY old beat-up HOF/Stars/Negro League don't be afraid to offer em in trade or I might even buy em. For beater COMMONS I usually like 69 or older. The older the better.

I collect all years Chicago Cubs 1880s-current, but have most of it! Not too keen on the newer stuff unless it's Rizzo, Sandberg, Sosa, Dawson or something odd.

If you see something you want, even in my collection! feel free to make an offer. Most everything I have is for sale or trade. I love to trade but most of my 1980+ is all mixed up unless it's a HOF/Star player and even then...

I've had a great experience trading so far! What a great site! I can provide pics for any cards you are interested in. I try to grade but have never gotten cards graded, so I'm no expert. If it's an older card doesn't have a grade it is probably at least G/VG or thereabouts. I try to tag all damage and grade a little low.

I'll always try to throw in an extra card from your wantlist too, If I can't find anything you'll get something fun.

Feel free to make any offer. I DO like to make the trade worth the stamp, envelope & time = $5 or more.

Thanks!

      • Any condition, preferrably PSA; primarily looking for cheap, low-grade commons

Any cards that I have that do not meet the above criteria will be removed from my collection. As of right now, I only sell on COMC (and I don't see that changing). I just don't have the time with my lifestyle (working 40-50 hours a week, plus coaching three baseball teams) to pull, package, and mail trades, or even mail my own sales. I do enjoy sending PIFs and typically check wantlists here before sending a box to COMC for consignment. If I'm looking for something specific and notice you have it FS/T, I may reach out to try and make an offer. I don't expect to receive any proposals, and would rather send someone a few cards from their wantlist and get nothing in return than try to hash out a deal.

I do have cards listed FS/T; they are available via COMC, listed in my "COMC" collection, and can be accessed by following the External Sales Link on those cards. I don't have them in my possession, so I can't do a trade with you. However, I want to see these cards go to people who really want them. If you see something you like, send me a message on here and let me know - the price will come down, and I'll even take a bit of a loss to get you cards for your collection. I keep my prices more in line with what is currently offered on COMC, but I'll certainly be wiling to negotiate, especially with a TCDB member, as these are typically higher than what these cards are truly worth, in my opinion.

All baseball cards to build sets.  I'm not into buying multiple players as investors, I have complete sets starting with the '51 Topps Red Backs, '52s except the last series, then '53 through current "base sets" except for a few dozen total.  I'm trying to fill in those few by trading, so if you have something I don't, please suggest a trade.  If you're an investor looking for superstars and rookies, please look elsewhere for trades as I prefer to save those cards to serious collectors who need those cards to complete their sets.

I have football, basketball, hockey, soccer and other cards to trade and am working on getting them all loaded into this database.  Feel free to message me with your wants even if you don't see them listed.

I also have some complete sets (hand-collated) available for sale:  Please make offer on each.

My collection is one that sparks joy to me. I have no rhythm or reason to it, each card brought joy to me and so it was added to the collection. My want list is cards that spark joy for me. My Want List is being re added to and will grow greatly over the next few weeks/months.

This hobby is my saving grace! I found it as a way to help my anxiety and the friendships I have made in this hobby are amazing! I truly appreciate everyone in this hobby!

I look forward to doing lots of trades here and getting these cards in your mailbox and collection where they belong!

One of my binder projects is a Topps Twins project and am mainly needing the vintage now, I am happy to add cards with character aka poor condition for the vintage cards. This project is to tell the story of the decades and what better way than to have character to the cards. That's for the vintage, I don't want 1990s cards that are rounded edges and ripped up.

My collection is valued at how much I'm smiling at the end of the day :)

I am building my 1971 topps baseball set right now. Looking for moderate condition (GD-VG-VGEX) and I will overtrade as I build my sets.

Yes: I'll sell (Venmo/Cashapp/Paypal).
Yes: I'll trade a huge pile of cards for a big ticket card.
Yes: I'll trade a big ticket card for a huge pile of cards.
Yes: I'll trade to Canada.
Yes: I'll trade vintage for new.
Yes: I'll trade new for vintage.
Yes: I'll trade between sports.
Yes: I'll probably throw that other card in too.

General Condition notes (unless otherwise noted. I'm happy to send photos if requested):
• 60s-70s-80s (G-VG-EX-EXMT)
• 80s-90s-00s (EX-EXMT-NRMT)
• 00s-10s-20s (EXMT-NRMT-MT)

Cards come from a smoke-free/pet-free/Subway-bread/patchouli free home. I like to think I have all the (.) and (*) variations catalogued, but let me know if these are critically important to you.

Sent trades to 45/50 states. All 50 before I die, maybe? Where are you, AK, LA, UT, VT, WY?

PC is Miguel Cabrera, Spencer Torkelson and Cal Eldred.

I am first and foremost a vintage baseball set collector. I have a lot more stuff than what is uploaded into TCDB, so just ask if you would like to know. I am trying to update things, but it takes a lot of time (as you must be well aware)!

Low grade/raw vintage HOF cards

As far as modern sets, I am an annual Bowman set collector (paper base, chrome, mojos/Megas, main inserts and mojo/mega inserts, but usually not colors or other parallels or numbered stuff), and also an annual Topps Chrome collector (usually base set and inserts).

Favorite teams:
Orioles

Eric Davis
Eddie Murray
Ken Griffey, Jr.

Yes, I am one of those fools trying to finish the VAR master sets from the late-80s/early-90s. If you see a mass want from that set I'd prefer to purchase a large lot/full set (even that means taking on dupes for myself) rather than trade for onsies and twosies (though funnily enough I have PC’s that fall into this boat).

Priority collection projects:

1) Finishing 80s and 90s baseball inserts moving into the new century

2) Vintage, all sports

3) Finishing off hockey sets and inserts

4) Finishing off football sets and inserts

5) Extensive PC lowest priority

I WILL buy. I will NOT buy if you insist on pandemic pricing.

***FOR PROPOSED TRADES***

1. I WILL trade to my friends up north; always have, always will.

2. I WILL NOT trade cards out of my collection, FS/T only. If it’s in my collection, it’s because I want to keep it to meet my goals (whether I get there or not is a different story 😊)

3. I’m continuously updating my FS/T list as I have several large lots I am sorting through and adding here.

4. The nature of my work means I can work odd hours at times. It may take me several days before I get to your request. I know this is usually an understood condition for traders on here, but I just want to put it out there now especially for those I have yet to trade with.

5. I take trades first-come, first-serve style so a requested card may already be accounted for in another trade. I put this one out there because I have times where I was balancing 5-10 trades and have run into this.

6. I’m always open to counteroffers so please be flexible yourself.

7. I’m open to anything from small PWE to large lots.

8. I will trade across sports (baseball for football, etc.) so a trade doesn't have to revolve around one sport or even numbers.

9. For trades up to 20-30 cards, I try to ship PWE. I have successfully used multiple PWE's for larger trades also. Bubble mailers will be used for more valuable cards.

I always look for equal value in trades. I do not use Beckett nor this site for price comparison. I use 3rd party sites to gage values as they can indicate more real-world sales/selling prices. With that said I will NOT do pandemic pricing. So much stuff out there is artificially inflated right now and I will not “overpay” for an item. I don’t have hard ratios as to what I will trade (1 HOF = 5 commons, etc.). I know what I paid and can research value; just want fair value in return. This also means I’m open to off-balance trades where one of us get more cards than the other. Again, it’s about making both sides happy.

For any vintage on my FS/T list I tried to be accurate as possible on condition. I can send pictures of any vintage upon request. I will trade for vintage, but I am a stickler for condition. I’m aiming for NM on my vintage sets. If you are going to send me anything from the modern era, I would expect NM or better. One would think that's a no-brainer, but you'd be surprised on how disappointed one can get...

***NON-TRADING MEMBERS***

I'll sell any cards on my for sale/trade list for a fair and reasonable price plus enough to cover shipping. I'm not in this to make a profit, but to help fellow collectors meet their goals. I am open to buying, but again, will not do pandemic pricing.

Sorry, but I am only able to trade within the US.

I am mainly a football set collector, although I do collect Peyton Manning cards and a few baseball sets. I also collect Mickey Mantle.

I pride myself in getting cards out the same day the trade is finalized or, at least, the next day. I expect the same courtesy from you.

2023 goal. I'm going to start a slow overhaul. Realization set in and I have over 100k cards and no room to organize. My daughter isn't interested in my cards, just her shopkins and mlp cards. So nobody to pass them to. So I'm going to focus on completing sets and selling them.

12/11/22- completed my first set from scratch! 2018 Donruss with all variations! I still have a lot of sets to work on. Current ones I'll work on are 2013 Topps Chasing History- all three series. 1998 spx finite, I have a few thousand to start working with. 1984 Donruss, already working on it. 2014 Topps color series except for red. If you see anything you want to trade, send me a message!

***If you are offering a trade and you see I need a '53 Topps card that you have, I am most likely not interested in trading for it, as I am collecting a graded set and just use the wantlist to keep track of what I still need.***

Chipper Jones, Derek Jeter, Tony Gwynn, Ozzie Smith, Kirby Puckett, Vlad Guerror (Sr.), Don Mattingly.

Players from Delaware including Mason Fluharty (my cousin), Zack Gelof, Jake Gelof, Delino DeShields, John Mabry, Chris Widger, Randy Bush, Chris Short, Ian Snell, Joey Wendle, and others. University of Delaware athletes in UD uniform. Tennessee Volunteer football players in UT uniform. Duke basketball players in Duke uniform.

Cards on my for sale/trade list typically consist of the following conditions (I will let you know if an individual card is in worse condition):

2020-2010 - Fresh out of the pack, typically NrMt

2000-2009 - Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt (may have a fuzzy corner or show a little bit of edge wear from being in a box, especially if the card has a dark colored border)

1988-1999 - Cards from when I was a kid. Some may have some fuzzy corners or edge wear from being in a box. If the wear/damage seems significant I will let you know once I pull them.

1981-1988 - Some may have some edge wear, fuzzy corners, may have a dinged corner. Others may be straight out of the pack. I will let you know if there are any serious issues.

1980 and older - I typically include the condition. Most of these cards are EX at best. Some are a lot worse. I can send photos if you are interested, just ask.

I don't typically pay attention to centering unless it is really bad. If the card is legitimately miscut and you can see another card on it then I just throw it out and it won't be listed here (with the exception of some vintage stuff).

I prefer to trade my non-baseball for baseball cards, as I'm trying to focus my collection and reduce the space it takes up.

I ship PWE unless it's too many cards to fit or there's a card of significant value.

I THINK I HAVE EVERYTHING MOVED AND IN PLACE TO BEGIN TRADING AGAIN. I HAVENT BEEN ACTIVE FOR ABOUT 8 MONTHS DUE TO MOVING. I TRIED TRADING IN THE SUMMER OF 2022 BUT HAD TROUBLE FINDING THE CARDS. I APOLOGIZE TO THOSE WHO ATTEMPTED TO TRADE WITH ME AND IT DIDNT WORK OUT.

TOP PRIORITIES:

1. 2022 TOPPS BASEBALL SERIES 2 AND UPDATE

2. DETROIT TIGER AND LION NEEDS

3. TOPPS HERITAGE, ALL YEARS

4. 2023 TOPPS BASEBALL WHEN THEY COME OUT

I PREFER TO TRADE WITH JUST USA TRADERS AT THIS TIME. I WORK ON TRADES AS RECIEVED, AND ATTEMPT TO CONTACT EACH POTENTIAL TRADER TO LET THEM KNOW WHAT PHASE THEIR TRADE IS IN.

SO, THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE, TRADING IS OPEN.

I GUESS I NEED TO ADD THE FOLLOWING DISCLAIMER....I HAVE SOME HOF CARDS, AND SOME CARDS FROM THE 60'S AND 70'S. I PREFER TO TRADE THOSE CARDS FOR SIMILAR TYPE NEEDS. I PROBABLY WILL NOT TRADE HOF OR OLDER CARDS FOR NEWER GYPSY QUEENS AND ARCHIVE OR HOCKEY CARDS. SO, IF I TURN DOWN YOUR TRADE, PLEASE DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY.I AM PASSING ON CANADA TRADES AT THIS TIME. IT COSTS TOO MUCH AND THE DELAYS IN RECIEVING THE ITEMS IS TOO LONG. SORRY, NOTHING PERSONAL.

I have over 100,000 cards listed, and most are for trade.

I love to trade, but be patient as I get several offers every day.

Here's a list of what I collect

1. Kirby Puckett, Whitey Ford, Joe Mauer - Any and All

2. Minnesota Twins - Really like Numbered or Autos.

3. Topps Baseball Sets (Main, Update, Chrome, and Stadium Club)

4. Pittsburgh Steelers - Any of the top players

5. Star Wars - Any of the main sets related to the movies

6. Upper Deck Baseball sets

7. Other misc movie/pop culture card sets.

UPDATE: I will be selling most of my collection on WhatNot.  Be sure to follow me to be notified when those sales start:

https://whatnot.com/invite/kesslerm

You can get $10 to spend if you are a new buyer on Whatnot.

Info for traders:   I'm fine with PWE trades.   For the most part I will use cardboard mailers (postage is the same as PWE), or padded envelopes if larger.  I prefer trades that have 10-120 cards and a value of $5-$60.  Trades must be close in value (I do look up ABV (Average Book Value) as I do find it accurate to what cards are really selling for).  Please don't send trade offers of a bunch of commons for a list of your star player or rare cards.

Uncommon Knowledge

This section will be for things I come accross that can help the public.

+ 2001 Topps Heritage commons are worth $0.50, 2002 and later are worth $0.25, and the SP's are worth several dollars.  (These are not equal value to any 1980's commons).

I am primarily a Topps baseball set collector trading for cards which (mostly) will be added to my personal collection...one that hopefully one day will be passed along to my kids to continue this awesome hobby.

I am currently reviewing the sets I have so I can list upgrades, so I will likely be adding to my wantlist frequently.

My biggest goals for right now are to finish my 72-76 base sets. Of course, I am always looking to add to my sets from years prior to that.

I am trying really hard to find several cards from the 2001 Fleer EX baseball set, including the Behind the Numbers inserts...only a few to go, but they just don't show up very often.

I have a good deal of cards from other sports, gaming, and non-sport genres to pass along.

I have no problem trading modern for vintage and vice versa, as long a the perceived value is pretty fair.

Lots of cards to trade/sell, message me if you are interested!

******** For all late 70s/early 80's cards on my Wantlist, I am looking to upgrade cards with bum corners, marks, wax stains, etc. I am looking for NM cards from this era in most cases. ************

Trading for and buying Red Sox (and Boston Braves) cards from 1951-1977. Also a few Bruins, Patriots, and Celtics cards, as well as 1968, 76, and 77 Topps baseball sets. Also working on completing my 1991 Topps set.Adding cards to for sale/trade list weekly. I have baseball, some football and hockey to trade, mostly from the 80s. I love trading, and no trade is too small, so make a reasonable offer and I'll consider it.

If I have something for trade but you don't have anything on my want list, please contact me and we'll figure something out. I want to help you complete your collection.

Of the cards on my trade list, the newer the cards, the better the condition. I've tried to mark the ones with the worst issues, but it's time-consuming to mark them all. Ill ask befor I send you anything questionable. In the other direction, I care most about condition for my Boston collections; the sets I'm collecting vary a lot in condition.

Primary focus is Topps Baseball.  My main goal being the 71 set.  I'm also big into Star Wars.  Don't have much on my want list but I'll never turn down star wars cards I don't already have in my collection.

My son and daughter are both big into different non sports (Pokemon, Mars Attacks, and anything political) and boxing.

If it's on my want list I'm willing to trade for it.  Shoot me an offer.

**Trading back on pause. Life has been busy and just haven't had time to keep up with trading. If you see something that you absolutely have to have, please send me a message and I'll see if I can make an exception for you. Thank you all for the previous submissions and for your patience.**

Nearly everything in my Main Collection can be for trade/sale for the right trade or price. Please comment in your trade offer if a card you want is a part of my collection. Personal Collection and Rookie Collection cards are not for sale or trade.

Looking for: 1) Minnesota Twins, 2) Minnesota Vikings, 3) University of Minnesota and NDSU 4) Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Wild. Any cards from these teams are wants of mine even if they aren't on my wantlist. I don't need duplicates of cards I have but anything I don't own will have a spot in my collection.

Trades: 18 standard cards or less will be sent in a 9 pocket sheet in a PWE unless discussed otherwise (thicker cards may lower the total cards able to be shipped this way.) Any trade with more than 18 cards or trades that include an autograph or memorabilia piece will be sent in a tracked bubble mailer. I will always err on the side of the bubble mailer to ensure the cards get to you safe. I also have paperboard mailers available but prefer to use them for my eBay sales so please notify me if this would be a preferred method of shipping for you and we can work something out.

Purchases: Please include $4 shipping in all offers. All purchases will go out in a tracked bubble mailer unless discussed otherwise.

eBay: All cards listed on my eBay collection are either already listed on eBay or I plan to list at some point. These cards will not be updated as frequently so some may not be available if you include any of these cards in your trades/purchases. I am happy to sell through TCDB rather than eBay for these cards so please let me know if you need/want anything and I can remove it from eBay and sell through here. Link to my eBay profile is included in my profile. All images on my eBay are scans of the actual card I have in hand.

I am busy, busy, busy, but go ahead and send trade offers. I'll do my best to get back to you. Most of my traders are in storage, but they're accessible. If it's from 2020 or newer, I should have it with me.

Bagwell, Biggio, Nolan Ryan, Astros/Colt .45s, 60's-70's Pirates, Pre-1967 Baseball.

** PWE trades work better at the moment, unless you've got something really special for me. **

Chris Sabo and Shawn Kemp first.

Probably interested in any F1, old or new, even if I have it.

Star Wars, Draymond, Tyreek, Bip Roberts, Sean Taylor, Jesse Winker and odd Reds stuff second.

I'm happy to sell anything I have if you don't have anything I need. Just message me.

I will buy your F1 cards if I don't have something you need to trade. Just message me.

Collect baseball Hall of Famers and notable players from the 70s/80s but am interested in all eras of baseball. I am not a set builder and enjoy helping people build sets. I will give a lot of commons for pretty much any cards on my wantlist so if you are looking to complete a set please ask for as many cards as you need. My collecting priorities are.

1. Players/cards from the 70's - early 80's. These are the players I grew up with and know the best.

2. Players/cards from before the 1970's. If I had an extra million $$ I would probably spend it on cards from this era because I have little to nothing to offer in trades for cards of this vintage.

3. Junk wax era cards, which I basically consider to be 1985 -1995 because that was when I was least interested in baseball.

4. Modern cards. I am just not interested in serial numbered cards, parallels, one-of-one cards and all the other ways card companies manufacture scarcity to feed the business of collecting. With the exception of Topps Now cards. I love the idea of seeing something happen on the field and then ordering a card of it the next day. Current players I actively collect include, Zack Greinke, Joey Votto, Bartolo Colon, Andrew McCutchen, Max Scherzer, Roy Halladay, Ichiro Suzuki and Bryce Harper because he's is still the best thing the Phillies have going right now.

I try to be careful of condition. I note condition issues in the details where I can but have not yet gotten to most of my traders. If not noted I will check with potential trade partners on anything that is worse than EX (or EX-MT for newer cards) and I expect the same. I also try to keep my lists accurate but have given up on ever getting it perfect. I apologize in advance if there is something on my trade list that I don't actually have.

All offers considered but prefer to trade like for like - i.e. modern for modern or vintage for vintage.

I prefer big trades (50+) to small trades but am happy for any and all offers. Shipping in PWE is fine with me

Hello: I joined this site in March 2021. I'm still putting my cards that I have into this website. I'm still organizing all my cards so it will take me some time to input them into this web site. I'm willing to make a trade if I need cards to complete a set.

The trades that I have done have gone very smoothly. The trades I've made so far have been PWE (Plain White Envelope) shipping.

I'm a set builder:

If you are a buyer check out my "For Sale Only Cards". All the cards in this collection are for sale. I'm still organizing my cards to put in this collection. The following complete sets are for sale:

1988 Donruss - Stan Musial Puzzle

1989 Donruss - Warren Spahn Puzzle

1992 Donruss - Rod Carew Puzzle

1991 Upper Deck - Baseball Heroes: Nolan Ryan

1991 Upper Deck - Team Logo Holograms

2007 Topps -All Stars

Down the road I'm looking to sell all my cards. At my age (late 60's) it's about the that time to sell all my cards. Hopefully there are people on this site that buys cards.

Have a great day.

New York Mets. Some other things. Only looking for trades with Mets cards top priority/want.  Have some non-Mets in my wants just to fill out trades if needed.  Like larger trades, but smaller acceptable if there is not a lot matches. Going to keep it US only.  I have zero need for any of my non-baseball cards, so those can go pretty easily.

May 2023: Finishing up a few more trades then will turn off trades for now.  Anything sent after 5/21 will be declined to keep the transactions clear.

Working on completing Topps Baseball sets 1960,1969, and 1970.   I have complete sets from 1971 to 1981 But I need to upgrade some as I sort through them.

Also working on modern base sets and some inserts as they catch my interest.

Trying to complete Reds team sets from any year, have most of the 70s covered and am working backwards.  Have a good start on the 60s.  Partial Reds sets from 1980-2020 are sitting in boxes waiting to be sorted.  I have alot of reds duplicates including specials/inserts for former reds stars (Bench, Morgan, etc,)

Have some misc. items I have accumulated that I will try to list like basketball cards, modern baseball.

Still working on updating my collection in the database.

I am mainly a set builder.  My major goal is completing my "legacy" Topps baseball set (complete sets of every base set since the year I was born).  I am working on 71-73, and 2014.  I have the others.  70's era condition is not critical, I'll take fillers until my set is complete, so long as the value is in line with the condition.. If it's on my 1971, 72 or 73 wantlist, I'll take those cards you're embarrased to trade!  Anything from the 80's forward, I am generally looking for EX or better.

HEALTH UPDATE - thanks to everyone who reached out.  I am back to work, and feeling good.  I have significantly less colon than when this began, but ,by the grace of God, it appears that I have now fought off cancer a second time.

I pc Alan Trammell cards, my favorite player from childhood, and seeing as how I also just recently battled colon cancer, I am collecting Trey Mancini cards too. Football is Barry Sanders, Calvin Johnson and Chris Spielman.  Please feel free to add in any cards of these players in trades!

I would like to trade my extra baseball 70's for 70's football or O-Pee-Chee.  Also trade my extra 80's baseball and football for 80's hockey and O-Pee-Chee and LEaf baseball.  I don't have these on my wantlists, because there would be so many...  If you are interested, however, message me, and I will initiate an offer.

I have several "extra" complete sets, that I would be willing to trade for a set of equal value that I do not currently have.  Check out my completed sets list on my website, if you think you're interested.

Potential Traders:

  • If you're interested in the Mahomes RC I have for trade, then I'll only accept an equivalent RC of Mahomes, or an equivalent star such as Aaron Rodgers or Josh Allen. Please note that I do not have other Mahomes or Allen RCs on my want list, so I'll add them as necessary.
  • If your trade proposal contains any Packers cards from the Police Sets, I may already have them but from a different sponsoring police station. However, I'm not interested in collecting more of them with the exception of Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. I don't have any from the following years, so I'm interested in these years: 1981-1986, 1988, 1992, 2019-Present.

I'm a player, team, and set collector. My favorite players are Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre. As you probably can tell by my favorite players, my favorite team is the Green Bay Packers. As far as set collecting, I have two significant reasons for wanting to collect a set: 1.) I like the artistry and design of the cards. 2.) The amount I have left to complete set after purchasing an unopened box or a lot. For example, if I purchase a lot of cards, and get at least 75% of a base set, I'll put the rest on my want list. Additionally, I am interested in collecting parallel sets--mostly the green ones.  After two years of searching the Internet--Ebay, Sportslots, Facebook, and even the TCD, I finally received my last card in a recent trade to complete my 2014 Prizm Football Green Prizm set; a big thank you to ThirdCoastSportCard for the generous trade. See below for my current progress and TCDB links for what I'm actively working on collecting now:

PLEASE NOTE: My FS/FT may be a bit inaccurate due to a couple of transactions outside TCDb.  Please don't let that stop you from trying to work a deal though. I'll confirm that I have all of the involved cards before I accept a proposal. However, I do apologize in advance if I am unable to find a particular card that you're looking for from my list for a trade/purchase.

Let's make some trades!
------------------

Anything I have available in my FS/FT list is absolutely for sale.

------------------

About my collecting goals:

I am primarily focused on building vintage baseball sets. (If it's a vintage baseball card not on my want list, I might still be interested.  Just ask!)
Many modern cards on my wantlist, especially the Donruss puzzle pieces, are very low priority, but that doesn't mean that I'm not interested in trading for them.

Trade proposals:

I try to make fair and balanced trade proposals.  However, if I make one that seems imbalanced, please know that it wasn't intentional. I am always happy to review and consider counter-proposals. I am always looking for opportunities to "get to a 'yes'" when working through a potential trade. Some trade proposals just don't work out for one reason or another, and that's OK.

I will try to respond to all trade proposals in some form or fashion: a message, a counter-proposal, etc.  I respectfully request the same courtesy from other members.

I am happy to see if we can work something out, even if you don't have something from my wantlist. I'll often look at cards that are available on someone's FS/T list to see if there is anything I can use as "trade bait" in exchange for something on my FS/T list that a fellow collector has on their wantlist.

Card condition:

Conditions of cards, especially vintage, can vary. Regarding card condition, I generally don't like using the letter grading scale (e.g. Ex, VG, G, etc.) because those terms mean different things to different people. (Even the professional grading companies can't agree on what specific terms mean.)

I've tried to note my collection with any egregious condition issues (such as a marked checklist or very poor card condition), but sometimes I might have missed making specific notes here or there. If you are looking for specific condition of a card (especially vintage), please DESCRIBE what you are looking for such as "no creases/writing", "no marked checklists", or something similar.  It will help in trade conversations; I'm also more than willing to send photos of my cards. (If you have Twitter, that's an easy way I've found to swap photos and chat about a trade discussion. If you don't have Twitter, I will usually provide links to photos of the cards involved in a trade if requested; i usually use PostImages to share links to photos of cards involved in a trade.)

Regarding incoming vintage cards, I'm generally seeking to avoid cards with any major blemishes such as creasing, paper loss, writing, etc. Some corner/edge wear is generally OK as long as it's not too extensive.  Centering is generally not an issue unless the card is miscut. I will sometimes make condition exceptions on star cards that might make good placeholders.

For modern cards, I'm looking for NM/M condition.

When in doubt, exchanging photos is helpful. For easy photo sharing, I recommend using https://postimages.org/

    ---------------------------------------

    I also collect memorabilia from:

    • baseball (especially HOFers, current/former Dodgers, Giants, Yankees, and/or Angels)
    • football (SF 49ers)

I'm a set collector.  I'm working on completing all of the Topps Baseball sets from the 1970s.  I've completed the '70, '76, '77, '78, and '79 sets, and I'm really close on '73 and '74.  I'm at varying stages of completion for the others.  I'm also working on completing various sets from the 80s and 90s junk wax era - mostly baseball, but some football and basketball. I love trading!  I usually trade vintage for vintage and modern for modern, but I'm willing to consider anything reasonable.

Print code variations drive me crazy!  I know that some of you collect all of those variations, but I don't care about them.  Some of my cards are recorded with the correct variations, but others aren't.  If you care about the variations, I'm happy to verify that they are the ones you want - just let me know.

I've interacted with so many great people on this site, and I thank you all for that.  It's really fun to collect cards and to help you get the cards you want.

Got back into collecting and am going to collect Topps only, base sets. Am collecting both baseball and football.

I love trading and its generally more important to me to complete sets than to seek equal value, so I'm not afraid to take less if it helps complete sets.

When it comes to grading cards, I'll be as honest as can be. I look for as good condition as I can, and will try to trade the same.

Update; finally getting around to entering cards from late 80s and early 90s. Most of these are trade bait, I'm only keeping Topps, so I'll be very generous on trade offers with them. When I get around to putting basketball in, I will trade basketball for baseball or football. Trade away!!

Red Sox (#8 on 8/3/23) and Hall of Famers (current and future!)

    • Set collecting:
      • 1957, 1965, 1971 and 1972 Topps sets. I'll take anything in any condition if the trade is fair enough. I just like the design of the cards and I am hoping to accrue as many as I can before it gets too impossible to complete.
    • I am interested in any Red Sox card that I don't have. Exceptions to this are all the dot/no dot and/or letter variations from the nineties, as I only really need one version of those.
    • My cards listed for trade are at least NrMt unless otherwise noted. I try my best to grade cards using a few sources (Site 1Site 2), but will let you know if there's a surprise when I pull the cards for trade.
    • Please let me know if there are any notable condition details with cards, especially if vintage. I will try to ask when proposing/considering a trade as well.
    • I try to trade pre-80s cards for other pre-80s cards if possible.
    • If a card is marked as an autograph (AU) with condition "Ex" on my For Trade/For Sale list, that means it's a hand-signed, through-the-mail (TTM) autograph. Open to any offers for these cards if you're interested!
    • I am willing to trade any non-Red Sox autograph in my "Other Autographs" collection for any comparable autograph of a Red Sox player that I do not have an instance of already.
    • I usually trade using a PWE (plain white envelope - thanks AnalogKid) for up to 27 cards, but let me know if you prefer a different way to send cards. If more than 27 cards, I either go with 2 PWEs or a bubble mailer.
    • If you see something on my For Trade list but we don't match up well, let me know. I'm sure I can try to make a swap happen!
    • This is a great site. Thank you for trading!

Note: '88 - '92 Donruss, '91 - '92 Stadium Club, and '92 Leaf variations on my FT/FS list are up to date.

I have NOT separated my traders into dot and no dot variations (or letter variations).  If this matters to you, I do not mind checking for a particular one for your want list...

I do expect nm or better condition on 81-present cards (unless agreed upon lower condition in messages)  On vintage, I collect any condition except on upgrade lists.

If you do want to trade vintage, please be clear on what your condition requirements are....many of my extra vintage are in lower conditions..

Completed 2714+ trades with 617 different traders (in multiple groups) since 2005

Have lots of wants on my web page, not on this database

Everything in dupes collection is available for trade even if not in trade/sales list

I can only ship on weekends ....

Some of you may be frustrated that I turn off trades, but here is why:

I am in multiple trading groups, and simply do not have time to do more than 1 or 2 trades at a time

I am open to offers if you want to buy although my primary focus is trading.

Generally a set builder, trying to focus on one set at a time (mainly 70s-90's now). Some player specific focus (Tommy John, John Franco, Rusty Staub, Jim Abbott). Haven't traded since 2019 (too busy with work), and can probably only handle 3-4 trades per month (again, work, family, etc), but I want to get it 100% right when I do trade.  If you think a trade is fair, I'll most likely agree because I'm not out to hustle anyone - I collect for fun (and to feed my OCD tendencies).

I am selling my mostly-Mets collection due to Parkinson's Disease. Every card price is negotiable, and fairly substantial discounts will apply. Make me an offer!

I prefer selling, but I will entertain good trade offers as well.  I reserve the right to occasionally reject offers that you make, just due to the exhaustion and ennui that accompany Parkinson's.  I am also open to offers for my whole collection, including some pretty interesting pieces of Mets memorabilia that there's no way to list on TCDb, for any of you out there who still have more money than good sense.

In fact, I am willing to give my entire collection away for virtually nothing, if you are willing to come and take it all away.

NOTE: If you order any 1990s-era cards, and you care how many asterisks or periods are shown on the back, let me know at the time of quote, and I will decide whether or not to check, mostly based on the size of your request.

Collecting John Olerud, Toronto Blue Jays team sets, and 1974 to 2020 Topps base sets. My main collecting priority is Toronto Blue Jays team sets from Topps flagship and Topps Heritage (including variations and SP's).

I'm not currently very active in terms of posting in the forums and initiating trades, but I am still accepting trade offers and will respond within 24-48 hours. Thanks!

2022 represents an anniversary of collecting trading cards for 70 years. I spent 50 years as a set builder of baseball cards, but now I just collect cards of the above players with an occasional small set collection. At one time, I had an collection of complete sets of Topps and Bowman baseball cards (plus others) from 1954 forward plus quite a few cards from the 1952 Topps & 1953 Topps and Bowman sets. During the late 1980s and early 1990s I sold off the majority of those sets but still continued completing sets until 2002.

I've been trading online since 1994 and welcome any trade offers.  If I offer a trade, the cards normally have already been pulled prior to an acceptance, counter or decline. It is not a problem for me to re-file or exchange cards in a trade if needed.  I do keep records of my trading with my partners addresses and occasionally recheck those traders for future trades or sometimes just send along a PIF (pay it forward).  My one major disappointment with this site is that I did not find it many years before I did.  I will usually mail cards out promptly with tracking, however letely I have used PWEs for relatively small value trades.  Saying this, I welcome trade offers.  I do not expect to ever wind up with compete collections of any of the players I collect, nor do I want to.  I try to just enjoy my collecting habit and strive to make new friends in the hobby!

Last but not least, I do not sell cards, trades only.

I enjoy collecting football and baseball sets all major manufactures Topps, Fleer, Leaf, Upper Deck, Score (that all I can think of right now) 1970's to present,

I have also started a collection of my favorite NHL team the Nashville Predators.

Set building is my major goal condition is secondary. I do not mind a small crease or a rounded corner if a card is needed to complete a set.

I do not grade cards but I will let you know if a card has an obvious flaw before I accept the trade.

I do not mind PWE trades. I always ship in bubble mailers and with tracking if the budget permits. That is my personal preference I do not require or ask it to be yours.

As much as I'd like to do this full-time, this is still a hobby, and I'm at that age where life really gets in the way.  Due to a mid-day work schedule and a recurring back injury, trading will be off more than on, but if you have a query about a potential deal, I'll try to get back to you and see if we can find some common ground.

PC - John Elway. Also looking to fill holes in the sets I collected when I was younger, and trying to build the Topps baseball sets I missed out on when I stopped collecting for a while. Just recently started to build a collection of Texas Rangers Topps base parallels.

To get the most for my postage buck, I'm trying to keep my trades to either: 1.) - less than 20 cards or so (which will go out in PWE's), or 2.) - larger than 50 which will go out in bubble mailers. Also, unless they're something which I'm really interested in, I'll pass on trades of only 2 or 3 cards going each way.

I deal with some health issues and I'm not always the best at responding to messages and getting slower pulling cards for trades. If you reach out and don't hear from me it's nothing personal. I'll be taking some time off from trading to put my trades and purchases into their final resting place. If you think we have a large trade that you don't mind waiting a day or two longer than usual send me a note what you are thinking about and i'll try to get back to you.

Main focus is to complete my 1972 Topps baseball set.  I need around 80 more lower-grade high numbers (>#656).

I’m also looking to acquire, either through trade or purchase, a 2011 Topps Update Mike Trout rookie.  I would trade many personal collection cards for this since getting this card would complete my run of Topps base and Update sets from 1973-2022.

1970’s cards in for-trade list are generally in VG or worse condition.

Cardinals, Rod Carew, Brooks Robinson, Albert Pujols

I trade away all duplicates, inserts, and cards from sets I don't plan on completing.

Due to the limit on how many cards that can be placed on the wantlist, if you don't see it in my collection then I want it.

I DO NOT trade from my Collection unless there are two of the same card that you are needing.

As of right now My Trade list is turned off while I try and finally get organized 9/22/2023.

Primarily set building. Baseball, basketball, football, hockey, and a little soccer. I love rookies, stars and the local (MN) players.

I am actively working on a 1969 Topps baseball set of Ex or better quality. I'm about 70% complete. Vintage excites me the most, but I will be a little picky. I have some real good 1969 Topps baseball cards to offer in exchange.

I am also working on modern sets from 2001 to present. Generally, I trade commons for commons, inserts for inserts, and autos for autos.

If you have matches on my trade list, but nothing on my wantlist, please message me. I can likely find something I want in your trade list. I try to limit my wantlist to my active projects.

Buying and selling is in play, so feel free to offer.

    I like building sets.

I have Transactions turned off until I make sure everything looks good.  But feel free to shoot me a message if we have some common needs/wants and I can turn it on to work something out.

I will not accept trades where you're sending a bunch of common set needs for an auto or numbered card or big name.  Please message me first before proposing something like that.  (I will be slowly migrating all autos to "Have" from "For Trade" because of the offers that regularly come across.)

I collect Andy Van Slyke, Nats, and Cubs.  My sons collect mostly Cubs (all the big names - Bryant, Rizzo, Baez, Nico...)

I love big trades of common cards.

I've shipped to Canada, after proposing a trade in ignorance.  And I would do it again for big trades if I get some (re)coaching on how to do it best and we can keep it affordable.

Looking to trade for any and all St. Louis Cardinals that I do not have.  Only want cards showing the player in a Cardinals uniform (I do not need Nolan Arenado Rockies cards)  There are tons not listed on my want list that I need.  Always willing to listen to a trade offer.  Will also trade for Jose Altuve cards that my son needs.

PWE or bubble mailer is fine with me.  Please put all cards in sleeves or 9 pocket pages and use blue (or any color) painters tape over the top of any top loaders or sheets.  Shoving cards into team bags without a sleeve results in bent corners. I have received quite a few packages from traders who must own stock in a scotch tape company.  Don't over due it to the point that I may damage a card removing it from an envelope.  Bending over one edge of the tape to create a pull tab is always helpful.  Please let me know if you receive any damaged cards or postage due mailers from me so I can make it right.

I have not owned a price guide in over 10 years.  I try to use sold EBAY auction prices if trading for high dollar cards.  If I shoot you an offer that is way off, feel free to counter.  It is not my intention to insult anyone.

Still actively trading for all vintage needs. In the process of adding condition notes to my vintage FT list. Most of my vintage HOFers are packed up for a show the weekend of Aug 12 in KC, so I may be slow to respond to any trade involving them.

    2021-04-11

Adding some more modern stuff to my wantlists...to reiterate from earlier posts, I'm really only looking to trade Modern Dupes for Modern Needs....very rarely will I be interested in trading Vintage for Modern stars/RCs....even rarer vintage for Modern commons.

    2021-03-16

Completed several trades lately, thank you to those that have worked out deals with me! Typically speaking, I'd like to trade Vintage for Vintage and Modern for Modern...it is just easier to match up value for all involved.

RE: Vintage this isa  rough guide of the floor for what I am looking for condition wise...will always accept better condition than these guidelines, but don't want to go below them most of the time,

    1956 & older - Good & up. No paper loss/writing.

1957 & 1958 - VGish...I'm ok with creasing on the card if it still presents well...again no paper loss or writing, unmarked checklists please.

    1959 & 1961 - 1970 - EX+, relatively sharp corners, no worse than 70/30 front centering typically, no writing/paper loss

1971 - G/VG/EX - Better condition are welcome, but this set is such a b*tch, I'll basically take what I can get :)

    1972 - 1978 - Ex+/NM, well centered, decent corners, nice color.

Wax stains don't bother me at all.

    2021-02-23

Dudes, and Dudettes...I am so far not regretting my delay in joining the trading platform on this site...I've recieved a dozen or so trade offers, 2 I accepted withough delay because they were basically even all around......4-6 I'm still kicking around wheter or not it is worth a counter becuase they are all pretty unbalanced...asking me for Bowman Chrome RCs, SPs, etc for basically commons in bulk............Not completely unrealistic, but still, they are not what I am looking for.......and like, 4-6 trades have been just insulting....No, I'm not trading 20+ Heritage SPs for 70s commons. I mean, come on man, don't waste your time or mine with that stuff. I am 100% for helping people out, and don't need to 'WIN' every trade, but I'm not a sucker either.

    2021-02-19

Hey everyone...I've been around this site for years, but used it only to track my main PC and vintage sets... I've just recently started adding my entire collection, and it has led to major influx of trade offers. (I didn't even realize this site HAD messaging until about 5 minutes ago, so I apologize if ice neglected your messages)

Couple things on trades I'm looking for...

If I need a bunch of commons/semi stars in recent sets, that's pretty much the kind of stuff want to trade for them...not looking to trade an Acuna Rookie for a stack of 500 Commons or anything...

Vintage is priority...I'm updating my vintage stuff to reflect my extras, I will add a condition guide here in the coming days to focr you all an idea of the condition I'm after In each set...by enlarge I am NOT looking for beaters...there are very few exceptions to this.

Don't hesitate to toss me an offer...I plan on being much more active in the coming weeks/months in getting some sets built and helping others complete theirs!!

Prefer to trade for Toronto Blue Jays.

If I make you a trade proposal, and you don't want to trade, or you need time, or cards I want are pending, or you feel that I've unintentionally lowballed you, it's okay - at least decline the offer. Just declining my offers without any comment or trade revision doesn't really help me submit better trades.  The more I know about your wants/needs, the better chance I have of getting a good offer out to you.

Current U.S. to Canada first class postage rate (up to 2 oz.) is $1.50 up to 3.5 oz. ($2.75) and if non-machinable, $1.85up to $3.05. If you don't have Global Forever stamps handy, three regular Forever stamps work as well. There's also no need to pay $14.85 for shipping with international tracking, because it is just too expensive

SN/MANU and PR cards are not listed on my want list but feel free to include them in trade proposals - always interested.

Trading: PWE shipping, will use multiple envelopes if needed unless advised otherwise

Trading: A minimum of 12 cards going each way unless there is a true gem / vintage in the trade. PWE acceptable but prefer large trades of 250+ cards in each direction. Please confirm that you actually have the cards before Accepting a trade; I always do the same at this end. Vintage for vintage; HoF/stars for same; inserts / parallels for same, all as much as possible. Priority are vintage, OPC and sets on my UserLists. Having tried to offer cards from these lists will increase the chances of my Accepting a trade; totally disregarding these and offering me 12+ commons from a set that I am so far from completing that they do not make the list is more prone to being Declined, especially if I see you have cards for trade that are on my lists.

    ------------------------------

Stats: As of 31 December 2022:

Wants OPC Baseball: base sets 1965-1994 + 1981 Grey Backs and 1990 white stock test issue parallel - 344/13,896 cards (2.48%).

    Wants Topps Baseball: base sets 1951-2022 + 1952 Black backs, 1954 Canadian, 1975 mini parallel, 1993 & 1994 Gold parallel - 3,139/48,529 (6.47%). Breakdown by decade: 1951-60 - 1,191/3,816 (31.21%); 1961-70 - 1,041/6,135 (16.97%); 1971-80 - 408/7,721 (5.28%); 1981-90 - Complete; 1991-2000 - 70/7,856 (0.89%); 2001-10 - 148/6,986 (2.12%); 2011-20 - 3/6,841 (0.04%); 2021-22 - 278/1,320 (21.06%).

    Trading/PIF/Purchases on TCDb:

    2022 - 231 + 7 still In-Progress; Cards Sent - 13,922 / Cards Received - 13,530

Total since being a member: Cards Sent - 72,236 / Cards Received - 63,682 (# of trades really doesn't matter to me as it can be misleading to the quantity of cards have come and gone).

Sets completed through Trades/PIF/Purchases in 2022 - 85 sets including 38 base sets.

    ---------------------------------

    2023 Goals:

    1. Re-organize my Oddball / Food Issue Baseball sets. First attempt February 4. Will see how that works.

    2. Reduce OPC base set needs to less than 300.

    3. Reduce Topps base set needs to less than 2,700 (including the 2023 base set issue). By decade, 1950s to less than 1,000; 1960s to less than 900; 1970s to less than 300.

    4. Trade over 10,000 cards going each way.

    5. Complete 75 base / insert / parallel / oddball sets.

Mostly vintage cards from my childhood. I have a large selection of cards from the 1970s for sale and/or trade. I am adding those cards to my for sale/trade list on a weekly basis.

Completing series from the 1970s in baseball, basketball and football are my main priorities. Condition desired is usually EX but am willing to discuss other options to complete sets.

I am particularly interested in completing basketball sets from 1969-70, 1970-71 and 1971-72.

Interested in any Eric Davis or Tom Seaver cards (as a Red). I will usually find some Reds cards on your trade list that are interesting so don't be surprised when I counter to make your trade a little bigger.

VARs are up to date as of Nov 2022.

    Trading Priorities:
One of each Cincinnati Red in my lifetime (100%; 865/865 through 2022 season); (as a Red; 74.2%; 642/865; most I'm missing don't have one)
    Topps Cincinnati Reds 1952-1977 (69.7%; 556/798)
    Other Reds team sets
    2018-2022 Stadium Club
    Diamond Kings sets
    2017 Topps/Update - 1987-style set

Lower priorities: All-Star cards (base Topps, '80s rack pack inserts/Glossy Send-Ins/modern Update subsets, etc.)
    Topps 1978-present (95.6%; 28097/29407)
One card from each team from each year 1952-1977 (62.5%; 325/520)

ARMY DOMINATES MY TIME.  IF YOU NEED A QUICK TURNAROUND, DO NOT PROPOSE/ACCEPT TRADES WITH ME. A WEEK AT THE LEAST.

Cleveland Browns, Mets, Topps football sets.

Any Mets or browns that aren't in my "collection" are wants. There are just too many to simply add all missing cards to wantlist.

Would like to focus on Topps football.  Condition not necessarily a priority on older cards, just no holes, missing paper, wicked creases, rounded corners...

I dont have the patience to play the Donruss VAR game. It may be the one you need or it might not. Understand that when proposing trades.

PWE only at this point until I figure out the new budget. Also, please have a nine (9) card minimum.

I was first introduced to trading cards as a first grader in 1979 when a kid on the school playground gave me a 1979 Topps #107 Jesus Alou card and one other card (I don't recall which) at the kickball court.  I started collecting in 1980 by buying wax packs of Topps baseball (4 packs for $1) at the nearby 7-Eleven.  In 1983 I started purchasing complete sets of the big 3, as well as older Topps sets as my allowance allowed.  In 1986 I worked for short while for a card shop sorting vending cases of 1986 Topps cards into sets.  Collected mainly complete baseball sets until around 1987 at which point I sold about 2/3 of my collection (~15,000 cards) as I lost interest in collecting.   A few years after graduating college I resumed collecting certain players.  Never got too serious about collecting at that time due to other interests but never completely stopped either.  In 1998 I started to PC Stacey Augmon, as I was looking for something new to collect.  I discovered TCDB in 2020 when I was trying to find a way to inventory my Augmon collection, and picked up the hobby again during the pandemic.  Most of my collection is junk wax era or ultra modern.  I've purchased several large bulk lots via Craigslist and OfferUp, and buy mixed lots of newer base cards at my LCS.  I consider myself a collector, not an investor or flipper. I don't participate in breaks, submit cards for grading, or even open new wax so I'm not looking to strike it rich through collecting, nor do I have many higher end cards in my collection or for trade.  My collecting is completely self-sustaining, meaning all purchases are made through profits from sales, so I am never putting any "new" money into the hobby.

My main PC focus is Stacey Augmon, but I also collect some other players (football, basketball, baseball) who mainly played during the 90s (see favorites to the right).  My goal is to try and get as many different cards of my favorite players as possible.  I only build sets to sell.  Prefer to trade or sell on this site; not really looking to buy.

I love to trade and will respond to ALL offers one way or the other.  All cards for listed trade are NM or better unless otherwise specified; looking for same.  Condition is important to me, although I don't care about centering issues or wax stains.  I am ok with trading cards from different eras and across different sports, trading commons for stars and vice versa, and trades involving uneven number of cards, as long as the trade is fair.  I primarily utilize Sportlots pricing, but normally will just eyeball trade values for most base cards.  I am trying to downsize my collection so I am happy to trade quantity for quality.  Cards will be sent PWE unless they are valuable or there is a large quantity involved.  I generally shy away from trades smaller than 5 cards, unless they're worth more than $5 or so.  Prefer to make trades as large as possible by including as many cards on each others' wantlists as possible.  My goal is to get my For Sale/Trade list down to zero!  However, I am constantly acquiring new cards (ultra modern stuff in all sports) and adding them to my tradelist, so please check back often.  Please also note I am no longer listing multiple copies of cards on my FS/FT list as have started selling the duplicates on Sportlots, so if you are looking for multiple copies of a card, please ask.  I am also always open to selling if we can't find a trade match and will offer you great pricing.  More than anything else, I want you to have a good experience trading with me.  I'd much rather build good relationships so we can do more trades in the future.  If you are not happy with the cards you receive, let me know and I'll do my best to make it right.  I strive for win-win trades where both sides feel good, not trades where one side feels like they are being taken advantage of.

Have some complete sets available for trade or sale as well that are not listed on my sale/trade list: 1986 Sportflics Rookies - Trivia Cards, 1986 Topps baseball,  1990 Donruss baseball,  2020 Bowman baseball (x13), 2020 Bowman Prospects, 2021 Bowman, 1990 Score Magic Motion Super Bowl Trivia Cards, 1992 Pinnacle, 2020 Panini Absolute football, 2021 Panini Contenders Draft Picks, 1994-95 Collectors Choice basketball Series 2, 1998-99 Upper Deck Aerodynamics basketball insert set, 2020-21 Hoops,1991 Topps Desert Storm (x2).  I also sell low priced bulk lots (by set) of ultra modern cards on ebay (see my link below).  Normally lots of 50 to 200 cards for $5-$20.  Great for set builders or team collectors.

For anyone who is going through tough times: If you're going through some tough times whether financially, physically, mentally, relationally, spiritually or whatever and want to make a trade with me but just aren't in a position or have the means to do so, send me a PM and I'll see what I can put together from your wantlist for a free PIF.  After all, when it comes down to it, they're just pieces of paper with pictures on them.  I'd much rather bless someone who needs them than hold onto them.  I am a Believer with an eternal perspective and know that in the end you can't take anything with you.  This is just a hobby, not life or death.

My other collecting interests include sports magazines, sports autographs, and signed sports books.  If you're interested in trading my cards for your magazines, let me know.  In particular I'm looking to fill small holes in my collections of Sports Illustrated, Inside Sports, Sport and the National Sports Daily.  If you're interested in purchasing or trading for any of my autographed sports books let me know as well.  I have books signed by Alonzo Mourning, Apolo Ohno, Brandi Chastain, Chad Hennings, Dave Dravecky, Dennis Byrd, Dick Hoyt, Jim Nantz, Jim Tunney, Joe Garagiola, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Keith Dorney, Lou Holtz, Magic Johnson, Pat O'Brien, Pat Williams, Rex Ryan, Rod Payne, Rolf Benirschke, Roy Firestone, Shaun Thomson, Warren Moon.

    Update:

    9/11/23

Trades are open for a minute. I was in a bad card wreck 3 weeks ago and now I am trying to get some trades for people who ask if I am coming back soon.  And it's alot of people ask me. So please be understanding I have a back and neck injury that slows me down right now.  I am trying to help others out that is why I opened back you trading to see If I can do it.  In the past you all got your cards shipped out within the next day or two of me taking the trade.  It might take me a little longer to ship out with having so many Dr. appointments. but you will get your cards I dont have a perfect rating on here for people not getting their cards. I have done 1300 plus trades. an you can look at my feedback you will get your cards I just need some time. If you are ok with that then lets trade. Thank you for understanding.

    11/4/22

FOR THE LAST TIME I AM GOING TO SAY THIS. I DO NOT BUY CARDS ON HERE AND I WILL NOT DO BIG TRADES. I HAVE A SET LIMIT OF CARDS I WILL TRADE AND THAT IS THAT.

    10/25/22

Today just I just pick up this really cool lot of cards that I will be trying to work into the database. Another 8500 cards pick up with football and baseball 2017 to 2021. I will be taking some of it for my collection and I will be setting the rest free.

    4/2/22

I just got anther collection in most of it is Topps 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 with Opening day, and Update as well. It is not in the database as of yet if you are looking for base or RC I might have them.  I will try to get them into the database as soon as I can. Some of you know that I am also working on getting 350,000 plus cards in as well that was picked up and the first of this year. I hope this help you all out as I get closer to my 1000 completed trade being here.  I an getting slower on getting back to people on trade do to the face that I get a tone of trade offers each day. I will get to you just give me a little bit of time.

    Thank you

I will try this one more time. I will only do trades that are 20 Cards or less. If the trade is more then that I will decline the trade offer. I have lost to many card to big trades. An my no trade list is still in play.  If you keep asking for more then 20 cards at one time. You will be put on that list no question Asked.

I collect Diamondbacks,Mariners,D-Rays/Rays,Padres,Expos,Rockies,Marlins,Nationals and A's. I try and keep the trades close in value, when the gap is $10 or more I will decline. When the fun stops that kinda ruins the hobby. Almost completed 80 trades in 6 months on the site. I am slowly adding the rest of my doubles and still have hockey to get on here also.

So if you see a stray card from a year your looking for message me to see if I have more from that year or set. May have to get in touch with someone who can give me the details on trading with Canadian hobbyists.

***PLEASE DON'T TRY TO GET HIGHER PRICED CARDS FOR A COUPLE OF COMMONS. LETS WORK IT OUT TO BE FAIR ON BOTH SIDES.***

    12 September 2022 update

Been a bust challenging  month, new grand baby, transition to night shift(12hr) 4 days on 4 days off and a lot of proposals. I have slacked off on countering trying not to get more doubles and finding out I need to do some correcting/updating. Once again if there is a expiration on a deal then you might want to pass on making a proposal. Family first, job second hobby third. I will try to communicate as best as possible when sent larger trades.

***UPDATE ***As of August 2022 I am working nights, 4/12 shifts so my days off are always different. I try to stay on top of things but lately I have started to like sleeping. So  when you see a trade request for  early morning from me, well it is just the afternoon/evening for me. Hope to get more proposals and ones that don't expire in a couple of days when I don't respond or acknowledge.                                 As of September 5,2023 I have moved to a new address. While my cards are in disarray I hope to get back to trading soon.

Primarily a set builder, Dallas Cowboys, Rod Carew, Mike Trout. I'd collect Ted Williams if I could afford it. I love the Red Foil Parallel of 2014 Topps, I'll probably be asking for those in any trade I can.  And I'd like to get as many cards from players from my first high school as possible [https://www.tcdb.com/List.cfm/lid/6158/Jesuit-High?C=0]

Looking to work on sets pre-1986 (baseball and football) and recent Heritage/Big League, and a few PCs.

Note:  I've had trades turned off for awhile.  Maybe my trade list and my want list don't match very well?  But if you have a bunch of my wants and I have a bunch of your wants... from the same era/similar sets... message me.  I'm open.

I'm a collector, NOT an investor, and I deal solely on that premise.

I have my valuations and ANYTHING vintage (i.e. up through 1979) is considered more highly than anything newer.

I have tons of Wants from the overproduced late 1980s to early 1990s and I am looking to trade within that era for those, but I will go cross-sport, and will try to match HOFers, Stars, or Commons as much as possible in a card-for-card trade.

I ACCEPT lower conditioned creased and worn cards, but I wish to be told about them. The only flaws that I'll decline would be significant paper loss on fronts, markings or doodles that are excessive, or severely cut/torn cards. In those cases I'd still like to see scans to determine if they're acceptable. (I do NOT expect your condition requirements to be like mine.)

I vow to send securely and economically with VARs confirmed and condition issues noted or explained:

    1. At least 18 cards going each way in a PWE.
    2. Trades involving up to 90 cards will be mailed in medium to large business envelopes without tracking.
    3. Larger trades will be sent in most economical way possible (obviously with tracking).

Focusing on These for Now (And the only ones which I'll consider in trades smaller than the 18 minimum from above):

    • BASEBALL
      1. 1975 & 1978 Topps
      2. 1989 & 1991 Donruss Grand Slammers (master sets)
      3. 2001 Upper Deck Decade 1970s (base and related inserts)
      4. Any Topps Heritage New Age Performers
      5. Any food issued sets
    • FOOTBALL
      1. 1966 Philadelphia
      2. 1968 Topps
      3. 1987 Topps
      4. 1994 Ted Williams Roger Staubach's NFL (base and related inserts)
      5. 2009 Philadelphia
    • HOCKEY
      1. 1971-72 & 1978-79 Topps
      2. 1987-88 Topps
      3. 1989-90, 1990-91, 1991-92 Kraft sets
      4. 2001-02 Topps - 1971-72 Heritage
      5. Any food issued sets

Collecting: I collect Topps flagship baseball mostly working on my vintage sets now, Bowman base, Pro Debut, and Qypsy Queen. Depending on my cardboard addiction I will dabble in inserts and parallels but usually I just trade them away. Autos will ALWAYS take priority in trades with me and I will trade multiple cards for a single auto.

Shipping: I usually only ship once a week typically on Friday. All trades sent by me will arrive in a padded envelope with tracking. I'm totally fine with receiving PWE, though. Unfortunately I am forced to have to decline international trades as I've had too many cards either held in or damaged by Customs. Sorry about that, Blue Jays fans.

Purchasing: Maybe. 99.9% of my interactions here will be trades but I will buy autos or more expensive one-offs to finish a set if it's reasonable.

I can do team sets of certain players, I have Yankees, Mets from 75-present, I also have team checklist from 1973-92, I have 1989,90 NFL pro set of New York Giants and New York Jets. I don't list all cards on my want list of trade list. If I don't have it on the list (want, trade) I can get it. I work at a baseball card shop.                                                                                                                                                                                           You can email me at Newyorkyankeesfan20009@yahoo.com. 65 Football in VgEx or better
66 Football in Ex or better

IF YOU WANT TO TRADE, THOSE ARE THE CARDS I'M LOOKING FOR.  OTHERWISE WE CAN TRY AND WORK OUT A SALE.  PLEASE DON'T ASK "WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR X CARD" IF YOU HAVE NOTHING TO TRADE.

Most of my cards available are Vg+ to Ex but as usual some are much better and some will be worse. Writing on a card is a sin.  No card with writing should be graded higher than very good.

Baseball vintage $ > Football vintage $, that's just the way the world works.

And if you are looking to complete your 73 - 81 Topps baseball, I'm your guy!  Why I have almost 20,000+ doubles from those sets is beyond me 8)

I am looking to buy complete Topps baseball sets pre -1981 as well as HOF's PSA 7 or better pre-74.
I have multiple sets available for sale/trade post-1983 Topps/Fleer/Donruss/Score/UD.  Shoot me a message if interested.

I am first and foremost a set builder, though I'm always happy to get cards from my favorite players and teams.

I prefer to work on 1 or 2 large trades at a time, but will entertain smaller offers.

I do a pretty good job of keeping up with the VAR's, but I am sometimes behind on the most up-to-date ones.

This database is a great place for a collector. I've had all positive experiences on here all the people are great so far. If we do a trade and seems like your cards are not going to never arrived, they will, I can be a little slow. And most of the time when it comes to trading vintage and modern I would like that to be on like a 3:1 rate. It only makes sense.

    Transactions are ON, let's trade!

    My Collections--

    TCDb Trading--

    • For trades, when selecting cards from my want list, I prefer base set cards over parallels or inserts in order to complete team sets.
    • Open to any trade offer, just looking for equal value on both sides and cards from my Want list.
    • I'm most likely going to use a PWE (Plain White Envelope) to send trades unless the trade is for >28 cards or higher in value or you let me know otherwise before the trade is agreed.  Thanks!
    • I'll trade my few football and basketball cards for cheap if you want em!
    • I have a complete set of 1981 Donruss Baseball I got as a door prize that I wont take the time to completely add to my FS/T list.  If you want it, let me know and we'll work out a good trade for you.
    • FYI-- When adding new cards to my FS/T list, Ive decided to stop worrying about a lot of minor variants from the early 90's, such as the Donruss "." variants, Upper Deck hologram variants, and various copyright code variants.  If you want a specific VAR in a trade, please ask at the time of the trade and I'll make sure I've got the one you need.  I worried about it for a long time so most are entered correctly.   Thanks for understanding.

Top 10 Mets Team Collector on TCDB (#7).

I collect The Mets. Anything Mets related. All years all sets. I'm not currently doing the trademark/period/etcetc variant thing. If you are looking to trade for one of those cards, ask me and if I have time ill look.

I use prices on Sportlots to evaluate trades. If a card isnt on Sportlots, I go to COMC, then ebay. I do not think the prices on this site are too accurate, so I do not go by TCDB pricing.

I prefer to trade autos/relics/Ser #/higher value cards straight up for comparable ones on my wantlist. Comparable means close in year, relatively same caliber player and equal value. I probably won't accept a trade for 25/50/100/150/200 junk waxes/base for one of these type cards.

Check my wants and trade lists.

Also intestested in Wacky Packages, Kiss, anything Military/War.

After a quite long hiatus due to retirement/moving to a free state from the hellhole that is NJ/starting a farm, I am back and available for trading.

    Mets = I want it.

Not Mets = You can have it.

    How I collect:

Buy Product. Keep the Mets. Sell the hits. Trade the rest. Avoid questions from the wife.

Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans (Football) and Houston Astros (Baseball) are my passion!

Looking to trade across similar platforms (Years, Inserts and Parallels) but hit me up and see if we can work something out.  I have been a set collector for many years and don’t believe in the term JUNK WAX!  Base cards will be KING again! 😉

I have traded with a lot of great people on her since early 2000 and still have the drive to build each others collections!

This has been a great site to learn and grow this fantastic hobby!

Don’t hesitate to reach out if there is something we can trade!

OKAY THAT IS IT FOR NOW! NO MORE TRADING TO BE DONE BY ME. I am struggling financially - cannot afford the postage to send stuff out. Simple as that. Trying to get back into my career or management. Right now just a security guard.

Ask before submitting a trade request. If you don't, I will refuse your offer.. Locals to Twin Cities area and Minnesota have top priority.

My trade philosophy: Like to keep to a minimum of six cards due to postage. I am pretty easy going and not going to look up values on trades. If I have cards you want and you have cards I want, I am usually up for more of a 1:1 quantity trade assuming it's not me trading a bunch of SPs, serial numbered, etc, for base or junk wax. If you are going to quote Beckett pricing to me and not look at the actual market (e.g., card is listed on COMC for 1/2 of what Beckett says value is) then I am probably not the trade partner for you.  I prefer smaller PWE trades but will also do BMWT for larger trades or higher value cards. For my PWE, I will pack securely and use nonmachinable postage so your cards arrive safely.

    Priority of my want lists:
1 - Any and all Phillies cards (almost anything not in my collection is a "want")
2 - Various set ventures (baseball - 1972 Topps, 2016 Topps Chrome, Archives, Heritage sets, then hockey sets)
    3 - Baseball HOFers (1980s)
    4 - Baseball HOFers (1970s)
    5 - Baseball HOFers (1990s)
6 - Baseball HOFers (other decades)

If there are any other categories of want lists, they would fall between set completion and HOFers.

I added approx. 90,000 cards available for trade in early 2023.

[The next section has been updated on 9/22/2023]

Note: I have transaction requests turned on, trade proposals will be handled in the order in which they are received. I am continuing to take it slow because I don't have the time or patience to take on too many trades at once. Additionally, I have found that it makes it easier on both sides because the cards are known to be available. And please, when we do trade, please make it so that the postage to/from your location to mine makes a trade worthwhile for both of us. Thank you.

Please also note that I am very much open to selling in addition to trading. If you see stuff you want and don't have anything in return, that's okay. We'll work out a deal that will be fair for both of us, not just me (and not just you, please). (The listings over at the SwamiLee account are in my possession and I am also selling those. The only sport left there is baseball.)

Thanks for reading my profile. I enjoy trading cards I don't need for those that I do. I've been in this hobby for many years (I remember opening 1955 Bowman packs at our local candy store)! I usually don't pull my end before making a proposal; most times, I'm trying to get a feel for how doable it is, and it saves me from having to refile cards if things fizzle out or if I'm countered.  I will, however, (usually) pull before accepting a trade.  Please counter, if need be!  Communication is key to good trading!   I have some physical limitations..it may take me a bit to pull cards so your patience is appreciated!

    1.  My top priority is completing sets.

    2.  Recent Phillies teamsets and inserts.  I do multiple teamsets to help local Philthies Phans!

    3. Older Phillies teamset needs..all brands.

As mentioned, I love to trade, will reluctantly sell ... cheap, if we cannot swap!  PLMK what I have that you can't live without!  Phillies is my team, through thick and (mostly) thin!  PWE trades are great and assumed unless we agree otherwise - bubbles used if worth the shipping costs!  Slowing down though - the old body won't let me hoss those 5000 count boxes too much - thanks in advance for your patience with me!!

Hey all! Like a lot of guys, I was a collector in the early 90s, stepped away for a while and then came back in 2018 (and even harder in 2020 during the pandemic) to rediscover my love for this hobby.

I'm a set builder through and through; with the exception of Barry Sanders, I don't PC any particular players, and I don't care about inserts, parallels, parallels to inserts, autos, relics, etc. I trade those as soon as I get them. The base set is king, always has been. I'm not an investor, just a collector having fun.

As for trades: I check this site daily, respond quickly to offers and ship quickly. I think it's reasonable, on a site dedicated to trading, that others will do the same, so if you log on and don't bother to check your trade offers within a couple days, I'll move on. Communication is so easy and quick on here, so if you need more time, that's fine. Just talk to me and we'll work it out. I've done 950+ trades and still have a 100% rating because I care. PWE is preferred on both sides, though anything above 36 cards (two PWEs) usually goes in a bubble mailer.

Sets: I'm a Topps guy who recently finished building out all the base sets from 1983-2023. Working currently on a couple of Chrome and Update sets. Being a junk wax guy, I always have a soft spot for those early 90s sets (nearly every set from 1993 is beautifully designed and underrated, and I'll die on this hill; seriously, revisit Leaf, Donruss, Flair, Fleer and Upper Deck from that year; they hold up). I don't really care about vintage cards either, so anything prior to 1983 generally gets traded right away.

Look forward to working with you all of you and having fun in this hobby!

UPDATE: I have turned off trading for the time being. This is not because I don't want to trade, but rather because I have less and less time to keep my lists up to date and keep up with the trades. And, because it is not fair to those of you who have sent trade requests that I have missed or haven't gotten to. My apologies to those of you who fall in this category. If you are interested in a trade, rest assured I am too. But, until things slow down a bit, send me a message on here or on Twitter first.

I started collecting baseball cards as a kid in the mid to late-80s and collected them through the early 90s. I started out collecting them with my old man, and I look back on those days wistfully. We'd sit up at night and put together sets and lists of our missing cards and that was a great thing to share with him. At some point, though, I outgrew wanting to share that experience with him, choosing instead to share the hobby with my friends. Then I started to notice girls and found other things to spend money on. I boxed up all the cards and traded the innocence of collecting baseball cards for other, less wholesome pursuits.

At some point over the course of the next 2 and a half decades, I somehow outgrew the nomadic life, became an adult, got married, found a permanent place to live, and jumped on the wildest ride of my life: fatherhood. In a fit of cleaning out my old room to make space for her new grandkids (my sister's kids at the time), my mother transported all of the cards from my childhood bedroom and brought them to live with me. To the attic they went, and in the attic they stayed for the better part of the last decade, hidden away and silent.

While working from home during quarantine, I repurposed the attic into a makeshift office to hide from my two kids, who were also at home, and who, despite my and my wife's best efforts, have no conception of privacy or quiet, and care very little for anyone else's productivity--especially when it comes at the expense of their most immediate desire. Stuck in the attic, armed with a laptop, and facing long days of working in solitude, there sat my baseball cards staring back at me, summoning me from a place and time long since gone. In a moment of sports deprived weakness, I answered their call and opened up a couple of boxes to look at my old collection. Glorious!

Within days of our local economy's soft reopening, I found a local card shop, escaped my attic, drove to it, donned a mask, and walked in to buy some new cards. I quickly learned that the days of the $0.50 pack had passed me by--quite a while ago it seems. Undeterred by the effects of what seemed to be hyper-inflation in an economy I had ignored for some 27 years, I left with not one, but two BOXES of baseball cards. Upon opening up the many packs of new cards, I discovered the advent of the insert card's prevalence, and that, unlike unicorns, autographed cards actually DO exist in packs (helllooo Pete Alonso!). Fascinated, and in need of boxes in which to store the cards and toploaders in which to protect them, it was back to the card shop for me. A couple of carboard boxes, a few bags of penny sleeves and some toploaders just couldn't be the extent of my second excursion. So, much like an addict in search of a fix, it was another box of cards for me.

But, this new lifestyle of big spending on cards I knew nothing about would prove to be unsustainable as my wife and I are also tasked with feeding, clothing, and sheltering (in place) these two children we created. Alas, it was back to the attic for me, and back to shuffling through all of my old cards, sorting out the commons from the hall of famers, sorting out the steroid users from the clean players. Thus, a new collection was born. Hall of Famers. Those are the cards I want to collect.

But, I needed a mechanism for organizing what I had, and what I wanted to get. When I bought my last pack of cards as something other than a novelty back in 1993, the internet was not yet a thing, at least not one to which I had access. I thought: Surely there is some mechanism online to help me organize these cards, and give me reason to continue sorting through this mess. And, after minimal searching on the worldwide web, I discovered TCDB. What a brave new world this is.

I look forward to getting back into the hobby. But, for now, I am going to stick to trying to collect Hall of Famers, mostly vintage (which, I have learned, is now a word in this industry that describes me). I'm less concerned with a card's grading, centering, corners, or condition than I am with the name and face on it. I'm not in this as an investment; I'm in it for an escape. Hopefully when this little 2 year-old ages a few more years, he'll begin to enjoy collecting baseball cards as much as his old man did once upon a time. If so, I hope to bequeath to him a worthwhile collection and to share the experience with him for as long as he'll have me.
