Retired and ONLY seling the thousands and thousands of cards I have. I will be putting cards on the FS/FT as I inventory what I have. I also have an ebay store https://www.ebay.com/str/roguesportscards with cards that are up for sale as well. I'm not leaving the collecting of cards I'm just trying to reduce the inventory because I live in a 5th wheel and don't have a lot of room.

I also give cards away. While they're not high dollar cards they're still FREE. The more you purchase the more FREE cards you will receive.

Any and all Braves cards from 1954 - Present (RIP Hank Aaron).

I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

Willing to trade just about anything for Braves cards......

I have been trying to do the impossible and collect the entire 2016 Topps and Update Sets. Any help would be appreciated!

As a child, I was obsessed with baseball cards, to the point that I could look at a card, any brand, any year, and tell you exactly the year and the best cards in that set. Now I'm 39 years old and the obsession is even worse (or better, depending on how you look at it).  Working for Topps would be a dream job at this point.

Things I collect:

  • Darryl Strawberry Cards (Currently Ranked #6)
  • Aaron Judge Cards (As of 4/19, following watching him rob Shohei Ohtani of a HR and then hit a bomb the following half inning).
  • Current and Past Year Topps Sets 1, 2 and Update base cards & certain inserts (priority to the 35th Anniversary Cards, Redux cards and Black Gold, but there are others that I like)
  • Current and Past Year Topps Chrome and Update base cards & inserts (again, priority to 35 Anniversary & Redux cards)
  • Other inserts and parallels that look cool.

Right now I’m mostly focusing on adding to my Darryl Strawberry Collection, but also looking to complete the 2021 and 2022 Topps Main Sets & Updates, as well as Chrome.  I'm also beginning to collect Aaron Judge cards.

My preference is to trade duplicates from 2021 and 2022 for cards that I need from those sets, but I’m willing to trade any number of them to get parallels and serial numbered cards.

All cards in my collection are available in the right deal! Every day, I'm adding more cards to my For Sale List, most of which are in great condition.  Any cards you might be interest in, I'll check out before finalizing a deal.

I prefer sending cards through PWE, so that I can make more trades, but will send in a Bubble Mailer if there are more than 20 cards, or a higher value card that is being moved.

I check this site a lot, so send trade offers away!

White Sox. More specifically, Paul Konerko, Frank Thomas, and Mark Buehrle, but all White Sox in general.

I also working on collecting Allen & Ginter sets, a little at a time. I could be persuaded to trade off most A & G inserts for White Sox A & G inserts that I need. I have those listed in my collection, not For Sale/Trade, so If you are interested, take a look at the collection and send me a message.

Also, I am only Trading, not Buying or Selling. Things get messy with money. And, I don't want "Homework." Meaning, if you want to trade, send a trade. Please don't send me messages asking me to send you a trade. I am more than happy to counter if I think it isn't fair, etc. Thanks!

Please be patient with me, as I usually don't get to look at a trade proposal for a couple of days, at least. I'm not ignoring, I just don't live on my computer. I am always interested in trading, but I work overnights and have three kids. That obviously comes first. Also, I only will be making Post Office trips on Mondays and Fridays. I always use PWE as a default, unless otherwise requested. Thank you for understanding.

8/24/2023 - UPDATE: I've done quite a few sales following my prior note.  Thank you to all who sent proposals.  I am turning trading back on, but will definitely still consider selling to anyone who is interested.  Thank you!!

Came across tcdb.com towards the end of 2019, and I have now completed over 1,400 transactions, with over 22,000 cards changing hands!  Love everything about this site.  I have met so many cool people from all over the Country, and even a few from Canada and beyond. (Just completed a trade to Finland, as a matter of fact).

Stole this from another member, but......my goal is to have zero cards in my For Sale/Trade List.  So keep the proposals comin'!

(I know my Want List is relatively small, so I am certainly willing to Sell cards if we don't have enough matches to work out a trade)

My PC list is as follows (with TCDB rankings as of 9/28/2023):

NBA: Giannis (5), Dirk Nowitzki (4), and Tim Duncan (2).

NFL: Sterling Sharpe (3), and Don Majkowski (2)

MLB: Aaron Ashby (1), Roberto Clemente (1), Jackie Robinson (2), Robin Yount (8), Tony Gwynn (6), Hal Morris (3), Mark Grace (7), Ethan Small (1), Pat Listach (1), Corbin Burnes (1) and Mark Langston (1)

WWE: Lita (4)

UFC: Conor McGregor (4)

Non-Sport: Eddie Vedder, Judah Friedlander, Big Jay Oakerson, The Brothers Osborne (TJ & John), Rob Riggle, Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, Charlie Berens, Post Malone and Brody Stevens

Although I currently live in Florida, I was born in Milwaukee.....hence my obsession with Wisconsin sports teams.  Ha.

Please check out my For Sale/Trade list, and feel free to message me or send me trade proposals any time.....let's see what we can get done!  (I don't necessarily trade based on "book value", but rather the value to me, so please feel free to counter if I propose a trade that you feel is unfair.  I also have no rules about "insert for insert" or any of that nonsense, so don't be shy to shoot me a proposal)

Yankees are my number one team.

Dolphins are my favorite football team.

The Miami Heat is my number one basketball team.

I have a bunch of cards that have been occupying my wife's Linen Closet for 20 years now.

She would like her closet back.

So now that I have the time, I will be listing them for sale/trade here

or on Ebay (9SEC93LX).

When trading it is assumed that all cards are ~NM or better for moderns.

Earlier years I will accept EX cards in trade.

I understand that some years the centering was particularly heinous for some brands (Topps).

But I do NOT collect cards that are miscut so severely that the borders are missing/almost missing.

Any exceptions conditionwise should be mentioned BEFORE shipping.

I collect/store my cards by teamsets and will be looking to trade away the "other teams" to feed my Yankees/Dolphins addiction...

I'll do PWE or larger trades/sales as necessary.

But must ask that you make all trades worth at least the cost of postage or better.

I first started collecting in 1990, took a long break (20+ years) and started collecting again in 2020. I primarily collect my favorite Astros players (past and present) and Topps Houston Astros team "sets".  I am also collecting Houston Astros pocket schedules.

My favorite atheletes are:

  1. Nolan Ryan
  2. Jeff Bagwell
  3. Craig Biggio
  4. Earl Campbell
  5. Hakeem Olajuwon

I love to trade and want to help others who enjoy collecting as much as I do, build/complete their collections, while collecting every different card of my favorite players.

Now the #1 collector of Ryan Klesko cards on TCDB!  With more to come!

PC:

High priority: Ryan Klesko, Dale Murphy, Dave Winfield, Dominique Wilkins, Kenyon Yovan, Michael Conforto, Adley Rutschman, Nick Madrigal, Trevor Larnach, Steven Kwan, Cadyn Grenier, Drew Rasmussen, Gary Payton II, Jacob Melton, Will Frisch, Cooper Hjerpe, Justin Boyd, Nahshon or Rezjohn Wright, Terry Baker, Christian Chamberlain, Gary Payton, Ethan Thompson, Darwin Barney, Jake Luton, Jermar Jefferson, Hamilcar Rashed Jr, Luke Musgrave, A.C Green "In the Name" cards, Jade Carey.

Lower priority: Junior Seau, some Bo Jackson, Eric Lindros, Jordan Poyer, Mike Hass, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Jacoby Ellsbury, Steven Jackson, Nick Barnett, Matt Moore, Ochocinco/Chad Johnson, Sean Mannion, Johnny Hekker, Sam Gaviglio, any Oregon State alum/player in any sport (male or female).

PLEASE SEND TRADE OFFERS.  It's my favorite part of the hobby.  Always willing to negotiate a good deal for both sides.  One card, or 10+ cards.  I'm fine with any size.  USA & Canada only, unless the card is significant enough to me to ship overseas.

I do NOT collect/keep any other cards of any other players/teams.  If the card isn't a unique card to me of one of my guys above, it's not something I will keep.  I don't want duplicates either.  I'll trade it or sell it if it's something I think I can move; otherwise, no thanks.  But I DO want any card of any of my PC guys if I don't already have it.  My trade/sell and want/wish lists are updated, so if it's not on those lists, it's highly unlikely that I'm interested in it, or I already own it.

Fan of: all OSU sports, Braves, Red Sox, Blazers, Chargers, Flyers, Timbers, Tottenham FC.

Goal for VINTAGE ONLY CARDS (condition NOT very important...just no rips/tears, no writing on the front...some creases ok): Hank Aaron (preferably in a Milwaukie uniform, but not required), Mickey Mantle pre-1969 (earlier the better), Babe Ruth any vintage year, Joe DiMaggio any year, Lou Gehrig any year, Ted Williams pre-1955, Jackie Robinson any year, Shoeless Joe any year, Jimmie Foxx any year, Satchel Paige any year, and Stan Musial pre-1960.  For basketball, would like a Alcindor while in Milwaukie, early Doctor J, Oscar, early Magic/Bird, Bill Russell, Wilt, David Thompson, Cousy, Mikan, Moses & maybe a couple others.  Prefer to stay as cheap as possible, but for the right card might go a little higher...obviously Mantle/Ruth/Joe D/Wilt and those types would be more.  Again, condition I know won't be great at these prices.  I now have a Hank, Mantle, Jackie, Clemente, Bob Gibson, Ernie Banks, Sandy Koufax, Mays, Jerry West, Maravich and Gervin at these levels, and a couple of Ted Williams, that I'm very happy with.  But the more the merrier if the price is right!

  • I will typically send cards via PWE unless the quantity is above 20 and then I will send BMWT.  If you wish a smaller trade to be sent BMWT, please let me know & adjust the trade accordingly.

TCDB rankings as of 8/20/23:

  • Klesko (1st) - 950 unique cards
  • Dale Murphy (8th) - 542 unique
  • Winfield (5th) - 640 unique

  • Mike Hass (2nd) - 20 unique
  • Stephen Paea (2nd) - 13 unique
  • Steven Nelson (2nd) - 8 unique
  • Ryan Nall (2nd) - 7 unique

VERY willing to trade/negotiate.  I live to  trade...send me ALL trade requests!  Would prefer trades to purchases, although I know my PC is pretty limited in the grand scheme of things.  Just got back to the hobby in 2020 after approx 30 years out of it, and about 20 years after selling off 99% of it to pay for our wedding.  I forgot how much I loved it!

I am a set builder

Most of my want lists are now inserts

Filling sets from the Late '80s and '90s and  2021 to present

New here and I am slowly organizing my collection. Good thing I am a widower because my kitchen table is a disaster.

If you offer a trade please give me some time so that I can locate the cards - I don't have a really good filing system yet! It is a work in progress.

will also trade #' ed cards that are in my PC so if one catches your eye or a need you may have, shoot me a trade proposal

also have some unopened packs from 1987 and more for trade including silver packs from 22 and 23 that I can include to trade for higher value cards.

I still have more to post in my collection and cards to offer in the next few weeks, so check back often

I  am currently working on Master sets of Topps from the early 90s and most of those needed are VARs

************************************************************

IF I AM REQUESTING "VAR" OF CARDS FROM A SET, BE SURE THEY ARE CORRECT! BUILDING A MASTER SET REQUIRES ALL VAR OF A CARD ( "dot", "no dot", Different Print Codes, ETC...)

***********************************************************************************

Since joining TCDB, I have completed the master set of 1986,1987,1988 and the 1992 Topps ,92 Stadium Club (1800cards) sets as well as the 1983 Fleer!  Only 40 years later...LOL

My Favorite BB team is the Mets and have been since 1976 many tough years and hopefully, this season will be good!!

Any size trade will be considered!

I don't pull cards until a transaction is suggested, but rarely can I not find all the cards to trade

I will purchase if need be but really enjoy trading, will do any combo of cards and cash as well

I ship cards, 99% of the time, on the same day Trade has been agreed upon. Unless it is a weekend. I would like the same courtesy. If possible- THANKS and happy trading!

A day without a proposal is NOT a Good day for me

Oct 2023 - Trading is turned back on after a break

*******************

I’m a team collector first - my Detroit Tigers! The Wantlist is being expanded gradually as I decide to chase more Team Sets. But I wouldn't mind trading for any other new-to-me Tigers if we're trying to work out a large trade.

A player collector too, starting with my Tiger heros Alan Trammell, Magglio Ordonez (TCDB #1!) Miguel Cabrera, and Justin Verlander. For non-Tigers, I have PC tiers but the key list of players I'll trade for beyond my Wantlist: Mike Schmidt, Frank Thomas... and maybe Juan Soto and Ronald Acuna for current players.

Working on an eclectic list of sets too: from 1975 Topps to recent Stadium Club

Open for trading! Here's some preferences and what to expect with me:

3 things I'll promise, and that I would generally expect from others:

1) I'll communicate openly and quickly. I always respond to trade proposals, questions, etc. If it takes me 2 days, I'm probably busy at work. If it takes 7 days for me to reply to a simple message or proposal - please call 911 for me.

2) I'll send good cards and package them well. Anything I'm trading after 1985 or so should be in "pack fresh" condition, and that means pretty much Gem Mint for modern glossy-stock cards. And there's no point in caring for cards only to send lazily packaged PWEs. (See note below about 1975 Topps and condition)

3) I'll be honest and act with good intentions. Everyone makes mistakes, but if I send the wrong card or don't notice some damage - I'll make it right.

I'm open to trades of any size, 1 or 1000 cards. I've learned to send good PWE's for 18 or even 27 cards, but I'd love to do more extra large trades. Small PWE's are fine, but it has to be worth the stamps.

Everything on my want list is something I really want, and everything on the for-trade list is up for grabs. I'm willing to trade across ages and values, i.e. a hit card for a batch of set-build commons. I'm not evaluating offers with a calculator in hand, but I do have ratios in mind, so be ready to offer me 20 commons for that hit.

That said, you can't insult me, so offer away and counter my offers, let's have fun! It's great to match up with other team collectors and set builders. If you match my trade list but not my want list - let me know, or take a stab at picking cards based on the notes above.

***Special Note about 1975 Topps condition: I've started adding in my set build doubles to trade, and I'm trying to give condition ratings and guidance for trading. I'm not a grader, I just know what I like, so here's what my ratings mean: "Poor" means it has a distinctive flaw and it doesn't make the cut for my set. Any stains or pen/pencil marks, wax stains, paper loss, significant creases, and severe off-centering make it poor to me. There's a couple otherwise NM cards with one small "fatal flaw", but you should otherwise consider these filler. "Fair" means it's a fairly well-loved card, and not set worthy to me, some of these would probably grade a notch higher. "Good" means I was OK with it in my set, but I found a better card, many of these would grade a notch or two higher. And "Very Good" means it was a coin flip with the card I kept, probably half of these are actually EX.

Priority of my want lists:
1 - Any and all Phillies cards (almost anything not in my collection is a "want")
2 - Various set ventures (baseball - 1972 Topps, 2016 Topps Chrome, Archives, Heritage sets, then hockey sets)
3 - Baseball HOFers (1980s)
4 - Baseball HOFers (1970s)
5 - Baseball HOFers (1990s)
6 - Baseball HOFers (other decades)

If there are any other categories of want lists, they would fall between set completion and HOFers.

I added approx. 90,000 cards available for trade in early 2023.

[The next section has been updated on 10/25/2023]

Note: Currently transactions are OFF.

When I have transaction requests turned on, trade proposals will be handled in the order in which they are received. I am continuing to take it slow because I don't have the time or patience to take on too many trades at once. Additionally, I have found that it makes it easier on both sides because the cards are known to be available. And please, when we do trade, please make it so that the postage to/from your location to mine makes a trade worthwhile for both of us. Thank you.

Please also note that I am very much open to selling in addition to trading. If you see stuff you want and don't have anything in return, that's okay. We'll work out a deal that will be fair for both of us, not just me (and not just you, please). (The listings over at the SwamiLee account are in my possession and I am also selling those. The only sport left there is baseball.)
