My first love is for my favorite local Minor League team the MidWest League Cedar Rapids Kernels and past team monikers.

Declining trade offers with no message is of little use to the person initiating the trade, show some effort to those putting together trade offers and take a few seconds to note why the trade doesn't work in its current state. A few moments to communicate can lead to a deal getting done!

12/4/2023 - Updated my PC lists, so there will be a mass of Jackie Robinson, Roberto Clemente & Corbin Burnes cards available for sale/trade here soon.  As I mention below, my want list is quite narrow, so I am more than willing to sell cards if we don't match up for a trade.  

Came across tcdb.com towards the end of 2019, and I have now completed over 1,500 transactions, with over 23,000 cards changing hands!  Love everything about this site.  I have met so many cool people from all over the Country, and even a few from Canada and beyond. (Just completed a trade to Finland, as a matter of fact).

I've been a baseball collector since the late 80's and love to trade.  I am primarily a set collector and belong to several online trading clubs.  My never ending goal is to collect all the regular issued Topps cards from 1952 to present.

My main collecting interests are vintage cards,  Minnesota Twins,  a few newer sets and Bert Blyleven.

I guess it's time that I put a real profile description on here, as I've been around for a couple of years and am starting to ramp up my trading.

I am a baseball only collector. I owned a card store for about 9 years in the heyday of the junk era boom (1989-1998). When I closed it, I put the cards in storage for about 8 years, not touching them until roughly 2006.

 I decided in 2020 to narrow my collecting focus to only two areas:

1980's oddball sets if they were produced by one of the big five (Topps, Donruss, Fleer, Score and Upper Deck) Here's all I need from that era:

Some 1988, 1989 and 1990 Topps Stickers (1981 through 1987 complete)

Some 1983 Fleer Star Stickers (all other years complete)

A full set of 1980 Topps White Back Supers (all other years complete)

A full set of 1980 and 1981 Fleer Laughlin Team Logo stickers

1984 Fleer Update Gooden and Clemens to finish the complete run of 1984-1991 Fleer Update sets

A complete set of 1981 Topps Scratch-offs

Complete sets of 1983-1989 OPeeChee Stickers (have 1982)

All of the Topps Team Checklists from 1980-1982 (not the pack pulled ones, the ones that were printed on thinner cardboard sheets)

1970-1976 Kellogg's sets (I have completed 1977 through 1983. I might give up on this quest as these don't meet my criteria of being made by one of the big five, and finding older ones uncracked is hard and expensive.

A fair number of 1982 Fleer stamps (1983 is done)

I have tens of thousands of star cards from football, basketball and baseball not listed in my FS/FT yet, but will be working on that as time allows. Since joining TCDB, I have completed the master set of 1986,1987,1988 and the 1992 Topps ,92 Stadium Club (1800cards) sets as well as the 1983 Fleer!  Only 40 years later...LOL

My Favorite BB team is the Mets and have been since 1976 many tough years and hopefully, this season will be good!!

Any size trade will be considered!

I don't pull cards until a transaction is suggested, but rarely can I not find all the cards to trade

I will purchase if need be but really enjoy trading, will do any combo of cards and cash as well

6-27-23 Update:

I have had to turn off trades for a while, I am a full time art show artist, and this is my busy season. I simply do not have time to pull trades and give them the time that they deserve. I will be back when my season slows down late fall. I appreciate all of the wonderful trades I have made and look forward to doing so many more!

Yogi Berra #1 on TCDB. I have almost all of Yogi's vintage playing days cards with only oddball cards left. So I am going after his modern cards too. I have all of his cards on my want list minus 1/1's, autographs, and multi player memorabilia cards but am always interested if anyone has them. 

Roy Campanella #1 on TCDB. I am in the same boat with Campy. I have almost all of his vintage cards with very few oddballs left. I am going after his modern cards with the same exceptions as with Yogi. 

Pee Wee Reese #1 on TCDB. Same as with Campy and Yogi, my Pee Wee Vintage needs list is short with only oddballs left. So I am doing the same with him. 

Jackie Robinson. Jackie is primarily for my daughter, she is a bigger Ernie Banks fan but we get Jackie for her too.

Ernie Banks: #6 on TCDB. Marley's Heaven Daddy passed away when she was 6 months old and his favorite player was Ernie. During Covid, I got back into cards and Marley's Mom pulled out her Heaven Daddy's cards. He had a handful of Ernie vintage cards so she wanted to collect more of them. She has his complete base career run and several oddballs, but we are trying to attain the rest. She sells and trades her own cards to get more Ernie and has sold some of her toys to buy vintage cards as well. I would like to finish putting my sets together. Iam constantly listing all my single cards for trade. I really would like to just trade. Any size trade works for me, 95% of my cards that I am trading are from packs and boxes I ripped open, either I liked the look of the cards or was chasing autographs. I have takin care how the cards were stored, Please have patients Family Work And Life come first, I would like nothing more than spend hours relaxing in this hobby.
