I trade cards to build baseball, hockey and some miscellaneous sports / non-sport sets. I also PC Felipe Alou, Derek Aucoin, Steve Begin, Jennifer Botterill, Kevin Dineen, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Bob Kudelski, Manon RheaumeGabriela Sabatini and P.J. Stock as well. I do not buy cards. I also have a sweet spot for oddball / food issue / regional sets. New cards are regularly added to my FT/S list and all the cards I list here are NRMT or EX unless specified and I expect the same of you.

I don't collect micro-variations (dots, stars, copyright marks, holograms, printing plate codes...), they're not fun to search and I dislike the incessant frequency with which new ones are added. Seriously, what's the point if you gotta need to use a magnifier glass to check out if there's a dot on the back of a 1991 Fleer? However, I do all my best to check all my cards and to keep my lists up to date, but please ask me first, if micro-variations matter to you. The site really needs some way of opting out of micro-variations (just a default / any var. / unverified option for each card).

Besides helping to complete our collections one step closer each time, the opportunity would be nice to have traded with all the states, provinces and territories of North America. On this site only, I traded with members in 46 states, D.C., 9 provinces, N.W.T. and overseas. I can't wait to have a trade in Alaska, Delaware, North Dakota, Wyoming, Manitoba, Nunavut and Yukon. However, if you don't live in the above jurisdictions, you're still more than welcome to trade with me. No trade to Russia, Belarus and Iran.

I'm an easy going, helpful and patient guy, but here's now my turn to announce that my NO TRADE LIST is growing due to an increased lack of civility on the forums and the full site. If (1) you nitpick and/or always have an opinion on anything and/or act like you own the site and you're not Admin or (2) you do not respond to counters or decline without expressing a reason or don't PM me to ask more time after several days of wait or (3) you send me ridiculous off-balanced offers or (4) you accept the trade and you can't mail your cards in a timely manner or you send me loose or severly damaged cards or (5) have a brand new (empty) account without info / feedback and ask for valuable cards or (6) you clearly didn't read my profile (ask first, at least) and ask me to buy your cards, then chances are that you just won a place on my NO TRADE LIST regardless of how much I may want what you have.

I am fine with shipping cards in single or multiple PWEs, if the cards are properly packaged. Also, I don't mind large or small transactions, but I currently prefer trades with 10 to 20 cards going each way or at least that the cards carry more value than the postage. I usually ship the same or the next business day. Just remember that Canada Post doesn't pick up or deliver on Saturday and Sunday.

International shipping is very easy, but it costs more for BOTH traders (not just from the U.S.). Here are some tips to save on shipping costs to Canada: use PWEs (Plain White Envelopes) and avoid bubble envelopes, plastic boxes and big stacks of cards. Ship as flat as you can (cut 9 pocket pages in 3 rows and insert 4-5 cards in each pocket). The more it looks like a greeting card or documents mailed in a regular letter instead of a package, the more it tends to be cheaper to ship. Current U.S. to Canada first class postage rate (up to 2 oz) is $1.40 and if non-machinable, $1.79. If you don't have Global Forever stamps handy, three regular Forever stamps work as well. There's also no need to pay $14.85 for shipping with international tracking, because it is just too expensive, it will be way slower to arrive and Canada Post won't track your postal item anyway. Overall, postal service tends to be slower in Canada and at times a bit harder to predict, but it is as reliable as in the U. S.. Lastly, no cross-border shipping by Fedex or UPS: they charge $40.00+ custom brokerage on each and every package they handle no matter if it is duty free or not.

A.S.

Dec. 15, 2023 - This past year was an extremely difficult one for me. I logged in just a couple of weeks ago, after a 5 month haitus from life. I'm more or less just trying to catch up on my wantlists and figuring out where I last left off. I think it will be quite a while until I'm back to my old self. If you're interested in a bubble envelope sized trade, please send me a PM. - Happy holidays, Eric

First off, I am no longer accepting PWE trades and will ship only via bubble mailer or, for extremely large trades, USPS flat rate box. I apologize if this makes trading a bit more difficult for you. I have had too many issues with damaged cards via PWE in the past and am tired of it.

Secondly, I would like to finish these sets as most of them have been languishing for some time (obviously not the newer sets). The '98 Showcase Row 0 will be the hardest to finish off as the 5 remaining cards I need are #'d to 250. I am still working on my Arkansas Born Players Collection and my Chicago Cubs Collection

I prefer the set fills first over the personal collections for now, but will consider the personal collections as I do not have any, basketball or racing sets I am working on at the moment and I know I haven't made the sets a focus in the time I have been on here to this point. I also realize that not everyone does just baseball or any other sport either, hence why I will consider the personal collection stuff. I may end up working on '20 Topps A&G Minis at some point.

Not currently trading.

Condition is important to me. I do not want any modern cards that are not at least NRMT/MT for modern cards. For me this means back to 1980.

Love old video games such as Atari, NES and more

Hoping to get back on track this year. I want to finish some organization, complete some sets, and then sell them off and downsize my collection. I don't mind lopsided trades (giving up more than I receive), so don't be shy to ask for more from me.

Thank you for reading.

I collect: NBA, NHL, NASCAR, Star Wars, History, Military, DC Comics, Olympics, whatever interests me

Current project is trying to get at least one card of everyone to ever get one for NBA, NHL and NASCAR. Also working on getting at least one example of every set ever for the above sports. (Wantlists on Cardboard History)

I have some health problems that make it challenging for me to get to my trade stash. It makes me a slow trader as there are some days when I'm simply in too much pain to access the boxes. My health problems are not transferable so you do not need to fear catching anything from trading with me. I generally only can mail on Saturdays.

Trading:

I prefer to trade 1 card for 1 card. I do not care about any made up "book value". I will gladly trade more than one card for some as well...there are a few cards on my tradelist that I do need more than one card for in return though. I only put sets on my wantlist that are close to completion, so if you have something else in any of the three sports or the Non-Sports topics I focus on, odds are I will want it. Only reason I wouldn't is if I had it already.  If you don't have anything from the topics I mainly collect, but I have something you want, I will also accept football or baseball in trade, pretty much anything to get a trade done. I would prefer not to trade with smokers. I have breathing problems and cards that come from smokers are essentially useless to me, I cannot handle them. I prefer larger trades but will do any size at all.

I have tried to make sure all the cards on my Tradelist are problem free, with no corner dings, scratches or other flaws, but I am human and it's possible I may have missed something, but all cards sent out are cards you shouldn't need to worry about ever finding a replacement for. I don't demand problem free cards in return as my theory is that a damaged card is better than no card, but writing and paper loss means to me that I don't actually have that card so please don't offer them to me in trade.

If you don't care about condition, take a look through my "Damaged Cards" collection. These are all cards that I rejected from my tradelist for having flaws but they are available for trade. I would put them at one third a card "value" so 3 damaged cards vs. 1 of your cards. If you do want any of them, let me know and I will move them to my tradelist. I don't want to put them all there and cause matches for people expecting good cards and getting damaged cards in return. Some of the flaws are pretty big problems, some you will probably wonder why I didn't list it in my tradelist. While my collection doesn't demand perfection, I am very strict with condition on cards I send out in trade.

Trading Prioroties: (what makes me the happiest to get in trade, in no particular order)

  • 1995-96 and 1996-97 NBA Cards
  • 1994 NASCAR Cards
  • Any NASCAR card that actually focuses on the car
  • Automotive Non-Sport cards
  • New York Rangers
  • New York Knicks
  • New Jersey Nets (and Brooklyn and New York Nets, but the NJ era is my favorite
  • Elton Brand
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr.
  • Henrik Lundqvist
  • History related Non-Sports cards
  • Attractive women (with or without clothes)
  • Anything from Racing Champions I don't have
  • Team logo cards for NBA and NHL
  • Non-sports subjects in Allen & Ginter
  • People with last names starting with Q, U, Z and especially X.
  • With that said, I will trade for anything at any time, whether it's on my wantlist or not. I prefer "quantity" to "quality" and I'm a set builder at heart.

There are also a couple of specific sets I'm really hoping to complete some day:

  • 1996-97 Ultra (NBA), my favorite set ever
  • 1988 Leesley Bigfoot (the set that got me started collecting)
  • 2002-03 Topps Chrome Refractors (NBA) Refractors are my favorite parallel and this is the closest one to completion
  • 1994 Action Packed (NASCAR) tied for my favorite NASCAR set
  • 1989-90 Marine Midland New York Rangers (just need the cover card!)
  • 1993 & 1994 Skybox The Simpsons (One base card away from completion, also chasing inserts)
  • 1954 Topps Scoop (my favorite Non-Sport set ever)
  • 1953-54 Topps World on Wheels (my favorite automotive set ever)

I love trading, but I'll sell or buy, too.  Whatever transaction makes sense!  I've enjoyed making trades with so many people on TCDB.

I care about the condition of cards I am acquiring for my collection.  I'm trying to mark all my vintage cards with the correct condition so you'll have a good idea of what you are getting.

  • For 1960-1975 cards, I prefer ExMt or NrMt.
  • For 50s era cards, I prefer ExMt or NrMt, but will consider VgEx or Ex.
  • After 1975, the cards should be NrMt or better - no signs of wear.

I'll buy lesser condition collections if you are interested in selling your vintage collection.

Any card on my For Sale/Trade list is for sale!  If you see something you want, I'd be just as happy to sell it as trade it.

Here's what I'm collecting these days:

  • 1970s era Fleer/Lauglin cards
  • 1970-71 Topps Basketball
  • 1971-72 Topps Basketball
  • Vintage Cardinals cards
  • 2002-2005 Topps Heritage
  • 2014 - current Stadium Club
  • 2009-2011 Topps Heritage All-Star cards
  • Cardinals Heritage Short Prints
  • Topps 35th Anniversary Cards (inserts in base Topps packs)

I sell a few things on BuySportsCards.com and eBay, but would just as soon sell directly to you.

Trading for ONLY cards I need.  I will consider misprints and others not listed here.   Nebraska Cornhusker Football players.    Will buy if the price is right.

Not trading/selling any of my PC cards.

Selling cheap:   you name the cards and a fair price. I'm easy to work with.   I like getting cards to people for their PC.

Like a lot of us here I have a lot of cards not listed.   Will try to list more players when asked to.

All sets that are listed here are for sale/trade.

Mainly doing PWE.

I'm Primarily a Set collector: Baseball, Football, Non-Sport, Vintage. Prefer Pre-1980 Vintage. I also collect my local DC Area and Some Maryland teams.

I am OK with receiving PWEs, However, I normally do not send out PWEs myself. I like having my packages tracked and prefer to send in bubble mailers. So only sometimes will I send a PW (and hope the recipient tells me when the card(s) arrives).

I live in the USA and ship ONLY to the USA. Sorry I will not trade with any other countries due to shipping costs and no tracking  Even shipping to just Canada is expensive. The last package I shipped to Canada was over $20 and I think it was a medium bubble mailer that shipping within the US would have bonly $5.

My Hobby PET PEEVES: Use of regular scotch tape on any surface that can come in contact with the cards even toploaders and cardsavesrs and Card"Savers" in general.

Glad to be back trading again after almost a year away!!

Smaller trades are preferable at the moment (1-15 cards). I will be willing to do trades of a larger size but I may need pointers on how to ship them as I haven't done any deals of that size yet. Trades 15 cards or under will be shipped in PWE unless otherwise agreed upon. Above that will most likely be bubble mailer or bigger. Only trading in Canada and the United Sates at the moment. Also willing to sell anywhere in the world. Paypal and E transfer accepted

Football: Steelers, Hamilton Tiger-Cats and anything on my want list

Hockey: Blackhawks and anything on my want list

Any cards of Indigenous sports players not in my collection whether on my wantlist or not (Will almost always work a deal out if this is included)

Anything else that is on my want list

If you have something from one of my listed pcs that is not in my collection I will be intetested for sure

Transactions back ON!!

My schedule got an unexpected break, so turning trades back on for now. I'm going to have to be very careful with how many I can commit to, knowing I could be right back behind the 8-ball with work and home. So, I might be turning them off and back on days apart, just to manage the flow to what I know I can handle.

On another note, recently moved locations at work, and the commuting schedule now makes it tougher to process trades during the week. Will still try to get them out as quickly as possible and catch up on the weekend as needed. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding. Cheers!

Baseball: Roger Clemens; Donnie Moore; Chad Bettis; Cincinnati Reds (1966-2020)

Basketball: Charles Barkley; Craig Ehlo

Football: Pittsburgh Steelers (1971-2020)

Hockey: Colorado Avalanche

I collect predominantly Packers, Brewers, and former UW Badgers.  I am trading with people in the United States only due to postage costs.  Condition matters to me especially for 1981 to date.  Please do not send me severely yellowed, badly off-center, corner and edge damaged or creased and dog-eared cards from the modern era unless you have notified me as such ahead of time.  For 1980 and earlier I am not as concerned but would appreciate a heads up.  Not accepting trade offers at this time.

Please let me know if you feel I've made an uneven offer. Book values don't always define what a card is worth to me. I don't mind unbalanced trades in your favour, within reason.

If you don't have anything on my wantlist, try me anyway. Trading by PWE unless otherwise agreed upon.

Hockey:

Roberto Alomar has been pushed to the bottom of my priority list, given the news of sexual misconduct.

trying Something new with trading to try and manage my time better. I will have trades turned off from Sometime Sunday night to sometime on Thursday. Then I will open up trading for the weekend. I will pull cards Sunday night and send them out Monday mornings, (Tuesday when needed due to Holidays.)

I was out of collecting for almost 20 years, I think 2001 was my last full year collecting. Started to get back into it in 2021 because my two oldest boys are developing a passion for it and it rekindled mine.

I am a pastor, just moved to NE Nebraska and have  with 8 young kids. Needless to say, buying/purchasing just isn't in the budget for the foreseeable future.

PCs of Mike Schmidt, Jose Cruz JR (#5), Dan Wilson (#3 on TCDB as of 8/23), Pat Kelly (#1)

Passive PCs of Casey Candaele, Andy Benes in Mariners uniform, Any surname of Creel, (John Creel #1) & (Keith Creel #4) and will hold on to any Bo Jackson, Julio Rodriguez & most Shohei Otahnis I pull from packs.

I am a set builder at heart, with a soft preference for Topps Base Sets and Early (through 93) Upper Deck. I have or am working on 1984-2002 Topps & 1989-1996 Upper Deck, plus others...

One Son is a set builder and the other collects Father/Son, Brother/Brother, etc MLB duos

Special Project: All Baseball cards with the1965 Topps design (2014 Heritage, 2021 redux, reprints, Archives, etc…)

Biggest priorities: PCs, (nothing will get me to jump at a trade quicker than a Mike Schmidt or a Pat Kelly (playing career '91-99) that I dont already have!)  & my '65 Topps design Special Project... then the rest of the sets collecting. Newest and Heritage, then 90's then 80s in that order...

Lowest Priorities: '89 and '91 Upper Deck, '89 and '92 Fleer, '88, '92, '92 Donruss

Sets where I dont care about the variants (building a set with one card per number, regardless of DOTS or border patterns or print codes): '88 Donruss, '90 Donruss, '92 Fleer, '92 Leaf, 92 Donruss, 91 Upper Deck

Sets where I DO care about the Variants (trying to build a master set): '89 Donruss, '91 Donruss, '91 Topps (except blacklight VARs), '94 Topps and '92 Topps Gold Winners and PC's
Basically, feel free to ask because there are some I dont care about the VARs.

Lastly, I love finding opportunities for PIFS and adding extras into agreed upon trades. My motto is, You cant out give God and the more cards I get rid of, the more I can sort and list and I also know how I have been blessed  by the generosity of others.

• Working on low to mid grade 1970 through 1972 complete Topps baseball sets, but I'll take any condition just to complete these sets. I'm focusing on these right now and I hope to trade as much for these as I can. I will buy if the price is right. I'm over halfway on 1970-1972 with HOF and High #'s remaining.

• Detroit Tigers Topps Team Sets, including SP (Complete 1958 to present)

• Detroit Lions Topps and Donruss post 2015 Team Sets, including SP (Complete 1956 to present)

• West Michigan Whitecaps Team Sets (Complete 1994 to present)

• Topps Flagship Baseball Sets 1970 to present (Complete 1973 to present)

• Topps Flagship Football Sets (Complete 1981-1992)

• Topps Traded/Update Sets (Complete 1974 to present)

• Topps Pro Debut Sets (Complete 2010 to present)

• MLB Mascots

• Any other local teams of interest - Grand Rapids Griffins, Muskegon Lumberjacks, Grand Rapids Rampage, Traverse City Beach Bums, Traverse City Pit Spitters, etc.

I've been very blessed in my trades and transactions here on TCDB. Thank you to all. I will trade vintage for modern and vice versa as long as there is roughly equal value felt on both sides. I am a set builder and collecter. I do not speculate on my cards for future value. I do this for fun, not for profit. I will sell, but only to build a small bank of money to use for buying cards I can't trade for. I've traded hundreds of cards each way and I've done many 1 for 1 trades, so no trade is too big or small for me.

In packaging, I use painter's tape ONLY. I try to use a photo mailer for small trades of about a dozen or less.  I use #10 PWE for trades up to about 2 dozen cards and maybe 2 PWE for 4 dozen.  After 50 cards, I typically will use a bubble mailer with tracking.  If it is 200 or more cards, they will likely be in a box well padded.

5 cards incoming is a minimum for trades, please! (Unless it's a higher-value card)

I am prioritizing my collecting on Nebraska Cornhuskers currently, so any trades for those former players are preferred.

I care about VARs/variations/parallels. If it's documented that way on TCDb, that's the one I'm looking for! Please take a little time to confirm your cards being offered are correctly documented. Easy traps that everyone falls into are 1990s ProCards/CMC cardbacks and football hobby base versus retail base.

Check out the results of the Ukraine trip here!

Declining trade offers with no message is of little use to the person initiating the trade, show some effort to those putting together trade offers and take a few seconds to note why the trade doesn't work in its current state. A few moments to communicate can lead to a deal getting done!

On the flip side, please stop sending me 1-4 card trades showing that you didn't read/ignored my top message in bold, respect for time goes both ways!

KC Royals and Nebraska Cornhuskers Team Collector, and Alex Gordon/Jermaine Dye Super Collector. TCDb enthusiast!

I am a player collector...collecting Robin Yount and Ersan Ilyasova

I like to trade!!  I mainly prefer PWE trades but am set up for larger trades too.  I have a scale at home and the wife works at the post office, so I rarely need to go there.  I like to get my trade list into the hands of members that could use them.  If this means that I give a lot more than I receive, this is fine with me.  You get the cards you need; I get the space back in my area.  I am open to buying and selling, but mainly, I am a trader.  I have mostly gone through and updated for the correct variations in my trade listing.  I also have a spreadsheet that I have documented my Glow vs Non-Glow backed '91 Topps.  Let me help you fill your collecting needs.

My primary collection is something regional, I really want to collect the old Brewer Police cards, they were issued for each community throughout Wisconsin.  But I have been especially looking for the Robin Yount cards.  I think there are over 785 different police sets issued between 1982 and 1993, with over 865 different cards that I am very interested in (He has two cards in the 1993 sets).  Currently, I have 311 different Yount cards.  It's actually been fun, but I have a long way to go.  Any of the other Brewers cards that I have would be available if you are interested but let me check on the condition.  Since I am getting a lot of them through thrift stores, eBay and rummage sales, some are pretty ragged.  I also have Packers Police cards that would potentially be available too.

A fun project that I have started is gathering information on Robin's 3,142 hits.  I have been putting a collection together of him and the pitchers that he hit off of.  This means that I am on the hunt for many, many copies of Robin's Topps cards, one copy for every hit within that year.  But also, many AL pitchers.  I plan to match up the pitcher's card with Robin's card and add a little write up of the at bat and the game.  I'm such a nerd.  UPDATE - Still need over half of Robin's Topps cards.  But I have done very well in regard to his pitchers.  I only need 3 and 2 others to have upgraded!!  Big thanks to everyone that has helped!!

I personally have a very small collection and wants.  When I find something for myself,  I like to try to give a little extra as a big thanks for finding me something special.  Thank you to all that has helped!!

Lover of all things baseball and avid card collect and trader.

First and foremost a baseball vintage set collector (1980 and earlier) with my daughter, but we also enjoying opening packs together so secondarily a current baseball set collector as well.

Happy to trade baseball for baseball, and trying to trade all non-baseball cards to make room for more baseball.

For the most part, when trading baseball for baseball, we would like to trade like for like: vintage for vintage, current for current, SPs for SPs, etc.

Dot-vars: We are listing variations accurately for trade, but not collecting different variations.  Adding all variations to our want-list to "cast a wide net" but only collecting one variation of each card.

Since I've been asked where our username came from... my daughter picked it for our geocaching name years ago and wanted to carry it over here.  Pretty simple.

Happy to post pictures of cards for trade for any trading partners that need.

***Constantly updating our want/trade lists so please check back for trades.

Cincinnati Reds Team Set Collector - 1909 (T206) to current Base, Inserts, and Traded sets, Food Issues, SGAs, and various Odd Ball Reds cards

I LOVE TO TRADE!  Big, small, any years--I am not too picky as long as both sides are happy. Will also SELL and buy. Typcially do PWE trades of 30 cards or less but am usually up for just about anything. Happy to review what Reds you have on your trade list if you are not seeing something on my Wantlist.

****Hebron Reds Fan is also becoming a Hebron FC Cincinnati Fan!  So feel free to offer up FC Cincinnati soccer cards for trades!******

2024 Goals (as of Jan 1, 2024)

  • Keep growing my Cincinnati Reds collection (currently #3 on TCDB with 16,341 unique Reds cards).
  • Collect as many Nick Castellanos 2021 Topps (#365) and Topps Chrome (#205) parallels and variations as possible.  If you have one I don't have--I want it!
  • Complete my 1400th trade on TCDB (currently at 1169).
  • Get my For Sale/Trade list to under 7000 cards (currently at 8043).  I would actually love to be under 6000 cards--but I always seem to fail miserably at this goal.
  • Perform more random acts of kindness (send some cards someone's way to help them out or celebrate a birthday or just because!)
  • Keep having fun collecting!  This is not my retirement nest egg.  It is not my job.  Just here to enjoy a hobby, celebrate my Redlegs, and feed my OCD tendencies.

Trading/Selling all non-Cincinnait Reds cards.

I am very open to trade proposals and also happy to SELL.  I also buy cards from time to time if you have Reds I need.  I welcome counter offers for trades that I initiate--so please feel free to review my lists and come back with an offer that works for both of us.  My sincere wish is that every trade is a win-win for all.  Let's help each other out and have fun!

Let's make some trades!  Go Redlegs!

Hut Stricklin and Tom Peck racing cards and memorabilia; Hooters Girl/Playmate Lynne Austin cards; and Magic the Gathering Vizzerdrix cards, especially in foreign languages.

A Note regarding my FS/FT list: most of myBaseball  "junk era" sets were initially entered prior to the various new variations added since mid-2020, such as Inc/Inc., */**, etc. The system places everything under variation "A" by default, and though I've tried to update everything there are probably a couple of set I've not sorted yet; just ask if want me to check a specific card or set. I have revised my FS/FT list for 1991 Topps; the listed versions are correct for that set, and the cards showing a grade (usually NRMNT) are those with normal backs. The glow-back cards are those listed without grades.

Regarding trades in general, I'm happy to ship and receive by whatever method you prefer from PWE to insured with tracking so long as it makes sense from both ends. Also, I know I have substantially more on my FS/FT list than my Wantlist, but I'm open to other offers if I have something you need. Everything on my FS/FT list is just waiting to be turned into something I collect and I don't mind if it takes multiple steps to reach that end. Here's my general preference for trades:

1. Obviously, anything on my Wantlist;

2. Anything on your FS/FT list that matches the Wantlist of another member who has someting on my Wantlist (which is any Hut Stricklin, Tom Peck, Lynne Austin, or Vizzerdrix card, even if they don't show up; I don't always remember to add things back to the Wantlist after I get them in a trade, but I'm always looking for dupes);

3. Other Racing cards that have at least as many people looking for them than there are listed as FS/FT;

4. Baseball cards that have at least as many people looking for them than there are listed as FS/FT;

5. All other cards that have at least as many people looking for them than there are listed as FS/FT; and

6. I'll consider anything else; coins, cds, dvds, books, memorabilia, fossils, whatever--make me an offer.

Let's make a deal.

    • Any other pre-1970 graded football
      • Any condition, preferrably PSA; primarily looking for cheap, low-grade commons

Any cards that I have that do not meet the above criteria will be removed from my collection. As of right now, I only sell on COMC (and I don't see that changing). I just don't have the time with my lifestyle (working 40-50 hours a week, plus coaching three baseball teams) to pull, package, and mail trades, or even mail my own sales. I do enjoy sending PIFs and typically check wantlists here before sending a box to COMC for consignment. If I'm looking for something specific and notice you have it FS/T, I may reach out to try and make an offer. I don't expect to receive any proposals, and would rather send someone a few cards from their wantlist and get nothing in return than try to hash out a deal.

I do have cards listed FS/T; they are available via COMC, listed in my "COMC" collection, and can be accessed by following the External Sales Link on those cards. I don't have them in my possession, so I can't do a trade with you. However, I want to see these cards go to people who really want them. If you see something you like, send me a message on here and let me know - the price will come down, and I'll even take a bit of a loss to get you cards for your collection. I keep my prices more in line with what is currently offered on COMC, but I'll certainly be wiling to negotiate, especially with a TCDB member, as these are typically higher than what these cards are truly worth, in my opinion.

My collection is one that sparks joy to me. I have no rhythm or reason to it, each card brought joy to me and so it was added to the collection. My want list is cards that spark joy for me. My Want List is being re added to and will grow greatly over the next few weeks/months.

This hobby is my saving grace! I found it as a way to help my anxiety and the friendships I have made in this hobby are amazing! I truly appreciate everyone in this hobby!

I look forward to doing lots of trades here and getting these cards in your mailbox and collection where they belong!

One of my binder projects is a Topps Twins project and am mainly needing the vintage now, I am happy to add cards with character aka poor condition for the vintage cards. This project is to tell the story of the decades and what better way than to have character to the cards. That's for the vintage, I don't want 1990s cards that are rounded edges and ripped up.

My collection is valued at how much I'm smiling at the end of the day :)

My favourites to collect are the big 4 US sports, that's becoming increasingly expensive so I'm always happy to find some boxes and packs from the overproduced era which may be more my price range.

Being UK based, Soccer and Cricket are easier to find but, and lets be honest, I'll collect anything really if it means I can open some packs!

Proud dad and husband!!! Family and work first, then cards, art, other hobbies.

Almost all cards in my main collection are for trade or for sale, even if they are not in my traders!

*Sorry to my international friends, but I am only trading within the US due to a few recent incidents with USPS.*

Trades should be good for both parties - whether that’s value matching or just that each party is happy with the trade. eBay comps are good for non-commons, but for cards readily available on SportLots, I usually use that for comps (both for selling and for buying).

Trimming down my collection to focus on my main PC players:

  • Greg Maddux
  • Ronald Acuna Jr.
  • Josh Norris
  • Cole Caufield
  • Kemp Alderman
  • Noble Meyer
  • Eury Perez
  • Max Meyer

Also interested in A&G mini sets and Pokemon. Marvel and Batman wants are just to complete the sets. I love these sets but they rank low on my “wants” priority.

Trades of 3-18 cards are ideal - saves on shipping for both of us since 18 cards can usually go PWE protected with card stock/thin cardboard for less than $2.

I will pull cards before sending to make sure condition is good. I will message you about any issues I notice to confirm if you still want the card.

*** trades  CLOSED at  this time**

Will listen to small sale offers if I have something you need a lot.*******

Cardinals Baseball any year any brand

Some Vintage Topps Baseball Set Building (in any condition).....

Also doing 9 page project of John Riggins (Football/Redskins), see want list, can use dupes of some.

Memphis Grizzlies basketball added to want list past few years

I have NOT separated my traders into dot and no dot variations (or letter variations).  If this matters to you, I do not mind checking for a particular one for your want list...

I do expect nm or better condition on 81-present cards (unless agreed upon lower condition in messages)  On vintage, I collect any condition except on upgrade lists.

If you do want to trade vintage, please be clear on what your condition requirements are....many of my extra vintage are in lower conditions..

Oddball/Food Issue/Magazine/insert cards- Typically these have a much smaller print run/population than regular set cards like topps, fleer, upper deck etc.    When trading for these, I like to get similar for similar.  I will likely not accept a trade offer of oddball card for regular issue set cards.

Completed 2812+ trades with 641 different traders (in multiple groups) since 2005

Have lots of wants on my web page, not on this database

Everything in dupes collection is available for trade even if not in trade/sales list

I can only ship on weekends ....

Some of you may be frustrated that I turn off trades, but here is why:

I am in multiple trading groups, and simply do not have time to do more than 1 or 2 trades at a time

I am open to offers if you want to buy although my primary focus is trading.

Barry Larkin primarily, also a set collector (mostly Allen & Ginter, both original 1800s and the modern Topps sets)

LEGO  (Don't have anything I'm looking for?  I'll happily trade baseball cards for LEGO stuff)!

I have my own baseball card collecting Discord server (see my profile for an invite link)!  I host contests, giveaways, and plenty of group breaks over on my Discord!  I also run my own baseball card group break page over on Facebook though most of the action has moved over to the Discord to keep things all in one place.

Finally, I am willing to sell cards from my For Trade lists but I now require a potential buyer to include their price in their initial request.

Shipping only to USA and Canada currently.  Trades involving 9 or fewer cards will be shipped via PWE (cards in a row of a 9-pocket page) unless other arrangements are made prior to the completion of the trade.

I'm willing to sell if you don't have anything to offer in return that I need.  I'm also willing to buy if I don't have anything to offer in return to you!  Shoot me a message.

I currently have trading turned off, but if you see something in my sale/trade list that you'd like please feel free to message me and maybe we can work something out.

Please leave feedback after a successful trade and I will do the same for you. THANKS!

  • When offering a trade please try to offer similar cards in your proposal. Base for base, insert for insert etc. I have been getting a lot of trade offers from members that fill their side of the trade with quite a few insert cards and just offer me mostly base in return. I have done trades like this in the past but am now declining such trades. Please keep this in mind when proposing a trade. THANKS!!
  • Also note that most low end card trades will be mailed out in a PWE (plain white envelope). If you'd like a bubble mailer please let me know as postage may be more depending on the destination.
  • I will consider cards that are not on my Want List (Hockey - preference given to Toronto Maple Leaf cards) so feel free to add those (Hockey cards) if you are looking for a trade but don't have much for cards that are on my Want List. I can always use them in future trades to other members.

Currently collecting: Johnny Bower, Allan Bester, Mike Palmateer, Felix Potvin, Ed Belfour (Leafs), Curtis Joseph and Frederik Andersen, Jack Campbell, Joseph Woll, Tiger Williams, Wendel Clark, Tie Domi, Wade Belak, Colton Orr and any other Toronto Maple Leaf "tough guy/Enforcer". Trading preference will be given to members offering these player cards over those who are offering others on my want list. Also trying to collect Toronto Maple Leaf team sets from "ANY YEAR".

Also interested in "any Leaf vintage" hockey cards and Toronto Maple Leaf goalie cards pre 1989 and older.

Added some Marvel, DC (comics) and Kiss (band) cards to my want list. I am still adding these to my want list so if you don't see them when offering a trade, then I'll more than likely still like them for my PC. Also interested in some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cards for my step-son will be adding those to my want list soon.

Looking forward to some trades :)

I have added Carey Price to cards I'd like to collect. These would be for my grandson who is 13 years old and he's a HUGE Price fan. Just looking for inexpensive cards as him being so young you know how kids treat cards. He also plays hockey as a goalie. Feel free to hit me up for some trades as I did add some base (among others) to my want list for him. I will continue to collect cards for him and gift them to him over the years as well.

As much as I'd like to do this full-time, this is still a hobby, and I'm at that age where life really gets in the way.  Due to a mid-day work schedule and a recurring back injury, trading will be off more than on, but if you have a query about a potential deal, I'll try to get back to you and see if we can find some common ground.

I pretty much collect Hockey, and Basketball and non sport. I do have a large collection of over 250 000 cards that i am trying to get into the system here but as you are aware it takes a while to get them in. If you dont see anything in my collection just ask as i might have. I am looking to complete sets. I love trading as it keeps thewife off my ass about spending money on this but if i don't have a trade that you need but have cards i want please send me a price and i would be willing to look at it.

My Parkhurst, Tim Hortons, McDonalsds, Fleer (skybox, Flair) Pro Set, Donruss, Panini, OPC, Pinnacle, Topps Ultimate, in the game, Pacific,Leaf, Bowman and Classic and finally upper deck  and Score complete,  I also have a love for Star trek and would look at any deal on those cards. Now my hockey is done, i am going to add my 100 000 baseball and then my basketball. Please don't send me Deals on baseball, or basket ball as of yet until i get my collections in, i have many boxes to add, the ones in this system were what i had in binders.

Also my vinatage cards have been with me for years, if you very concerned over the condition of them please ask for my email and provide me with yours so i can send pics, my cards are in great shape for being with me over the years, no tears or folds but i would be happy to show you condidtion if your that serouis collector who wants mint.

thanking for looking and i hope we can make a trade.

I am a person with a fast turn around, in most cases if we have a deal today, the cards will be sent tomorrow. I expect the same from you as well. I also check to make sure we are trading dollar for dollar. I dont do card for card unless they are same value or enough cards make up the value. Please don't send one or two card trades, lets make the biggest deal possible, or least the deal should be more then postage, and please make sure you put the transaction number on the envelope or somewhere inside the package, so many people don't and if your like me who have many deals going at once it makes it very hard to figare out what deal it is with out the number.

Also i have been trading for a while now, and the 2 biggest problems i have is the amount of tape people use to wrap the cards, please try to use as little as possible, and second please put the trading id on something in the package. I have any where from 5 to 20 deals happing at all times, its sucks when you have to go through deal by deal to find the transaction. It would be so much easier if the transaction id was printed on something inside, thank you. (Also your name and trading name would be a bonus as well)

Wow just hit over 100 trade deals, crazy time flies when your having fun! looking forward to hitting the 200 or 250 deal. Will have to do somethign special for the 250th Deal!.

Trading: A minimum of 12 cards going each way unless there is a true gem / vintage in the trade. PWE acceptable but prefer large trades of 250+ cards in each direction. Please confirm that you actually have the cards before Accepting a trade; I always do the same at this end. Vintage for vintage; HoF/stars for same; inserts / parallels for same, all as much as possible. Priority are vintage, OPC and sets on my UserLists. Having tried to offer cards from these lists will increase the chances of my Accepting a trade; totally disregarding these and offering me 12+ commons from a set that I am so far from completing that they do not make the list is more prone to being Declined, especially if I see you have cards for trade that are on my lists.

------------------------------

Stats: As of 31 December 2023:

Wants OPC Baseball: base sets 1965-1994 + 1981 Grey Backs and 1990 white stock test issue parallel - 295/13,896 cards (2.12%).

Wants Topps Baseball: base sets 1951-2022 + 1952 Black backs, 1954 Canadian, 1975 mini parallel, 1993 & 1994 Gold parallel - 2,348/49,189 (4.77%). Breakdown by decade: 1951-60 - 1,087/3,816 (28.49%); 1961-70 - 854/6,135 (13.92%); 1971-80 - 313/7,721 (4.05%); 1981-90 - Complete; 1991-2000 - 31/7,856 (0.39%); 2001-10 -  61/6,986 (0.87%); 2011-20 - 2/6,841 (0.03%); 2021-23 - Complete.

Trading/PIF/Purchases on TCDb:

2023 - 195 + 5 still In-Progress; Cards Sent - 11,877 / Cards Received - 9,527

Total since being a member: Cards Sent - 84,113 / Cards Received - 73,209 (# of trades really doesn't matter to me as it can be misleading to the quantity of cards have come and gone).

Sets completed through Trades/PIF/Purchases in 2023 - 85 sets; 170 sets since Dec 2021 when I started tracking this.

---------------------------------

2024 Goals:

1. Reduce my OPC Base set needs to 250 (presently 295);

2. Reduce my Topps Base set needs to 2100 (presently 2348); by decade - to 1960, 1000 (1087); 1961-1970, 750 (854); 1971-1980, 250 (313);

3. Complete all 3 years of Donruss Triple Play (1992-1994) including inserts. Presently missing 45 cards, all inserts and the 1992 & 1993 Promos.

4. Complete all Leaf Studio Base sets (currently missing 30 cards - 1995 (12), 1997 (6), & 1998 (12)).

5. Complete 80 sets / insert sets.

6. Complete all of the Topps Glossy All Star, Rookies, & Send-Ins sets from 1983 to 1991. By year: 1983 Complete; 1984 AS Insert Complete; Send-In (4); 1985 Complete; 1986 Complete; 1987 Complete; 1988 Complete; 1989 AS Insert Complete; Send-In (22); Rookies (3)1990 AS Insert Complete; Send-In (3); Rookies Complete; 1991 AS Insert (10); Rookies (24). Total missing - 66.

ARMY DOMINATES MY TIME.  IF YOU NEED A QUICK TURNAROUND, DO NOT PROPOSE/ACCEPT TRADES WITH ME. A WEEK AT THE LEAST.

Cleveland Browns, Mets, Topps Base football with a focus on 74-15.

Any Mets or browns that aren't in my "collection" are wants. There are just too many to simply add all missing cards to wantlist.

Would like to focus on Topps football; 74 currently.  Condition not necessarily a priority on older cards, just no holes, missing paper, wicked creases, rounded corners...

I may not have the VAR that is listed in my FST. I added a lot of my cards prior to all the VARs being identified.

Please understand, my FST cards are "trading cards". They are stored in monster boxes, moved back and forth plenty, to fill trade requests. they older they get, the more "character" they show. I will let you know if a card has major flaws. I am in no way shaming collectors who prefer minty cards, but I will never consider any of my cards mint. If mint or as close to mint as possible are the level of card you are searching for, please pass me by. I do not want to waste either of our time and put you in a position where you aren't satisfied.

I am a "maximize postage" guy.  Please keep requests to a 9-card minimum. Exceptions may be made for special cards. Thank you for understanding.

Loser serving  1. This is on Starsfans page.

Shaggy69    for collecting PiF cards because he made other members believe he was hurt in a car accident.

I  am so glad that Starsfans lives in my house to know what is going on. This is the reason I don't trust Cops. What good would it be for me to lie about being in a car wreck? This is how dumb he is. I am glad he is not a cop anymore because he could find his ass with a flash light and a road map. He is pissed off over and email that was not seen. All over 59 cards he wanted. What a child. Grow up

1/12/23

How do I say this for all the stupid people on here that are to into their feelings. I was sent a messages about trades. I didn't see that message and they got butt hurt about it. Then put me on their no trade list.  If you didn't read that past 4 month post then that is your bad.  I am still recovering from the rotator cuff tear that I have. So If you going to be a child about a message that was not seen. Then go take a leap off a building and save room in the world for better people. I don't have time for grown ass men to be children. For the people out there who don't know who I'm talking about it's Starsfan. Who now say I am on drugs because I didn't see his message he sent. What a grade A retired looser he is.

10/5/23

I just want to say to the people that have PIF me in the past couple of weeks and the people who have been send get well wishes. THANK YOU!!!! It means a lot to me.  I am working hard to get better. It's going to take some time to get back from 4 discs in my neck and lower back to heal. I am not sitting back letting it stop me from doing the hobby I love to do. So, thank you all for understanding and giving me the time to get you your cards.

9/11/23

Trades are open for a minute. I was in a bad card wreck 3 weeks ago and now I am trying to get some trades for people who ask if I am coming back soon.  And it's alot of people ask me. So please be understanding I have a back and neck injury that slows me down right now.  I am trying to help others out that is why I opened back you trading to see If I can do it.  In the past you all got your cards shipped out within the next day or two of me taking the trade.  It might take me a little longer to ship out with having so many Dr. appointments. but you will get your cards I dont have a perfect rating on here for people not getting their cards. I have done 1300 plus trades. an you can look at my feedback you will get your cards I just need some time. If you are ok with that then lets trade. Thank you for understanding.

11/4/22

FOR THE LAST TIME I AM GOING TO SAY THIS. I DO NOT BUY CARDS ON HERE AND I WILL NOT DO BIG TRADES. I HAVE A SET LIMIT OF CARDS I WILL TRADE AND THAT IS THAT.

I will try this one more time. I will only do trades that are 20 Cards or less. If the trade is more then that I will decline the trade offer. I have lost to many card to big trades. An my no trade list is still in play.  If you keep asking for more then 20 cards at one time. You will be put on that list no question Asked.

I finally made the list this year. The Biggest Trade of The Year Tenlbpain and Shaggy69 4,247 Cards. Hell Yes!!!!!

Not buy cards for any reason if I need them or not.

COLLECTING

  • Sets: 1954-1968, 1977, 1997-2023 Topps Baseball sets, including updates. Here is my Topps Set Completion Status List
  • Teams: Baltimore Orioles, Washington Capitals, Baltimore Ravens, and a few Baltimore Colts.
  • Players: Cal Ripken Jr., Jim Palmer, Alexander Ovechkin, Dale Hunter, and Olaf Kolzig.

TRADING

Overview

  • Trades only. I don't buy or sell cards on the TCDB.
  • U.S. TRADES ONLY. Shipping outside of the U.S. is expensive.
  • I have 51,200+ different cards listed for trade (I don't list multiples). Fair, base-for-base, trades are welcome, especially in bulk. As a set collector, there are a lot of base cards on my want list. Having a large number of base cards on my want list makes it difficult to line up one-for-one trades for requested inserts, stickers, or non-base cards, especially in bulk. If you're asking for inserts or non-base cards, please offer cards that are similar.
  • Let's communicate to make sure both parties have all cards available and in acceptable condition BEFORE either of us commits to hitting the "Accept" button. It's a mess trying to fix errors for damaged or missing cards after accepting.
  • I'd like to stay within the same decade for vintage trades: 50s for 50s, 60s for 60s, and 70s for 70s. For 80s and later cards, it's not as important. Also, I'm OK with trading across sports or for non-sport if you are.
  • I love to trade, but if I have more than 10 transactions going at once, I will momentarily turn off my incoming trade proposals to let the queue clear before turning it back on. I thank you for your patience and understanding.
  • If you are a team or player collector and we have a large trade going, please take into consideration that it will take me a longer amount of time to pull your cards spread out over many different boxes and locations, especially if variations are involved, as opposed to pulling cards all from the same set located in one box.

Condition and Variations

  • For trades involving pre-1980s cards, expect to exchange images of cards to verify condition. Everyone's standard is different on what is acceptable condition. Exchanging photos solves this issue so both of us can determine if the condition of the cards being exchanged is preferred.
  • For 50s-70s vintage cards coming my way, I'd prefer cards without tears, heavy scuffs, surface damage, writing, heavy creases breaking the surface, severely rounded corners, holes, wax stains, or part(s) of the card missing. Everything later than 1980 I'd expect to be near-mint or mint condition. Again, I'm open to exchanging images of cards to verify condition, especially for vintage cards.
  • If offering cards with dark borders such as 2001, 2002, 2003, or 2007 Topps cards, please ensure that they do not have surface damage from bricking (snow) or edge chipping. Thank you.
  • I make every effort to select the correct variations. If you are a variation collector, please ask and I will verify that the variations are correct. For me, the only sets that I'm concerned about receiving the correct variations for are the 1981 Fleer and the 1991 Topps sets that I'm trying to complete master sets of.

Trade Sizes and Shipping

  • The bigger, the better! I'm trying to complete sets while helping you to complete yours, so large fair trades are welcome! My biggest single trade so far has been 3,509 cards: 2024 TCDB Site Award: Largest Trade. We can top that, right?
  • For Plain White Envelope (PWE), I prefer to trade more than 15 cards to make it worth the postage unless the cards involved are of higher value or vintage cards.
  • 15 to 24 Cards: PWE, unless you prefer otherwise.
  • 25 to 48 Cards: Two PWEs (because getting TWO envelopes full of cards in the mailbox is better than getting only one!).
  • 49+ Cards: Team bags in a plastic bubble mailer, or a 200ct to 500ct card box. All larger trades will have a USPS tracking number sent to you in a transaction message.
  • Work pending, I try to mail out as soon as possible. When work is crushing my soul, I will let you know my mailing is delayed. Apologies in advance.

Thank you for reading my profile and stopping by!

HAPPY COLLECTING!

Looking to buy cheap lesser quality vintage baseball and football lots.

I'm a collector, NOT an investor, and I deal solely on that premise.

I have my valuations and ANYTHING vintage (i.e. up through 1979) is considered more highly than anything newer.

I have tons of Wants from the overproduced late 1980s to early 1990s and I am looking to trade within that era for those, but I will go cross-sport, and will try to match HOFers, Stars, or Commons as much as possible in a card-for-card trade.

Mostly I'm a "You got gaps; I got gaps; together no gaps" type trader, BUT because I have plenty of oddball wants, I do not trade those for base cards (or even inserts in most cases). For example, I have plenty of Kellogg's cards, but I prefer trading them for other Kellogg's cards (or other food issued cards) from similar eras.

I ACCEPT lower conditioned creased and worn cards, but I wish to be told about them. The only flaws that I'll decline would be significant paper loss on fronts, markings or doodles that are excessive, or severely cut/torn cards. In those cases I'd still like to see scans to determine if they're acceptable. (I do NOT expect your condition requirements to be like mine.)

I vow to send securely and economically with VARs confirmed and condition issues noted or explained:

  1. At least 18 cards going each way in a PWE.
  2. Trades involving up to 90 cards will be mailed in medium to large business envelopes without tracking.
  3. Larger trades will be sent in most economical way possible (obviously with tracking).

Focusing on These for Now (And the only ones which I'll consider in trades smaller than the 18 minimum from above):

  • BASEBALL
    1. 1975, 1978, & 1980 Topps
    2. 1989 & 1991 Donruss Grand Slammers (master sets)
    3. 2001 Upper Deck Decade 1970s and Upper Deck Vintage (base and related inserts)
    4. Any Topps Heritage New Age Performers
    5. Any food issued sets
  • FOOTBALL
    1. 1966 Philadelphia
    2. 1968 Topps
    3. 1987 Topps
    4. 1994 Ted Williams Roger Staubach's NFL (base and related inserts)
    5. 2009 Philadelphia
  • HOCKEY
    1. 1971-72 & 1978-79 Topps
    2. 1987-88 & 1988-89 Topps
    3. 1989-90, 1990-91, 1991-92 Kraft sets
    4. 2001-02 Topps - 1971-72 Heritage
    5. Any food issued sets

Any and all car racing related cards (no motorcycles, boats, or monster trucks).  Always willing to trade for cards not in my collection, even if they are not on my want list.

Primarily here for trading, not buying/selling.  Probably will not sell unless you have some offer that I can't refuse (and really unlikely to sell anything out of my personal collection).

Generally not willing to trade cards from my personal collection with the exception of some parallel, autographs, and relics, as long as they meet the following criteria-

1.) Are not part of a complete (or near complete) set

2.) Are not a Kulwicki

3.) I have another card in that same parallel/autograph/relic set.  If I don't have another card from that same set, I may still be willing to trade, but the trade would have to include a card from that specific set.

I will trade football for baseball

when working i am away from home for 2 weeks I will accept trade offers during this time but I will not be able to agree or ship until i can get home to pull and pack the cards. First come first response on the trade offers

I will be home Dec 26-31 then head back to work for 2 more weeks. My next home time home will be January 16-21. While i am away from work my mail even bills gets put aside until i get home so i will not be able to mark the packages received or leave feedback until i return home.  In order to make things as fair as i can i mark all packages received then work on new trades then i go through the packages and leave feedback.

During the week of December 26-31 i may not get to all of the trades for i am having family down that week for Christmas and i am supposed to have me 5th Grandchild arrive.  Not including my wife mother-in-law and youngest daughter at home i am also expecting 18 other family members to be at the house so i will try to get everything done on that Tuesday before they arrive. Please keep that in mind while sending me offers now to the end of the year.

Not collecting anymore. Getting rid of all my cards.

If my trading is turned back on, it's only to list what someone wants to get from me, not for trades.

It's been fun, but there comes a time for all good things to come to an end. This is my time.

My football cards are or should be 100% correct, I would like to move as many as I can out of the 90,000 I have for trade. Also, my girls are collecting Pokémon cards and have asked if I can trade for cards they dont have, any help would be great. They do have a ton of duplicates that are not listed on the site because they like to trade with friends at school. All their trade cards are in great shape, not game played.

UPDATE:  trading open - see below

We are currently two months into our journey of being vagabonds while waiting for our new home to be built. My collection is in storage but I’m having trading withdrawals. I bought some 2024 Topps and I put them into my for trade list. I am opening trading but the only cards I can offer are 2024 Topps. If you are interested, please feel free to offer me any Twins cards from any years, but I can only trade 2024 Topps to you. Thanks!

**I recently added all my extra Twins cards, 1961-1980, to my trade list.  These cards range from very nice to very poor condition.  If you are interested in trading for any of these cards, I will describe them as best I can before I accept a transaction proposal, and I'll be happy to text or email you a picture of the card(s) you are requesting.**

After 8 years on the site, I finally decided to expand my profile.  As my user name suggests, I am a collector of all things Minnesota Twins, and Kirby Puckett is the top player I collect.  Whenever I pick up a Twins card, the hunt is on to complete that Twins team set.  I currently have well over 4,000 Twins team sets, cataloged in 50 binders, while several hundred more team sets are a work in progress.  It is a great feeling finishing off a team set, finding that last card that sometimes took years to locate.

A note about trading:  Even though they may show up on my wantlist (I try to delete them whenever I see them), I am generally not interested in all the variations (dot or not dot, one or two asterisks, Copyright D or E, etc.), unless they are Puckett cards.

I am currently ranked #1 in TCDB for Twins cards.. My top ten Twins cards are (with current TCDB ranking):

  • 1.  Kirby Puckett (4th)
  • 2.  Joe Mauer (4th)
  • 3.  Torii Hunter (3rd)
  • 4.  Harmon Killebrew (2nd)
  • 5.  Justiin Morneau (5th)
  • 6.  Byron Buxton (1st)
  • 7.  Chuck Knoblauch (2nd)
  • 8.  Rod Carew (3rd)
  • 9.  Miguel Sano (1st)
  • 10.  Kent Hrbek (3rd)
  • 34.  Tony Oliva (1st)  I added Tony because he was my favorite player growing up.   What a thrill it was to see him go into the HOF!  I see him every year at spring training.  What a great gentleman and ambassador for the game!
  • I also dabble in Vikings cards, but now that they have disappointed me again, I'll probably ease off but feel free to offer me any Vikings cards I don't have.

Priority of my want lists:
1 - Any and all Phillies cards (almost anything not in my collection is a "want")
2 - Various set ventures (baseball - 1972 Topps, 2016 Topps Chrome, Archives, Heritage sets, then hockey sets)
3 - Baseball HOFers (1980s)
4 - Baseball HOFers (1970s)
5 - Baseball HOFers (1990s)
6 - Baseball HOFers (other decades)

If there are any other categories of want lists, they would fall between set completion and HOFers.

I added approx. 90,000 cards available for trade in early 2023.

[The next section has been updated on 3/4/2024]

Note: Currently transactions are ON.

While I have transaction requests turned on, trade proposals will be handled in the order in which they are received. I am continuing to take it slow because I don't have the time or patience to take on too many trades at once. Additionally, I have found that it makes it easier on both sides because the cards are known to be available. And please, when we do trade, please make it so that the postage to/from your location to mine makes a trade worthwhile for both of us. Thank you.

Please also note that I am very much open to selling in addition to trading. If you see stuff you want and don't have anything in return, that's okay. We'll work out a deal that will be fair for both of us, not just me (and not just you, please). (The listings over at the SwamiLee account are in my possession and I am also selling those. The only sport left there is baseball.)

Thanks for reading my profile. I enjoy trading cards I don't need for those that I do. I've been in this hobby for many years (I remember opening 1955 Bowman packs at our local candy store)! I usually don't pull my end before making a proposal; most times, I'm trying to get a feel for how doable it is, and it saves me from having to refile cards if things fizzle out or if I'm countered.  I will, however, (usually) pull before accepting a trade.  Please counter, if need be!  Communication is key to good trading!   I have some physical limitations..it may take me a bit to pull cards so your patience is appreciated!

1.  My top priority is completing sets.

2.  Recent Phillies teamsets and inserts.  I do multiple teamsets to help local Philthies Phans!

3. Older Phillies teamset needs..all brands.

As mentioned, I love to trade, will reluctantly sell ... cheap, if we cannot swap!  PLMK what I have that you can't live without!  Phillies is my team, through thick and (mostly) thin!  PWE trades are great and assumed unless we agree otherwise - bubbles used if worth the shipping costs!  Slowing down though - the old body won't let me hoss those 5000 count boxes too much - thanks in advance for your patience with me!!

March 2024 - I am extremely busy at work right now and have next to no time for card related items. Happy to look at trade offers when I can but the hobby is not a top priority for me right now.

January 2024 - Over 1400 trades completed and I've owned/traded/moved over a million cards since joining the site 6+ years ago. That being said, the current state of trading on this site is atrocious. Several years back, the traders were all great to deal with but this has changed dramatically in the last few years and there's truly on a handful of traders which I feel any level of comfort dealing with. Trade offers go ignored, are countered with ridiculous offers and petty issues seem to be common anymore. I left out everyone seems to treat their cards like million dollar prized possessions. I started a No Trade list but it seemed like every few days I was adding someone to it, not worth it guys and gals. I'm finding that I can buy cards I want either from Sportlots or eBay with so much less hassle. And cheap too.

All that said, when my current stash of postage runs out, I'm turning off trading and not sure if I will be returning. Was a fun ride while it lasted.

November 2023 - Trade Values - I am back to using Beckett to look at card values for trade equality.

Willing to trade to Canada again. I am though not accepting any responsibility for any losses, etc. once I drop my envelope in the mailbox. Trader beware!

October 2023 - Nothing against any of my Canadian traders but I am no longer trading to Canada due to issues with Canada Post and the USPS destroying envelopes causing loss of cards, cards needing to be resent, issues with postage, etc. It's too much folks.

To pull, package and ship cards, only to have one of the postal systems destroy the package makes it a fruitless endeavor. It's a waste of both time and money.

Sadly, Canadian trades make up most of my trades so this is probably the beginning of the end of my trading days.  I will probably beginning selling off most of my collection starting in 2024. It's been a fun ride but thats the way I'm heading right now.

****1990-91 Upper Deck Hockey VAR's on my For Sale/Trade list - Highly unlikely that I have any of the oddball VAR's. These cards were entered mainly as placeholders meaning I do have one version of a given card but probably not the version you need. If time permits, I may be open to checking VAR versions but it's not something that I enjoy doing nor high on my list of things to do. ****

September 2023 - Continuing to focus on collecting one card of anyone who is the four Hall of Fame's. I'm over 90% complete on Baseball and Football. Basketball is lagging far behind. Haven't updated Hockey but I should be in good shape there as well.

Supplies:

For anyone close to Denver, I have a large amount of trading supplies that need to find a new home. I have BCW card houses, 5000 and 3200 count boxes and a host of smaller boxes (800, 660, 550, 400, 300, 200 and 100). The latter is a mixture of used and new Collect-Save-Protect or BCW brand.

Disclaimer on PWE trades

I'm hearing of, and personally experiencing, more and more issues with PWE trades. Mainly postal machines destroying/bending envelopes or envelopes arriving and the cards being missing. I have not seen issues like this in my prior 1100+ PWE trades. That being said, I will continue to send 25 cards or less PWE but once the envelope is dropped in the mailbox, I'm no longer responsible for damage/issues after that point. I'm not sending replacement cards or funds if there's damage once the USPS has my/your envelope or your cards are lost in the mail.

I'm very close to no longer writing "Non-Machinable" on my PWE envelopes. This doesn't seem like a makes a difference to the USPS and the financial costs for doing this quickly add up.

I hate to take a hard stance on this but short of stopping trading (or doing larger, bubble envelope trades), I have no other options. I'm spending too much time and money on postage to send replacement cards, when the issue arises, to make trading worth it.

Happy to do larger trades (30+ cards) in bubble envelopes.

What I'm collecting for:

1)I'm primarily an Upper Deck flagship hockey collector. I'm working on completing a few remaining base sets and then chasing Young Guns and insert cards.

2)I'm also collecting RC's (when possible) of all NBA/NHL/NFL/MLB players who have been inducted into their respective Hall of Fames. Also collecting non-players cards as well if they are in the HOF. Basically if the person is in the Hall of Fame for their sport, I'm hunting their RC or if it's a non-player, some type of card for them.

3)Finally, I'm collecting Baseball/Hockey and to a lesser extent, Football sets, of the 1970's/1980's.

Card condition:

If your cards look like they have been manhandled, I'm not interested in them for my collection. No creases, rounded corners or teeth marks.

Buying cards:

I've had several folks approach me about buying cards..I will rarely be interested in buying from someone and, odds are, I will reach out to you first..

Trade size:

Make it worth our time..

PWE packaging:

I am no longer using cardboard protection in my PWE trades. Historically, I've done 100's of trades with cards just in 9 pocket pages and then placed in envelopes and have had zero issues. After some issues I have seen lately with including cardboard in my PWE trades, I'm no longer spending the extra money, and time, just to have cardboard protection in an envelope.

Postage:

Please make sure you have proper postage on whatever you are sending me. Seems to be half the envelopes I get are short on postage. Minimal postage on a PWE envelope is $1.03.

Canada trades:

Has between 9 and 25 cards or less. I can't afford to send big trades unless there's additional cards/value to compensate. Trades less than 9 or so cards don't make a lot of sense either from a cost standpoint.
