I trade cards to build baseball, hockey and some miscellaneous sports / non-sport sets. I also PC Felipe Alou, Derek Aucoin, Steve Begin, Jennifer Botterill, Kevin Dineen, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Bob Kudelski, Manon Rheaume and P.J. Stock as well. I do not buy cards. I also have a sweet spot for oddball / food issue / regional sets. New cards are regularly added to my FT/S list and all the cards I list here are NRMT or EX unless specified and I expect the same of you.

I don't collect micro-variations (dots, stars, copyright marks, holograms, printing plate codes...), they're not fun to search and I dislike the incessant frequency with which new ones are added. Seriously, what's the point if you gotta need to use a magnifier glass to check out if there's a dot on the back of a 1991 Fleer? However, I do all my best to check all my cards and to keep my lists up to date, but please ask me first, if micro-variations matter to you. The site really needs some way of opting out of micro-variations (just a default / any var. / unverified option for each card).

Besides helping to complete our collections one step closer each time, the opportunity would be nice to have traded with all the states, provinces and territories of North America. On this site only, I traded with members in 46 states, D.C., 9 provinces, N.W.T. and overseas. I can't wait to have a trade in Alaska, Delaware, North Dakota, Wyoming, Manitoba, Nunavut and Yukon. However, if you don't live in the above jurisdictions, you're still more than welcome to trade with me. No trade to Russia, Belarus and Iran.

I'm an easy going, helpful and patient guy, but here's now my turn to announce that my NO TRADE LIST is growing due to an increased lack of civility on the forums and the full site. If (1) you nitpick and/or always have an opinion on anything and/or act like you own the site and you're not Admin or (2) you do not respond to counters or decline without expressing a reason or don't PM me to ask more time after several days of wait or (3) you send me ridiculous off-balanced offers or (4) you accept the trade and you can't mail your cards in a timely manner or you send me loose or severly damaged cards or (5) have a brand new (empty) account without info / feedback and ask for valuable cards or (6) you clearly didn't read my profile (ask first, at least) and ask me to buy your cards, then chances are that you just won a place on my NO TRADE LIST regardless of how much I may want what you have.

I am fine with shipping cards in single or multiple PWEs, if the cards are properly packaged. Also, I don't mind large or small transactions, but I currently prefer trades with 10 to 20 cards going each way or at least that the cards carry more value than the postage. I usually ship the same or the next business day. Just remember that Canada Post doesn't pick up or deliver on Saturday and Sunday.

International shipping is very easy, but it costs more for BOTH traders (not just from the U.S.). Here are some tips to save on shipping costs to Canada: use PWEs (Plain White Envelopes) and avoid bubble envelopes, plastic boxes and big stacks of cards. Ship as flat as you can (cut 9 pocket pages in 3 rows and insert 4-5 cards in each pocket). The more it looks like a greeting card or documents mailed in a regular letter instead of a package, the more it tends to be cheaper to ship. Current U.S. to Canada first class postage rate (up to 2 oz) is $1.40 and if non-machinable, $1.79. If you don't have Global Forever stamps handy, three regular Forever stamps work as well. There's also no need to pay $14.85 for shipping with international tracking, because it is just too expensive, it will be way slower to arrive and Canada Post won't track your postal item anyway. Overall, postal service tends to be slower in Canada and at times a bit harder to predict, but it is as reliable as in the U. S.. Lastly, no cross-border shipping by Fedex or UPS: they charge $40.00+ custom brokerage on each and every package they handle no matter if it is duty free or not.

I collect: NBA, NHL, NASCAR, Star Wars, History, Military, DC Comics, Olympics, whatever interests me

Current project is trying to get at least one card of everyone to ever get one for NBA, NHL and NASCAR. Also working on getting at least one example of every set ever for the above sports. (Wantlists on Cardboard History)

I have some health problems that make it challenging for me to get to my trade stash. It makes me a slow trader as there are some days when I'm simply in too much pain to access the boxes. My health problems are not transferable so you do not need to fear catching anything from trading with me. I generally only can mail on Saturdays.

Trading:

I prefer to trade 1 card for 1 card. I do not care about any made up "book value". I will gladly trade more than one card for some as well...there are a few cards on my tradelist that I do need more than one card for in return though. I only put sets on my wantlist that are close to completion, so if you have something else in any of the three sports or the Non-Sports topics I focus on, odds are I will want it. Only reason I wouldn't is if I had it already.  If you don't have anything from the topics I mainly collect, but I have something you want, I will also accept football or baseball in trade, pretty much anything to get a trade done. I would prefer not to trade with smokers. I have breathing problems and cards that come from smokers are essentially useless to me, I cannot handle them. I prefer larger trades but will do any size at all.

I have tried to make sure all the cards on my Tradelist are problem free, with no corner dings, scratches or other flaws, but I am human and it's possible I may have missed something, but all cards sent out are cards you shouldn't need to worry about ever finding a replacement for. I don't demand problem free cards in return as my theory is that a damaged card is better than no card, but writing and paper loss means to me that I don't actually have that card so please don't offer them to me in trade.

If you don't care about condition, take a look through my "Damaged Cards" collection. These are all cards that I rejected from my tradelist for having flaws but they are available for trade. I would put them at one third a card "value" so 3 damaged cards vs. 1 of your cards. If you do want any of them, let me know and I will move them to my tradelist. I don't want to put them all there and cause matches for people expecting good cards and getting damaged cards in return. Some of the flaws are pretty big problems, some you will probably wonder why I didn't list it in my tradelist. While my collection doesn't demand perfection, I am very strict with condition on cards I send out in trade.

Trading Prioroties: (what makes me the happiest to get in trade, in no particular order)

  • 1995-96 and 1996-97 NBA Cards
  • 1994 NASCAR Cards
  • Any NASCAR card that actually focuses on the car
  • Automotive Non-Sport cards
  • New York Rangers
  • New York Knicks
  • New Jersey Nets (and Brooklyn and New York Nets, but the NJ era is my favorite
  • Elton Brand
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr.
  • Henrik Lundqvist
  • History related Non-Sports cards
  • Attractive women (with or without clothes)
  • Anything from Racing Champions I don't have
  • Team logo cards for NBA and NHL
  • Non-sports subjects in Allen & Ginter
  • People with last names starting with Q, U, Z and especially X.
  • With that said, I will trade for anything at any time, whether it's on my wantlist or not. I prefer "quantity" to "quality" and I'm a set builder at heart.

There are also a couple of specific sets I'm really hoping to complete some day:

  • 1996-97 Ultra (NBA), my favorite set ever
  • 1988 Leesley Bigfoot (the set that got me started collecting)
  • 2002-03 Topps Chrome Refractors (NBA) Refractors are my favorite parallel and this is the closest one to completion
  • 1994 Action Packed (NASCAR) tied for my favorite NASCAR set
  • 1989-90 Marine Midland New York Rangers (just need the cover card!)
  • 1993 & 1994 Skybox The Simpsons (One base card away from completion, also chasing inserts)
  • 1954 Topps Scoop (my favorite Non-Sport set ever)
  • 1953-54 Topps World on Wheels (my favorite automotive set ever)

I am relatively new to TCDB but have been part of the baseball card blogging community for well over a decade. I have over 100,000 cards to trade. Also if you collect matchbooks/matchcovers, stamps, or bottle caps (including MLB/NFL caps from the 60s) I have some of those to trade, especially the matchbooks which I also collect.

PLEASE NOTE: While my modern cards are almost all mint/near-mint, the condition of my vintage cards vary greatly. Some are in quite good shape for their age; many more are in good/fair/poor condition.

ALSO NOTE: For the time being I will usually only be mailing out all packages, including PWEs, once a week, on Saturdays.

For my TCDB wantlists, first priority is my vintage Topps setbuilds. Second priority is the modern cards that I have on there. Lowest priority is the 2017-present Topps setbuilds. For now, for TCDB, my primary focus is completing my 1973 Topps set. I do collect everything baseball, so even if you don't have cards that are on my TCDB wantlists, you will probably have plenty to trade that I would be interested in . . .

Transactions ON... for now. My schedule got an unexpected break, so turning trades back on for now. I'm going to have to be very careful with how many I can commit to, knowing I could be right back behind the 8-ball with work and home. So, I might be turning them off and back on days apart, just to manage the flow to what I know I can handle.

On another note, recently moved locations at work, and the commuting schedule now makes it tougher to process trades during the week. Will still try to get them out as quickly as possible and catch up on the weekend as needed. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding. Cheers!

Baseball: Roger Clemens; Donnie Moore; Chad Bettis; Cincinnati Reds (1966-2020)

Basketball: Charles Barkley; Craig Ehlo

Football: Pittsburgh Steelers (1971-2020)

trying Something new with trading to try and manage my time better. I will have trades turned off from Sometime Sunday night to sometime on Thursday. Then I will open up trading for the weekend. I will pull cards Sunday night and send them out Monday mornings, (Tuesday when needed due to Holidays.)

I was out of collecting for almost 20 years, I think 2001 was my last full year collecting. Started to get back into it in 2021 because my two oldest boys are developing a passion for it and it rekindled mine.

I am a pastor, just moved to NE Nebraska and have  with 8 young kids. Needless to say, buying/purchasing just isn't in the budget for the foreseeable future.

PCs of Mike Schmidt, Jose Cruz JR (#5), Dan Wilson (#3 on TCDB as of 8/23), Pat Kelly (#1)

Passive PCs of Casey Candaele, Andy Benes in Mariners uniform, Any surname of Creel, (John Creel #1) & (Keith Creel #4) and will hold on to any Bo Jackson, Julio Rodriguez & most Shohei Otahnis I pull from packs.

I am a set builder at heart, with a soft preference for Topps Base Sets and Early (through 93) Upper Deck. I have or am working on 1984-2002 Topps & 1989-1996 Upper Deck, plus others...

One Son is a set builder and the other collects Father/Son, Brother/Brother, etc MLB duos

Special Project: All Baseball cards with the1965 Topps design (2014 Heritage, 2021 redux, reprints, Archives, etc…)

Biggest priorities: PCs, (nothing will get me to jump at a trade quicker than a Mike Schmidt or a Pat Kelly (playing career '91-99) that I dont already have!)  & my '65 Topps design Special Project... then the rest of the sets collecting. Newest and Heritage, then 90's then 80s in that order...

Lastly, I love finding opportunities for PIFS and adding extras into agreed upon trades. My motto is, You cant out give God and the more cards I get rid of, the more I can sort and list and I also know how I have been blessed  by the generosity of others.

I’ve been collecting cards for over 47 years and have over 489,000 unique cards in my main collection, including some nice vintage stuff.  I collect older cards of the four major sports but lately I've been expanding to some more recent sets.  I'm primarily a Set Builder and I’m looking for other like-minded set builders to trade with.   I’ve accumulated tons of extra cards that I would like to trade away with almost 250,000 cards in my current For Trade list.  Big trades don't bother me. I have a huge Want List, so hopefully you have something I need.  Feel free to make me an offer.

For Canadian Traders: It's expensive for me to trade across the border.  Going forward I would like to limit cross border trades to two (2) PWEs. That's about 54 standard-size cards.  Thanks.

For Anyone Outside US/Canada: The increased postal rates have made it impossible for me to trade outside North America cheaply.  So going forward I will have to decline trades from outside US/Canada.  Sorry about that.

Update on Donruss/Leaf * Variations and Upper Deck Holo Variations:
I can't guaranty the junk wax era Donruss/Leaf cards and the UD holo variations are listed with the correct variation.  Going forward I will no longer check the variations on these cards.  If you want these cards regardless of the variations, feel free to request them in the trade.  Howver, If you want a specific variation of these cards, I'm no longer your guy - please don't put them in the trade request.  For all other cards that have variations, I will contniue to check and make sure you get the correct one.

Note on Vintage Cards:
I have over 6,000 vintage cards listed for trade (I consider vintage to be 1977 or earlier).  For each card I've noted a condition grade and if you check closer, a note on each regarding any condition issues (be sure to select the correct one if multiple cards are shown).  Please note that I'm by no means a professional grader and if you're hyper-sensitive on card condition, please message me first and I'd be happy talk about it.  In exchange for these cards I have three priorities:

  • 1) similar vintage cards that I need (any sport)
  • 2) inserts for my 90s sets that I need (any sport)
  • 3) or non-junk era base cards that i need as a last resort (any sport)

Note on Card ConditionA card noted as Pr, Fr, Gd, or GdVg will have some obvious condition issues such as creasing, corner wear, or marks.  I would consider them place holders in a collection at best (I've listed them because some people do want place holders).  A VG card will usually be a clean card with some corner wear or a centering issue.  For me, VG would be the bare minimum for my personal collection.  EX will be nice sharp card and VgEx will be something just between VG and Ex, still a nice card with a small issue that prevents it from being EX.  NM in vintage is a tough find.

I am one of the members that helps within the site.  I work closely with the IRs and can answer most questions.  Please send me a message if there is anything I can assist with.  If I don't know, I can certainly try to figure it out or direct you to a resource.

I am a player collector...collecting Robin Yount and Ersan Ilyasova

I am also negotiating trades for a member that I have been helping with the site.  These cards are all for John.  His profile name is Electric Burrito.  Derek Jeter, Pete Rose, Bo Jackson and a few others.

I like to trade!!  I mainly prefer PWE trades but am set up for larger trades too.  I have a scale at home and the wife works at the post office, so I rarely need to go there.  I like to get my trade list into the hands of members that could use them.  If this means that I give a lot more than I receive, this is fine with me.  You get the cards you need; I get the space back in my area.  I am open to buying and selling, but mainly, I am a trader.  I have mostly gone through and updated for the correct variations in my trade listing.  I also have a spreadsheet that I have documented my Glow vs Non-Glow backed '91 Topps.  Let me help you fill your collecting needs.

My primary collection is something regional, I really want to collect the old Brewer Police cards, they were issued for each community throughout Wisconsin.  But I have been especially looking for the Robin Yount cards.  I think there are over 775 different police sets issued between 1982 and 1993, with over 850 different cards that I am very interested in (He has two cards in the 1993 sets).  Currently, I have 296 different Yount cards.  It's actually been fun, but I have a long way to go.  Any of the other Brewers cards that I have would be available if you are interested but let me check on the condition.  Since I am getting a lot of them through thrift stores, eBay and rummage sales, some are pretty ragged.  I also have Packers Police cards that would potentially be available too.

A fun project that I have started is gathering information on Robin's 3,142 hits.  I have been putting a collection together of him and the pitchers that he hit off of.  This means that I am on the hunt for many, many copies of Robin's Topps cards, one copy for every hit within that year.  But also, many AL pitchers.  I plan to match up the pitcher's card with Robin's card and add a little write up of the at bat and the game.  I'm such a nerd.  UPDATE - Still need over half of Robin's Topps cards.  But I have done very well in regard to his pitchers.  I only need 10 and 3 others to have upgraded!!  Big thanks to everyone that has helped!!

I personally have a very small collection and wants.  When I find something for myself,  I like to try to give a little extra as a big thanks for finding me something special.  Thank you to all that has helped!!

I've been a baseball collector since the late 80's and love to trade.  I am primarily a set collector and belong to several online trading clubs.  My never ending goal is to collect all the regular issued Topps cards from 1952 to present.

My main collecting interests are vintage cards,  Minnesota Twins,  a few newer sets and Bert Blyleven.

Vintage sets:  1952 Topps, 1953 Topps, 1954 Bowman, 1954 Topps,  1955 Topps,  1956 Topps,  1957 Topps,  1963 Topps,  1967 Topps

Newer sets: 2004 Donruss,  2005 Donruss,  2012 Cooperstown, and 2020 Stadium Club.

* I prefer not to trade vintage cards (below 1976) for newer cards.

* Before delivering or accepting a proposal please make sure you have all of the cards.

      • Any condition, preferrably PSA; primarily looking for cheap, low-grade commons

Any cards that I have that do not meet the above criteria will be removed from my collection. As of right now, I only sell on COMC (and I don't see that changing). I just don't have the time with my lifestyle (working 40-50 hours a week, plus coaching three baseball teams) to pull, package, and mail trades, or even mail my own sales. I do enjoy sending PIFs and typically check wantlists here before sending a box to COMC for consignment. If I'm looking for something specific and notice you have it FS/T, I may reach out to try and make an offer. I don't expect to receive any proposals, and would rather send someone a few cards from their wantlist and get nothing in return than try to hash out a deal.

I do have cards listed FS/T; they are available via COMC, listed in my "COMC" collection, and can be accessed by following the External Sales Link on those cards. I don't have them in my possession, so I can't do a trade with you. However, I want to see these cards go to people who really want them. If you see something you like, send me a message on here and let me know - the price will come down, and I'll even take a bit of a loss to get you cards for your collection. I keep my prices more in line with what is currently offered on COMC, but I'll certainly be wiling to negotiate, especially with a TCDB member, as these are typically higher than what these cards are truly worth, in my opinion.

Baseball cards, newer cards and vintage ones. My primary collecting focus is David Fletcher, Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout, Rickey Henderson, Albert Pujols, anything Angels, and stars/HOF'ers. Logging my full collection on here will be in progress for a LONG time so everything you see in my collection now, isn't my full collection. I'm not a huge set collector, but I'm working on a few which are listed below.

Sets I'm working on

2009 Topps

2019 Topps Update

2021 Topps Opening day, 2022 Topps are complete!

FOR SALE/TRADE:

Cards on FS/T list are for trade only. If you are interested in buying cards, check out my eBay store below:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/**make-a-wish**/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=

There are MANY cards I want, so I'm not even going to bother making a full, detailed want list. For those interested in trading with me, I am interested in mostly Los Angeles Angels cards (especially the stars and HOF'ers), and of course stars and HOF'ers of different teams as well.

Trading: PWE shipping, will use multiple envelopes if needed.

My collection is one that sparks joy to me. I have no rhythm or reason to it, each card brought joy to me and so it was added to the collection. My want list is cards that spark joy for me. My Want List is being re added to and will grow greatly over the next few weeks/months.

This hobby is my saving grace! I found it as a way to help my anxiety and the friendships I have made in this hobby are amazing! I truly appreciate everyone in this hobby!

I look forward to doing lots of trades here and getting these cards in your mailbox and collection where they belong!

One of my binder projects is a Topps Twins project and am mainly needing the vintage now, I am happy to add cards with character aka poor condition for the vintage cards. This project is to tell the story of the decades and what better way than to have character to the cards. That's for the vintage, I don't want 1990s cards that are rounded edges and ripped up.

My collection is valued at how much I'm smiling at the end of the day :)

Yes, I am one of those fools trying to finish the VAR master sets from the late-80s/early-90s. If you see a mass want from that set I'd prefer to purchase a large lot/full set (even that means taking on dupes for myself) rather than trade for onsies and twosies (though funnily enough I have PC’s that fall into this boat).

Priority collection projects:

1) Finishing 80s and 90s baseball inserts moving into the new century

2) Vintage, all sports

3) Finishing off hockey sets and inserts

4) Finishing off football sets and inserts

5) Extensive PC lowest priority

I WILL buy. I will NOT buy if you insist on pandemic pricing.

***FOR PROPOSED TRADES***

1. I WILL trade to my friends up north; always have, always will.

2. I WILL NOT trade cards out of my collection, FS/T only. If it’s in my collection, it’s because I want to keep it to meet my goals (whether I get there or not is a different story 😊)

3. I’m continuously updating my FS/T list as I have several large lots I am sorting through and adding here.

4. The nature of my work means I can work odd hours at times. It may take me several days before I get to your request. I know this is usually an understood condition for traders on here, but I just want to put it out there now especially for those I have yet to trade with.

5. I take trades first-come, first-serve style so a requested card may already be accounted for in another trade. I put this one out there because I have times where I was balancing 5-10 trades and have run into this.

6. I’m always open to counteroffers so please be flexible yourself.

7. I’m open to anything from small PWE to large lots.

8. I will trade across sports (baseball for football, etc.) so a trade doesn't have to revolve around one sport or even numbers.

9. For trades up to 20-30 cards, I try to ship PWE. I have successfully used multiple PWE's for larger trades also. Bubble mailers will be used for more valuable cards.

I always look for equal value in trades. I do not use Beckett nor this site for price comparison. I use 3rd party sites to gage values as they can indicate more real-world sales/selling prices. With that said I will NOT do pandemic pricing. So much stuff out there is artificially inflated right now and I will not “overpay” for an item. I don’t have hard ratios as to what I will trade (1 HOF = 5 commons, etc.). I know what I paid and can research value; just want fair value in return. This also means I’m open to off-balance trades where one of us get more cards than the other. Again, it’s about making both sides happy.

For any vintage on my FS/T list I tried to be accurate as possible on condition. I can send pictures of any vintage upon request. I will trade for vintage, but I am a stickler for condition. I’m aiming for NM on my vintage sets. If you are going to send me anything from the modern era, I would expect NM or better. One would think that's a no-brainer, but you'd be surprised on how disappointed one can get...

***NON-TRADING MEMBERS***

I'll sell any cards on my for sale/trade list for a fair and reasonable price plus enough to cover shipping. I'm not in this to make a profit, but to help fellow collectors meet their goals. I am open to buying, but again, will not do pandemic pricing.

Hello!  I bought my first packs in 1973 and found a card of my favorite player Mickey Lolich.  I was hooked and started building sets each summer.  Took a few years off now and then but always found my way back.

PC baseball set builds I'm enjoying right now:

  • 1959 Topps  500/572   87%
  • 1960 Topps  402/572   70%
  • 1964 Topps  Giants  25/60   41%
  • 1965 Topps   160/598   26%
  • 1966 Topps   587/598   98%
  • 1970 Kellogg's  69/75   92%
  • 1971 Kellogg's  52/75   69%
  • 1972 Kellogg's  53/54   98%
  • 1972 Kellogg's ATG  12/15   80%
  • 1973 Topps Checklists   3/24   12%
  • 1971/72 Topps Hockey   131/132    99%
  • 1972/73 Topps Hockey   172/176    97%
  • Plus many more sets on my want list...

I love trading so please don't hesitate to initiate a transaction.  Not much of a seller, really prefer to trade.

Trading Guidelines:  1)  Looking for EX or better in 1967 and earlier, need NRMT or better in anything newer as these are likely upgrades.  2)  I'm open to trades of all size, from 1 card to 1,000+.  3)  The number of HOF/Superstars and key rookies should be fair, not looking to trade my HOFs for commons.  4)  I try to accurately identify variations but check with me if you seek a specific version of a card.  5)  Condition of cards:  1979 & newer are mostly NRMT, 1978 and earlier include childhood cards and vary in condition.  I am in the process of entering grades for all cards in these years.  Feel free to ask about specific cards.  I always pull cards before accepting a trade and will inform you of any condition exceptions.

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ I Welcome trades from my friends in Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

P.S., I still have the original Lolich card from the summer of '73 and that dupe is not for trade.

***If you are offering a trade and you see I need a '53 Topps card that you have, I am most likely not interested in trading for it, as I am collecting a graded set and just use the wantlist to keep track of what I still need.***

Chipper Jones, Derek Jeter, Tony Gwynn, Ozzie Smith, Kirby Puckett, Vlad Guerror (Sr.), Don Mattingly.

Players from Delaware including Mason Fluharty (my cousin), Zack Gelof, Jake Gelof, Delino DeShields, John Mabry, Chris Widger, Randy Bush, Chris Short, Ian Snell, Joey Wendle, and others. University of Delaware athletes in UD uniform. Tennessee Volunteer football players in UT uniform. Duke basketball players in Duke uniform.

Cards on my for sale/trade list typically consist of the following conditions (I will let you know if an individual card is in worse condition):

2020-2010 - Fresh out of the pack, typically NrMt

2000-2009 - Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt (may have a fuzzy corner or show a little bit of edge wear from being in a box, especially if the card has a dark colored border)

1988-1999 - Cards from when I was a kid. Some may have some fuzzy corners or edge wear from being in a box. If the wear/damage seems significant I will let you know once I pull them.

1981-1988 - Some may have some edge wear, fuzzy corners, may have a dinged corner. Others may be straight out of the pack. I will let you know if there are any serious issues.

1980 and older - I typically include the condition. Most of these cards are EX at best. Some are a lot worse. I can send photos if you are interested, just ask.

I don't typically pay attention to centering unless it is really bad. If the card is legitimately miscut and you can see another card on it then I just throw it out and it won't be listed here (with the exception of some vintage stuff).

I prefer to trade my non-baseball for baseball cards, as I'm trying to focus my collection and reduce the space it takes up.

I ship PWE unless it's too many cards to fit or there's a card of significant value.

NOTE AS OF JUNE 29:  I am opening back up for a few days, but I will be out of state in early July, and I may not accept your transaction proposals for a couple of weeks due to that fact.

*****

I am selling my mostly-Mets collection due to Parkinson's Disease. Every card price is negotiable, and fairly substantial discounts will apply. Make me an offer!

I prefer selling, but I will entertain good trade offers as well.  I reserve the right to occasionally reject offers that you make, just due to the exhaustion and ennui that accompany Parkinson's.  I am also open to offers for my whole collection, including some pretty interesting pieces of Mets memorabilia that there's no way to list on TCDb, for any of you out there who still have more money than good sense.

In fact, I am willing to give my entire collection away for virtually nothing, if you are willing to come and take it all away.

NOTE: If you order any 1990s-era cards, and you care how many asterisks or periods are shown on the back, let me know at the time of quote, and I will decide whether or not to check, mostly based on the size of your request.

All Minnesota teams including Twins, Timberwolves, Vikings, Wild and North Stars (Past NHL). Building 2019 Topps Heritage set. Thanks to the traders I have had transactions with I need less than 70 cards to go in the 725 card Base Set. I have also added the insert sets to my set build. They are in my Wantlist. My FSFT list is bigger than it used to be, but please know that I literally have thousands more that I have not listed yet. If you have something on my Wantlist, I may have something you are looking for as well. Matching sport to sport, or era to era, or value to value doesn't really matter to me. Very willing to trade for one card I need by sending multiple cards to a potential trader. PWE is preferred.

*** 10-14-23 TRADING IS OFF ***

I'm taking a break from trading to add a ton of cards to my For-Trade list. Getting close! Be back soon.

I'M COLLECTING

  • Baltimore Orioles, Washington Capitals, and Baltimore Ravens.
  • Topps Baseball Sets: Focused on completing sets 1954-1968, 1977, 1982, and 1997-2023.

TRADING

Overview

  • I love to trade, but if I have more than 10 trade transactions going at once, I will momentarily turn off my incoming trade proposals to let the trade queue clear out before turning it back on. I don't have the time between family and work to fulfill that many trades at once, especially large trades, and also enjoy this hobby. I thank you for your patience and understanding.
  • I have 32,600+ cards listed to trade (I don't list multiples). As a Topps set collector, fair bulk trades are welcome.
  • I prefer to trade with fellow team collectors and/or set builders to help out their sets. Common for common cards. As a team collector and set builder, there are way too many common cards on my want list making it difficult to line up a one-for-one trade for inserts, hall of famers, etc... in exchange for commons. Nothing against hall of famer, insert, or investment traders, but our interests don't line up easily to make fair one-for-one card trades.
  • I look at the red/green numbers as a contributor to "value". High red/low green numbers mean the card is in high demand. Low red/high green numbers mean the card can easily be obtained by traders on here. There are many cards on my for-trade list where I'm the only active trader offering them (cards typically asked for are the Fleer stickers, Drakes cards, and other inserts). Take the red/green numbers into account when proposing your trade. I could really care less what the price on here says or that those high red/low green numbered cards were abundant during the 80s. If they are hard to get on here, that means something.
  • I'd like to stay within the same decade for vintage trades, 50s for 50s, 60s for 60s, and 70s for 70s. For 80s and later cards, it's not as important. For example, I'd like to trade away my 1970s cards to complete my 1977 Topps set.
  • Let's communicate to make sure both parties have all of our cards available and in acceptable condition BEFORE either of us commits and hits the "Accept" button.

Grading, Condition, and Variations

  • All pre-1970s cards in my for-trade list have a grade assigned regardless of condition. Post-1970s cards will have a grade assigned only if there is something drastically wrong with the card (way off-center, fuzzy corners, crease, wax stain, spots, etc...). I'll report all flaws after pulling cards and before accepting an incoming proposal from you. I'm open to sharing photos of cards if requested. Photos are preferred for vintage trades. I grade based on the PSA standards located here: https://www.psacard.com/resources/gradingstandards.
  • For 50s-60s vintage cards coming my way, I'm OK with cards having slight wear. However, I'm not interested in cards with tears, heavy scuffs with surface damage, writing, heavy creases breaking the surface, severely rounded corners, holes, wax stains, or part(s) of the card missing. Everything later than 1980, I'd expect to be near mint or mint condition. Again, I'm open to exchanging images of cards to verify condition, especially for vintage cards.
  • I make every effort to select the correct card variations within the database. If you are a variation collector, please ask and I will double-check that the variations are correct for you. I wear reading glasses and can make mistakes on those "dot-no-dot" cards. For me, the only sets that I'm concerned about receiving the correct variations for are the 1981 Fleer and the 1991 Topps sets that I'm trying to complete master sets of.

Trade Sizes and Shipping

  • To make a trade worth the postage, I'd like to stick to trades of more than 15 cards going each way unless the cards involved are higher than common in value or vintage cards.
  • 24 Cards or Less: Plain White Envelope (PWE), unless you prefer otherwise.
  • 25 to 48 Cards: Two PWEs (because getting TWO envelopes full of cards in the mailbox is better than one!).
  • 48+ Cards: Team bags in a plastic bubble mailer, or a 200ct to 500ct card box. All larger trades will come with a USPS tracking number shared with you in a transaction message.
  • Work pending, I try to mail out as soon as possible. When work is crushing my soul, I will let you know mailing is delayed. Apologies in advance.
  • U.S. trades only, with the exception of PWEs to Canada. Shipping large trades outside of the U.S. is too expensive.

Thank you for reading my profile and stopping by!

HAPPY COLLECTING!

I'm a collector, NOT an investor, and I deal solely on that premise.

I have my valuations and ANYTHING vintage (i.e. up through 1979) is considered more highly than anything newer.

I have tons of Wants from the overproduced late 1980s to early 1990s and I am looking to trade within that era for those, but I will go cross-sport, and will try to match HOFers, Stars, or Commons as much as possible in a card-for-card trade.

Mostly I'm a "You got gaps; I got gaps; together no gaps" type trader, BUT because I have plenty of oddball wants, I do not trade those for base cards (or even inserts in most cases). For example, I have plenty of Kellogg's cards, but I prefer trading them for other Kellogg's cards (or other food issued cards) from similar eras.

I ACCEPT lower conditioned creased and worn cards, but I wish to be told about them. The only flaws that I'll decline would be significant paper loss on fronts, markings or doodles that are excessive, or severely cut/torn cards. In those cases I'd still like to see scans to determine if they're acceptable. (I do NOT expect your condition requirements to be like mine.)

I vow to send securely and economically with VARs confirmed and condition issues noted or explained:

  1. At least 18 cards going each way in a PWE.
  2. Trades involving up to 90 cards will be mailed in medium to large business envelopes without tracking.
  3. Larger trades will be sent in most economical way possible (obviously with tracking).

Focusing on These for Now (And the only ones which I'll consider in trades smaller than the 18 minimum from above):

  • BASEBALL
    1. 1975 & 1978 Topps
    2. 1989 & 1991 Donruss Grand Slammers (master sets)
    3. 2001 Upper Deck Decade 1970s (base and related inserts)
    4. Any Topps Heritage New Age Performers
    5. Any food issued sets
  • FOOTBALL
    1. 1966 Philadelphia
    2. 1968 Topps
    3. 1987 Topps
    4. 1994 Ted Williams Roger Staubach's NFL (base and related inserts)
    5. 2009 Philadelphia
  • HOCKEY
    1. 1971-72 & 1978-79 Topps
    2. 1987-88 Topps
    3. 1989-90, 1990-91, 1991-92 Kraft sets
    4. 2001-02 Topps - 1971-72 Heritage
    5. Any food issued sets

Hello

I might trade to Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦  and other countries but it would need to be something unique.

I usually never "Buy"

webull free stocks always fun  https://a.webull.com/3xbteTm5xpjvQo91sJ

Listing 1000's and 1000's of cards to trade. I also prefer trades be 5-15 cards so postage is better spent. There is exceptions ofc but  you know.. Posted (11-17-2022)

WhatsNot Promo Get $10 Bucks to buy cards here > https://whatnot.com/invite/junkcardmillionaire after your 1st purchase with whatsnot

I like and am listing Pokemon, Baseball, Basketball, Football, Hockey and others,

I also like comic cards, (All mine are missing) I like soceer, snowboarding, golf, racing surfing, and skateboarding cards.

Trades must be worth trading as postage, gas and time waiting at postage line adds up quick :)

I Send out Mail Now ONLY  once a week sometimes twice. But it's possible it may be two weeks depending on when it goes thru.

Also I don't always go by Values on here or ebay. Questions feel free to ask. : )

I will usually counter on trades sent. so prepare for real market values being sent back.

If it is on my trade list, it does not mean I need it. I don't make sets usually :) But it might be there from a former trade or a card I might take if it helps a resonable trade.

I expect cards from 1980 forward mint to near mint. corners sharp no print defects I also demand no creases and gum stains on the back. I won't send a card with gum stains or creases so I expect the same respect.

If your feedback is 0 or very low and the trade is high value you agree to send first.

I reserve the right only if needed to swap cards for other cards on a person's want list if a card cannot be located.

4 October 2023 Update

Prefer to sell at the moment, but am slowly rebuilding my wantlist. Main focus is the collection reorg. I'll be adding cards from my collection to FST as I go so watch for new items. 50% of sales go to Lahaina Restoration Foundation.

Favorites:

Baseball: Boston Red Sox, Dennis Eckersley, Carl Yastrzemski, Harmon Killebrew, Eddie Murray

Football: Brett Favre, Walter Payton, Danny White

Basketball: Boston Celtics & Larry Bird

Hockey: Boston Bruins

Other: AFL/VFL (Aussie Rules Football), NRL (National Rugby League (AU)), Texas Longhorns, Georgia Bulldogs

I enjoy buying large lots of random cards from estates, auctions, yard sales and digging through them to find my favorite players or just anything I don't already have. I'm open to trading/selling. Cards are in various conditions as some are from packs I bought vs. large boxes of randomness bought from various places across the country.

TRADING: Will process trade requests in the order they are received. FST cards are ExMt or better with a few vintage exceptions. Trades of all shapes and sizes are welcome. I'm not particular about condition except I have a 'no writing' rule. Seeing writing on a card reminds me of the horrors I inflicted upon my cards as a kid...lol.

VARIATIONS: I checked my sets when I initially entered them in 2021, but some of this years additions to 'variation hell' have not been double checked (EX. 1991 Fleer Baseball). If the VAR is important, please let me know and I will check my cards.

BUYING: Not currently buying.

SELLING: Currently selling from FST list. Working on moving some to collection items to FST.

DO NOT USE FEDEX to ship here. The local hub is notorious for losing, misdelivering, and flat out lying about packages.

NOTE: I will reply as soon as I can. Full-time job doesn't allow much spare time during the week (what's up with that?!?) Most trade processing will happen Fri-Mon as of August 2023

**I recently added all my extra Twins cards, 1961-1980, to my trade list.  These cards range from very nice to very poor condition.  If you are interested in trading for any of these cards, I will describe them as best I can before I accept a transaction proposal, and I'll be happy to text or email you a picture of the card(s) you are requesting.**

After 8 years on the site, I finally decided to expand my profile.  As my user name suggests, I am a collector of all things Minnesota Twins, and Kirby Puckett is the top player I collect.  Whenever I pick up a Twins card, the hunt is on to complete that Twins team set.  I currently have well over 4,000 Twins team sets, cataloged in 50 binders, while several hundred more team sets are a work in progress.  It is a great feeling finishing off a team set, finding that last card that sometimes took years to locate.

A note about trading:  Even though they may show up on my wantlist (I try to delete them whenever I see them), I am generally not interested in all the variations (dot or not dot, one or two asterisks, Copyright D or E, etc.), unless they are Puckett cards.

I am currently ranked #1 in TCDB for Twins cards.. My top ten Twins cards are (with current TCDB ranking):

  • 1.  Kirby Puckett (4th)
  • 2.  Joe Mauer (4th)
  • 3.  Torii Hunter (3rd)
  • 4.  Harmon Killebrew (2nd)
  • 5.  Justiin Morneau (5th)
  • 6.  Byron Buxton (1st)
  • 7.  Chuck Knoblauch (2nd)
  • 8.  Rod Carew (3rd)
  • 9.  Miguel Sano (1st)
  • 10.  Kent Hrbek (3rd)
  • 34.  Tony Oliva (1st)  I added Tony because he was my favorite player growing up.   What a thrill it was to see him go into the HOF!  I see him every year at spring training.  What a great gentleman and ambassador for the game!
  • I also dabble in Vikings cards, but now that they have disappointed me again, I'll probably ease off but feel free to offer me any Vikings cards I don't have.

Priority of my want lists:
1 - Any and all Phillies cards (almost anything not in my collection is a "want")
2 - Various set ventures (baseball - 1972 Topps, 2016 Topps Chrome, Archives, Heritage sets, then hockey sets)
3 - Baseball HOFers (1980s)
4 - Baseball HOFers (1970s)
5 - Baseball HOFers (1990s)
6 - Baseball HOFers (other decades)

If there are any other categories of want lists, they would fall between set completion and HOFers.

I added approx. 90,000 cards available for trade in early 2023.

[The next section has been updated on 10/25/2023]

Note: Currently transactions are OFF.

When I have transaction requests turned on, trade proposals will be handled in the order in which they are received. I am continuing to take it slow because I don't have the time or patience to take on too many trades at once. Additionally, I have found that it makes it easier on both sides because the cards are known to be available. And please, when we do trade, please make it so that the postage to/from your location to mine makes a trade worthwhile for both of us. Thank you.

Please also note that I am very much open to selling in addition to trading. If you see stuff you want and don't have anything in return, that's okay. We'll work out a deal that will be fair for both of us, not just me (and not just you, please). (The listings over at the SwamiLee account are in my possession and I am also selling those. The only sport left there is baseball.)

Before I accept any offers, I like to pull my cards to ensure I've really get them, they are the correct variations, their condition is ok, etc. So, it may take me a few days to respond. Please be patient.

I am really getting into NON-SPORTS cards in a big way. Superhero, movies, old TV shows...just about any and all subjects. Don't be shocked if I counteroffer any proposal to trade sports cards for non-sports. Trying to grow my non-sports collection while eliminating what little racing, hockey and basketball cards I have.

That being said, I am really looking at sports-for-non-sports offers in a more favorable light.

IF YOU HAVE NON-SPORT CARDS NOT ON WANTLIST...

- does not mean I don't want them, probably just haven't added every non-sport cart to the wantlist!! Let me know what you have and I'll let you know if I want to collect them.

My trading philosophy...

I use the values listed in the database, not as absolute truths but more as a set of scales to weigh each side of a transaction.

Still trying to get my collection organized. To be honest, I still don't know what I have, what I want to collect and what I want to get rid of. This site has given me the push I needed to organize things. I am trading but not everything (maybe 70%) is recorded. I plan on trying to focus on just baseball, football and non-sports going forward. And to be honest, right now I'm trying to focus on non-sport. I'll trade baseball and football for non-sports.

Collecting: I'm mostly a set builder, focusing on baseball, football and non-sports (movies and superhero type cards).

- Always had a soft spot for holograms.

- Prefer smaller sets to the mega series of earlier days. 900 card sets? Meh...

- Just got back into modern set building and I'm really liking Topps Allen & Ginter sets, although the gazillion subsets and variations is confusing/annoying.

- Really don't have true "favorite players" or teams. Gravitate towards Red Sox and Patriots but I don't fixate on them anymore.

- upgraded my Mac to a new MacMini and need to re-install scanner drivers, etc. Have some cards missing in the DB and I'll spend a day or two scanning once it's up.

Stole this from another profile..."Note: I always pull before accepting a trade so please give me time when you propose a trade."

Back to sorting cards and updating my collection online...
