I'm in remission with esophageal cancer, learning how to use my 'new plumbing' after an esophagectomy, several discectomies and spinal fusion surgery, new scars on my face from trying to make it look better by passing out and falling face first on a hardwood floor (didn't work, but cool scars!) and, worst of all, adjusting to life on my own since my collecting partner, best friend, and wife died (of course from f$#*&^g cancer)! So, this is really all I have left....LET'S TRADE!!!

If I have something on my ForSale/Trade list that you need and you have nothing to trade me, I am more than willing to sell most cards on my FS/T list at a very, very reasonable price...especially to fellow set collectors! If you're just looking to buy rookie cards cheap and then resell them....get lost!!

I collect for pleasure.  My collection focuses primarily on teams and players that have meaning to me and often carry a sense of nostalgia.  When I resumed collecting in 2017, after a 20 year hiatus, I assumed I could attempt to collect everything.  Big mistake.  As a result, my Want List is vast, but my true priorities are as follows:

• Former Michigan Wolverines.  Basically, anyone who played basketball or football at Michigan since the mid-80s.  Chris Webber and Charles Woodson are my #1a and #1b targets.
• Giannis Antetokounmpo and members of the 2020-21 Bucks title team
• Members of the 2010, 2013, and 2015 Blackhawks Stanley Cup teams
• Alabama Crimson Tide football players from 2005 to present
• 1990s basketball cards - hoping to complete sets from the Bulls dynasty years
• Garbage Pail Kids specifically of Pete (Peter, Petey, etc), Harper, and Owen

As far as trading, I try to keep it as simple as possible:

• Keep shipping costs to a minimum.  Big PWE fan.  Also a fan of the "cereal box" for larger trades.
• Try to make it cost-effective.  Trading two junk wax commons is not worth the cost of the stamp to me.
• Try to keep it "fair" (base-for-base, insert/parallel-for-insert/parallel)
• If your offer consists primarily of cards from the areas in which I am most interested, I will likely accept without hesitation.   Otherwise, I will review your For Trade offerings and counter with cards I would prefer.
• Happy to trade internationally, but the cards need to justify the added shipping cost

Trading Note

I love trading and have no issues trading across the border to our friends down south. I don't particularly care about the dollar value of the cards in the deal and am more focused on balancing the quantity, but I will adjust if dollar value is important to my trading partner. I'm pretty easy and flexible and just ask that people are fair and reasonable. I will also happily trade football for hockey or vice versa and the era of the cards does not matter to me - I just want to get rid of my doubles for cards that I actually want. My doubles have absolutely no value to me as part of my collection. 

Buying

I am not really that interested in buying cards and would much rather trade. That being said, if something peeks my interest I still may go for it. I will not buy from outside Canada however, as the exchange does not make it worth my while.

I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

My collection is relatively small - I try to not to pick up stuff I don't necessarily need. If anything I'm trying to downsize a bit. However, if you find something on my tradelist you could use, here are my collecting priorities, in rough order:

1) my three primary player collections: Kevin McReynolds, Keith Hernandez, Pete Harnisch. Those are, admittedly, really hard to hit because I've got almost every major release from those guys.

2) autographs from everyone who's played for the Mets. Again, hard to hit because the majority of the guys I need either don't have certified autos, are old/deceased, or both. Those are the big two; knowing that those are hard to hit, though and knowing that I just really enjoy trading, here are other things that catch my eye:

3) Mets parallels, but specifically parallels from guys who I really like. :) Dom Smith, Mookie Wilson, Ron Darling, Sid Fernandez, Wilmer Flores, and David Wright, mostly, with deGrom, Gooden, Alonso, and Piazza as other options. It's a moving target - sometimes it's just a feel thing. Don't need base, don't need inserts, necessarily, unless they're particularly eye catching.

4) Modern base flagship cards of classic players. The Topps SP variations, basically, of the Clementes and Aarons and Jackie Robinsons and such.

5) Oversized cards. I've always loved the 5x7 cards, ever since the mid-80s "Super" sets. They're boxtoppers now, so they're harder to find, and it kind of ties in with #4 a bit, because I really love what Topps has done the last few years with my three favorite sets ever: 1983-1985 Topps.

6) G-VG-EX condition vintage. I don't need anything mint. Just love to have some older stuff in my collection. I'm actively looking to downsize a bit, so taking a handful of modern base/low-end inserts off my hands in trade for a few VG/EX vintage is cool by me.

I'm generally pretty easy to trade with, I think, but if you're interested in something valuable or vintage, I'd need something valuable or vintage or off my real wantlists. Thanks for looking!

I'm not trading Topps Baseball anything above 2020.  I am tracking for my son his cards from 2021 to present.  There are wants and trades listed but that's only until he gets his cards in order.  I just didn't want to re-enter everything.Exception(TOPPS 2022 CHROME) Those are mine.

I only use the card values posted on this site (even though they may not reflect current Market Value) It saves time if you and I use the same source , one to which  everyone has access .The only exception is when I'm looking at cards you are offering, I never value it at less than $.05 I figure your effort to store and trade is worth it to me.  Prices vary with Dealers, eBay and even Price guides. I do not send Internationally.  If your Profile does not indicate where you live and its not in the USA I will not complete the deal.  When I'm looking for trades if you Don't displace where you live Country) I'll bypass you even if you have what I need, I may also have what you need. I just avoids mailing issues.  If I trade for a particular VAR that's what I expect in return.  I will always double check to make sure I do the same for you.

I prefer to send smaller trades PWE when possible to keep the cost down. I try to keep the PWE's to at most 27 cards.  I get weary of the thickness in those sometimes, but haven't had any issues yet(KNOCK ON WOOD).  I'll gladly send two PWE's if the trade warrants it. Obviously not possible for thicker cards or more expensive cards.  Bulk trades are welcomed if the value is there.  

Currently #14 in Unique Phillies cards...looking to move up the ladder. My goal is to crack the top 5 by 2024, and eventually take the top spot. Help me out!!!

I like to trade base for base, insert for insert, S/N for S/N, etc.  just so both sides seem to be getting a fair deal.  However, there are times when I will trade outside these parameters if it makes sense.  Just don't send me 50 base cards for a $20 card.

I've been very blessed in my trades and transactions here on TCDB. Thank you to all. I will trade vintage for modern and vice versa as long as there is roughly equal value felt on both sides. I am a set builder and collecter. I do not speculate on my cards for future value. I do this for fun, not for profit. I will sell, but only to build a small bank of money to use for buying cards I can't trade for. I've traded hundreds of cards each way and I've done many 1 for 1 trades, so no trade is too big or small for me.

In packaging, I use painter's tape ONLY. I try to use a photo mailer for small trades of about a dozen or less.  I use #10 PWE for trades up to about 2 dozen cards and maybe 2 PWE for 4 dozen.  After 50 cards, I typically will use a bubble mailer with tracking.  If it is 200 or more cards, they will likely be in a box well padded.

I collect everything Royals and Huskers (yes, even the "junk"). My trading goal/style is efficiency, so I'm looking to do 10-30 card trades for PWE (multiple PWEs is fine as well) and tracked packages for everything larger. If you have a good amount of cards I need, my preference is to trade for them all in one go instead of a few cards at a time. I work hard to condition note my cards if I don't find them close to Nrmt, so I ask that you do the same when we trade. Fair?

What you should expect in trading with me:

Accuracy: I will send exactly the cards you trade for, I strive for 100% every time, no missing cards, no wrong parallels, sorted in the same order TCDb organizes them so that you can quickly add them to your collection.
Detail: I will condition note cards that aren't close to Nrmt, no surprises!
Resolution: If I can't locate a requested card, I'll get you a suitable replacement right away.
Value: I deal in real-world value, not Beckett value, not TCDb value, etc, pricing is skewed for a zillion reasons with those sources. For the most part, we're not trading gold mines here, so just ballpark it and we'll go from there!

I try to keep my trade list stocked with a lot of inserts and parallels, so take a closer look if your wantlist is small! If you don't have cards I need in return, feel free to send me a purchase offer.

I will often propose quality for quantity trades, so if you are turned off by the card imbalance, we can adjust, everyone has different styles!

Hey Everyone,

It's been a long time, but I'm back. I had some major life changes over the past couple of years and also lost a chunk of my collection during a cross-country move.

The loss of cards and major life events put things into perspective, so I took an extended break and didn't touch my cards for over 2 years. I am now picking back up slowly as I re-inventory and reorganize my collection.

Goal for VINTAGE ONLY CARDS (condition NOT very important...just no rips/tears, no writing on the front...some creases ok): Hank Aaron (preferably in a Milwaukie uniform, but not required), Mickey Mantle pre-1969 (earlier the better), Babe Ruth any vintage year, Joe DiMaggio any year, Lou Gehrig any year, Ted Williams pre-1955, Jackie Robinson any year, Shoeless Joe any year, and Stan Musial pre-1960.  For basketball, would like a Kareem while in Milwaukie, early Doctor J, Oscar, early Magic/Bird, Bill Russell, Jerry West, Wilt, Maravich, David Thompson, Gervin, Cousy, Mikan, Moses & maybe a couple others.  Prefer to stay as cheap as possible, but for the right card might go a little higher...obviously Mantle/Ruth/Joe D and those types would be more.  Again, condition I know won't be great at these prices.  I now have a Hank, Mantle, Clemente, Bob Gibson, Ernie Banks, Sandy Koufax and a Willie Mays at these levels, and a couple of Ted Williams, that I'm very happy with.

• I will typically send cards via PWE unless the quantity is above 20 and then I will send BMWT.  If you wish a smaller trade to be sent BMWT, please let me know & adjust the trade accordingly.

I will be home Dec 26-31 then head back to work for 2 more weeks. My next home time home will be January 16-21. While i am away from work my mail even bills gets put aside until i get home so i will not be able to mark the packages received or leave feedback until i return home.  In order to make things as fair as i can i mark all packages received then work on new trades then i go through the packages and leave feedback.  
 

During the week of December 26-31 i may not get to all of the trades for i am having family down that week for Christmas and i am supposed to have me 5th Grandchild arrive.  Not including my wife mother-in-law and youngest daughter at home i am also expecting 18 other family members to be at the house so i will try to get everything done on that Tuesday before they arrive.   Let's say we match on 100 cards. There are a fair amount of stars, commons, high value stuff. It can be definitely time consuming to add for both sides. Add what you are looking for from me and add 1 or more cards from your side and send it over to me. I can fill in the blanks to make that trade work for me. If you want to counter the trade feel free to do that so it works for you. I would hope for a fair amount of give and take dealing with common and star cards. Commons arent very valuable to me going to or coming from me. Just saying. If we can do a larger trade for more cards why wouldnt we?  This may not be everyone's ideal way to trade but I figure we get a lot more accomplished that way. if you want to do all commons on one end and all stars on another let's do that. AGAIN: I don't value common cards very highly whether they are mine or yours. you give me 20 i will give you 20.    I will counter 90 % of the time.  I'm a set collector working on sets. Volume trades are always welcome

I missed the forum post about bobscardz and his banishment. I would have voted NO because he hasn't even tried to send me my end of the cards he got from me. He marked it as problem and never fixed it ever since he left his UNWARRANTED negative against me. He is a spiteful, hateful internet scammer as far as I can see. Thanks for reading my profile. I enjoy trading cards I don't need for those that I do. I've been in this hobby for many years (I remember opening 1955 Bowman packs at our local candy store)! I usually don't pull my end before making a proposal; most times, I'm trying to get a feel for how doable it is, and it saves me from having to refile cards if things fizzle out or if I'm countered.  I will, however, (usually) pull before accepting a trade.  Please counter, if need be!  Communication is key to good trading!   I have some physical limitations..it may take me a bit to pull cards so your patience is appreciated!  

1.  My top priority is completing sets.  

2.  Recent Phillies teamsets and inserts.  I do multiple teamsets to help local Philthies Phans!

3. Older Phillies teamset needs..all brands.
