I collect only Saints cards and anything Archie Manning.  My prime collection is every regular Topps issued Saints card and all oddball Saints cards, ie. food, starting lineup, Tuff Stuff, playing cards type items.  I recently started collecting all card company Saints cards.  My new thing is collecting Shaq cards.

12/4/2023 - Updated my PC lists, so there will be a mass of Jackie Robinson, Roberto Clemente & Corbin Burnes cards available for sale/trade here soon.  As I mention below, my want list is quite narrow, so I am more than willing to sell cards if we don't match up for a trade.

Came across tcdb.com towards the end of 2019, and I have now completed over 1,500 transactions, with over 23,000 cards changing hands!  Love everything about this site.  I have met so many cool people from all over the Country, and even a few from Canada and beyond. (Just completed a trade to Finland, as a matter of fact).

Stole this from another member, but......my goal is to have zero cards in my For Sale/Trade List.  So keep the proposals comin'!

(I know my Want List is relatively small, so I am certainly willing to Sell cards if we don't have enough matches to work out a trade)

My PC list is as follows (with TCDB rankings as of 2/9/2024):

NBA: Giannis (4), Dirk Nowitzki (4), and Tim Duncan (2).

NFL: Sterling Sharpe (3), and Don Majkowski (2)

MLB: Robin Yount (7), Tony Gwynn (6), Hal Morris (3), Mark Grace (7), Pat Listach (1) and Mark Langston (1)

Golf: Rickie Fowler (2)  & Joel Dahmen (2)

WWE: Lita (3)

UFC: Conor McGregor (4)

Non-Sport: Eddie Vedder, Judah Friedlander, Big Jay Oakerson, The Brothers Osborne (TJ & John), Rob Riggle, Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, Charlie Berens, Post Malone and Brody Stevens

Although I currently live in Florida, I was born in Milwaukee.....hence my obsession with Wisconsin sports teams.  Ha.

Please check out my For Sale/Trade list, and feel free to message me or send me trade proposals any time.....let's see what we can get done!  (I don't necessarily trade based on "book value", but rather the value to me, so please feel free to counter if I propose a trade that you feel is unfair.  I also have no rules about "insert for insert" or any of that nonsense, so don't be shy to shoot me a proposal)

My collecting started in the 1950's and has grown through many ups and downs.  I became discouraged in 1980 when all the card manufacturing companies started creating numerous sets and subsets with so many variations.  The New York Yankees have been my collecting interest.  As a young boy, it was my goal to collect every card issued for a Yankee player.  Much like my stamp collection that I inherited from my grandfather, I knew that some items would be out of my price range yet never was there a time when the volume of the collection became a question.

When I attempted to pick up my sports card collection in the 1990's, I was struck by the people who were speculators in the sports card buying side of the collecting.  Those who stop in a card shop, purchased a hobby box manufacturer's brand, opened the packages, removed only the cards listing in the Beckett monthly pricing magazine as value cards, and left the remaining cards on the counter.

Recently, returning to all the sports cards I have accumulated over the years, I discovered a yearning to reduce my collecting to an enjoyable level and try to do something with all the other cards.  Searching the internet lead me to Trading Card Database.  I signed into the program and was very pleasantly surprised by the database.  I am a new user of the database and still learning.

My collecting interests are as follows:
Baseball: New York Yankees - Topps base set {all years}
Football: Jacksonville Jaguars - Cards of all manufacturing brands {1995 thru present}

I will consider trades for cards of either team.

Thank you for viewing my profile and hope we can create a trade!!!

Looking to buy cheap lesser quality vintage baseball and football lots.

I'm a collector, NOT an investor, and I deal solely on that premise.

I have my valuations and ANYTHING vintage (i.e. up through 1979) is considered more highly than anything newer.

I have tons of Wants from the overproduced late 1980s to early 1990s and I am looking to trade within that era for those, but I will go cross-sport, and will try to match HOFers, Stars, or Commons as much as possible in a card-for-card trade.

Mostly I'm a "You got gaps; I got gaps; together no gaps" type trader, BUT because I have plenty of oddball wants, I do not trade those for base cards (or even inserts in most cases). For example, I have plenty of Kellogg's cards, but I prefer trading them for other Kellogg's cards (or other food issued cards) from similar eras.

I ACCEPT lower conditioned creased and worn cards, but I wish to be told about them. The only flaws that I'll decline would be significant paper loss on fronts, markings or doodles that are excessive, or severely cut/torn cards. In those cases I'd still like to see scans to determine if they're acceptable. (I do NOT expect your condition requirements to be like mine.)

I vow to send securely and economically with VARs confirmed and condition issues noted or explained:

  1. At least 18 cards going each way in a PWE.
  2. Trades involving up to 90 cards will be mailed in medium to large business envelopes without tracking.
  3. Larger trades will be sent in most economical way possible (obviously with tracking).

Focusing on These for Now (And the only ones which I'll consider in trades smaller than the 18 minimum from above):

  • BASEBALL
    1. 1975, 1978, & 1980 Topps
    2. 1989 & 1991 Donruss Grand Slammers (master sets)
    3. 2001 Upper Deck Decade 1970s and Upper Deck Vintage (base and related inserts)
    4. Any Topps Heritage New Age Performers
    5. Any food issued sets
  • FOOTBALL
    1. 1966 Philadelphia
    2. 1968 Topps
    3. 1987 Topps
    4. 1994 Ted Williams Roger Staubach's NFL (base and related inserts)
    5. 2009 Philadelphia
  • HOCKEY
    1. 1971-72 & 1978-79 Topps
    2. 1987-88 & 1988-89 Topps
    3. 1989-90, 1990-91, 1991-92 Kraft sets
    4. 2001-02 Topps - 1971-72 Heritage
    5. Any food issued sets

Hey all! Like a lot of guys, I was a collector in the early 90s, stepped away for a while and then came back in 2018 (and even harder in 2020 during the pandemic) to rediscover my love for this hobby.

I'm a set builder through and through; with the exception of Barry Sanders, I don't PC any particular players, and I don't care about inserts, parallels, parallels to inserts, autos, relics, etc. I trade those as soon as I get them. The base set is king, always has been. I'm not an investor, just a collector having fun.

As for trades: I check this site daily, respond quickly to offers and ship quickly. I think it's reasonable, on a site dedicated to trading, that others will do the same, so if you log on and don't bother to check your trade offers within a couple days, I'll move on. Communication is so easy and quick on here, so if you need more time, that's fine. Just talk to me and we'll work it out. I've done 1100+ trades and still have a 100% rating because I care. PWE is preferred on both sides, though anything above 36 cards (two PWEs) usually goes in a bubble mailer.

Sets: I'm a Topps guy who recently finished building out all the base sets from 1983-2023. Working currently on a couple of Chrome and Update sets. Being a junk wax guy, I always have a soft spot for those early 90s sets (nearly every set from 1993 is beautifully designed and underrated, and I'll die on this hill; seriously, revisit Leaf, Donruss, Flair, Fleer and Upper Deck from that year; they hold up). I don't really care about vintage cards either, so anything prior to 1983 generally gets traded right away.

Look forward to working with you all of you and having fun in this hobby!

Zach and Porter here!  Father and son combining junk wax with a new age of collecting.  Base cards still matter and so does the love of the hobby.  We love the White Sox & Chicago Bears.  We operate on a budget so we try to focus on PWE trades to maximize our monthly trade allowance.  With that said we stick to trading in the US.  Thank you for understanding

Porter and I recently started our own YouTube channel in order to share our love for collecting.  Please watch and subscribe here Zach and Porter

Porter and I were recently featured on John Newman's "Sports Card Nation Podcast"  We've been long time fans of John, he is a great ambassador of the hobby - https://www.sportscardnationpodcast.com/ep193-zach-porter-byrne/

Porter and I were recently featured in "Sports Collectors Digest” thanks to John Newman. You can read the article here.  https://sportscollectorsdigest.com/news/collectors-zach-porter-byrne-hobby-journey-sports-card-nation-john-newman

Porter is trying to collect the following sets:

2021 Topps Heritage and 2024 Topps Series 1

Current (or now recently former) White Sox player cards. (Eloy, Yoan, Luis Robert, Vaughn, Cease, etc)  Porter loves anyone who played for the White Sox or Bears.

Jackie Robinson reprints (his idol)  Porter loves collecting reprints of the All-Time Greats!  Pee Wee, Duke, Stan, Honus, etc!

Jim Abbott (he fell in love with Jim's inspirational story)

Shoei Ohtani - what kid doesn't love this guy?!?

Players who turned into announcers and players featured in the Heisman House commercials.

Troy Polamalu, Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson, Tony Gonzalez, Yadi, Trout, Terry Bradshaw, Bryce Harper, Tatis Jr., Justin Tucker, Tony Romo, Arenado, Goldschmidt, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Steelers Manny Sanguillen and many more.

I am trying to collect:

Frank Thomas, Carlton Fisk, Bo Jackson, Robin Ventura, and other JWE stars like Rickey Henderson, Harold Baines, Ozzie Guillen, Jose Canseco, Will Clark, Albert Belle, Eric Davis, etc...I also love collecting reprints of Negro League Stars, specifically Satch, Gibson, and Papa Bell.

I PC the Chicago Bears with a focus on members of the 1985 Bears picking up cards spanning their careers.  I have a few other Football Favorites like Larry Allen, Deion, Rice, Barry Sanders, Lott, Greg Lloyd, James Harrison, Devin Hester, Derrick Thomas, Lawrence Taylor, Christian Okoye, Julius Peppers and other random stars from the past.

I like old Bulls players and other stars from the 90's.  Shawn Kemp, Penny Hardaway, Gary Payton, Larry Johnson, David Robinson, and many more....
