Currently focusing on completely: 1973 base set, 2023 WBC, 2019, 2020 & 2022 archives - 2020 turkey Red. I have Heritage on wants but that is filler for me - 

Value & tradng philosophy: honestly I don't put a lot of effort into card values. I feel the cards I trade in are pretty low end. I use the TCDB values as a general guide and I understand the difference between vintage, wax and modern. Commons - HOF and inserts so I make trade offers accordingly. At the end of the day there's cards we want and cards we want to trade so let's make a deal. I'm open to any trade across years, base to parallel, inserts whatever! 

I would appreciate a response if a make an offer, please let me know issues with trade offers- let's work it out. 

im mostly interested in set building, so if you want an insert or parallel not on my sale list don't hesitate to make an offer.

Prefer: PWE 18 cards  or less. Basically I don't like dealing with post office workers. I will consider all offers, even bigger ones. I will respond to all offers and correspondence quickly unless traveling. I try to turn off trades if away for more than a few days.

I stay very busy as most of us do. That said, I prefer to pull all cards before accepting a trade to ensure that I have everything.  I don't like to be in a rush to do this and typically have to wait for the weekend to get into my cards.  If you are interested in a trade, but you're on a timeline, please communicate that.

Back to collecting Baseball cards after an almost 10 year hiatus.  I'm mainly a set builder, so I'm working on completing sets that I have a start on. I also PC Juan Gonzalez, mainly from his Texas Rangers days.  My trade/for sale list is up to date, and I'm always looking for trades. 

When trading, I usually default to PWE.  Specifically, I use Armalope mailers from cardshellz.com.  If I get a trade over 12 cards or so, I'll opt for a wider envelope, and protect the cards more on the inside.  I also typically will mail Non-Machinable and pay the extra charge.  I do this just as much for my peace of mind as much as for who I'm trading with.  I would prefer trades of at least 4 cards, mainly to keep it more cost effective.   I'm definitely open to larger trade as well, and have no problem shipping in a bubble mailer.

I am not interested in most non licensed brands, or stickers/oddball stuff for the time being. Focusing on major Topps releases, especially numbered or parallels.

• Important notes regarding trades!!! 
• Please be realistic in regards to value when offering trades. I have junk wax commons on my want list. That does not mean I am willing to trade 20 junk wax commons for 20 modern inserts/refractors. Nickel cards for $1 cards is not a fair offer! This includes modern base as well. Don't offer me 15 modern base cards for 15 inserts/refractors.
• I am juggling kids and work (as many of you are), so it may take 3-4 days for me to respond to trade offers. I know you can see that I logged into the site, but that doesn't mean I had time to pull and verify cards. I try to do it nightly, but sometimes it just isn't possible. Thanks for your patience.
• I do not mind small trades if there is a little value. I don't like trades for 2-4 base cards that aren't worth the postage. 
• Regarding variations from junk wax years. I don't need to collect the different variations. I just want any one of the variations for my personal collection. It doesn't matter to me if it is missing a period, or if it has an (A) in the trademark line etc.

All my inserts/parallels/chrome cards are sleeved.

I assume trades up to about 20 cards will be sent PWE (well packed) unless requested otherwise.

  I love old cardboard - Started as a kid collecting in 1974, buying and opening packs with my cousin (who later in life gave me all his 74 and 75s.  It was all about finding any Aaron cards when ripping open a pack that year.                                                ((ORIOLES FAN, VIKINGS & PANTHERS FAN))

I'm not new to the site, but have recently just completed adding most of my cards.  I currently only collect baseball cards, but have a small collection of football cards that are not a priority.  While I do like to have complete base sets, Inserts are my favorite.  I like the smaller number of cards, and typically the Inserts are more interesting looking to me.  

As far as trading goes, I prefer the following:

• To keep the years within a decade of each other.  It's hard for me to judge a fair trade when the years get too far apart.  It doesn't have to be 80's for 80' and 90's for 90's, and so on, but keeping the gap to 10 years or so makes it easier for me.
• I don't mind big trades, but I don't have a ton of time to be on here, so if you send me a large trade request it's going to take me a while to go over it to see if I like it.  Just keep that in mind.
• And I will go over it.  I got burnt on here early on while I was busy uploading cards and someone snuck a couple of high-priced cards in the middle of the trade request on a high-volume trade.  I was too trusting and didn't go through each card to see how they stacked up in value.  I won't do that again.
• With that being said, I DO NOT have to "win" the trade.  But it has to be close.  Most of my offers will have me on the low side of the trade.  But if you send me an offer and you are coming out ahead, as long as it's not really bad, I don't need to feel like I "won" to accept it.  
• Again, I like the Inserts.  Those are the trades that are going to catch my eye first.

So far I'm loving this site and the people on it.  It's been fun.  Once the fun stops, then I'll stop. 

2024 goals:

• I have a big 2005 Fleer Tradition collection with all of the Inserts that I've been working on for years.  If I can get one card from one of the Inserts sets and another 100 of the Gray Backs I'll be tickled.  Seriously, I'm to the point on the Inserts that it's really hard to find any that I need.
• Complete 10 sets that I have started.  I think I can get this one done.
• Have cards from every 2025 release.

I collect Atlanta sports cards from modern to vintage, NASCAR cards from modern to vintage, and interesting inserts. I'm willing to offload almost anything that doesn't fit within my PC as I don't have a ton of storage space.

I primarily prefer to trade, and I tend to keep PWE trades between 1 - 15 cards. For trades of 1 - 3 cards, I will ship the cards in a semi-rigid card holder, team bag, and an Armalope envelope. For trades of more than 3 cards, I will ship the cards in a binder sleeve sandwiched between cardboard in a #10 envelope. If you prefer a different packaging method, please note that in the trade and I will follow your preferences accordingly. I do my best to ship within two days after the trade is accepted.

I really enjoy the opportunity to trade with other TCDB.com members.  I hope to begin initiating more trade requests, but I am very receptive to any which I receive.  I will try and pull all requested cards before I accept trade requests and I put an emphasis on timely responses and good communication.

I am only accepting the minimum of 9 card pwe trades and up to 18 cards for one envelope if more than that is in a trade they will be shipped in 2 pwe envelopes up to 36 cards 18 in each envelope. And for bubble mailer trades up to 100 cards in one bubble mailer. With the postage going up again in June or July I would rather do bigger trades if possible but willing to still do some pwe trades. when sending trade proposals I generally give 2 to 3 days for a response if no response i usually delete the proposal so I am not tying up my cards for other trades. I joined the site early in 2021 and have loved being part of the community.  I was starting to lose interest in hobby with too much emphasis on flipping and slabbing etc.   I really enjoy trading and am happy to review any and all offers!

Like many of you, I collected as a youth in the early 70's.  They sat in the closet for forty years. About ten years ago, I started to pick up some cards and got the itch.  Now retired, I am having a ball trying to fill the sets that I started a long time ago.  I've made over 200 trades since April 2022 and looking forward to doing more.

My priorities - in order of preference, are the following:

• Tony Oliva cards of any variety 
• Minnesota Twins Topps base sets cards from 1961-2022.  
  • 1961-1972:  47 to go
  • 1973-2023:  10 to go
• 1970 Topps Baseball Set (First set I did many years ago) - 2 to go
• 1970 Topps Football set - 4 to go
• Green Bay Packer Topps or equivalent 
• NEW - Kirby Puckett non-Topps cards
• Non-Topps Minnesota Twins (when all else fails). I would only be interested in trading my non-Topps and late 80’s/early 90’s Topps cards for these 

Most of my cards are from the 70's with some in 60's and 80’s-2000.  I am not a grader, so I guess on condition.  Most of my 80's and newer are Ex or better.  My 60's and 70's range from EX to Well Loved Poor.  Any cards I have marked with a Good has an issue that I will point out during the trade process (usually a  bad corner or small crease) If marked Fair, it is a more substantial issue.

I am very honest when making a trade and will give you all details on condition, including sending pictures before we trade.  I respect everyone's expectations on cards sent to them.  Personally, I accept cards as long as they are not badly creased or written on the front.

BASEBALL

My personal collection of sports cards & memorabilia is mainly baseball. Go Phillies! I'm a set-builder, through-and-through and I especially enjoy the chase of hunting the variety of parallels, refractors, and inserts in recent Topps and Bowman sets (i.e., from about 2020 onwards).

I'm just now starting to explore the vintage card space, as well, but am warming to it a lot more slowly, mainly due to my own ignorance. I'm considering making the 1953 Bowman Color set my White Whale; they're just so attractive to the eye. However, I'm working on the 1957 Topps set as a more accessible entry point into collecting sets from the era. Please feel free to offer up additional suggestions.

I'm less interested in junk wax, but don't hold me to that.

NON-SPORTS

A lot of my recent collecting has been focused on all manner of non-sports ​trading cards. I'm especially interested in products featuring characters from Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Star Trek: TNG, or anything tied to pop culture of past eras. I'm also really starting to enjoy historical sets. Finally, I'm a child of the '80s and '90s, so I have a soft spot for anything released from about 1975 to 2000, but I can also appreciate oldies, especially if it's film or television.

I have really enjoyed the many trades I've made here. I have been focusing mostly on set collecting with a side interest in collecting Phillies cards. 

When it comes to trades I generally like to stick to paper for paper, chrome for chrome, parallel for parallel, and insert for insert. There are certainly exceptions to that if values align outside of those categories and also am more than fine with a mixture of all of these in the same trade. I most likely don't want to trade a few of my chrome cards for many paper and like to stick to more of a 1 to 1 type trade but I am definitely willing to trade a bunch of my lower value cards for a few higher value cards.

1b.  2001 Topps Master set - I'm down to the tough ones.  Eight golds left, most of the game used and autos.  I realize completing this set is a pipe dream but I love the chase.

1c.  Looking for a Mike Schmidt g/u card.  Needs to be a licensed product.  Getting my hands on one may help me pick up one of the 2001 Topps cards I've been hunting down for 20 years.

2.  2019 Topps 150th Anniversary parallel set - Need just 119 of the flagship set and 105 of the Update set.  Most of the really tough ones I already have.  This set is totally doable.

3.  Any Topps card I need.  I'm a set collector, first and foremost.  going back to my first year of collecting (82) thru today. 

4.  I'll never say no to Diamondback cards I need.  last I checked, I needed 107,000+ Dbacks cards, lol.

Carlos Rodon threw a no hitter on my 20th birthday so I'm looking for cards of his serial numbered 0414/2021 and 20/any #. Specifically 2021 Topps Update US288 and US297. I'd probably overpay in a trade for these

Looking to build out Topps baseball sets, primarily from 1970 to present, and building my Tom Seaver collection (currently in the top 10 on TCDB).  Collected back in the early to mid 70s as a kid, then lost interest in high school (girls!).  Back to it in the mid 80s and sporadically since. 

Grew up in upstate New York as a Mets fan (hence the Seaver collection) but have lived in Chicago since the early 80s and now a fan of both the Cubs and White Sox (yes, you can root for both - I just want winning baseball in Chicago!)

All football, basketball, hockey and non-Topps baseball cards (except Seavers) are availalble for trades.

A note on condition:  most of the cards I have for sale/trade that are from 1973 and earlier are of the "well loved" variety and have some sort of flaw (bad corners, creases, writing, etc.).  I would definitely be interested in trading them for similar condition cards from the same or similar years.  Shoot me an offer or a message if you have some you'd be interested.  Thanks.

a note on card condition - the baseball cards (the football and basketball cards are in MUCH better condition!  at least Ex-Mt, some look like they just came out of the pack! ) from the 70s are at least VG some are actually Ex-MT --  the 80s are mostly Ex - the 90s are mostly Ex-Mt --  NONE are Mint right out of the pack - i will NOT be listing the condition of each and every card but will let you know when they are in a transaction -- variations were not always checked - if you need a specific variation be sure that is communicated in the transaction :)

Hi there, I'm Dustin. A Seattle Mariners fan (dogs named Griffey and Felix), I collect 1) George Kirby, 2) Kyle Seager, and of course Griffey, Randy Johnson, Edgar, Ichiro, Felix, and Julio. My goal is to be a top 10 TCDb collector of both Kirby and Seager by the end of 2024. Also hoping to begin collecting Gonzaga Bulldogs basketball alum, especially in a Zags uniform.

This is a hobby for me. I am interested in the history of the cards, my team and the players who wore the uniform. I enjoy cataloging my cards, organizing my sets to view and searching out the cards to complete them. Values of cards are relative to me as I do not entirely view my collection as an investment, but the cards that I do wish to collect come at a price and therefore I do seek likewise returns on trades for higher value or rarer cards e.g. SPs, rookies etc. I do my best to ensure that my available trade cards are accurate and I will pull all requested cards prior to accepting a proposal so it may take me a few days to respond to any offer. 

Just about any Yankees card is a welcomed addition to my collection. I have not gone to the trouble of adding all parallels, SPs etc. to my wantlist yet but I would also like to trade for these. Especially interested in any mini- or over-sized cards, die-cuts, coins, stickers, booklets, posters, pins, memorabilia cards, manufactured patch cards, autographed cards, serial numbered cards, food issues and oddball cards.

When trading for any cards from 1980 onwards I am only interested in EX-MT condition or better.

Not all of my cards have been added to my collection; the ones I haven't added are mostly commons. My wantlist is very big and broad, I will be making a list with my most wanted cards at some point soon. However, I won't be disappointed if I receive any card on my wantlist. I am a college student, so it may take me some time to get through all the steps of a trade, but I try to be communicative on that front and let my trade partners know when something might slow me down.
