Hi Folks, I love cards but need to take a break for a while. Will finish up current trades. Will decline with no prejudice offers I received in the last couple weeks that I could not respond to. I hope you will feel the same way. Happy to trade when I am back at it. Life, work, mother, taxes all take priority for a while. Go Giants!! Please save your cool Giants for me. By all means message me and I will respond when I can. Take care, Art

My mom is home from hospital and getting better. However, I am very busy helping her, grocery shopping, taking her to appointments etc. Lots of driving. I will do trades but I may be slower to respond than usual but I will fill, pack and mail like I always do. I even will send out a few proposals.  I would rather be doing trades than helping my mother but I have to do for family before cards. Offers with SF Giants will take priority.  Thanks Art

Currently looking to complete 23 Pristine base and refractor set as number one priority. I have base and refractor to trade for what I need.

Buster Posey, Willie McCovey, Brandon Crawford, Sean Hjelle, Patrick Bailey top players for me.

Save your cool NY or SF Giants for me. Always welcome San Francisco Giants cards 2002 - 2020 not on want list if they are not in my collection yet. Goal of 10,000 SF Giants cards.

Working on 2021 Heritage Master set. Need Varieties mostly.

Heritage set collector. If you have Heritage base or SPs on my wantlist lets trade. Also welcome Heritage Inserts I don't have even if not on want list.

I will only go to the PO on Monday morning and Friday morning to mail whatever trades have been accepted by the night before.

Thanks Art

I trade cards to build baseball, hockey and some miscellaneous sports / non-sport sets. I also PC Felipe Alou, Derek Aucoin, Steve Begin, Jennifer Botterill, Kevin Dineen, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Bob Kudelski, Manon RheaumeGabriela Sabatini and P.J. Stock as well. I do not buy cards. I also have a sweet spot for oddball / food issue / regional sets. New cards are regularly added to my FT/S list and all the cards I list here are NRMT or EX unless specified and I expect the same of you.

I don't collect micro-variations (dots, stars, copyright marks, holograms, printing plate codes...), they're not fun to search and I dislike the incessant frequency with which new ones are added. Seriously, what's the point if you gotta need to use a magnifier glass to check out if there's a dot on the back of a 1991 Fleer? However, I do all my best to check all my cards and to keep my lists up to date, but please ask me first, if micro-variations matter to you. The site really needs some way of opting out of micro-variations (just a default / any var. / unverified option for each card).

Besides helping to complete our collections one step closer each time, the opportunity would be nice to have traded with all the states, provinces and territories of North America. On this site only, I traded with members in 46 states, D.C., 9 provinces, N.W.T. and overseas. I can't wait to have a trade in Alaska, Delaware, North Dakota, Wyoming, Manitoba, Nunavut and Yukon. However, if you don't live in the above jurisdictions, you're still more than welcome to trade with me. No trade to Russia, Belarus and Iran.

I'm an easy going, helpful and patient guy, but here's now my turn to announce that my NO TRADE LIST is growing due to an increased lack of civility on the forums and the full site. If (1) you nitpick and/or always have an opinion on anything and/or act like you own the site and you're not Admin or (2) you do not respond to counters or decline without expressing a reason or don't PM me to ask more time after several days of wait or (3) you send me ridiculous off-balanced offers or (4) you accept the trade and you can't mail your cards in a timely manner or you send me loose or severly damaged cards or (5) have a brand new (empty) account without info / feedback and ask for valuable cards or (6) you clearly didn't read my profile (ask first, at least) and ask me to buy your cards, then chances are that you just won a place on my NO TRADE LIST regardless of how much I may want what you have.

I am fine with shipping cards in single or multiple PWEs, if the cards are properly packaged. Also, I don't mind large or small transactions, but I currently prefer trades with 10 to 20 cards going each way or at least that the cards carry more value than the postage. I am working 12 hour shifts, but I always try to ship the same or the next business day. Just remember that Canada Post doesn't pick up or deliver on Saturday and Sunday.

International shipping is very easy, but it costs more for BOTH traders (not just from the U.S.). Here are some tips to save on shipping costs to Canada: use PWEs (Plain White Envelopes) and avoid bubble envelopes, plastic boxes and big stacks of cards. Ship as flat as you can (cut 9 pocket pages in 3 rows and insert 4-5 cards in each pocket). The more it looks like a greeting card or documents mailed in a regular letter instead of a package, the more it tends to be cheaper to ship. Current U.S. to Canada first class postage rate (up to 2 oz) is $1.40 and if non-machinable, $1.79. If you don't have Global Forever stamps handy, three regular Forever stamps work as well. There's also no need to pay $14.85 for shipping with international tracking, because it is just too expensive, it will be way slower to arrive and Canada Post won't track your postal item anyway. Overall, postal service tends to be slower in Canada and at times a bit harder to predict, but it is as reliable as in the U. S.. Lastly, no cross-border shipping by Fedex or UPS: they charge $40.00+ custom brokerage on each and every package they handle no matter if it is duty free or not.

A.S.

Dec. 15, 2023 - This past year was an extremely difficult one for me. I logged in just a couple of weeks ago, after a 5 month haitus from life. I'm more or less just trying to catch up on my wantlists and figuring out where I last left off. I think it will be quite a while until I'm back to my old self. If you're interested in a bubble envelope sized trade, please send me a PM. - Happy holidays, Eric

Any and all Braves cards from 1954 - Present (RIP Hank Aaron).

I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

Willing to trade just about anything for Braves cards......

I have been trying to do the impossible and collect the entire 2016 Topps and Update Sets. Any help would be appreciated!

*Willing to buy cards in my wantlist*

Collecting: Brewers Gold Prizm cards, Topps and Topps Heritage Brewers team sets, Brewers autographs, and anything else Brewers that catches my eye! Dabble in vintage Milwaukee Braves when I can afford to. I’m mostly a singles buyer so my trade list is quite small and not very exciting, hence the statement up there at the top!

I do not distinguish between * or **, . Or no .

I collect the following teams and players:

New York Mets
New York Giants
Philadelphia Flyers
Penn State Nittany Lions Football (in Penn State uniform)
Keith Hernandez
Mike Piazza
Al Hrabosky
Mario Lemieux

Always open for making trades. I have an extensive collection of cards mainly from the late 70s through the early 2000s, but also have some more modern product. If you see it in my collection and it doesn't fit my PC, I might be willing to sell or trade it, even if it isn't listed as being on my For Sale/Trade list. It can't hurt to ask, so feel free to reach out

In addition to the teams/players above, I'm working on building complete sets of Stadium Club, Fleer Ultra and Fleer/Skybox Metal, various 90s inserts (the 90s had the best inserts) and player lots of my favorite first basemen.

My collection is relatively small - I try to not to pick up stuff I don't necessarily need. If anything I'm trying to downsize a bit. However, if you find something on my tradelist you could use, here are my collecting priorities, in rough order:

1) my three primary player collections: Kevin McReynolds, Keith Hernandez, Pete Harnisch. Those are, admittedly, really hard to hit because I've got almost every major release from those guys.

2) autographs from everyone who's played for the Mets. Again, hard to hit because the majority of the guys I need either don't have certified autos, are old/deceased, or both. However, they don't need to be in a Mets uniform, which opens up the pool a bit. My need list: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qwZl3ADQSf_gVoFHtuS6t3hRaaHnEzRZ3N3h7sJtjkQ

Those are the big two; knowing that those are hard to hit, though and knowing that I just really enjoy trading, here are other things that catch my eye:

3) 1960 Topps. Picked up about 60% of this set from a friend and figured "what the heck, let's go for it." Literally just about any condition as long as there's nothing major (holes, rips) is good for me. I'm down to less than 30 cards for this set, and since they're mostly higher-value cards, I'm really *looking* for off-condition at this point.

4) Mets parallels, but specifically parallels from guys who I really like. :) Mookie Wilson, Ron Darling, Sid Fernandez, Wilmer Flores, and David Wright, mostly, with Nimmo, Gooden, Alonso, and Dom Smith as other options. It's a moving target - sometimes it's just a feel thing. Don't need base, don't need inserts, necessarily, unless they're particularly eye catching.

5) Modern base flagship cards of classic players. The Topps SP variations, basically, of the Clementes and Aarons and Jackie Robinsons and such.

6) Oversized cards. I've always loved the 5x7 parallels of base cards, ever since the mid-80s "Super" sets. They're boxtoppers now, so they're harder to find, and it kind of ties in with #4 a bit, because I really love what Topps has done the last few years with my three favorite sets ever: 1983-1985 Topps.

7) Other G-VG-EX condition vintage. I don't need anything mint. Just love to have some older stuff in my collection. I'm actively looking to downsize a bit, so taking a handful of modern base/low-end inserts off my hands in trade for a few VG/EX vintage is cool by me.

I'm generally pretty easy to trade with, I think, but if you're interested in something valuable or vintage, I'd need something valuable or vintage or off my real wantlists. Thanks for looking!

Basketball - Looking to collect Gonzaga players.

Hockey - Collect mainly for fun, will build complete sets as I can. Very interested in junior hockey sets (WHL, OHL, QMJHL, CHL, etc.)

Racing - Primarily logging my dad's collection but would like to collect more eventually!

I love trades. I'm happy to sell. I'm very unlikely to buy.

I am not very picky about condition for my PC. I always appreciate a heads-up, but its very unlikely to be a deal-breaker.

Mostly baseball, but I collect football, basketball and hockey too. Like the olympic sets, and some non-sports as well. Boston sports fan so always on the lookout for Boston guys.

If you are looking to trade for my vintage items, I am looking for vintage in return with roughly comparable players. If you are asking for vintage hall of famers, there should probably be hall of famers in your offer, not semi-stars or only modern cards. When trading vintage, I am looking for VG-EX and up and I will deliver the same. If I don't have my best guess on card condition in the database, just ask. Definitely not a grader, but I try hard to list fair, accurate grades for my older stuff.

HOW I APPROACH TRADING:

  • Please understand when trading with me with that value is in the eye of the beholder, not necessarily what eBay says.  I do, however, understand when buying or selling that some basis of value needs to be applied.
  • My priority is growing the quantity of my collection, not necessarily the value of my collection.
  • If I have something you want, and you have something I want, let’s make it work.
  • I do my best to make trades even, but I don’t research the sale price of every card for every proposal I make.  Please don't get offended if I make an offer where the value is in my favor. I'm not trying to rip you off; I just want to make trade.
  • My offers are always negotiable.  If you aren't happy with an offer, please counter before declining.
  • If I decline a trade, I will always provide a reason.  Please, Please, Please offer me the same courtesy.  I really hate feeling like my offers just ignored.
  • If you decline a trade with a response of values are a little off, I probably won't offer again.  It's not how I look at trading.
  • This is a hobby to me, not a business.  I'm not looking to make money and I know that my hobby will cost me money.  That said, I don’t understand the response it's not worth the postage.  If you aren't making a trade because of the cost of a stamp we are in this hobby for different reasons and probably won't make greatest trade partners.

TRANSACTING WITH ME:

  • Packaging: I prefer PWE.  I package trades up 6 cards in semi-rigid holder(s) with first class stamp.  Over 6 cards will be shipped in 9 pocket pages with cereal box cardboard.  Anything over 27 cards will ship BMWT.  I try to review packaging expectations before proposing a trade, but if you are particular with packaging, please make me aware before we both accept a trade.  If your packaging expectation isn't stated in advance, I'm packing how I see fit.
  • Shipping: I make regular trips to the post office and will attempt to mail things out the day after they are accepted.   I will only ship PWE internationally, not interested in filling out customs forms.
  • Trading: I don't have any restrictions on trades.  No minimums or maximums on cards in or out.  I'll do big lots for small lots or small lots for big lots.  I'll trade between eras and between sports.  I'll do inserts for commons or commons for inserts.  I just want both sides to feel like they've improved their collection when our trade is done.
  • Buying: I'm open to buying only add to my Ripken collection.
  • Selling: Will sell anything on my trade list for a reasonable price.

COLLECTING INTERESTS:

Primary PC - Cal Ripken Jr. (TCDB #6): My primary collection; I've been a collector since I was a kid.  I'll trade for anything I don’t have regardless of whether it's on my want-list or not.  I will trade from this collection, so long as I have the same number or more cards coming in as I do going out.  I'm selective on what I'm willing to deal from this collection based on how difficult it would be to replace it.

  • Always building the 2007 HOF insert sets:
    • Ultra Iron Man (complete)
    • SPx Iron Man (complete)
    • Upper Deck Commemorative (complete)
    • Upper Deck Ripken Chronicles (complete)
    • Upper Deck Road to the Hall (w/Gwynn) (complete)
    • Upper Deck Iron Men (w/Gehrig). (complete)
    • Spectrum Road to the Hall (74/100).

Secondary Orioles Collections:  I do cycle cards in and out of these collections, especially for current players.  If there is something you like here, message me and we may be able to work something out.  My want-list is small and I only collect base set and color variations, particularly orange or black parallels.  I am open to adding to my want-list to facilitate a trade.  I do not chase inserts for this collection unless it’s an auto or relic card.  I'm open to adding stuff not on my want-list.

  • Secondary PCs (all O's uniform only, except rookies)
    • Brady Anderson
    • Gunnar Henderson
    • Jackson Holiday
    • Adam Jones
    • Manny Machado
    • Trey Mancini
    • Nick Markakis
    • Cedric Mullins
    • Eddie Murray
    • Mike Mussina
    • Jim Palmer
    • Boog Powell
    • Brian Roberts
    • Brooks Robinson
    • Frank Robinson
    • Grayson Rodriguez
    • Adley Rutschman
  • Top 50 Players; ranked by W.A.R.: Rookie cards for the 50 players (49/50), only missing Hoyt Wilhelm.  Check out my list!
  • Rookies:  Looking for major release, base set only, with RC/FS/FC/etc logo.
  • Minor Leaguers: I tend to only keep one card per player.  So, these are not available, although I may be open to a deal involving the same player.

Baseball Stars & HOFers: Unless you’re offering a better/older card of the same player, these aren't available.  I'm always interested in acquiring a card of a great baseball player, whether or not they are on my want-list.  Condition (on vintage) outside of creases and rips doesn't matter to me.  I'm more interested in the historical than monetary value for this collection.

1992 Topps Baseball: It may be the epitome of junk era cards, but this was the set that got me into collecting.  I built the set as a kid and is one of only 2 complete sets I have. Collection includes:

  • 1992 Topps (792 cards)
  • 1992 Topps Traded (132 cards)
  • 2012 Topps Archives (6 cards)
  • 2013 Topps Archives (3 cards)
  • 2017 Topps Archives (100 cards plus 6 SSP variations)
  • 2021 Topps Update Redux (50 cards)
  • 2022 Topps Archives (25 cards)
  • 2022 Topps Archives MLD autographs (15 cards).

Football and Hockey:  Buffalo Bills, Washington Football, and Buffalo Sabres cards.  Feel free to offer me anything I don't have, particularly off-base cards.  No college jerseys.  If you want something from me and we don't have any matches, feel free to offer me stuff from these teams.

  • Football and Hockey PCs:
    • Josh Allen (TCDB #24)
    • Sean Taylor (TCDB #6)
    • Chris Cooley (TCDB #4)
    • Paul Gaustad (just starting)

Non-sports: This collection is used to catalog my 90's Marvel sets.  None of this available.  If you are looking to trade and can't find matches, my kids are into Pokémon and I'll trade for insert cards (EX, GX, V, MAX, etc..) for them.

5 cards incoming is a minimum for trades, please! (Unless it's a higher-value card)

I am prioritizing my collecting on Nebraska Cornhuskers currently, so any trades for those former players are preferred.

I care about VARs/variations/parallels. If it's documented that way on TCDb, that's the one I'm looking for! Please take a little time to confirm your cards being offered are correctly documented. Easy traps that everyone falls into are 1990s ProCards/CMC cardbacks and football hobby base versus retail base.

Check out the results of the Ukraine trip here!

Declining trade offers with no message is of little use to the person initiating the trade, show some effort to those putting together trade offers and take a few seconds to note why the trade doesn't work in its current state. A few moments to communicate can lead to a deal getting done!

On the flip side, please stop sending me 1-4 card trades showing that you didn't read/ignored my top message in bold, respect for time goes both ways!

12/4/2023 - Updated my PC lists, so there will be a mass of Jackie Robinson, Roberto Clemente & Corbin Burnes cards available for sale/trade here soon.  As I mention below, my want list is quite narrow, so I am more than willing to sell cards if we don't match up for a trade.

Came across tcdb.com towards the end of 2019, and I have now completed over 1,500 transactions, with over 23,000 cards changing hands!  Love everything about this site.  I have met so many cool people from all over the Country, and even a few from Canada and beyond. (Just completed a trade to Finland, as a matter of fact).

Stole this from another member, but......my goal is to have zero cards in my For Sale/Trade List.  So keep the proposals comin'!

(I know my Want List is relatively small, so I am certainly willing to Sell cards if we don't have enough matches to work out a trade)

My PC list is as follows (with TCDB rankings as of 2/9/2024):

NBA: Giannis (4), Dirk Nowitzki (4), and Tim Duncan (2).

NFL: Sterling Sharpe (3), and Don Majkowski (2)

MLB: Robin Yount (7), Tony Gwynn (6), Hal Morris (3), Mark Grace (7), Pat Listach (1) and Mark Langston (1)

Golf: Rickie Fowler (2)  & Joel Dahmen (2)

    WWE: Lita (3)

    UFC: Conor McGregor (4)

Non-Sport: Eddie Vedder, Judah Friedlander, Big Jay Oakerson, The Brothers Osborne (TJ & John), Rob Riggle, Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, Charlie Berens, Post Malone and Brody Stevens

Although I currently live in Florida, I was born in Milwaukee.....hence my obsession with Wisconsin sports teams.  Ha.

Please check out my For Sale/Trade list, and feel free to message me or send me trade proposals any time.....let's see what we can get done!  (I don't necessarily trade based on "book value", but rather the value to me, so please feel free to counter if I propose a trade that you feel is unfair.  I also have no rules about "insert for insert" or any of that nonsense, so don't be shy to shoot me a proposal)

I keep up with the base Topps and Donruss baseball sets.

I also enjoy collecting oddball baseball sets.  My current focus is on the following:

    • Starting Line Up cards (not the figures)
    • Sponsored team sets like Police, Fire Safety, Kahn's, Coke, etc.
    • Updating my Hostess box panel cards (individuals)

I am always looking for cards that I do not have of the following Hall of Famers.  Serial numbered cards less than 100 are not on my want list but I am still interested.

    • Frank Thomas (White Sox only)
    • Carlton Fisk (Red Sox or White Sox)
    • Ernie Banks (Mr. Cub)

    PLEASE READ

    CARD CONDITION

I have removed all recent cards that are not NRMT or better from my inventory.  ExMt or better from 80's or earlier.  Anything less than ExMt will be specified and discussed before mailing.  In turn, I ask that you do not send me anything that does not meet these criteria.

    POSTAGE

I will send all cards in plain white envelope (PWE) unless agreed otherwise or if card values are high.  Mailing more than 18 cards may be split into separate envelopes.  I always buy postage at the post office and get a receipt so I have some kind of verification.

Single cards will go out in a toploader.  Multiple cards will go in a 9 pocket sheet, folded and placed between more rigid cardboard.  The goal is to keep it thin to keep it cheap and avoid package charges.

    TRADING

I use Beckett pricing to even up trades.  If you look up prices on Ebay, Sportlots or COMC, sell your cards there.

Primarily Baseball: Set Builder & Player Collector in the 80's and 90's and there a few sets that I am seeking to complete.  Really enjoy the odd-ball stuff upon my return to the hobby.  Many duplicates for trade.  Still working on cataloging many 1980-1993 Topps, Donruss, Fleer, Score, Bowman and Upper Deck cards as I built sets from wax/cello/rack packs with very little help via the trade.

Some Football:  Built sets in the 80's and have some duplicates to trade.

Some Hockey:  Built sets in the early 90's and have some duplicates to trade.

Some Golf:  Built 1981, 1982 Donruss Golf  and 1991 Pro Set.  Some duplicates for trade.

Some Basketball:  Not sure exactly how I acquired most of these cards and most are for trade.

Some Multi-Sport:  Not sure exactly how I acquired most of these cards and most are for trade.

Some Racing:  Built a few sets in the early 90's and have some duplicates for trade.

Some Non-Sports:  Built sets in the late 80's and Early 90's and there are a few that are incomplete.  Have some duplicates for trade.

***I Do Not Accept Unsolicited Offers to Buy Cards -- Trades Only***

I am a fan of the Washington Redskins and Atlanta Braves. I collected baseball cards (and some football cards) as a boy into my teens. I sold off my cards as a young adult who was an active alcoholic. [I have been sober since February 17, 1991.]

I re-started collecting cards in 2015 during a business trip to Sapporo, Japan. I went to a Nippon Ham Fighters game, and while transversing the gift shop as I was leaving the stadium, I came upon packs of 2015 BBM Nippon Ham Fighters baseball cards. I haven't stopped since...

I collect Japanese & US Pro Baseball -- particularly Boston/Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves.

Please feel free to send me a friend request here and on Facebook.

I have cut down my defined want list so I can hopefully get more targeted trade requests.  If you would like to do a larger trade and my want list is a bit light, help me out by pointing out some things I should look into based on my likes below.

These are the sets I am most focused on right now

    2020 Topps Update - Baseball Coin Cards - SN ( 5 )

    2021 Topps Redux Chrome - 1952 Redux ( 4 ) - 1965 Redux ( 21 ) -  1992 Redux ( 24 )

I am passively working on the Topps Holiday Relic sets, ie. if I can get some I need in trade, I will take advantage but I am not actively seeking out the cards, yet.

There are a number of sets I am in between on, maybe I will try to finish, maybe I will trade.  I decided to push them all to trade as I would trade them for items needed above.  But I would also trade for cards I am missing for the sets and push what I have to collection status.  Also just because a card is on my trade list does not mean I will trade it for anything.  I have added some cards in hopes to be able to attract cards I need to finish the above sets.

Otherwise I would always at least look at anything in an Iowa Hawkeye jersey. Also Rams of the "Greatest show on Turf" era ( Warner, Faulk, Bruce, Holt ).  Cubs from the championship team ( Bryant, Baez, Rizzo ), HOF Cubs ( Banks, Sandberg ), Frank Thomas, Griffey Jr.  Favre, Rodgers.  Packers patches, relics, and autos.  Cubs patches, relics and autos.   David Robinson, Tim Duncan, Stockton, Malone, Bird. Emmitt Smith and Barry Sanders.  And the generic HOF RC, patches and autos, but I will be a bit more selective then in the past.

I guess you can say my collection has a squishy middle I am trying to reduce and refine.

Trade Notes for those making offers:

    - Trades need to be worth the postage, in my opinion.

    - I am typically shipping out once over the weekend, even if the deal is made early in the week.  Keep this in mind when sending out your portion of the trade.

    - If you are interesting in buying, please make a total offer and break it down for each card.  I do not really have the time to price the cards out only to find we are not in the same ballpark.  My preference is to trade but I understand that there may not be enough in the trade match.

    - I will never accept a proposal without first reaching out and confirming.  If you are feeling things out, then pick the cards you would like and then just pick 1 thing on my side.  If you have something in mind, write out the details.  Please tell how you found me.  What card had you clicking on my profile to propose a trade?  What is the key card(s) you are looking for?  How do you see things matching up?

    - I will entertain a trade where I get a percentage of a new base or insert set that I find visually appealing I can then work on to finish.  Not everything I would be interested in has made it to my want list.

    - If you are proposing a trade for my serial numbered cards, then I would be looking for serial numbered cards in return.  The same with graded cards or patch cards although I am more lax on my trading of patch cards of certain sets and players.

    - I do not like to trade big for a lot of small items.  I like to trade big for big and small for small.  If you would like to trade something big for a lot of my small items, that is fine because that is your choice.

    - I will not do blanket trades ( ie x on my side for y on your side trade ).  I want to lay out the trade and match up items, like if we were sitting across from each other at a table and started to swap cards.  Since I have cut down my want list, I have gotten a little more relaxed about this.  But I am still more comfortable breaking it into smaller pieces, either by laying out the trade in messages or by creating multiple trade offers and matching cards up that way.  If there are multiple trade offers, we can work them all out and then send them all together at the end.

    - On my side of the trade ledger, I view commons as a way to fill out an envelope and not as a centerpiece of a trade.

    - I end up spending a lot of time on trying to figure out trades.  So going forward, if I do not like what is in the initial offer and there is no explanation of what you are looking for or how we match up and I do not see anything in the trade matching I like, I will just decline.

    - Regarding card values - I am not concerned with this site's pricing.  The pricing on TCDB is a loose guideline; a way to get a ballpark value.  But I do not base my trades around the values listed on the site.  Instead I use sportlots for most items and comc/ebay for the rarer/higher value items.  Even then, those are guides and not rules.  Also when pricing, listed shipping matters.

    - Shipping - I prefer PWE for cost sake.  I will use a bubble envelope for trades with higher end cards or with multiple patches but see the first note.  In either case, I would like the fill the envelope if possible.  If I am sending 4 card PWE, I can just as easily send 9 or 12 or 18 cards.  If I have a bubble with multiple patches, there is room for a lot more cards.

    - When a trade offer is something I am willing to consider, I may do a cursory check to make sure I have all the trade pieces.  This will give me a chance to do a quick once over on the cards.  If I spot any major issues with a card, I will let you know.  But I do not pull cards until I am ready to accept a trade offer.  When I pull a card, I do a more thorough check for issues.  If I identify an issue after I pull, I will do my best to notify you of the issue as soon as I can and offer potential remedies.

    - When I make an offer, I will do my best to follow these same guidelines.  Unless I am proposing a trade of something big for a lot of small items.  But then, that is my choice.

Finally, through trading I have been able to complete a number of sets that never thought I would finish so I want to thank all who have helped me.  I hope to be able to continue doing this going forward.

My collection is one that sparks joy to me. I have no rhythm or reason to it, each card brought joy to me and so it was added to the collection. My want list is cards that spark joy for me. My Want List is being re added to and will grow greatly over the next few weeks/months.

This hobby is my saving grace! I found it as a way to help my anxiety and the friendships I have made in this hobby are amazing! I truly appreciate everyone in this hobby!

I look forward to doing lots of trades here and getting these cards in your mailbox and collection where they belong!

One of my binder projects is a Topps Twins project and am mainly needing the vintage now, I am happy to add cards with character aka poor condition for the vintage cards. This project is to tell the story of the decades and what better way than to have character to the cards. That's for the vintage, I don't want 1990s cards that are rounded edges and ripped up.

My collection is valued at how much I'm smiling at the end of the day :)

Lower priority: Junior Seau, some Bo Jackson, Eric Lindros, Jordan Poyer, Mike Hass, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Jacoby Ellsbury, Steven Jackson, Nick Barnett, Matt Moore, Ochocinco/Chad Johnson, Sean Mannion, Johnny Hekker, Sam Gaviglio, Matt Boyd, any Oregon State alum/player in any sport (male or female).

PLEASE SEND TRADE OFFERS.  It's my favorite part of the hobby.  Always willing to negotiate a good deal for both sides.  One card, or 10+ cards.  I'm fine with any size.  USA & Canada only, unless the card is significant enough to me to ship overseas.

I do NOT collect/keep any other cards of any other players/teams.  If the card isn't a unique card to me of one of my guys above, it's not something I will keep.  I don't want duplicates either.  I'll trade it or sell it if it's something I think I can move; otherwise, no thanks.  But I DO want any card of any of my PC guys if I don't already have it.  My trade/sell and want/wish lists are updated, so if it's not on those lists, it's highly unlikely that I'm interested in it, or I already own it.

Fan of: all OSU sports, Braves, Red Sox, Blazers, Chargers, Flyers, Timbers, Tottenham FC.

Goal for VINTAGE ONLY CARDS (condition NOT very important...just no rips/tears, no writing on the front...some creases ok...not really concerned with how the back looks): Hank Aaron (preferably in a Milwaukie uniform, but not required), Mickey Mantle pre-1969 (earlier the better), Babe Ruth any vintage year, Joe DiMaggio any year, Lou Gehrig any year, Ted Williams pre-1955, Jackie Robinson any year, Shoeless Joe any year, Jimmie Foxx any year, Satchel Paige any year, and Stan Musial pre-1960.  For basketball, would like a Alcindor while in Milwaukie, early Doctor J, Oscar, early Magic/Bird, Bill Russell, Wilt, David Thompson, Cousy, Mikan, Moses & maybe a couple others.  Prefer to stay as cheap as possible, but for the right card might go a little higher...obviously Mantle/Ruth/Joe D/Wilt and those types would be more.  Again, condition I know won't be great at these prices.  I now have a Hank, Mantle, Jackie, Clemente, Yogi, Bob Gibson, Ernie Banks, Sandy Koufax, Mays, Jerry West, Maravich and Gervin at these levels, and a couple of Ted Williams, that I'm very happy with.  But the more the merrier if the price is right!

    • I will typically send cards via PWE unless the quantity is above 20 and then I will send BMWT.  If you wish a smaller trade to be sent BMWT, please let me know & adjust the trade accordingly.

VERY willing to trade/negotiate.  I live to  trade...send me ALL trade requests!  Would prefer trades to purchases, although I know my PC is pretty limited in the grand scheme of things.  Just got back to the hobby in 2020 after approx 30 years out of it, and about 20 years after selling off 99% of it to pay for our wedding.  I forgot how much I loved it!

Hello: I joined this site in March 2021. I'm still putting my cards that I have into this website. I'm still organizing all my cards so it will take me some time to input them into this web site. I'm willing to make a trade if I need cards to complete a set.

The trades that I have done have gone very smoothly. The trades I've made so far have been PWE (Plain White Envelope) shipping.

    I'm a set builder:

If you are a buyer check out my "For Sale Only Cards". All the cards in this collection are for sale. I'm still organizing my cards to put in this collection. The following complete sets are for sale:

    1987 Topps

    1987 Topps - Glossy All-Star

1988 Donruss - Stan Musial Puzzle

1989 Donruss - Warren Spahn Puzzle

1992 Donruss - Rod Carew Puzzle

1991 Upper Deck - Baseball Heroes: Nolan Ryan

1991 Upper Deck - Team Logo Holograms

    2007 Topps -All Stars

Down the road I'm looking to sell all my cards. At my age (late 60's) it's about the that time to sell all my cards. Hopefully there are people on this site that buys cards.

    Have a great day.

Only looking for Baseball in trades. Also will eventually be looking to complete my dad's Baltimore Orioles collection. Have only entered about 1% of that collection so far. As a child going to card shows with my dad are my best memories with him.

Haven't collected since mid-90s but want to go back and complete my sets from 1970s-90s. Please be patient with me and if you think my trade offer is unreasonable, please let me know. I'm not trying to pull anything shady. I just am not really in-tune with today's market values yet. I want to work with you and my biggest goal is to maintain a perfect rating with my trades.

Can't wait to connect with other collectors out there

    I LOVE TO TRADE!

        I LOVE TO TRADE!

I collect Chicago Cubs team sets. Currently I have base sets from 1951 - present (mostly Topps). Right now I'm collecting other brands and non-base sets. I love those junk wax era cards.

Prefer PWE trades!  But not a requirement.

Trades of any size are welcome!

I'm very easy to work with. I don't have any rules. So anything and everything is up for consideration.

I promptly respond to all offers.

    1987 Topps set - 100% Complete - 99.9% Total set

    1991 Topps set - 98% Complete

    1992 Topps set - 92.8% Complete

I have many NBA cards to trade for MLB, NFL.

I also collect anything Baltimore. Orioles, Ravens. I am collecting Colorado Rockies cards for my 11 yr old son also.

I am limiting trades to only Canada and US. Please try to keep international trades to PWE,

    VAR, ERR, and COR cards:

If there are multiple Variations of a card I am only looking to collect one of those Variations. If there are Error and Corrected cards I collect both of those cards for my collection.

Hi!  My name is Joe Schuld.  I'm 62 YO and I live in NJ.  I am married and have 6 children ranging from 29 YO to 18.  I work as a limo driver so my working hours are not the regular 9-5.  I am also an avid bowler ( bowling in leagues and coaching high school ) as well as trying to do some family geneolgy.  I say this because these are reasons why I am pulled away from tcdb.  I am a lifelong collector who only found tcbd during the pandemic/lockdown.  For years I used ebay but got turned off to them and their handling of Paypal.  I find myself buying less and less these days because of the constant rising prices of new material.

I am more of a set collector than anything although my favorite baseball player is Don Mattingly and my favorite football player is Phil Simms.  I'm a lifelong NY Giants fan and a fan of the Boston Red Sox but I don't necessarily collect any of these per se.  If you have something that catches my interest, we can talk.

I have 10's of thousands of cards available for trade but I am pathetically slow in getting everything loaded here on tcdb.  My want list of sets ( which covers baseball, football, basketball and some non-sports ) is several pages long which is why I haven't loaded it here yet.  Still working on that.

I am more than willing to trade in your favor and will gladly send any items first.  If I learned anything during the lockdown, I realized that my kids don't care one bit about my collection.  So I am very happy to trade away to complete the unfinished sets I have piled up over the years.

    Thanks!

    Joe

I enjoy collecting football and baseball sets all major manufactures Topps, Fleer, Leaf, Upper Deck, Score (that all I can think of right now) 1970's to present,

I have also started a collection of my favorite NHL team the Nashville Predators.

Set building is my major goal condition is secondary. I do not mind a small crease or a rounded corner if a card is needed to complete a set.

I do not grade cards but I will let you know if a card has an obvious flaw before I accept the trade.

I do not mind PWE trades. I always ship in bubble mailers and with tracking if the budget permits. That is my personal preference I do not require or ask it to be yours.

Always looking for Bryce Harper cards I don't have. If you have some, send me a message or offer.

I am NOT selling or trading any cards in my collection.

I send a lot of proposals out and usually don't ever get many. Always feel free to counter.

Pretty much always willing to trade. Usually prefer PWE trades but will always consider bigger. The most cards I've sent in a trade so far has been around 50. Would like to break that record!

Always let me know if you are missing a card or receive a wrong/damaged card because I would get replacements for you. I will always make things right.

I should have all VAR cards listed correctly. Let me know if you receive a wrong one.

I will also be interested in memorabilia, autograph, or serial numbered Phillies cards. Haven't added them to my wantlist yet and don't plan to but might at some point.

I am slowly tracking my WHOLE Phillies collection which will be a long process as I am still trying to figure out how to organize them.

I have lots of numbered/auto cards on my trade list, which I can get rid of pretty easily. Just recently, I made sure my fs/t list was organized and up to date. Haven't added many cards to it recently but hope to sometime.

Haven't bought anything on this site yet and don't really plan to, but I might change my mind.

Would be willing to sell. If we can't work out a trade we can work out a sale. Send me an offer on what you want, I will give you a fair price on them.

Baltimore Orioles cards of all stripes and flavors!

    Sub-collections include:

    • Cards featuring The Bird, the Orioles' mascot
    • Cards featuring Oriole Park at Camden Yards or Baltimore's Memorial Stadium
    • Cards or Stickers focusing on the Orioles logo
    • Canadian-produced (or Japanese, Venezuelan, British...) cards of the Orioles
    • Cards produced by the Star Company featuring Orioles players
    • Weird unlicensed Orioles cards from the junk wax era
    • Topps Opening Day cards featuring Orioles players

I'm good with PWE trading. Big or small trades can both be rewarding. I'll always aim to make sure it's an even trade where everyone is happy!

At the end of the day, all of this should be FUN.

SEP 28 2023 UPDATE: I'm taking a step away from trading for the foreseeable future. This means I'll only be checking in every once in a while (once a week or less) over the next few months. Feel free to submit offers to me if you are okay with being patient. You can also find cards of mine for sale on my eBay page. IF and ONLY IF, you are interested in purchasing a card of mine (ie NOT A TRADE OFFER) send over an offer or dm with the subject line of Interested in Buying or something similar. I'll prioritize those messages I come across as best I can. All other trade offers will be addressed as quickly as possible but may take time. Thanks and happy collecting!

    Cheers! - Alex

FWIW... / FYI... I enjoy being on the site and trading with all of you. Please be patient with me though as I have a family, job and life I prioritize above baseball cards.

Looking to sell the majority or my trade list, so I'm throwing together lots, and listening to offers, so please DM me or send me an offer if you're looking to buy.

please confirm all cards before sending or accepting a trade with me. While stuff happens sometimes, I always confirm cards before preceding with a deal, and have that same expectation.  Additionally, please alert me if you won't be sending your trades within a few days of confirming a deal. I always send within a day, and the rare times I can't, I communicate it. So I expect the same. Simple courtesy folks.

Willing to sell stuff as well if no trade can be worked out. Must have a positive transaction history, and a pay method that protects both. Prefer any deal of this nature to be a minimum of $20 to make it worth the time. Willing to do large lots or single cards.

Due to work, will likely respond to trades/messages on weekends

Yes, I’m in Canada but don’t let that stop you from sending offers. We can keep the shipping down through a PWE. It doesn’t need to be expensive.  I have helped a few members out, who were hesitant to ship to Canada. All agreed it was easy and cheap. Any questions just reach out.

    TRADING

    Overview

    • Trades only. I don't buy or sell cards on the TCDB.
    • U.S. TRADES ONLY. Shipping outside of the U.S. is expensive.
    • I have 50,300+ different cards listed for trade (I don't list multiples). Fair, base-for-base, trades are welcome, especially in bulk. As a set collector, there are a lot of base cards on my want list. Having a large number of base cards on my want list makes it difficult to line up one-for-one trades for requested inserts, stickers, or non-base cards, especially in bulk. If you're asking for inserts or non-base cards, please offer cards that are similar.
    • Let's communicate to make sure both parties have all cards available and in acceptable condition BEFORE either of us commits to hitting the "Accept" button. It's a mess trying to fix errors for damaged or missing cards after accepting.
    • I'd like to stay within the same decade for vintage trades: 50s for 50s, 60s for 60s, and 70s for 70s. For 80s and later cards, it's not as important. Also, I'm OK with trading across sports or for non-sport if you are.
    • I love to trade, but if I have more than 10 transactions going at once, I will momentarily turn off my incoming trade proposals to let the queue clear before turning it back on. I thank you for your patience and understanding.
    • If you are a team or player collector and we have a large trade going, please take into consideration that it will take me a longer amount of time to pull your cards spread out over many different boxes and locations, especially if variations are involved, as opposed to pulling cards all from the same set located in one box.

    Condition and Variations

    • For trades involving pre-1980s cards, expect to exchange images of cards to verify condition. Everyone's standard varies on what is acceptable condition. Exchanging photos solves this so both of us can determine if the condition of the cards being exchanged is preferred by both parties.
    • For 50s-70s vintage cards coming my way, I'd prefer cards without tears, heavy scuffs, surface damage, writing, heavy creases breaking the surface, severely rounded corners, holes, wax stains, or part(s) of the card missing. Everything later than 1980 I'd expect to be near-mint or mint condition. Again, I'm open to exchanging images of cards to verify condition, especially for vintage cards.
    • If offering cards with dark borders such as 2001, 2002, 2003, or 2007 Topps cards, please ensure that they do not have surface damage from bricking (snow) or edge chipping. Thank you.
    • I make every effort to enter the correct variations. If you are a variation collector, please ask and I will verify that the variations are correct. For me, the only sets that I'm concerned about receiving the correct variations for are the 1981 Fleer, 1991 Topps, and 2012 Topps sets that I'm trying to complete master sets of.

    • The bigger, the better! I'm trying to complete sets while helping you to complete yours, so large fair trades are welcome! My biggest single trade so far has been 3,509 cards: 2024 TCDB Site Award: Largest Trade. We can top that, right?
    • I use the Trade Matching feature often to propose large trades. If you're on the top of my match list, don't be surprised if you get a large trade offer from me. I'm trying knock out sets while helping you with yours.
    • For Plain White Envelope (PWE), I prefer to trade 15 or more cards to make it worth the postage unless the cards involved are of higher value or vintage cards.
    • 15 to 24 Cards: PWE, unless you prefer otherwise.
    • 25 to 48 Cards: Two PWEs (because getting TWO envelopes full of cards in the mailbox is better than getting only one!).
    • 49+ Cards: Team bags in a plastic bubble mailer, or a 200ct to 500ct card box. All larger trades will have a USPS tracking number sent to you in a transaction message.
    • I try to mail out as soon as possible. When work is crushing my soul, I will let you know my mailing is delayed. Apologies in advance.

Thank you for reading my profile and stopping by!

Collecting: I collect Topps flagship baseball mostly working on my vintage sets now, Bowman base, Pro Debut, and Qypsy Queen. Depending on my cardboard addiction I will dabble in inserts and parallels but usually I just trade them away. Autos will ALWAYS take priority in trades with me and I will trade multiple cards for a single auto.

Shipping: I usually only ship once a week typically on Friday. All trades sent by me will arrive in a padded envelope with tracking. I'm totally fine with receiving PWE, though. Unfortunately I am forced to have to decline international trades as I've had too many cards either held in or damaged by Customs. Sorry about that, Blue Jays fans.

Purchasing: Maybe. 99.9% of my interactions here will be trades but I will buy autos or more expensive one-offs to finish a set if it's reasonable.

I turned off trades for the time being. I want to add a grade value for my vintage cards for trade and would like to have the time to do that so you can get a better idea of a potential trade. (11/15/22) I hope to have it up to date by the new year.

    All Topps cards are correct!

    1981-1992 Donruss are loaded correctly

For your frame of mind. I keep my PC in a binder. I'm grading these on my eye test and I tend to grade a little lower. Most of my VG/EX might be actually EX. So, if you really need a card and want to see the condition I'm happy to scan it in for you.

I didn't get it finished. too many projects. But it's June I'll be sure to find what I say I have, and continue to update as I go.

Thanks for visiting my page, I've got a bit of a problem, I'm trying to collect any set that I have more than 50% of the set collected already. So if you see that we have a match on a rather weird card, or sticker, yes I do want it.

I PC - Don Mattingly, I do have a lot of his cards but odd balls, numbered cards, and some from 2020 that I've slacked on I still need.

Variants, Variants, Variants, all brands. I'm looking at "junk era cards right now".

Also check out my football card wants. Especially 1990 Pro Set Variants.

I'm happy to trade or sell my doubles. I've got boxes of them I'm ready to move.

    Trades only!

Top Priority: Tom Glavine (#5 on TCDb) and Trea Turner (#2 on TCDb) and the main Braves stars from past and present.

Just getting my sons started with their own collections. Looking for any braves for them, especially Strider, Riley, and Acuna.

Less actively looking for former NC State Wolfpack (Philip Rivers, Carlos Rodon, Will Wilson, Patrick Bailey, Torry Holt, Jerricho Cotchery, Nyheim Hines, Ickey Ekwonu, TJ Warren, David Thompson, Andrew Brackman, any others).

Always up for a fair trade, so if I have something you like, send me a proposal.  Prefer PWE deals but can make any work.  Will send PWE unless specifically agreed to do BMWT.  I'm usually able to get cards in the mail on Tuesdays and Thursday.  Happy to trade from my standard collection too if the deal is right.

*Several of the junk wax variations may be incorrect, so let me know if that's important to you and I'll verify before proceeding. Pre-1990 cards may or may not be in Mint condition.  I'll pull and verify before accepting to let you know.  Most are just fine.

I try to be as fair as possible with offers and hope you will too.  If something I send seems off, it's unintentional and I'm always happy to counter/adjust to find something that works for us both.  Thanks!

Thanks for reading my profile. I enjoy trading cards I don't need for those that I do. I've been in this hobby for many years (I remember opening 1955 Bowman packs at our local candy store)! I usually don't pull my end before making a proposal; most times, I'm trying to get a feel for how doable it is, and it saves me from having to refile cards if things fizzle out or if I'm countered.  I will, however, (usually) pull before accepting a trade.  Please counter, if need be!  Communication is key to good trading!   I have some physical limitations..it may take me a bit to pull cards so your patience is appreciated!

      1.  My top priority is completing sets.

      2.  Recent Phillies teamsets and inserts.  I do multiple teamsets to help local Philthies Phans!

      3. Older Phillies teamset needs..all brands.

As mentioned, I love to trade, will reluctantly sell ... cheap, if we cannot swap!  PLMK what I have that you can't live without!  Phillies is my team, through thick and (mostly) thin!  PWE trades are great and assumed unless we agree otherwise - bubbles used if worth the shipping costs!  Slowing down though - the old body won't let me hoss those 5000 count boxes too much - thanks in advance for your patience with me!!
