Current project is trying to get at least one card of everyone to ever get one for NBA, NHL and NASCAR. Also working on getting at least one example of every set ever for the above sports. (Wantlists on Cardboard History)

At the moment, attempting to dial back on the hobbies so I can fulfill my lifelong dream of classic car ownership.

I have some health problems that make it challenging for me to get to my trade stash. It makes me a slow trader as there are some days when I'm simply in too much pain to access the boxes. My health problems are not transferable so you do not need to fear catching anything from trading with me.

Still need to enter Starting Lineups.  I enjoy collecting autographs, tennis, basketball, football, Olympic sports, and baseball.  Non-sport cards in my "collection" could likely be available if there's something you're looking for.

Variation Opinion Section:

With 1989, 1990, 1991, & 1992 Donruss, I only want 1 copy of each card number; I have recently tried to put the "for trade" ones in the right variation, but those are likely not 100% accurate.  Same for 1987 Topps Football, 1991 Topps Football, 1992 Topps Kids, 1992 Leaf Black Gold, and most UD hologram backs.

With 1990 Topps Football, I would like both the disclaimer and non-disclaimer backs, so the variation is important and I have kept those "for trade" ones accurate.

With Brewers & Packers Police sets, I do not care which municipality the card is from, I just want 1 of each player.  I have not tried especially hard to put the "for trade" ones in the right variation, but if you'd like me to check specific ones, I'll do that.

I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

Robin Yount, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Braves. I especially like Brewers police cards -- all the varieties and municipalities are the kind of obsessive type of collecting that I tend to like. So, I'll take any of those variations that I don't have, whether they are on a wantlist or not.

Otherwise, I used to write blogs but I got too busy with work for that. I used to trade a lot more too, but my wife's health has declined lately so I don't have a ton of time for that right now either. She used to take my packages to the post office for me but now she can't.

My old "Off Hiatus" blog has a ton of want lists and the like that I'm trying to phase out by entering my collection here at TCDB. I spend more time on Twitter than anywhere else these days, and I'm also a member of the SABR Baseball Cards Committee.

My Twitterati friends and I have Zoom calls intermittently where we just get together to shoot the breeze and talk about cards. We have anywhere from 5 to 25 people who have jumped on these calls at any one point in time. They are a lot of fun.

I’ve been collecting cards for over 45 years and have over 294,000 unique cards in my main collection, including some nice vintage stuff.  I collect older cards of the four major sports but lately I've been expanding to some more recent sets.
I'm primarily a Set Builder and I’m looking for other like-minded set builders to trade with.   I’ve accumulated tons of extra cards that I would like to trade away with over 195,000 cards in my current For Trade list.  To date, I've completed over 1,160 trades exchanging over 150,000 cards.  Big trades don't bother me. I have a huge Want List, so hopefully you have something I need.  Feel free to make me an offer. 

Note on Donruss Variations:
At the moment I can't guaranty the junk Donruss/Leaf cards are listed with the correct variation.  I'm in the process of relisting these cards correctly, but with over 6,000 of them, it will take a while.  Please be patient.

Note on Vintage Cards:
I have over 7,500 vintage cards listed for trade (I consider vintage to be 1977 or earlier).  For each card I've noted a condition grade and if you check closer, a note on each regarding any condition issues (be sure to select the correct one if multiple cards are shown).  Please note that I'm by no means a professional grader and if you're hyper-sensitive on card condition, please message me first and I'd be happy talk about it.  In exchange for these cards I have three priorities:

• 1) similar vintage cards that I need (any sport)
• 2) inserts for my 90s sets that I need (any sport)
• 3) or non-junk era base cards that i need as a last resort (any sport)

Note on Card Condition: A card noted as Pr, Fr, Gd, or GdVg will have some obvious condition issues such as creasing, corner wear, or marks.  I would consider them place holders in a collection at best (I've listed them because some people do want place holders).  A VG card will usually be a clean card with some corner wear or a centering issue.  For me, VG would be the bare minimum for my personal collection.  EX will be nice sharp card and VgEx will be something just between VG and Ex, still a nice card with a small issue that prevents it from being EX.  NM in vintage is a tough find.

One of my binder projects is a Topps Twins project and am mainly needing the vintage now, I am happy to add cards with character aka poor condition for the vintage cards. This project is to tell the story of the decades and what better way than to have character to the cards. That's for the vintage, I don't want 1990s cards that are rounded edges and ripped up.

I started collecting in 1990 and I primarily collect my favorite Astros players (past and present). I enjoy collecting football and baseball sets all major manufactures Topps, Fleer, Leaf, Upper Deck, Score (that all I can think of right now) 1970's to present, 

I have also started a collection of my favorite NHL team the Nashville Predators.

Set building is my major goal condition is secondary. I do not mind a small crease or a rounded corner if a card is needed to complete a set. 

I do not grade cards but I will let you know if a card has an obvious flaw before I accept the trade. 

I do not mind PWE trades. I always ship in bubble mailers and with tracking if the budget permits. That is my personal preference I do not require or ask it to be yours.

I trade away all duplicates, inserts, and cards from sets I don't plan on completing.

The condition of my for-trade cards are VG and worse for 1971, 72, 75 and typically EX for 1974 and cards between 1976 and 1990.  Cards 1991 and newer are typically NrMt.  

I'm building lower-grade 1971 and 72 sets, so I'm looking for cards in G to VG condition.

I am back trading  Life decided to get in the way but will keep trading to keep everything as fun as possible for my sons and I. I am making them help me with trades as to help with home schooling and cause we enjoy spending time and doing it together. Bright spot of the day is when trade comes in so they can pull the cards and help verify the condition and if the count is correct.

3. Complete 10 sets (currently sitting at 8 that are 95% or more complete, so should be attainable)

4. As always, add the Reggie rookie to the collection

5. Build 2021 Topps in the Royal Blue parallel

Condition is important but not essential. Definitely don't want pin holes, writing, or missing paper. I will do my best to verify and alert of any condition issues on my end, I ask that you please do as well.

Football: Only have 79-83, and 2003-2006, but looking to build that soon too.
