3/10/23 - TRADERS - if you don’t mind, pls provide me with your Instagram handle in a message within the trade or on your PWE, so I can give ya a shout out and so we can follow each other 😎✌🏻 I’ve began posting my daily TCDB hauls, and I’d like to put a handle with the post, thanks in advance!

FELLOW COLLECTORS - I LOVE my late 80's-mid 90's basketball and football cards, 89 nba hoops being my favorite to rip as a 11-12 yr old hoops junkie...now that i have completed my sets for 89 AND 90 nba hoops sets, i am on the hunt to find the announcer/special checklist cards card for these same years, as well as finishing up my (innagural years) 90 skybox basketball and 91 upper deck basketball sets, I also started putting together my birth year’s 1977 Topps basketball and my son’s birth year 2011 NBA Hoops basketball sets, i also collect individual players:

Magic Johnson

Larry Bird

Chris Mullin

Hakeem Olajuwon

Jason Kidd

Pete Maravich

I am a huge Kentucky Wildcat hoops fan, so i am sometimes partial to and open to collecting players who played there for even 1 year (from Pitino's bombinos to Cal's one and doners), only UK jersey cards

I also am collecting former NFL stars:

Barry Sanders

Ed Reed

Larry Fitzgerald

and current NFL players:

*DERRICK HENRY* (# 1 on TCDB, last time I checked)

Patrick Mahomes

Travis Kelce

Josh Allen

Tyrann Mathieu

DK Metcalf

Justin Tucker

My 11 year old son also has started collecting, so I trade for him as well, as he is a basketball junkie like his pops:

he LOVES/LOVED Kobe Bryant (his personal GOAT)

Lebron James

Anthony Davis

Giannis

Dame Time

The (3) Curry's

and other current NBA super stars

***I prefer to do trades of 18-27 (ish) cards or less (please, no deals smaller than 4-6 cards each, to BOTH get our money's worth on postage) to allow me to safely place 2-3 cards (max) per slot on a 9 slot folded, sleeved page to be sent between 2 pieces of (painter's) taped cereal board in a long PWE, to be able to use a standard stamp and avoid large shipping cost, however, we can do larger trades if need be, no problem, as this is just what i have found works most efficiently since i have been on this site...i am always game for shipping tricks, so please feel free to share them wih me anytime!***

*** CONDITION -  like some of your FST lists, please do not expect older cards (mainly baseball and football, 1990 and prior) to be in 'grading' condition, as these have seen 30+ years of exchanging ownership, and appear that way as well, however, they are more than suitable for PCs and set completion, but, if you have questions about a particular card on my FST list prior to agreeing to a trade, please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you would like to see photos of those card/s prior to our trade being agreed upon

*** VARIATION/ERROR cards - some of the variations.error cards (especially baseball, Donruss comes to mind) are not listed correctly, as it is very tedious to input, based on small, not so visible * and/or letters on older cards, so, please advise me on the deal proposal or counter if are seeking a particular variation/error card and i will confirm ASAP if i have that one you are seeking

***COUNTER OFFERS - During a counter offer, I will generally never remove any cards you are requesting on your side of the deal, unless I realize the card is no longer in my inventory, however, in the event I do feel I need to remove something, I WILL advise you which card is being removed, so you are fully aware before moving forward on the deal..no funny business going on here, AND, I expect the same thing, I respect and follow good, honest business practice, and would greatly appreciate and expect the same-no smoke and mirrors...

***I pride myself on being a QUICK trader, normally getting your cards out by the next AM at the latest, so please respect me and do the same, thanks in advance! ***

11/26/22 Back to work through January 1, so no new trades until January. If you sent me an offer already I will work on them when I can in the next couple weeks and I am sure we can work something out. DO NOT SEND ME TRADES UNTIL JANUARY, I can't shut off trades on the system until I finish existing ones. Thanks Art

I will do my best to respond quickly but life does get in the way of cards.  Please be patient. Going forward I am going to doublecheck all trades to ensure I can find the card you want. I always know it is here but sometimes I simply can't find it. I know I put it on my trade list so I have held it in the last year but sometimes they get up and walk to another part of my room. It's never the rare cards but the .20 cards that run around. LOL. I have added a bunch of cards in the last few months so please check my tradelist for matches. If you want one of the autographs or colored cards or SPs I have listed, a great way to get them is to offer me Giants cards of the same set/rarity even if they are not on my want list. I always love Giants cards. Go Giants Go Rivercats!!

I reached my first goal of 5,000 different San Francisco Giants cards. Thanks!! My current goal is to reach 10,000 different SF Giants cards. Thanks in advance. Large trades, small trades and everything in between. Happy to trade football and basketball for baseball. Happy to browse your trade list for cards I would like if you see something on my tradelist but don't see a match right away. I enjoy finding cards or insert cards that I never heard of but I find interesting or cool. I will sell a card from time to time so make me an offer. (Probably not a Giant in my collection though).

I love this site. Really enjoying getting to know some of my trade partners. Thanks.

Note: I have decided to only go to the Post Office Monday morning. I pack safely and securely and hope you will do the same. 17 more states to go as well as some more Canadian provinces (prefer smaller PWE trades with Canada due to postage expense).

I have decided to work on Heritage cards 2001 - 2022. Also always looking to add SF Giants players 2002 to 2020. I have learned that it is best to trade SP for SP rather than commons but I have done some 10 card for 100 card trades where we are both happy so that works too. I enjoy going through trade lists and seeing what I find even if they are not on my wantlist.  If you are reading this I hope there is a trade in our future. Thanks again. Art

Prestige 2021 and 2022

Only here to Trade or Sell.

Any of my older cards that are for sale have been filtered to remove at least those which are in really bad shape but be advised that they were stored in a shoebox in the attic for decades and some may have rounded corners or slight creases.

Some of my cards for trade from the mid 90s that were prone to bricking do have some surface damage from sticking together. Again, if it's anything more than slightly marked I'll either have it noted or mention it before they ship.

Will be traveling on and off for work so I will try to catch up with trades when I'm home. I appologize in advance for any delays!

got to turn trading off for a about a month. I'll be back on 4/10

trading only, not selling.  minimum trade 4-6 cards to make the postage worthwhile

USA only for bubble mailer trades / USA + Canada only for PWE trades

master set building [see below] and a few player collections [see below] and

building a variety of base sets, parallel sets and insert sets from other years & brands

trying to improve my organization, it's a struggle

9/10/21 - I'm not really a vintage collector, and have no 50's-60's, yet I do have a lot of  vintage adjacent 70's - early 80's-late 80's junk wax -early 90's in good condition.  I'm slowly adding them here. When I first addd 88 Topps, I started getting overwhelmed by trade matching with members who are not active on the site, or vintage only collectors, and no chance of a trade match.  I had to dial it back.  I have entered almost all of my above referenced material as PC.  If you are a vintage collector of this era, and see that I have multiple copies of a card, and you want/ need it, I will be happy to trade the extra you.  every card of this era, regardless of BV, has a minimum value of 50 cents to me.  please don't ask for a single card, request a 1 for 1 trade, and tell me that the card you want is worth a nickle, and you are offering a card worth 5 cents in return.

edit 11/29/20 - If you want something from me, but can't find cards to trade, that hit my want list, I will  be happy to try to work something out with Mike Trout, Albert Pujols, Adrian Beltre, Christian Yelich, Mookie Betts & Mark McGwire

TCDb ranking - players

Shawn Green #1 - [half of which are MEM & AU]

Mark McGwire #13 - and climbing slowly

Albert Pujols #27 - and climbing slowly

Adrian Beltre - #10 and climbing

Sets - I believe I am #1 in the following "master set" building [including all auto, relic, insert & parallel sets]

2012 Topps baseball

2012 Topps Chrome baseball

2012 Topps On line exclusive mini baseball

2012 Prizm baseball

2001 Fleer Platinum

Aloha to all!

*****************************************

Inventory levels are at nice, comfortable levels, as several  hundred cards were doled out to the kids last year but I was happily able to acquire many many more over the past couple years. Would like to make a little more headway on completing my vintage sets, as they took a back seat to picking up modern cards for the kids.  So please let me know if you have any of my '69-'76 needs and are ready to trade. Since all the kids are clamoring for Ohtani and my inventory levels are pretty good for most everything else, I will try to pick up as many affordable Ohtanis you are willing to trade away, then expand any trade from there.

******************************************

It has been a wonderful, busy, and fulfilling few years here!  In the past, I had to get creative in order to generate interest amongst my various little leaguers.  As most of my inventory consisted of players’ cards from before most of the kids were born.  Thanks to the traders here, Ive been able to distribute a bountiful amount of cards to the kids accompanied by a huge amount of joy!

Although the Altuve/Judge card (18T Update #79) has become too pricey to give to all of my Little Leaguers, it still remains one of my favorites. It looks just like a pic I have of 2 12-yr olds on one my former teams.  It’s a great inspirational card for the smaller kids.  Similarly, I can use an unlimited supply of Jim Abbott cards. Most every kid has a bad day in the field at some point in a season, practices/games..., so I’ll give them an Abbott card and ask them to look closely at it to tell me what they see (so no portrait poses or cards where it's hard to see he's missing a hand). Have yet to find a kid that isn't amazed!

------------------------------------------------

Slowly transitioning out of football and basketball to focus on baseball.  Primarily building sets from childhood days, working my way back in time. Current primary focus is on completing 1968, 1969, 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1976 Topps baseball sets. I will always consider trading my 80s/90s inventory for modern all-star cards, I give them away to the 5-14 yr old kids on the little league teams I coach here in Hawaii.  But since we don’t have MLB here, the young kids won’t recognize the names unless they’re all-stars or Kolten Wong/Kiner-Talefa/Ohtani(I coached a couple seasons with Kolten/Kean's uncle and Isiah’s dad).  I basically use the tcdb pricing to balance out trades, not due to any preference, but for lack of anything else. I've heard alot of static about others trumpeting COMC, eBay, & Beckett, which is perfectly ok/understandable, but in almost every case, when referring to tcdb their trades come out heavily in their favor(have yet to see one the other way around).  I’m pretty open to all trades, but like trades to be fairly reasonable.  If a trade involves cards with large discrepancies in pricing, please don't be offended.  Point them out, and the trade can be adjusted or cards removed.

For those of you like me with monster boxes of 80’s/90’s, I will trade for multiples of 12-18 of HOFers or team/all-time record holders (as long as I can ask the little leaguers a relevant trivia question so the card can be a reward). Just message me, as I would not list such cards on my wantlist.

For traders who are missing 1 or 2 cards after accepting a trade, please make an effort to substitute with something similar.

Quote:   For 1971 and earlier, I am looking for EX+, 1970s - EX/MT+, 1980s-modern - NM+. Please let me know what your grade standards are for 1970s and earlier cards.Everything I have listed FT from 1980 to modern is EX/NM+.I have other unlisted 60s/70s in VG/EX.

Turning off trading for a little while. Need to get organized.

First off, I am no longer accepting PWE trades and will ship only via bubble mailer or, for extremely large trades, USPS flat rate box.

Secondly, I would llike to finish these sets as most of them have been languishing for some time (obviously not the 2020 sets). The '98 Showcase Row 0 will be the hardest to finish off as the 5 remaining cards I need are #'d to 250. I am still working on my Arkansas Born Players Collection and my Chicago Cubs Collection

I prefer the set fills first over the personal collections for now, but will consider the personal collections as I do not have any, basketball or racing sets I am working on at the moment and I know I haven't made the sets a focus in the time I have been on here to this point. I also realize that not everyone does just baseball or any other sport either, hence why I will consider the personal collection stuff. I may end up working on '20 Topps A&G Minis at some point.

Working on these sets:

Baseball:

Hello fellow traders. Used to have a long message but cut it down to the basics. When trading, I am looking for NM cards unless we talk about it prior. No writing, creases or banged up corners. Vintage is a bit different as I will take VG-EX or better in most cases. I am looking for the specific variation that you have listed so please make sure or LMK that you are not going to look as you don't care for variations (I get it.) and we will not include it in the trade. PWE or package trades welcome. Will trade PWE to Canada. Please make the trade worth the postage.

I am a METS team collector. (#5 on TCDB) Looking hard for any David Wright (#3 on TCDB) cards that I do not have. But I also build some sets and have my PC players.

Rickey Henderson, Ken Griffey Jr., Cal Ripken Jr., Carl Yastrzemski who were the heroes of my youth/young adulthood.

Also, Will Clark, Buster Posey, Clayton Kershaw, Bryce Harper and Mike Trout as a trade filler as these are not as important at the moment.

LOOKING HARD FOR THE FOLLOWING TO COMPLETE THESE BASEBALL SETS.

1991 Topps master set (1087/1160)

2015 Topps Heritage SP

2019 Stadium Club Chrome Insert set (33/90)

2020 Topps Gallery (187/200)

2021 Topps Gypsy Queen (308/386)

I listed my basketball, football and hockey cards. I do not collect so will trade for baseball or sell. If looking to buy, shoot me a message with what you need and what you are willing to pay for it. No offer is unreasonable, but it may not be accepted.

Primarily I am a Minnesota Twins collector. Secondarily I am a set builder, mainly Topps baseball. I also collect Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Wild.

When it comes to trades, I ship almost exclusively in PWE - I'm meticulous in packaging (I use cereal box like material in every envelope w/ blue painters tape on all four sides. Envelopes are sealed with clear packing tape).

Ideal trade size is 1 to 18 cards and even up to 27 cards in a PWE too. All trades more than 27 will be jewel cased in a bubble mailer.

Please take a look at my want lists and for sale/trade lists and let me know if you'd like to work a trade. I'm constantly updating my collections, want lists and for sale/trade lists, so check back often.

Interesting Fact about me: My parents used to work for the company that packaged Score, Playoff, Pinnacle, Cardz, Sportsflix and Pokémon cards in the 1980's and 1990's.

I'm building a house so I have to put my cards in storage for a while.  I'll be unable to trade for a while.

I collected cards from 1980-94.  I'm just got started on TCDB in April of 2021.

I have many cards to sell or trade & would love to help you complete your sets.

I'm fine with PWE for small trades, but I love to make big trades.

I'm trying to finish my 79 Topps and 81 & 83 Fleer sets.

I'm also looking to finish off a few random inserts here and there as well as my Isiah Thomas & Steve Yzerman PC.

There are a few cards on my want list that have VAR C or D trademarks.  I don't care about that.  I just want the card of the player.

If sending trade proposals and basing them off of the above players/teams, I'm working backwards from newest to oldest, unless it's something pricey. I will sell but Paypal G/S only. Will buy or sell cards as well and I am a partner at an LCS that focuses on singles so if you're looking for specific cards, teams, players, ect. please let me know! Those will mostly only be available for sale though unless we can make a bulk deal to replinish inventory!

Any and all Braves cards from 1954 - Present (RIP Hank Aaron).

I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

Willing to trade just about anything for Braves cards......

As a child, I was obsessed with baseball cards, to the point that I could look at a card, any brand, any year, and tell you exactly the year and the best cards in that set. Now I'm 39 years old and the obsession is even worse (or better, depending on how you look at it).  Working for Topps would be a dream job at this point.

Things I collect:

  • Darryl Strawberry Cards
  • Current Year Topps Flagship and Chrome, along with their updates.
  • Other inserts and parallels that look cool.

Right now I’m mostly focusing on completing 2021 and 2022 Main set, Chrome and both updates as well as adding to the Strawberry collection (working on climbing the list).

My preference is to trade duplicates from 2021 and 2022 for cards that I need from those sets, but I’m willing to trade any number of them to get parallels and serial numbered cards.

All cards in my collection are available in the right deal! Every day, I'm adding more cards to my For Sale List, most of which are in great condition.  Any cards you might be interest in, I'll check out before finalizing a deal.

I prefer sending cards through PWE, so that I can make more trades, but will send in a Bubble Mailer if there are more than 20 cards, or a higher value card that is being moved.

I check this site a lot, so send trade offers away!

Not trading/selling any of my PC cards.

Selling cheap  you name the cards and a fair price. I'm easy to work with.   I like getting cards to people for their PC.

Like a lot of us here I have a lot of cards not listed.   Will try to list more players when asked to.

All sets that are listed here are for sale/trade.

Refocused my collecting. Willing to sell any cards on for sale/trade list or trade for the following:

Baseball:

  • George Brett (Top 2 in TCDB) - my primary collection...if you have something I need I am interested in trading for it. Tons of extra Brett stuff and others for trade for primary.
  • KC Royals

Football:

  • Derrick Thomas (Top 4 in TCDB)
  • KC Chiefs (Topps only)

Added a bunch of base Chiefs and Royals to my wantlist...these are intended to be trade fillers and not a primary focus for me. Priority will always be given to trades including the names listed above. Please do not send me a trade with multiple common Royals/Chiefs cards for stars.

***UPDATED 2/21/23***

Master baseball sets, vintage and modern, especially Fleer Greats of the Game, Topps Opening Day, and Topps vintage.

Trying to do a better job responding to trades.  Aug-Nov is tough for me, besides my regular job I also coach HS volleyball and tutor in the evenings, not leaving much time for cards.  I usually have to wait until the weekend to work on trades.

Looking for NM in trades.

In general, looking to trade similar era for similar era and similar types of cards for similar types.  Don't want a bunch of modern commons for vintage/inserts/SPs.  But there are exceptions to most rules.

Priority given to trades that include any of the following from my wantlist:

1999-2006 Greats of the Game (Includes 1999 Sports Illustrated Greats of the Game and 2003 Flair Greats)

1999-Present Topps Opening Day

1999-2001 Upper Deck Legends

2003 Bazooka

1999-2000 Fleer Tradition and Fleer Tradition Glossy

1999-2000 Upper Deck Black Diamond

1999-2000 Upper Deck MVP Silver Script parallels

I'm trading my left nut for the following One and Dones to complete master sets:

2000 Upper Deck Hitters Club Autographs:  Ripken  (not even sure if this exists, anyone have a scan of it)

2003 Flair Greats:  99 Conigliaro

2004 Fleer Greats of the Game Blue Parallel: 109 Thorpe

2005 Topps Opening Day Chrome:  4 Thome (not the Chrome Refractor)

2012 Topps Opening Day Autographs:  AC Andrew Cashner

A vintage baseball set collector for 40 plus years however I have started collecting modern San Francisco Giants HOF's and franchise players as well as modern versions of Mays, McCovey and Ted Williams.

I prefer post war cards to be crease free in the G to VGEX range and will accept lower conditions on pre war.  My 60,70 vintage will be crease free otherwise I will let you know.  I have vintage cards that have been appreciated but not always kept in sleeves and top loaders.  Don't expect perfectly sharp corners but I will typically let you know if they are rounded or bent.  I list cards I would have in my sets as a collector not an investor.

I typically prefer small trades that can be safely conducted PWE (typically 15 cards or less).   While I have many cards listed on my waitlist I do not need to check them off in one trade.  I have collecting priorities on which I focus and change over time.  Additionally, how much fun would that be if you cleared your want list list all at once.

I crack every slab I get and I haven't ripped any wax since 1994 so I don't have much shiny stuff to trade but I am always looking to help a fellow collector out with their projects because that is what the hobby is about.  While trading is a great way to enjoy the hobby, I am happy to sell cards at a fair price to fellow collectors.

3/9/23 Update >>> Reorganization is going well and I'm adding lots of cards.  But I'm going to need another two weeks or so to complete.  Thanks, Craig

2/20/23 Update >>> I need to take a break from trading to better organize my collection.  I hope this will only take 2-3 weeks.  I'll be back trading soon.  Craig

I’ve been collecting cards for over 46 years and have over 443,000 unique cards in my main collection, including some nice vintage stuff.  I collect older cards of the four major sports but lately I've been expanding to some more recent sets.  I'm primarily a Set Builder and I’m looking for other like-minded set builders to trade with.   I’ve accumulated tons of extra cards that I would like to trade away with almost 250,000 cards in my current For Trade list.  Big trades don't bother me. I have a huge Want List, so hopefully you have something I need.  Feel free to make me an offer.

For Canadian Traders: It's expensive for me to trade across the border.  Going forward I would like to limit cross border trades to two (2) PWEs. That's about 54 standard-size cards.  Thanks.

For Anyone Outside US/Canada: The increased postal rates have made it impossible for me to trade outside North America cheaply.  So going forward I will have to decline trades from outside US/Canada.  Sorry about that.

Update on Donruss/Leaf * Variations and Upper Deck Holo Variations:
I can't guaranty the junk wax era Donruss/Leaf cards and the UD holo variations are listed with the correct variation.  Going forward I will no longer check the variations on these cards.  If you want these cards regardless of the variations, feel free to request them in the trade.  Howver, If you want a specific variation of these cards, I'm no longer your guy - please don't put them in the trade request.  For all other cards that have variations, I will contniue to check and make sure you get the correct one.

Note on Vintage Cards:
I have over 6,000 vintage cards listed for trade (I consider vintage to be 1977 or earlier).  For each card I've noted a condition grade and if you check closer, a note on each regarding any condition issues (be sure to select the correct one if multiple cards are shown).  Please note that I'm by no means a professional grader and if you're hyper-sensitive on card condition, please message me first and I'd be happy talk about it.  In exchange for these cards I have three priorities:

  • 1) similar vintage cards that I need (any sport)
  • 2) inserts for my 90s sets that I need (any sport)
  • 3) or non-junk era base cards that i need as a last resort (any sport)

Note on Card ConditionA card noted as Pr, Fr, Gd, or GdVg will have some obvious condition issues such as creasing, corner wear, or marks.  I would consider them place holders in a collection at best (I've listed them because some people do want place holders).  A VG card will usually be a clean card with some corner wear or a centering issue.  For me, VG would be the bare minimum for my personal collection.  EX will be nice sharp card and VgEx will be something just between VG and Ex, still a nice card with a small issue that prevents it from being EX.  NM in vintage is a tough find.

Born in Minnesota, a Twins fan for sure!  Collected cards as a kid in the early 90's and let it go until just past Covid.  Gotten back into things and am working on 3 collections:

1.  Kirby Puckett '83 - '96

2.  1951 Bowman Set

3.  MLB HOF RCs

Puckett was always my guy as a kid, so it's fun going after his stuff.  I can't believe how many cards exist for him "post playing" career; I gotta avoid those for now or my lack of focus will kill me :).  The '51 Bowman hunt is purely because I think they are greatest looking cards ever created.  The HOF RC hunt is fun for sure!  As of 1/1/23 I'm almost complete back to 1960, but am always looking to upgrade those that aren't in great condition.  Happy to trade, help others hunt and have fun with the hobby!  I'm in Lincoln, NE now so if you've got Husker needs or KC wants, we've got a lot of that around here!

Shutting down trading for a little while. I need to catch up with a bunch of things, so I'm putting trading on the extreme back burner for a while. White Sox. More specifically, Paul Konerko, Frank Thomas, and Mark Buehrle, but all White Sox in general.

I have those listed in my collection, not For Sale/Trade, so If you are interested, take a look at the collection and send me a message.

Also, I am only Trading, not Buying or Selling. Things get messy with money. And, I don't want "Homework." Meaning, if you want to trade, send a trade. Please don't send me messages asking me to send you a trade. I am more than happy to counter if I think it isn't fair, etc. Thanks!

Please be patient with me, as I usually don't get to look at a trade proposal for a couple of days, at least. I'm not ignoring, I just don't live on my computer. I am always interested in trading, but family and work come first.

Please, when sending a proposal, Make sure that you have the card that you are offering. I understand that sometimes things get mis-checked, but I would never offer a card until I have verified that it is in my possession. All I ask is the same in return. Thanks!

Came across tcdb.com towards the end of 2019, and I just completed transaction #1,200!  Love everything about this site.  I have met so many cool people from all over the Country, and even a few from Canada and beyond. (Just completed a trade to Finland, as a matter of fact).

Stole this from another member, but......my goal is to have zero cards in my For Sale/Trade List.  So keep the proposals comin'!

My PC list is as follows (with TCDB rankings as of 3/15/2023):

NBA: Giannis (4), Dirk Nowitzki (4), and Tim Duncan (3).  (I also unofficially collect MJ , Kobe, & Larry Bird).

NFL: Sterling Sharpe (5), and Don Majkowski (2).

MLB: Aaron Ashby (1), Roberto Clemente (1), Jackie Robinson (2), Robin Yount (7), Tony Gwynn (7), Hal Morris (3), Mark Grace (7), Ethan Small (1), Pat Listach (1), Corbin Burnes (1) and Mark Langston (1).

WWE: Lita (6).

(Although I currently live in Florida, I was born in Milwaukee.....hence my obsession with Wisconsin sports teams.  Ha)

Please check out my For Sale/Trade list, and feel free to message me or send me trade proposals any time.....let's see what we can get done!  (I don't necessarily trade based on "book value", but rather the value to me, so please feel free to counter if I propose a trade that you feel is unfair.  I also have no rules about "insert for insert" or any of that nonsense, so don't be shy to shoot me a proposal)

Have quite a few basketball, some hockey and some racing that I'm dissipating. Still working the sell/trade list and want list.

Willing to deal on anything in my collection other than PC, though I do have duplicates in my PC I will sell/trade. Enjoy working with cards when I'm not working at my real job.

Have a ton of duplicates ranging from 1989-22, so just let me know if something interests you.

Would like to keep the transactions to trades. Always willing to sell. :). PWE is fine and I will usually provide tracking or certified mail for more expensive cards.

Please be aware that adding non-machinable to an envelope does wonders for the condition it arrives in. (Just a tip)

Only U.S. trades please. Sorry!

And please be patient, I will always leave feedback.

Thanks for your consideration.

I am currently looking for Baltimore Orioles Pocket Schedules.

I am also actively searching for the Holiday Inn room key cards of Cal Ripken that parallel the 2007 Upper Deck Holiday Inn Ripken set.

Turning trading back on. Please don't send lopsided offers. I am not interested in trading 1 sapphire top prospect for 5 quarter commons. I am a set collector, but I can get modern commons anywhere so please just try to keep that in mind. I'm pretty flexible, but please ask yourself if you would take the trade you offer. My wantlist is nowhere near complete for my Cubs and player collections so I have no problem taking a look at your tradelist even if there aren't any matches initially. Just send a note along with the trade. My set needs are up to date on my wantlist. Thanks for the hundreds of great trades already!

Chicago Cubs. US Women's National Team Soccer. Chicago Red Stars. Chicago Sky.

Top priority player PCs right now are Willson Contreras and Kyle Hendricks.

Trading PWE is fine with me - no trade too small. Trades of up to around 18 cards or less will ship PWE unless they are higher value, thick, or by request. If you want a bubble mailer just ask!

I don't collect unlicensed cards for the most part - sorry!

If there is any football, basketball, non-sport etc. on my trade list, I will happily trade it for baseball. I don't really collect those cards they just end up in my collection when I buy lots.

Trading with the US and Canada only at the moment to keep shipping down.

I will sell any cards on my FS/T list as well. Either shoot an offer or a wantlist and I will get you a price.

I Have Complete Sets for Sale/Trade:

COMPLETE SET FS/T LIST

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GENERAL BUY / SELL / TRADE INFORMATION:

While everything I have is for sale/trade, anything listed in my collection will be expensive.

With the exception of some complete sets, my collection is stored in sleeves > pages > binders and sorted by player > year > set > card number.  Transactions involving one player or a few players tend to be pulled quickly, but transactions with many different players take longer.  Not all cards with variations are logged properly, but I am happy to confirm that applicable cards in a proposed transaction are the correct variation.

BUYING:

  • NM or Mint 2020 Topps Heritage Throwback Variations on my Wantlist

SELLING:

  • $10 Minimum + USPS Cost (PWE with no tracking to Canada, bubble envelope or box with tracking to US)

TRADING:

  • Condition: <1987 = EX and >=1987 NM - I'll expect cards from a smoke-free environment.  If you're not sure if you're card(s) will pass muster, let me know and/or share a picture.
  • Feedback: If you have little or no feedback, I will request that I receive your cards before I ship mine.
  • Communication: I prefer to work within proposed transactions as soon as possible, but feel welcome to message me first if you're thinking about a trade that will take a lot of time and thought to put together.  As long as you're willing to communicate (I am), I'm comfortable with as many counter proposals as it takes to come to an agreement and then confirm that cards both exist and are in good shape BEFORE the transaction is accepted by one of us.
  • Postage: Please mention if you want to limit the card count for postage reasons as I tend to look for ways to make proposed trades larger.  I tend to use bubble envelopes or boxes, but I'll do PWEs for single card trades or when mailing to Canada.  Unless we discuss it as part of the transaction, I do not expect any specific method from you.

For trading purposes, if it’s a card of anyone listed here in my profile that I collect from any genre or card type and I don’t have it, I want it. If it’s not in my wantlist it’s only because I havnt put it in yet.

I have 2 collections. My second collection labeled For Sale / For Trade is exactly that. If it’s listed in that collection but not in the for trade category it just means that I currently have it listed on eBay, but that doesn’t mean it’s not available. I will definitely take them down for the right trade.

MY COLLECTIONS

Basketball - Portland Trail Blazers, Damian Lillard, Rasheed Wallace, Brandon Roy, Rod Strickland, Scottie Pippen, Latrell Sprewell, Penny Hardaway, Allen Iverson, Vince Carter, anything from the 80's or 90's (especially Blazers) any Metal sets across all brands and genres

Currently ranked #1 on TCDB for Damian Lillard collection

Star Wars - Anything and everything. If it’s Star Wars and I don’t have it, then I want it, no matter what set it’s from. Favorite sets are the Galaxy series, anything chrome, and the 90's CCG by Decipher

Wrestling - All WWE sets, Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor, Ricochet, Ted Dibiase, CM Punk

Currently ranked #1 on TCDB for Bray Wyatt collection

Marvel - Winter Soldier, Havok, Beta Ray Bill, Howard the Duck, promos and any sets from the 90's

Currently ranked #1 on TCDB for Winter Soldier and Beta Ray Bill collection

Pokemon - Scyther, Tyranitar, Umbreon, Espeon, Articuno, any and all promos, any cards from sets in Gen. 1-3

Dragon Ball Z - any of the CCG/TCG sets by Score, Panini and Bandai

Topps Attax Card Game - Anything Star Wars, Marvel, Wrestling or LEGO. Since almost none of it is sold in the US I don’t come across it much except eBay, and even then it’s usually foreign sellers.

    • Any other pre-1970 graded football
      • Any condition, preferrably PSA; primarily looking for cheap, low-grade commons

Any cards that I have that do not meet the above criteria will be removed from my collection. As of right now, I only sell on COMC (and I don't see that changing). I just don't have the time with my lifestyle (working 40-50 hours a week, plus coaching three baseball teams) to pull, package, and mail trades, or even mail my own sales. I do enjoy sending PIFs and typically check wantlists here before sending a box to COMC for consignment. If I'm looking for something specific and notice you have it FS/T, I may reach out to try and make an offer. I don't expect to receive any proposals, and would rather send someone a few cards from their wantlist and get nothing in return than try to hash out a deal.

I do have cards listed FS/T; they are available via COMC, listed in my "COMC" collection, and can be accessed by following the External Sales Link on those cards. I don't have them in my possession, so I can't do a trade with you. However, I want to see these cards go to people who really want them. If you see something you like, send me a message on here and let me know - the price will come down, and I'll even take a bit of a loss to get you cards for your collection. I keep my prices more in line with what is currently offered on COMC, but I'll certainly be wiling to negotiate, especially with a TCDB member, as these are typically higher than what these cards are truly worth, in my opinion.

I guess it's time that I put a real profile description on here, as I've been around for a couple of years and am starting to ramp up my trading.

I am a baseball only collector. I owned a card store for about 9 years in the heyday of the junk era boom (1989-1998). When I closed it, I put the cards in storage for about 8 years, not touching them until roughly 2006.

I decided in 2020 to narrow my collecting focus to only two areas:

1980's oddball sets if they were produced by one of the big five (Topps, Donruss, Fleer, Score and Upper Deck) Here's all I need from that era:

Some 1988, 1989 and 1990 Topps Stickers (1981 through 1987 complete)

Some 1983 Fleer Star Stickers (all other years complete)

A full set of 1980 Topps White Back Supers (all other years complete)

A full set of 1980 and 1981 Fleer Laughlin Team Logo stickers

ONE single sticker (from 1986) to finish the complete master run of Fleer Team Logo stickers 1982-1991

1984 Fleer Update Gooden and Clemens to finish the complete run of 1984-1991 Fleer Update sets

A complete set of 1981 Topps Scratch-offs

Complete sets of 1983-1989 OPeeChee Stickers (have 1982)

All of the Topps Team Checklists from 1980-1982 (not the pack pulled ones, the ones that were printed on thinner cardboard sheets)

1970-1976 Kellogg's sets (I have completed 1977 through 1983. I might give up on this quest as these don't meet my criteria of being made by one of the big five, and finding older ones uncracked is hard and expensive.

A fair number of 1982 Fleer stamps (1983 is done)

Most of the 1989 and 1990 KMart blister pack Topps Batting Leaders

Some of the 1991 Score Rookie/Traded Magic Motion Trivia cards (1988-1991 regular sets complete)

That's it for 1980's oddball needs

Will detail my other focus (1990's complete insert sets) when I have more time.

I have tens of thousands of star cards from football, basketball and baseball not listed in my FS/FT yet, but will be working on that as time allows. If you see that I have cards on my wantlist that you have, but don't see anything on your wantlist that I have, send me a message and I bet I can round up some trade bait while I'm working on inputting them.

Mainly Barry Sanders cards I don't have and Football RCs. However, I also look for all 4 major sport RCs of minor/major stars and HoFers, as well as vintage cards. (Right now, good condition 69 topps football has a bit of a priority).   I'll also collect random cards that spark my interest at the time....

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PROPOSE A TRADE......I know there's not too much on my want list, but I will usually find something off a FS/T list, so I'm pretty certain we can work out a deal.

As far as condition goes: My modern cards are in NM/MT or better, or pack pulled condition. If there is an issue with the card, it will be specified....NO SURPRISES. Obviously, the older the card, the condition will vary and be specified as well.

Trading: PWE shipping, will use multiple envelopes if needed.

My collection is one that sparks joy to me. I have no rhythm or reason to it, each card brought joy to me and so it was added to the collection. My want list is cards that spark joy for me. My Want List is being re added to and will grow greatly over the next few weeks/months.

This hobby is my saving grace! I found it as a way to help my anxiety and the friendships I have made in this hobby are amazing! I truly appreciate everyone in this hobby!

I look forward to doing lots of trades here and getting these cards in your mailbox and collection where they belong!

One of my binder projects is a Topps Twins project and am mainly needing the vintage now, I am happy to add cards with character aka poor condition for the vintage cards. This project is to tell the story of the decades and what better way than to have character to the cards. That's for the vintage, I don't want 1990s cards that are rounded edges and ripped up.

My collection is valued at how much I'm smiling at the end of the day :)

Hey everybody, Jeremy here.

Big time Husker fan as I've grown up and lived in Nebraska my entire life. I'm an alum and will cheer for any sport.

Been a card collector since a wee child. Took a 15 year hiatus in college and post-college and getting back into it collecting my childhood favorites. Boy have things changed! I'll dabble in some new cards as well if they aren't all gone at the local retailers. Thus, I have newer cards for trade as well.

My goal: is to help you complete your sets and/or collect your favorite players or teams. I only have 1-5% of my collection logged into TCDB thus far, so most likely have many more in your want list then what appears. I'm very open and actually prefer trading 100-400 cards for 5-15 cards in return. I understand a number of my want list includes potentially "higher" priced cards ($1-$20+), so if I need to trade 1:10 or 1:20 if you're open to that, I am as well and will ship accordingly. As stated above, I love helping others complete sets as I have a TON of doubles and commons.

I will always send PWE, unless the trade is over 25+ cards, then use a padded envelope.

I enjoy collecting: (ranking week of 3/13 ---> 3/20)
Shaquille O'Neal (#25 ---> #24) (3.7% Complete)
* Ken Griffey Jr. (#49 ---> #49) (2.9% Complete)
* Dan Marino (#21 ---> #21) (3.9% Complete)
* Kobe Bryant (#35 ---> #35) (1.4% Complete)
* Michael Jordan (#139 ---> #139) (2.4% Complete)
* Lebron James (#65 ---> #65) (0.4% Complete)
* Alex Rodriguez (#80 ---> #80) (1.0% Complete)
* Ricky Williams (#10 ---> #10) (3.5% Complete)

Would love to eventually be in the Top 100, even Top 50 in all the above at some point in time.

Always open to fair offers and selling any cards in my FS/FT list, as I have a BUNCH of cards I'm looking to purge as well. As I continue to get back into it, I may grow my wants/needs in completing sets, etc. I accept cards in all conditions, they don't have to be perfect.

Appreciate all considerations and will try to communicate if a card isn't in "gem mint" condition as well, as I do have some that aren't, as I actually traded cards waaaayyyyy before TCDB came along!

I'm trying to liquidate the FST list, so let's trade with reasonable offers! It never hurts to ask for a little more.

I am building my 1971 topps baseball set right now. Looking for moderate condition (GD-VG-VGEX) and I will overtrade as I build my sets.

Yes: I'll buy (Venmo/Cashapp).
Yes: I'll sell (Venmo/Cashapp/Paypal).
Yes: I'll trade a huge pile of cards for a big ticket card.
Yes: I'll trade a big ticket card for a huge pile of cards.
Yes: I'll trade to Canada.
Yes: I'll trade vintage for new.
Yes: I'll trade new for vintage.
Yes: I'll trade between sports.
Yes: I'll probably throw that other card in too.

General Condition notes (unless otherwise noted. I'm happy to send photos if requested):
• 60s-70s-80s (G-VG-EX-EXMT)
• 80s-90s-00s (EX-EXMT-NRMT)
• 00s-10s-20s (EXMT-NRMT-MT)

Cards come from a smoke-free/pet-free/Subway-bread/patchouli free home. I like to think I have all the (.) and (*) variations catalogued, but let me know if these are critically important to you. I believe that I'm reasonably well organized, but there have been occasions where the database says I have a certain card, and I am unable to locate it in my collection. I apologize in advance for when that happens.

Sent trades to 45/50 states. All 50 before I die, maybe? Where are you, AK, LA, UT, VT, WY?

PC is Miguel Cabrera, Spencer Torkelson and Cal Eldred.

Time to give my profile a quick update...

I have been on TCDB over a year now.

150 trades in my first year and always looking for more.

Players I am collecting:

  • Robin Yount - My all-time favorite player. I have been out of collecting for the past few years so I have a lot of older stuff (during his playing days) but missing a lot of newer stuff
  • Mike Caldwell - My first favorite player
  • Brady Clark - My nephew's name. Someday I can give him a collection of cards with his name on them.

I have finished a number of sets thanks to TCBD.

I have gone back and started collecting Topps flagship sets. Also have some to finish up from before my 15 year break in collecting. Here's what I'm working on now (or will be soon):

  • 1996 Fleer
  • 1999 Upper Deck Ultimate Victory

I'm always willing to trade or sell. Let me know what you're interested in and I'm sure we can work something out.

A NOTE ON MY 2022 INSERTS: At this point I am looking to sell these rather than trade. I may be tempted by something special but for the most part looking to sell. I also have several 2022 Topps Series 1 sets to sell as well.

Please check out my eBay listings. I should always have a number of items up for sale there.

Vintage Sports sets I am currently building: 1960 Topps Baseball, 1960 Topps Football

Non Sport: Batman sets, James Bond sets

Willing to consider all types of trades.  I should say that I prefer to trade vintage for vintage unless the trade is too good to decline.

***If you are offering a trade and you see I need a '53 Topps card that you have, I am most likely not interested in trading for it, as I am collecting a graded set and just use the wantlist to keep track of what I still need.***

Chipper Jones, Derek Jeter, Tony Gwynn, Ozzie Smith, Don Mattingly.

Players from Delaware including Zack Gelof, Delino DeShields, John Mabry, Chris Widger, Randy Bush, Chris Short, Ian Snell, Joey Wendle, and others. University of Delaware athletes in UD uniform. Tennessee Volunteer football players in UT uniform. Duke basketball players in Duke uniform. I will also be collecting my cousin Mason Fluharty whenever he gets cards made (he's currently in High A for the Blue Jays).

Cards on my for sale/trade list typically consist of the following conditions (I will let you know if an individual card is in worse condition):

2020-2010 - Fresh out of the pack, typically NrMt

2000-2009 - Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt (may have a fuzzy corner or show a little bit of edge wear from being in a box, especially if the card has a dark colored border)

1988-1999 - Cards from when I was a kid. Some may have some fuzzy corners or edge wear from being in a box. If the wear/damage seems significant I will let you know once I pull them.

1981-1988 - Some may have some edge wear, fuzzy corners, may have a dinged corner. Others may be straight out of the pack. I will let you know if there are any serious issues.

1980 and older - I typically include the condition. Most of these cards are EX at best. Some are a lot worse. I can send photos if you are interested, just ask.

I don't typically pay attention to centering unless it is really bad. If the card is legitimately miscut and you can see another card on it then I just throw it out and it won't be listed here (with the exception of some vintage stuff).

I prefer to trade my non-baseball for baseball cards, as I'm trying to focus my collection and reduce the space it takes up.

I ship PWE unless it's too many cards to fit or there's a card of significant value.

Old school I like to put sets together and sort like old guys put puzzles together. Just got back into collecting during the 2020 Covid crap lockdown. Was going to sell everything now buying a lot more then I should be. If you see something in my trading or sell collection feel free to reach out.

Also, I'm more interested in star for star card trades!!! NOT stars for 90's Junk Era unless your giving up ALOT of needs to get off my list. Getting way to many of these offers and 1 or 2 common card trades as they need to be worth more then a stamp so try to do at LEAST 9 card trades.

I PC QB's : Brady, Mahomes, Burrow, Lawerence, Herbert,  & Dak (why). WRs : CeeDee, Chase, Jefferson, DeVonta Smith, St. Brown & Waddle to name a few.  RB - E. Smith.

Basketball PC : Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Ja, Luka, Trae Young, LaMello Ball, Anthony Edwards, Joker, Maxery, & Steph Curry

A few names I'm interested in trading for.

Now the #1 collector of Ryan Klesko cards on TCDB!  With more to come!

PC: Ryan Klesko, Dale Murphy, Dave Winfield, Dominique Wilkins, Michael Conforto, Adley Rutschman, Nick Madrigal, Trevor Larnach, Steven Kwan, Cadyn Grenier, Drew Rasmussen, Gary Payton II, Junior Seau, some rookie/early Bo Jackson, rookie/early/unique Eric Lindros, rookie/early Junior Seau. Looking for any Oregon State Univ alum in OSU or Team USA gear (Jacob Melton, Will Frisch, Cooper Hjerpe, Nahshon or Razjohn Wright, AC Green, Jordan Poyer, Mike Hass, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Jacoby Ellsbury, Steven Jackson, Gary Payton, Ethan Thompson, Nick Barnett, Matt Moore, Ochocinco/Chad Johnson, Sean Mannion, Johnny Hekker, Darwin Barney, Jake Luton, Jermar Jefferson, Hamilcar Rashed Jr, etc etc etc).

PLEASE SEND TRADE OFFERS.  It's my favorite part of the hobby.  Always willing to negotiate a good deal for both sides.  One card, or 10+ cards.  I'm fine with any size.  USA & Canada only, unless the card is significant enough to me to ship overseas.

I do NOT collect/keep any other cards of any other players/teams.  If the card isn't a unique card to me of one of my guys above, it's not something I will keep.  I don't want duplicates either.  I'll trade it or sell it if it's something I think I can move; otherwise, no thanks.  But I DO want any card of any of my PC guys if I don't already have it.  My trade/sell and want/wish lists are updated, so if it's not on those lists, it's highly unlikely that I'm interested in it, or I already own it.

Fan of: all OSU sports, Braves, Red Sox, Blazers, Chargers, Flyers, Timbers, Tottenham FC.

Goal for VINTAGE ONLY CARDS (condition NOT very important...just no rips/tears, no writing on the front...some creases ok): Hank Aaron (preferably in a Milwaukie uniform, but not required), Mickey Mantle pre-1969 (earlier the better), Babe Ruth any vintage year, Joe DiMaggio any year, Lou Gehrig any year, Ted Williams pre-1955, Jackie Robinson any year, Shoeless Joe any year, and Stan Musial pre-1960.  For basketball, would like a Kareem while in Milwaukie, early Doctor J, Oscar, early Magic/Bird, Bill Russell, Jerry West, Wilt, Maravich, David Thompson, Gervin, Cousy, Mikan, Moses & maybe a couple others.  Prefer to stay as cheap as possible, but for the right card might go a little higher...obviously Mantle/Ruth/Joe D and those types would be more.  Again, condition I know won't be great at these prices.  I now have a Hank, Mantle, Clemente, Bob Gibson, Ernie Banks, Sandy Koufax and a Willie Mays at these levels, and a couple of Ted Williams, that I'm very happy with.

  • I will typically send cards via PWE unless the quantity is above 20 and then I will send BMWT.  If you wish a smaller trade to be sent BMWT, please let me know & adjust the trade accordingly.

TCDB rankings as of 11/6/22:

  • Klesko (1st)
  • Dale Murphy (10th)
  • Winfield (6th)
  • Conforto (1st)
  • Madrigal (1st)
  • Rutschman (1st)
  • Kenyon Yovan (1st)
  • Larnach (1st)
  • Grenier (1st)
  • Drew Rasmussen (1st)
  • Kevin Abel (1st)
  • Steven Kwan (27th)
  • Darwin Barney (7th)
  • Drew Rasmussen (1st)
  • Kevin Able (1st)
  • Steven Kwan (23rd)
  • Beau Philip (1st)
  • Cooper Hjerpe (3rd)
  • Justin Boyd (15th)
  • Dominique Wilkins (3rd)
  • Steven Jackson (62nd)
  • Gary Payton II (1st)
  • Jacquizz Rodgers (3rd)
  • Hamilcar Rashed Jr (1st)
  • Jake Luton (1st)
  • Jermar Jefferson (1st)
  • Sean Mannion (2nd)

VERY willing to trade/negotiate.  I live to trade...send me ALL trade requests!  Would prefer trades to purchases, although I know my PC is pretty limited in the grand scheme of things.  Just got back to the hobby in 2020 after approx 30 years out of it, and about 20 years after selling off 99% of it to pay for our wedding.  I forgot how much I loved it!

Decided to start collecting Buffalo Sabres cards from 1984 on, want list includes 1970 on though. So basically, taking all Sabres cards people want to jettison. Not looking for stickers though.

Started collecting World Series one sheets from 1984 on. Always welcoming help on that front.

Open to trades and willing to help those looking to finalize sets. If it's on my trade list, I generally have it in a set or its part of an assortment of cards I've gotten over the years. Reach out if you have a specific need in those years.

I primarily collect Royals cards.  I have completed most of the base set Royals cards and have been focusing lately on oddball sets and inserts. Sometimes I work on vintage sets (50's through '72).  I have completed most of the base sets from '73 through '89.  I also collect Kansas City A's cards ('55 - '67).

I collect mostly 1980s and 1990s baseball cards, with a few sets in the 1970s mixed in. While I list a few favorite players on my profile, I collect quite a few players and am also trying to complete several sets. Even if it's not on my wantlist, if I don't have it, you're welcome to offer it in a trade, or ask if I'm interested.

Also note that I have the following baseball sets for sale or trade. (I'd prefer to sell or trade an entire set rather than break it up.)

  • 1995 Upper Deck Series 1
  • 1997 Stadium Club
  • 1997 Upper Deck Statistical Leaders (still sealed in box)
  • 1998 Bowman Series 1
  • 1999 Upper Deck MVP

I also have several hundred toploaders that I'd be willing to trade for cards, so just PM me or make a trade offer!

I collect Chicago Cubs team sets. Currently I have base sets from 1951 - present (mostly Topps). Right now I'm collecting other brands and non-base sets. I love those junk wax era cards.

Prefer PWE trades!  But not a requirement.

Trades of any size are welcome!

Update after 6 months on site (joined on Thanksgiving 2020; couldn't host or travel that day due pandemic lockdown)

I continue to be impressed by the membership here.  100 deals completed, and only 2 with issues (1 wasn't delivered due p.o. imcompetence, trading partner made it right immediately; and another trader didn't fully describe item with a major flaw and then sent incorrect cards but made up for it after a 2 month wait).  All partners I've dealt with show commitment to shipping quickly and doing drama-free deals, and I sincerely hope that continues!  Haven't yet completely decided how to handle vintage card deals, it just seems easier to deal with modern stuff so there are no disagreements regarding card condition which can get sticky at times.

Near term direction and goals:  finish 1 Topps Heritage set (2016 Trout SP where are you), add Mike Schmidt needs to wantlist, add wants in 2002 Topps 206 and 2003 Topps 205 mini sets (non-polar bear backs) and complete 2009 Topps 206 mini set with all Piedmont-back SP variations.

The most enjoyable trades I've found were with individual team 'super collectors'.  I've got enough oddball stuff going back to the early 70s that I can usually find something they've been in search of for a while, and I enjoy the dig!

I'm a set collector.  I'm working on completing all of the Topps Baseball sets from the 1970s.  I've completed the '70, '76, '77, '78, and '79 sets, and I'm really close on '73 and '74.  I'm at varying stages of completion for the others.  I'm also working on completing various sets from the 80s and 90s junk wax era - mostly baseball, but some football and basketball. I love trading!  I usually trade vintage for vintage and modern for modern, but I'm willing to consider anything reasonable.

Print code variations drive me crazy!  I know that some of you collect all of those variations, but I don't care about them.  Some of my cards are recorded with the correct variations, but others aren't.  If you care about the variations, I'm happy to verify that they are the ones you want - just let me know.

I've interacted with so many great people on this site, and I thank you all for that.  It's really fun to collect cards and to help you get the cards you want.

    • 1957, 1965, 1971 and 1972 Topps sets. I'll take anything in any condition if the trade is fair enough. I just like the design of the cards and I am hoping to accrue as many as I can before it gets too impossible to complete.
  • I am interested in any Red Sox card that I don't have. Exceptions to this are all the dot/no dot and/or letter variations from the nineties, as I only really need one version of those.
  • My cards are at least NrMt unless otherwise noted. I try my best to grade cards using a few sources (Site 1Site 2, Site 3), but will let you know if there's a surprise when I pull the cards for trade.
  • Please let me know if there are any notable condition details with cards, especially if vintage. I will try to ask when proposing/considering a trade as well.
  • I try to trade pre-80s cards for other pre-80s cards if possible.
  • If a card is marked as an autograph (AU) with condition "Ex" on my For Trade/For Sale list, that means it's a hand-signed, through-the-mail (TTM) autograph. Open to any offers for these cards if you're interested!
  • I usually trade using a PWE (plain white envelope - thanks AnalogKid) for up to 27 cards, but let me know if you prefer a different way to send cards. If more than 27 cards, I either go with 2 PWEs or a bubble mailer.
  • If you see something on my For Trade list but we don't match up well, let me know. I'm sure I can try to make a swap happen!
  • This is a great site. Thank you for trading!

Note: '88 - '92 Donruss, '91 - '92 Stadium Club, and '92 Leaf variations on my FT/FS list are up to date.

My want list is stripped down to mostly just Ozzie right now, matches may be hard to come by. If I've got something your interested in PM me and I'll take a look at your list and add some stuff to my wants I like, and we can go from there.

I'm going after any Magic Johnson playing day cards

Sets I'm going after: 1979 Topps Basketball, Fleer Metal Basketball 1995-98, 2012 Past and Present Variations and 2020 Upper Deck Hockey Dazzlers

I'm always willing to take vintage basketball commons (1987 and before) in trades, as well as any Hoops red backs

I also collect pre war billiards cards, vintage non sport/entertainment cards (Bing Crosby, Elvis, John Wayne, etc...), any vintage sports cards 1970 and before, Kareem Abdul Jabbar playing day cards, and any Kobe cards.

I'm definitely more inclined to do trading right now and am prioritizing my Magic Johnson PC, 1979 Topps Set, and 2012 Past and Present Variations Set.

I'll add as many cards as I can as quickly as I can. I mainly have basketball, so feel free to ask if I have certain basketball cards

I collect 60s and 70s Baseball, Football and Basketball cards.  Lots of duplicates for trades.  Set builder.  Rod Carew fan.  Was a hoarder then found out those Hostess cards I saved all those years are worth a few bucks.  Collection sat in tubs for 40 years and several moves and now getting serious again as I approach retirement.

2022 represents an anniversary of collecting trading cards for 70 years. I spent 50 years as a set builder of baseball cards, but now I just collect cards of the above players with an occasional small set collection. At one time, I had an collection of complete sets of Topps and Bowman baseball cards (plus others) from 1954 forward plus quite a few cards from the 1952 Topps & 1953 Topps and Bowman sets. During the late 1980s and early 1990s I sold off the majority of those sets but still continued completing sets until 2002.

I've been trading online since 1994 and welcome any trade offers.  If I offer a trade, the cards normally have already been pulled prior to an acceptance, counter or decline. It is not a problem for me to re-file or exchange cards in a trade if needed.  I do keep records of my trading with my partners addresses and occasionally recheck those traders for future trades or sometimes just send along a PIF (pay it forward).  My one major disappointment with this site is that I did not find it many years before I did.  I will usually mail cards out promptly with tracking, however letely I have used PWEs for relatively small value trades.  Saying this, I welcome trade offers.  I do not expect to ever wind up with compete collections of any of the players I collect, nor do I want to.  I try to just enjoy my collecting habit and strive to make new friends in the hobby!

Last but not least, I do not sell cards, trades only.

My "wants" for my Cardinals collection is accurate from 1900 - 2007.  I still have about 10,000 Cardinals cards from 2008-present to sort through and enter.  Please do not offer any Cardinals cards from 2008-present unless you contact me first as there is a chance I already have it amongst the multitude to still go through.

I still have about 30K Cardinals duplicates that are not yet enterred in the database as FS/FT.

3-3-23 Update:

I have been trading on here for a few months and have completed 150 trades with 100% positive feedback. I greatly enjoy trading here, but once my art show season starts, I will have to slow down. So after March, please allow time for me to respond to requests. My shows are on the weekends and I will be traveling a lot.

MY PC:

Yogi Berra #1 on TCDB. I have almost all of Yogi's vintage playing days cards with only oddball cards left. So I am going after his modern cards too. I have all of his cards on my want list minus 1/1's, autographs, and multi player memorabilia cards but am always interested if anyone has them.

Roy Campanella #1 on TCDB. I am in the same boat with Campy. I have almost all of his vintage cards with very few oddballs left. I am going after his modern cards with the same exceptions as with Yogi.

Pee Wee Reese #1 tied on TCDB. Same as with Campy and Yogi, my Pee Wee Vintage needs list is short with only oddballs left. So I am doing the same with him.

Jackie Robinson. Jackie is primarily for my daughter, she is a bigger Ernie Banks fan but we get Jackie for her too.

 Satchel Paige #6 on TCDB

 Ty Cobb #7 on TCDB

George Brett

Salvador Perez

My 9 year old Daughter Marley Collects:

Ernie Banks: #6 on TCDB. Marley's Heaven Daddy passed away when she was 6 months old and his favorite player was Ernie. During Covid, I got back into cards and Marley's Mom pulled out her Heaven Daddy's cards. He had a handful of Ernie vintage cards so she wanted to collect more of them. She has his complete base career run and several oddballs, but we are trying to attain the rest. She sells and trades her own cards to get more Ernie and has sold some of her toys to buy vintage cards as well. She has been given cards from several of our friends on Twitter and if you want to see her collection look at my pinned tweet on my account. @Passion4Baseba1.

Pulled everything as too many errors in what I have compared to this. See Ebay and Ebid sites for items in mean time.Ebay items after end date move to Ebid site. After 10 10 day auctions moves to straight $sale with offer ability.  May be back on here may not. Selling ( FYI: not giving away around last few trades I can find (most commonly Beckett Market Data prices) which come from Ebay and it's own marketplace) all cards on the trade/sell list. Not really interested in trading except for my wantlist. Will take multiples of RCs.

I usually charge $3.50 for shipping in cardboard mailer, tracking, well protected no matter the amount of cards you buy ( up to 800)  does NOT change shipping. Will do PWE no tracking, not as well protected but should be adaquate $1. (Shipping charges only apply to purchases not trades.)

I bought a pack of 1985 Topps back when I was a kid and I've been hooked ever since. I put my first set together the following year of 86' Topps and my goal was to get every card ever made. It only took a few years to make that goal pretty unobtainable, but it wasn't for lack of trying. My first set that was older than me that I finished was THE 1971 Topps. Worked on it for years. If the internet and eBay wasn't invented, I'd probably still be working on it.

I am currently working on every major Topps set from 52-69. When completing my 64 set I came across some beautiful high numbers which made me upgrade the rest of the set. Now I am upgrading my entire 60's collection to at least Ex-Mt. The majority of my 70's set are Nm if not Mt. Haven't gotten that picky with the 50's yet, just want to finish them. While my passion is vintage cards, I have spent entirely too much money on current stuff. I have limited my collection to baseball so stay tuned to me listing all of the other sports on my trade list. (Still having a hard time letting go of my childhood cards)

I'm also a huge Cincinnati Reds fan. Like the Bengals also but like I said limiting to baseball. Bo Jackson is my only exception. Lol

Trading: I will be open to any size trade, no matter if I am sending 1 card or 50 cards. I will usually send multiple PWE's in trades where I am sending 10+ cards. If I ever send you a wrong or damaged card, let me know ASAP and I would be glad to send you a replacement. Feel free to counter/decline my trade offers, as I'm not offended if you don't like the offer I send. If I have any cards that are damaged or not mint, they should be marked with a condition note. I will most likely never buy cards, but if you want to buy something from me I'd be open to work something out. I will also consider trades for any #'d, memorabilia, or autographed Phillies cards I don't have, as I don't have them on my wantlist.

I recently just completed my 500th transaction. I started trading around January 2022 and I never thought I'd get there so quickly!!

What I collect: Husker baseball and the Phillies players below.

If you are looking for a card that I have from 1986 or before, it might not be in MT or NRMT condition. I played with these cards as a kid so some of them might have some scuffed or bent corners. I tried to take out all the bad ones, but some could have slipped through. Before I trade any of those I will look at them first and communicate before sending them out. Please don't hesitate to ask about the condition of them, thanks.

Update 2/4/23: Trade break to catch up on life.

I am attempting to 1) collect two of every basketball card with a referee's face visible (one base, one parallel) and eventually 2) identify each referee.

I love PWE trades.

*Warning* I am a slow processor and transactions may take me a long time, mostly because I do most of my card work over the weekend.

Happy collecting :)

Not trading much ATM. NOt turning off proposals, but I'm not checking daily like I was earlier in the year...some weeks I'm only on once a week or so...busy w/ the supply chain and labor shortages

2021-07-31

Still actively trading for all vintage needs. In the process of adding condition notes to my vintage FT list. Most of my vintage HOFers are packed up for a show the weekend of Aug 12 in KC, so I may be slow to respond to any trade involving them.

2021-04-11

Adding some more modern stuff to my wantlists...to reiterate from earlier posts, I'm really only looking to trade Modern Dupes for Modern Needs....very rarely will I be interested in trading Vintage for Modern stars/RCs....even rarer vintage for Modern commons.

2021-03-16

Completed several trades lately, thank you to those that have worked out deals with me! Typically speaking, I'd like to trade Vintage for Vintage and Modern for Modern...it is just easier to match up value for all involved.

RE: Vintage this isa  rough guide of the floor for what I am looking for condition wise...will always accept better condition than these guidelines, but don't want to go below them most of the time,

1956 & older - Good & up. No paper loss/writing.

1957 & 1958 - VGish...I'm ok with creasing on the card if it still presents well...again no paper loss or writing, unmarked checklists please.

1959 & 1961 - 1970 - EX+, relatively sharp corners, no worse than 70/30 front centering typically, no writing/paper loss

1971 - G/VG/EX - Better condition are welcome, but this set is such a b*tch, I'll basically take what I can get :)

1972 - 1978 - Ex+/NM, well centered, decent corners, nice color.

Wax stains don't bother me at all.

2021-02-23

Dudes, and Dudettes...I am so far not regretting my delay in joining the trading platform on this site...I've recieved a dozen or so trade offers, 2 I accepted withough delay because they were basically even all around......4-6 I'm still kicking around wheter or not it is worth a counter becuase they are all pretty unbalanced...asking me for Bowman Chrome RCs, SPs, etc for basically commons in bulk............Not completely unrealistic, but still, they are not what I am looking for.......and like, 4-6 trades have been just insulting....No, I'm not trading 20+ Heritage SPs for 70s commons. I mean, come on man, don't waste your time or mine with that stuff. I am 100% for helping people out, and don't need to 'WIN' every trade, but I'm not a sucker either.

2021-02-19

Hey everyone...I've been around this site for years, but used it only to track my main PC and vintage sets... I've just recently started adding my entire collection, and it has led to major influx of trade offers. (I didn't even realize this site HAD messaging until about 5 minutes ago, so I apologize if ice neglected your messages)

Couple things on trades I'm looking for...

If I need a bunch of commons/semi stars in recent sets, that's pretty much the kind of stuff want to trade for them...not looking to trade an Acuna Rookie for a stack of 500 Commons or anything...

Vintage is priority...I'm updating my vintage stuff to reflect my extras, I will add a condition guide here in the coming days to focr you all an idea of the condition I'm after In each set...by enlarge I am NOT looking for beaters...there are very few exceptions to this.

Don't hesitate to toss me an offer...I plan on being much more active in the coming weeks/months in getting some sets built and helping others complete theirs!!

It has finally come to the point that I have become completely overwhelmed in the hobby. I am not getting out but I am only collecting a few select players.

I have spent a few weeks organizing my FT and want list. It might not be completely correct but it is better than it was.

If I'm slow to respond, just know it's because I'm spending quality time with my family and I will get back to you!

I’m learning as I work on downsizing my collection that I’m not always the best at taking cards out as I trade them locally. I try to be as accurate as possible but if I don’t have a card that is in a transaction I will always make it right in your favor and I apologize in advance for the hassle.

Looking to sell the majority or my trade list, so I'm throwing together lots, and listening to offers, so please DM me or send me an offer if you're looking to buy.

please confirm all cards before sending or accepting a trade with me. While stuff happens sometimes, I always confirm cards before preceding with a deal, and have that same expectation.  Additionally, please alert me if you won't be sending your trades within a few days of confirming a deal. I always send within a day, and the rare times I can't, I communicate it. So I expect the same. Simple courtesy folks.

Willing to sell stuff as well if no trade can be worked out. Must have a positive transaction history, and a pay method that protects both. Prefer any deal of this nature to be a minimum of $20 to make it worth the time. Willing to do large lots or single cards.

Due to work, will likely respond to trades/messages on weekends

Trading: A minimum of 12 cards going each way unless there is a true gem / vintage in the trade. PWE acceptable but prefer large trades of 250+ cards in each direction. Please confirm that you actually have the cards before Accepting a trade; I always do the same at this end. Vintage for vintage; HoF/stars for same; inserts / parallels for same, all as much as possible. Priority are vintage, OPC and sets on my UserLists. Having tried to offer cards from these lists will increase the chances of my Accepting a trade; totally disregarding these and offering me 12+ commons from a set that I am so far from completing that they do not make the list is more prone to being Declined, especially if I see you have cards for trade that are on my lists.

------------------------------

Stats: As of 31 December 2022:

Wants OPC Baseball: base sets 1965-1994 + 1981 Grey Backs and 1990 white stock test issue parallel - 344/13,896 cards (2.48%).

Wants Topps Baseball: base sets 1951-2022 + 1952 Black backs, 1954 Canadian, 1975 mini parallel, 1993 & 1994 Gold parallel - 3,139/48,529 (6.47%). Breakdown by decade: 1951-60 - 1,191/3,816 (31.21%); 1961-70 - 1,041/6,135 (16.97%); 1971-80 - 408/7,721 (5.28%); 1981-90 - Complete; 1991-2000 - 70/7,856 (0.89%); 2001-10 - 148/6,986 (2.12%); 2011-20 - 3/6,841 (0.04%); 2021-22 - 278/1,320 (21.06%).

Trading/PIF/Purchases on TCDb:

2022 - 231 + 7 still In-Progress; Cards Sent - 13,922 / Cards Received - 13,530

Total since being a member: Cards Sent - 72,236 / Cards Received - 63,682 (# of trades really doesn't matter to me as it can be misleading to the quantity of cards have come and gone).

Sets completed through Trades/PIF/Purchases in 2022 - 85 sets including 38 base sets.

---------------------------------

2023 Goals:

1. Re-organize my Oddball / Food Issue Baseball sets. First attempt February 4. Will see how that works.

2. Reduce OPC base set needs to less than 300.

3. Reduce Topps base set needs to less than 2,700 (including the 2023 base set issue). By decade, 1950s to less than 1,000; 1960s to less than 900; 1970s to less than 300.

4. Trade over 10,000 cards going each way.

5. Complete 75 base / insert / parallel / oddball sets.

I was first introduced to trading cards as a first grader in 1979 when a kid on the school playground gave me a 1979 Topps #107 Jesus Alou card and one other card (I don't recall who) at the kickball court.  I started collecting in 1980 by buying wax packs of Topps baseball (4 packs for $1) at the nearby 7-Eleven.  In 1983 I started purchasing complete sets of the big 3, as well as older Topps sets as my allowance allowed.  In 1986 I worked for a card shop sorting vending cases of 1986 Topps cards into sets.  Collected mainly complete baseball sets until around 1987 at which point I sold about 2/3 of my collection (~15,000 cards) as I lost interest in collecting.   A few years after graduating college I resumed collecting certain players.  Never got too serious about collecting at that time due to other things going on, but never completely stopped either.  In 1998 I started to PC Stacey Augmon, as I was looking for something new to collect.  I discovered TCDB in 2020 when I was trying to find a way to inventory my Augmon collection, and picked up the hobby again during the pandemic.  Most of my collection is junk wax era or ultra modern.  I purchased four large bulk lots via Craigslist and OfferUp, and have been buying mixed lots of newer base cards at my LCS.  I consider myself a collector, not an investor or flipper. I don't do breaks or buy unopened packs/boxes or submit cards for grading, so I'm not looking to strike it through my collecting, nor do I have any higher end cards in my collection or for trade.  I take pride in the fact that my collecting is completely self-sustaining, meaning all purchases are made through profits from sales, so I am never putting any "new" money into the hobby.

My main PC focus is Stacey Augmon, but I also collect some other players (football, basketball, baseball) who mainly played during the 90s (see favorites to the right).  I have 4 tiers of PC players but they are not all listed here so that I can focus on trying to get my higher tier players first.  My goal is to try and get as many different cards of my favorite players as possible.  I only build sets to sell.  Prefer to trade or sell; not really looking to buy.

I love to trade!  I will respond to ALL offers one way or the other.  All cards for listed trade are NM or better unless otherwise specified; looking for same.  Condition is important to me, although I don't care about centering issues or wax stains.  I am ok with trading cards from different eras and across different sports, trading commons for stars and vice versa, and trades involving uneven number of cards, as long as the trade is fair.  I primarily utilize Sportlots pricing, but normally will just eyeball trade values for most base cards.  I am trying to downsize my collection so I am happy to trade quantity for quality.  Cards will be sent PWE unless they are valuable or there is a large quantity involved.  I generally shy away from trades smaller than 5 cards, unless they're worth more than $5 or so.  Prefer to make trades as large as possible by including as many cards on each others' wantlists as possible.  My goal is to get my For Sale/Trade list down to zero!  However, I am constantly acquiring new cards (ultra modern stuff in all sports) and adding them to my tradelist, so please check back often.  Please also note I am no longer listing multiple copies of cards on my FS/FT list as have started selling the duplicates on Sportlots, so if you are looking for multiple copies of a card, please ask!  I am also always open to selling if we can't find a trade match and will offer you great pricing.  More than anything else, I want you to have a good experience trading with me.  I'd much rather build good relationships so we can do more trades in the future.  If you are not happy with the cards you receive, let me know and I'll do my best to make it right.  I strive for win-win trades where both sides feel good, not trades where one side feels like they are being taken advantage of.

Have some complete sets available for trade or sale as well that are not listed on my sale/trade list: 1986 Sportflics Rookies - Trivia Cards, 1986 Topps baseball,  1990 Donruss baseball,  2020 Bowman baseball (x13), 2020 Bowman Prospects, 2021 Bowman, 1990 Score Magic Motion Super Bowl Trivia Cards, 1992 Pinnacle, 2020 Panini Absolute football, 2021 Panini Contenders Draft Picks, 1994-95 Collectors Choice basketball Series 2, 1998-99 Upper Deck Aerodynamics basketball insert set, 2020-21 Hoops,1991 Topps Desert Storm (x2).  I also sell low priced bulk lots (by set) of ultra modern cards on ebay (see my link below).  Normally lots of 50 to 200 cards for $5-$20.  Great for set builders or team collectors.

For anyone who is going through tough times: If you're going through some tough times whether financially, physically, mentally, relationally, spiritually or whatever and want to make a trade with me but just aren't in a position or have the means to do so, send me a PM and I'll see what I can put together from your wantlist for a free PIF.  After all, when it comes down to it, they're just pieces of paper with pictures on them.  I'd much rather bless someone who needs them than hold onto them.  I am a Believer with an eternal perspective and know that in the end you can't take anything with you.  This is just a hobby, not life or death.

My other collecting interests include sports magazines, sports autographs, and signed sports books.  If you're interested in trading my cards for your magazines, let me know.  In particular I'm looking to fill small holes in my collections of Sports Illustrated, Inside Sports, Sport and the National Sports Daily.  If you're interested in purchasing or trading for any of my autographed sports books let me know as well.  I have books signed by Alonzo Mourning, Apolo Ohno, Brandi Chastain, Chad Hennings, Dave Dravecky, Dennis Byrd, Dick Hoyt, Jim Nantz, Jim Tunney, Joe Garagiola, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Keith Dorney, Lou Holtz, Magic Johnson, Pat O'Brien, Pat Williams, Rex Ryan, Rod Payne, Rolf Benirschke, Roy Firestone, Shaun Thomson.

I prefer cards with no writing, stains, trimmed, rips, tears, tape or multiple heavy creasing. VG or better, but I'd consider lesser grades on vintage to fill a collection hole for reasonable offers.

I am slowly (emphasis on slowly) adding to my trade lists here. I've got thousands more baseball cards listed for trade on my www.

--Updated 10/27/21--

Hi! I am currently collecting cards from 2020, my personal "Pandemic Collection." This includes my favorite sets:

  • '20 Panini Prizm Draft Picks (55/188)
  • '20 Stadium Club (202/350) | Bash & Burn (8/15) | Power Zone (12/25)
  • '20 Topps Allen & Ginter (346/350)
  • '20 Topps Archives (320/324) | '55 Bowman Rookies (18/30) | '60 All Star Rookies (18/18) (COMPLETE) | '60 Combo Cards (6/6) (COMPLETE) | '90s Rookies (1/15)
  • '20 Topps Chrome (175/200)
  • '20 Topps Chrome Update (83/100)
  • '20 Topps Fire (193/200)
  • '20 Topps Update (300/300) (COMPLETE) | Turkey Red (50/50) (COMPLETE)
  • '20 Topps X Steve Aoki (50/100) (Need to update)

I am also interested in Detroit Tigers players and autograph or memorobelia cards of young players with HOF potential. I don't always update my want list. If you have Tigers, Lions, Pistons, or Red Wings cards that I don't have, I'm probably interested in them.

My For Sale/ Trade list is not always up to date, but I do try my best. If I have something you want, there is no harm in asking about it; send me a message and let's see if we can work something out.

Please discuss shipping options ahead of trading.

Finally, I do the bulk of my communication and mailing during the week. I typically reserve weekends for family, but will respond to any weekend offers or messages on Monday.

Unfortunately, due to my post office become way too picky regarding PWE, I will need trades to be big enough for me to justify sending as a package.

Not accepting trades at the moment as I am in process of a massive reorganize to help find cards better in the future.

Update 1/16/23 - Got everything basically sorted.  Could still be improved but I'm happy with what I got done.  Going to be opening up trading again shortly.  Have decided on some new collecting goals/plans and am working to update my want list accordingly before turning trades back on.

I am first and foremost a set builder, though I'm always happy to get cards from my favorite players and teams.

I prefer to work on 1 or 2 large trades at a time, but will entertain smaller offers.

I do a pretty good job of keeping up with the VAR's, but I am sometimes behind on the most up-to-date ones.

Not collecting anymore. Getting rid of all my cards.

If my trading is turned back on, it's only to list what someone wants to get from me, not for trades.

It's been fun, but there comes a time for all good things to come to an end. This is my time.

Started collecting cards seriously when I got a paper route as a kid. '81 Donruss, Topps, Fleer, with all the errors to go along with Topps football.

Walked away for a few years and got back in during the junk wax ramp up.  After drowning in cards I walked away again until early 2021. Those cards in the closet aren't doing anyone any good, might as well do something with them!

Currently trying to build sets for:

1987 Donruss Baseball

1989 Fleer Baseball

2021 Score Football

2021 Topps Baseball series 1 & 2

2022 Topps Baseball series 2

Also looking for any Rancho Cucamonga Quakes cards post 2010, when they became the class A team for the Dodgers.

I have accumulated a lot of junk wax era football and baseball cards over the years, I'm slowly entering them into the database. Always thought they'd be worthless, but it turns out there are a lot of people who are looking for these cards!

If you have concerns about the condition of a card, let me know and I can send you a pic.

If you are looking for specific variations of the Donruss cards (INC vs INC.), please let me know.  In the interest of time, I entered about 99% of those cards as the "A" version of the cards, which is usually the INC. version.  There may be INC cards in the collection that I don't know of.  What were they thinking?!

Getting back into the hobby after ~30 years, which means the bulk of my current collection is junk era wax that includes a good number of HOF players as well as commons. I'd love to trade those to people that are looking to complete sets or collect their favorite team and/or player.

My personal collection is focused on Andre Dawson, Kirby Puckett, Dylan Cease, and any other White Sox (current or retired) players.

I have also started a new project to collect the 1975 Topps Chicago White Sox cards and added a few players with smaller card runs to my PC: Julio Cruz, Ron Karkovice, and Rudy Law.

Prefer to do smaller trades via PWE but am open to bigger trades too. Not looking to buy cards right now until I reduce volume on cards outside of my PC.

TCDB Rankings as of March 1, 2023:

  • Andre Dawson - #11
  • Dylan Cease - #4
  • Julio Cruz - #1
  • Kirby Puckett - #547
  • Ron Karkovice - #1
  • Rudy Law - #1
  • Chicago White Sox - #882

My Collections--

TCDb Trading--

  • For trades, when selecting cards from my want list, I prefer base set cards over parallels or inserts in order to complete team sets.
  • Open to any trade offer, just looking for equal value on both sides and cards from my Want list.
  • I'm most likely going to use a PWE (Plain White Envelope) to send trades unless the trade is for >28 cards or higher in value or you let me know otherwise before the trade is agreed.  Thanks!
  • I'll trade my few football and baseketball cards for cheap if you want em!
  • I have a complete set of 1981 Donruss Baseball I got as a door prize that I wont take the time to completely add to my FS/T list.  If you want it, let me know and we'll work out a good trade for you.
  • FYI-- When adding new cards to my FS/T list, Ive decided to stop worrying about a lot of minor variants from the early 90's, such as the Donruss "." variants, Upper Deck hologram variants, and various copyright code variants.  If you want a specific VAR in a trade, please ask at the time of the trade and I'll make sure I've got the one you need.  I worried about it for a long time so most are entered correctly.   Thanks for understanding.

Trading Card Supplies, anyone?

For as long as they last, I am looking for a good home for my excess of top loaders and penny sleeves.  (I buy too many cards or something).   I dont need to sell them and Im not going to ask anything in exchange for the material itself.  If you are interested in these, all I would ask is that you cover cost of the postage to send them, and my preferred way of doing that would be by sending me equal value in cards on my want list.   I will prioritize those requests first.   If that still leaves me with still extra, I could do a paypal or venmo, again just for the cost of the postage.

Heres my offer...  I'm going to use a flat-rate box, as its the best way I can think of to standardize the shipping costs.

  • In the $10 box, I can fit about 50 standard sized top loaders.
  • In a $17 box, I can fit roughly 700 top loaders.
  • So, for example if you want me to send you 500 top loaders, I would look for $17 in cards I need.

I also have penny-sleeves.  No idea how many, if you want them we can work something out w/ the top loaders.

NOTE ON CONDITION-  These are all used.  Most are in great shape, but a few are scratched, have tape or stickers on them, are yellowed, have colored edges, etc.   They are all mixed, and I dont have time to spend weeding through them and sorting by condition.  You have to be ok getting whatever you get.   I just have a few boxes full of these and would prefer to simply transfer to the flat rate box and ship.

My main PC is McGwire, always looking to add!  Any card that's not part of a set or not a Cardinal's or Bronco's hall of famer is likely for trade to build on my PC.  I'm also starting to build up my Holliday, Wainwright, and Ankiel collections as it's becoming harder and harder to find McGwire stuff I need.

I'm working on Topps base sets from 1979-present, currently focusing on 1981, 1983, and 1984.  I'm also trying to finish off a pesky 1999 Ultra set.

CURENTLY NOT TAKING TRADES

I collect Billings Mustangs cards and former Mustangs players who had prominent MLB careers (George Brett, Aaron Boone, Reggie Sanders, Joey Votto, etc.). Top players still in the minors include Jeter Downs, Hunter Greene, Taylor Trammel, Aristades Aquino, Nick Lodolo, and Nick Senzel.

I am also a Red Sox collector. I like to focus on Pedro Martinez, Nomar Garciaparra, Dustin Pedroia, and Xander Bogaerts.

Other players I look for are Randy Johnson, Matt Chapman, and Troy Tulowitzki.

I prefer to make trades PWE unless the cards are high value.

My trade philosophy: Like to keep to a minimum of six cards due to postage. I am pretty easy going and not going to look up values on trades. If I have cards you want and you have cards I want, I am usually up for more of a 1:1 quantity trade assuming it's not me trading a bunch of SPs, serial numbered, etc, for base or junk wax. If you are going to quote Beckett pricing to me and not look at the actual market (e.g., card is listed on COMC for 1/2 of what Beckett says value is) then I am probably not the trade partner for you.  I prefer smaller PWE trades but will also do BMWT for larger trades or higher value cards. For my PWE, I will pack securely and use nonmachinable postage so your cards arrive safely.

Feel free to shoot me a trade proposal--small, medium, or large--and I'll follow up as soon as possible. I am usually quick to respond, but I can get busy during the work week. Trading commons for commons, stars for stars, RCs for RCs, etc....you know the drill.

My collecting interests include:

  • Set Building
  • Minnesota Twins
  • Brian Dozier (#1 rank on TCDB)

NOTE: I have various Chrome/Finest/Prizm cards on my wantlist. I will trade for them. But please don't offer them (or send them) if they are all scratched up. If you store these types of cards loose (without penny sleeve), then they are most likely scratched up. But if you store them sleeved, then we are good to go. I am not going to be putting them under a microscope and I am not expecting gem mint; I simply want nicely cared for cards.

Priority of my want lists:
1 - Any and all Phillies cards (almost anything not in my collection is a "want")
2 - Various set ventures (baseball - 1972 Topps, 2016 Topps Chrome, Archives, Heritage sets, then hockey sets)
3 - Baseball HOFers (1980s)
4 - Baseball HOFers (1970s)
5 - Baseball HOFers (1990s)
6 - Baseball HOFers (other decades)

If there are any other categories of want lists, they would fall between set completion and HOFers.

I have approx. 90,000 cards available for trade that have now been added to TCDB.

Note: I currently have transaction requests turned off. If they are turned on it's only to finalize a pre-authorized transaction. PLEASE DO NOT SEND TRADE PROPOSALS AT THIS TIME! I have 3 large trades that were waiting for the inventory to be loaded (described below). I have 3 others who were kind enough to send emails saying "hey, looks like we have matches", and 4 others have blindly sent full transactions through without asking. If anyone else sends a request through it will simply be declined and you will be asked to read my profile! I am currently filling a couple trades because some members were nice enough to have sent me stuff ahead of time. It's time for me to return the favor. Once those transactions are completed, then I'll open up the possibility to all. But I will take it slow because I don't have the time or patience to take on too many trades at once. When we do trade, please make it so that the postage to/from your location to mine makes a trade worthwhile for both of us. Thank you.

Please also note that I am very much open to selling as well. If you see stuff you want and don't have anything in return, that's okay. We'll work out a deal that will be fair for both of us, not just me (and not just you, please).

Thanks for reading my profile. I enjoy trading cards I don't need for those that I do. I've been in this hobby for many years (I remember opening 1955 Bowman packs at our local candy store)! I usually don't pull my end before making a proposal; most times, I'm trying to get a feel for how doable it is, and it saves me from having to refile cards if things fizzle out or if I'm countered.  I will, however, (usually) pull before accepting a trade.  Please counter, if need be!  Communication is key to good trading!   I have some physical limitations..it may take me a bit to pull cards so your patience is appreciated!

1.  My top priority is completing sets.

2.  Recent Phillies teamsets and inserts.  I do multiple teamsets to help local Philthies Phans!

3. Older Phillies teamset needs..all brands.

As mentioned, I love to trade, will reluctantly sell ... cheap, if we cannot swap!  PLMK what I have that you can't live without!  Phillies is my team, through thick and (mostly) thin!  PWE trades are great and assumed unless we agree otherwise - bubbles used if worth the shipping costs!  Slowing down though - the old body won't let me hoss those 5000 count boxes too much - thanks in advance for your patience with me!!

In general - STL Cardinals

Individual players in order of priority for me:

Allen Craig

Dylan Carlson

Trea Turner

Yordan Alvarez

Jack Flaherty

Luke Voit

Juan Soto

Topps flagship sets (S1, S2, US), currently working on 2000-2020.

Cardinals Topps Chrome team sets from 2000-current, including rookie autographs.

Topps flagship Cardinals photo variations from 2009-present, especially interested in legend variations (Musial, Gibson, Ozzie etc).

Always updating my want list and available for trade list, if I have something you want feel free to send me a message or a blank trade offer and I will do my best to find a match. Willing to do quantity for quality and vice versa, and always looking to make large trades of base cards to make room in my trader boxes and progress on sets. Cards not marked as available will only be traded for something of greater scarcity/value that I need for my PC.

My job occasionally requires me to travel and work long hours, so I may be slow responding to trade offers sometimes, however I will respond to every offer as soon as I am able to pull the requested cards and ensure I have them and they are still in acceptable condition. Most trades with less than 25 cards will be sent PWE unless there is a thick card, relic, or higher value card that is worth the postage for BMWT. I have no preference on how cards are mailed to me as long as they arrive without damage.

I trade mostly football, but there are a few hockey, basketball and baseball players from my childhood I might have a soft spot for.

High interest:

Rookies, autos and patches of Steelers and Oregon State Beavers or any of the players on my faves list.
Trying to complete collections for Barry Foster, Mike Hass, Ken Simonton, Ryan Nall and Steven Nelson.

Medium interest:

Rookies, autos and patches of other players I might like but have forgotten I liked.  Inserts or paralells of Steelers or players on my faves list.

Cards I have an inexplicable interest in:

Acetate cards, art cards, funky die-cuts, metal cards.

Anything in my trade bin I'm actively trying to move.  Cards in the collection are not off limits, but you might need to wow me.

I collect all Tampa Bay Rays cards with the goal of having all base cards and parallels numbered above 99. Also trying to get an autograph of every player to wear the uniform.

For my player collection, I picked Gavin Cecchini. He may have not amounted to much in the bigs, but it's still cool to collect an MLB player you went to school with. Currently ranked #1 on this site for his cards and always wanting the ones I don't have.

I'm also in the slow process of gaining a relic and autograph of every memeber in Cooperstown.

And I'm a major fan of 2016 Panini Pantheon Baseball. Silver foils preferred.

Feel free to message with offered for trade or buying. IG page of my collection coming soon.
