Stopped building sets in 09 and now have stopped chasing SFGiants/49ers in 2019. But still have lots of wants. Due to a generous divorce court had to return to work, so trading is still important to me but now pulling and mailing can only be done on thursday and fridays.

I am significantly downsizing my card collection.  Topps baseball (Angels & Dodgers) and Rams football only

Pre- 1980 Astros and Altuve.  Pre-1977 Baseball; Ty Cobb and Detroit Tigers in general. Catchers in gear and multi-bat cards are my favorite mini-collections. Only adding pre-1974 cards to these collections now.  I use TCDB to track my collections.

Aloha to all!

*******************************************************************

Although 2020 was a bummer for the little leaguers, we squeezed in a couple of abbreviated seasons in 2021.  Not sure how the kids are able to function at full capacity while wearing masks on and off the fields. Inventory levels are at nice, comfortable levels, as a few hundred cards were doled out to the kids last year but I was happily able to acquire many many more over the past couple years. Would like to make a little more headway on completing my vintage sets, as they took a back seat to picking up modern cards for the kids.  So please let me know if you have any of my '69-'76 needs and are ready to trade.

It has been a wonderful, busy, and fulfilling few years here!  In the past, I had to get creative in order to generate interest amongst my various little leaguers.  As most of my inventory consisted of players’ cards from before most of the kids were born.  Thanks to the traders here, Ive been able to distribute a bountiful amount of cards to the kids accompanied by a huge amount of joy!

Although the Altuve/Judge card (18T Update #79) has become too pricey to give to all of my Little Leaguers, it still remains one of my favorites. It looks just like a pic I have of 2 12-yr olds on one my former teams.  It’s a great inspirational card for the smaller kids.  Similarly, I can use an unlimited supply of Jim Abbott cards. Most every kid has a bad day in the field at some point in a season, practices/games..., so I’ll give them an Abbott card and ask them to look closely at it to tell me what they see (so no portrait poses or cards where it's hard to see he's missing a hand). Have yet to find a kid that isn't amazed!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Slowly transitioning out of football and basketball to focus on baseball.  Primarily building sets from childhood days, working my way back in time. Current primary focus is on completing 1968, 1969, 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1976 Topps baseball sets. I will always consider trading my 80s/90s inventory for modern all-star cards, I give them away to the 5-14 yr old kids on the little league teams I coach here in Hawaii.  But since we don’t have MLB here, the young kids won’t recognize the names unless they’re all-stars or Kolten Wong/Kiner-Talefa/Ohtani(I coached a couple seasons with Kolten/Kean's uncle and Isiah’s dad).  I basically use the tcdb pricing to balance out trades, not due to any preference, but for lack of anything else. I've heard alot of static about others trumpeting COMC, eBay, & Beckett, which is perfectly ok/understandable, but in almost every case, when referring to tcdb their trades come out heavily in their favor(have yet to see one the other way around).  I’m pretty open to all trades, but like trades to be fairly reasonable.  If a trade involves cards with large discrepancies in pricing, please don't be offended.  Point them out, and the trade can be adjusted or cards removed.

For those of you like me with monster boxes of 80’s/90’s, I will trade for multiples of 12-18 of HOFers or team/all-time record holders (as long as I can ask the little leaguers a relevant trivia question so the card can be a reward). Just message me, as I would not list such cards on my wantlist.

For traders who are missing 1 or 2 cards after accepting a trade, please make an effort to substitute with something similar.

I trade cards to build baseball, hockey, Canadian football and some non-sport sets, but I don't buy or sell cards. New cards are regularly added to my FT/S list.

All the cards I list here are NRMT or EX unless specified and I expect the same of you. I don't collect micro-variations (dots, stars, copyright marks, holograms, printing plate codes...), they're not fun to search and I dislike the incessant frequency with which new ones are added. I do all my best to check all my cards and to keep my lists up to date, but please ask me first, if micro-variations matter to you. I use painter's tape for all shipments and I am fine with shipping cards in single or multiple PWEs, if the cards are properly packaged. I don't mind large or small transactions, but I currently prefer trades with 10 to 20 cards going each way or at least that the cards carry more value than the postage.

Besides helping to complete our collections one step closer each time, the opportunity would be nice to have traded with all the states, provinces and territories of North America. On this site only, I traded with members in 45 states, D.C., 9 provinces, N.W.T. and overseas. I can't wait to have a trade in Alaska, Delaware, Nebraska, North Dakota, Wyoming, Manitoba, Nunavut and Yukon. However, if you don't live in the above juridictions, you're still more than welcome to trade with me. At this time, I prefer to trade with members in Canada, U.S. and U.K. only.

I'm an easy going, helpful and patient guy, but here's now my turn to announce that my NO TRADE LIST is growing due to an increased lack of civility on the forums and the full site. If (1) you nitpick and/or always have an opinion on anything and/or act like you own the site and you're not Admin or (2) you do not respond to counters or decline without expressing a reason or don't PM me to ask more time after several days of wait or (3) you send me ridiculous off-balanced offers or (4) you accept the trade and you can't mail your cards in a timely manner or you send me loose or damaged cards, then chances are that you just won a place on my NO TRADE LIST regardless of how much I want what you have. I continue to enjoy trading cards, but all the reasons above and the lack of opting out of micro-variations (just a default / any var. / unverified option for each card) are eroding my desire to contribute here. Also, don't forget that international shipping is very easy, but costs are more for BOTH traders (not just from the U.S.). Meanwhile, keep on trading!

Tip to save on shipping costs to Canada: use PWEs (Plain White Envelopes) and avoid bubble envelopes, plastic boxes and big stacks of cards. Ship as flat as you can (cut 9 pocket pages in 3 rows and insert 4-5 cards in each pocket). The more it looks like a greeting card or documents mailed in a regular letter instead of a package, the more it tends to be cheaper to ship. Current U.S. to Canada first class postage rate (up to 2 oz) is $1.30 and if non-machinable, $1.60. If you don't have Global Forever stamps handy, three regular Forever stamps work as well. There's also no need to pay $14.25 for shipping with international tracking, because it is too expensive and Canada Post won't track your postal item anyway. Overall, postal service tends to be slower in Canada and at times a bit harder difficult to predict, but it is as reliable as in the U. S.. I usually ship the same or the next business day, but Canada Post doesn't pick up or deliver on Saturday and Sunday.

A.S.

I have been very busy lately with personal resons, and do not have the time I woukd like to invest in this site. I will not be excepting trade propersals for in the near future.

I really enjoy trading and will entertain and try to work all offers. I also would like to maximies shipping, so if you are able please round up to the nearest 10.

If you are concerned about any variation please note it.

About two years ago, I woke up in the hospital from a two-week coma. I was diagnosed with having had bacterial meningitis. Thank goodness, I had a government job and was placed on disability. Needless to say I have a lot of time on my hands, so,I dusted off my old hockey card collection. I enjoy buying huge lots of cards, and going through them looking for shinny treasure. My biggest find so far was a Ovechkin Young Gun.

Do to medical reason, I have lost my  license. I rely on my wife to drop packages off in the mail. However, she works 4 on and 4 off, so if  we accept a trade, it might be few days before the cards get shipped. If you would like to wait until I ship my package before shipping yours, that is perfectly ok.

I am not a grader, but going by memory, I would say that 75% of my trade list s are in NM to to EX. If I pull a card that I do not consider to be in EX shape, not centered, or has marking or creases, I will let you know and give you a chance to exchange the card before shipping.

My collection is slowly being loaded. If you see a card you want, do not hesitate to ask for a trade. Only a few cards are keepers. Like the  Ovechkin Young Gun

I am new to this site, if I do something against house rules, please let me know.It is also very important to me to  keep a 100% satisfaction rating, if you are unastisfied, please let me know.

I am confident that I logged the variations correctly, but 1 or 2 might have slipped. The only exception is the upper deck holograms. The bacterial meningitis damaged my optical nerve in my right eye and find it difficult the see the hologram variation. If you are concerned about any variation please ask.

I have 2 boys under that are of  8, my wife works shift work, and I am trying to organize and upload thousands of card. If you haven't heard from me in 2 days, please send me a message. I have a brain injury and get distracted easily.

After reading all that and you still want to trade, bring it on.

I have baseball, football, basketball, hockey, racing, and marvel to trade---happy to trade across sports (and trying to acquire more hockey)

My wants:

  • Hockey: Pittsburgh Penguins (all eras), certified autographs, relics, Pinnacle Masks, enforcers, minor league hockey (all eras), Kirill Kaprizov of the Minnesota Wild (anything I don't have)
  • Baseball: relics of players from the 1990s and earlier, some 1990s inserts and parallels
  • Marvel: I'd love to finish my 1992 SkyBox Marvel Masterpieces set

Any size trade is fine; PWE works for me; if you see something you can't live without let me know

I collect: NBA, NHL, NASCAR, Star Wars, History, Military, DC Comics, Olympics, whatever interests me

Current project is trying to get at least one card of everyone to ever get one for NBA, NHL and NASCAR. Also working on getting at least one example of every set ever for the above sports. (Wantlists on Cardboard History)

I have some health problems that make it challenging for me to get to my trade stash. It makes me a slow trader as there are some days when I'm simply in too much pain to access the boxes. My health problems are not transferable so you do not need to fear catching anything from trading with me. I generally only can mail on Saturdays.

Trading:

I prefer to trade 1 card for 1 card. I do not care about any made up "book value". I will gladly trade more than one card for some as well...there are a few cards on my tradelist that I do need more than one card for in return though. I only put sets on my wantlist that are close to completion, so if you have something else in any of the three sports or the Non-Sports topics I focus on, odds are I will want it. Only reason I wouldn't is if I had it already.  If you don't have anything from the topics I mainly collect, but I have something you want, I will also accept football or baseball in trade, pretty much anything to get a trade done. I would prefer not to trade with smokers. I have breathing problems and cards that come from smokers are essentially useless to me, I cannot handle them. I prefer larger trades but will do any size at all.

I have tried to make sure all the cards on my Tradelist are problem free, with no corner dings, scratches or other flaws, but I am human and it's possible I may have missed something, but all cards sent out are cards you shouldn't need to worry about ever finding a replacement for. I don't demand problem free cards in return as my theory is that a damaged card is better than no card, but writing and paper loss means to me that I don't actually have that card so please don't offer them to me in trade.

If you don't care about condition, take a look through my "Damaged Cards" collection. These are all cards that I rejected from my tradelist for having flaws but they are available for trade. I would put them at one third a card "value" so 3 damaged cards vs. 1 of your cards. If you do want any of them, let me know and I will move them to my tradelist. I don't want to put them all there and cause matches for people expecting good cards and getting damaged cards in return. Some of the flaws are pretty big problems, some you will probably wonder why I didn't list it in my tradelist. While my collection doesn't demand perfection, I am very strict with condition on cards I send out in trade.

Trading Prioroties: (what makes me the happiest to get in trade, in no particular order)

  • 1995-96 and 1996-97 NBA Cards
  • 1994 NASCAR Cards
  • Any NASCAR card that actually focuses on the car
  • Automotive Non-Sport cards
  • New York Rangers
  • New York Knicks
  • New Jersey Nets (and Brooklyn and New York Nets, but the NJ era is my favorite
  • Elton Brand
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr.
  • Henrik Lundqvist
  • History related Non-Sports cards
  • Attractive women (with or without clothes)
  • Anything from Racing Champions I don't have
  • Team logo cards for NBA and NHL
  • Non-sports subjects in Allen & Ginter
  • People with last names starting with Q, U, Z and especially X.
  • With that said, I will trade for anything at any time, whether it's on my wantlist or not. I prefer "quantity" to "quality" and I'm a set builder at heart.

There are also a couple of specific sets I'm really hoping to complete some day:

  • 1996-97 Ultra (NBA), my favorite set ever
  • 1988 Leesley Bigfoot (the set that got me started collecting)
  • 2002-03 Topps Chrome Refractors (NBA) Refractors are my favorite parallel and this is the closest one to completion
  • 1994 Action Packed (NASCAR) tied for my favorite NASCAR set
  • 1989-90 Marine Midland New York Rangers (just need the cover card!)
  • 1993 & 1994 Skybox The Simpsons (One base card away from completion, also chasing inserts)
  • 1954 Topps Scoop (my favorite Non-Sport set ever)
  • 1953-54 Topps World on Wheels (my favorite automotive set ever)

Now considering all offers. Fully transparent with card conditions etc. Hoping to have a good experience trading on TCDB.

Primarily collecting Upper Deck 1999-00 to present

Just a couple tips to fellow traders.

Less tape: tape can just make it harder to open the package or get cards out of pages. A little bit is fine to keep things in place. The intention is to protect but difficult-to-remove tape can cause more potential for damage.

Put your cards in order in the sleeves, having them facing all directions and out of order is annoying, I'm sure I can't be the only person who feels this way.

Happy trading.

Any and all Braves cards from 1954 - Present (RIP Hank Aaron).

I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

Willing to trade just about anything for Braves cards......

Willing to trade inserts ,rookies etc but please try to offer the same in return or else your offer will probably get turned down.

Will trade Baseball for Hockey. ( I'm not really a baseball guy )

Prefer trades with 8 to 10 cards or more  just to make postage worth while.

PWE are fine with me for smaller trades.

What bothers me is people who don't leave feed back after a good trade.

I collect some of everything. Top focus are Cleveland Indians, Cavs, and Browns along with the Columbus Blue Jackets and Crew and Kasey Kahne.

I've figured out where my issues with trading has come from. I work at Amazon and my busy time and therefore the times I fail at trading are around Prime and the Holidays. I get back to working on everything about 2 weeks after these. I will keep this in mind this year and make sure I do not accept trades at that time of the year going forward. I'm working on fixing my trading reputation on this site. Thanks for the understanding and I will keep working on this.

I'm also in the process of reorganizing all my doubles so that it's easier and faster to get trades together. This will be a year long process as I'm still going through a mountain of boxes that I haven't catalogued.

I'm sports card collector from upstate, NY. I was born in raised in Vermont (which explains what I collect). I'm looking to narrow down my collection and build it up with the players I collect, so I'll be uploading my entire collection. I'm hoping this site and can help grow my collection.

Since shipping costs can get expensive, I will only accept/entertain offers for 5 or more cards each way unless the card is serial numbered or is BV over $5.00. I ship all trades PWE unless agreed otherwise. Canadian trades must be a minimum of 14 cards and no greater than 28 cards.  Thanks in advance.

Big trades, small PWEs, single card trades...I'm up for whatever. If you had a machine you could use for the same cost of one stamp and turn a card you don't care about into a card you do care about, your fingers would bleed from shoving quarters in that thing. Embrace small trades, they're fun!

• Working on low to mid grade 1970 through 1972 complete Topps baseball sets, but I'll take any condition just to complete these sets. I'm focusing on these right now and I hope to trade as much for these as I can. I will buy if the price is right. I'm over halfway on 1970-1972 with HOF and High #'s remaining.

• Detroit Tigers Topps Team Sets, including SP (Complete 1958 to present)

• Detroit Lions Topps and Donruss post 2015 Team Sets, including SP (Complete 1956 to present)

• West Michigan Whitecaps Team Sets (Complete 1994 to present)

• Topps Flagship Baseball Sets 1970 to present (Complete 1973 to present)

• Topps Flagship Football Sets (Complete 1981-1992 - missing 2 cards from 1986: Rice RC is one)

• Topps Traded/Update Sets (Complete 1974 to present)

• Topps Pro Debut Sets (Complete 2010 to present)

• MLB Mascots

• Any other local teams of interest - Grand Rapids Griffins, Muskegon Lumberjacks, Grand Rapids Rampage, Traverse City Beach Bums, Traverse City Pit Spitters, etc.

I've been very blessed in my trades and transactions here on TCDB. Thank you to all. I will trade vintage for modern and vice versa as long as there is roughly equal value felt on both sides. I am a set builder and collecter. I do not speculate on my cards for future value. I do this for fun, not for profit. I will sell, but only to build a small bank of money to use for buying cards I can't trade for. I've traded hundreds of cards each way and I've done many 1 for 1 trades, so no trade is too big or small for me.

In packaging, I use painter's tape ONLY. I try to use a photo mailer for small trades of about a dozen or less.  I use #10 PWE for trades up to about 2 dozen cards and maybe 2 PWE for 4 dozen.  After 50 cards, I typically will use a bubble mailer with tracking.  If it is 200 or more cards, they will likely be in a box well padded.

I’ve been collecting cards for over 46 years and have over 376,000 unique cards in my main collection, including some nice vintage stuff.  I collect older cards of the four major sports but lately I've been expanding to some more recent sets.  I'm primarily a Set Builder and I’m looking for other like-minded set builders to trade with.   I’ve accumulated tons of extra cards that I would like to trade away with almost 250,000 cards in my current For Trade list.  Big trades don't bother me. I have a huge Want List, so hopefully you have something I need.  Feel free to make me an offer.

For Canadian Traders: It's expensive for me to trade across the border.  Going forward I would like to limit cross border trades to two (2) PWEs. That's about 54 standard-size cards.  Thanks.

Update on Donruss/Leaf * Variations and Upper Deck Holo Variations:
I can't guaranty the junk wax era Donruss/Leaf cards and the UD holo variations are listed with the correct variation.  Going forward I will no longer check the variations on these cards.  If you want these cards regardless of the variations, feel free to request them in the trade.  Howver, If you want a specific variation of these cards, I'm no longer your guy - please don't put them in the trade request.  For all other cards that have variations, I will contniue to check and make sure you get the correct one.

Note on Vintage Cards:
I have over 7,500 vintage cards listed for trade (I consider vintage to be 1977 or earlier).  For each card I've noted a condition grade and if you check closer, a note on each regarding any condition issues (be sure to select the correct one if multiple cards are shown).  Please note that I'm by no means a professional grader and if you're hyper-sensitive on card condition, please message me first and I'd be happy talk about it.  In exchange for these cards I have three priorities:

  • 1) similar vintage cards that I need (any sport)
  • 2) inserts for my 90s sets that I need (any sport)
  • 3) or non-junk era base cards that i need as a last resort (any sport)

Note on Card ConditionA card noted as Pr, Fr, Gd, or GdVg will have some obvious condition issues such as creasing, corner wear, or marks.  I would consider them place holders in a collection at best (I've listed them because some people do want place holders).  A VG card will usually be a clean card with some corner wear or a centering issue.  For me, VG would be the bare minimum for my personal collection.  EX will be nice sharp card and VgEx will be something just between VG and Ex, still a nice card with a small issue that prevents it from being EX.  NM in vintage is a tough find.

***PLEASE NOTE - I will not be accepting trades from members based in the United States for the foreseeable future.  This is due to the US Postal Service offering only the most expensive rates to Australia currently.  Please do not send me a trade request if you are based in the US (unless you are happy to pay the postage costs).

Also, for trades to members based in France, I will only be accepting small PWE trades given the changes to postal regulations in both countries.

Numerous others well over half... check out my don't haves in my collection

I have a bunch of used toploaders I would be happy to sell/trade if anyone is wanting some.  Very affordable...I just need them gone!  Make an offer and I'm likely to accept!

Now the #1 collector of Ryan Klesko cards on TCDB!  With more to come!

PC: Ryan Klesko, Dale Murphy, Dave Winfield, Dominique Wilkins, Michael Conforto, Adley Rutschman, Nick Madrigal, Trevor Larnach, Cadyn Grenier, Drew Rasmussen, Gary Payton II, some rookie/early Bo Jackson, rookie/early/unique Eric Lindros, rookie/early Junior Seau. Looking for any Oregon State Univ alum in OSU or Team USA gear (AC Green, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Jacoby Ellsbury, Steven Jackson, Gary Payton, Nick Barnett, Matt Moore, Ochocinco/Chad Johnson, Sean Mannion, Johnny Hekker, Darwin Barney, etc).

PLEASE SEND TRADE OFFERS.  It's my favorite part of the hobby.  Always willing to negotiate a good deal for both sides.  One card, or 10+ cards.  I'm fine with any size.

I do NOT collect/keep any other cards of any other players/teams.  If the card isn't a unique card to me of one of my guys above, it's not something I will keep.  I don't want duplicates either.  I'll trade it or sell it if it's something I think I can move; otherwise, no thanks.  But I DO want any card of any of my PC guys if I don't already have it.  My trade/sell and want/wish lists are updated, so if it's not on those lists, it's highly unlikely that I'm interested in it, or I already own it.

Fan of: all OSU sports, Braves, Red Sox, Blazers, Chargers, Flyers, Timbers, Tottenham FC.

Goal for VINTAGE ONLY CARDS (condition NOT very important...just no rips/tears, no writing on the front...some creases ok): Hank Aaron (preferably in a Milwaukie uniform, but not required), Mickey Mantle pre-1965 (earlier the better), Babe Ruth any year, Joe DiMaggio any year, Ted Williams pre-1955, Jackie Robinson any year and Stan Musial pre-1958.  Prefer to stay as cheap as possible, but for the right card might go a little higher...obviously Mantle and those guys would be more.  Again, condition I know won't be great at these prices.  But I have a Roberto Clemente, Bob Gibson, Ernie Banks, Sandy Koufax and a Willie Mays at these levels, and a few of Ted Williams, that I'm very happy with.

  • I will typcially send cards via PWE unless the quantity is above 20 and then I will send BMWT.  If you wish a smaller trade to be sent BMWT, please adjust the trade accordingly.

TCDB rankings as of 3/8/22:

Murphy (11th), Klesko (1st), Winfield (6th), Conforto (1st), Madrigal (2nd), Rutschman (1st), Yovan (1st), Larnach (1st), Grenier (1st), Drew Rasmussen (2nd), D. Wilkins (3rd), S Jackson (106th), Gary Payton II (1st), Jacquizz Rodgers (14th).

VERY willing to trade/negotiate.  I live to trade...send me all trade requests!  Would prefer trades to purchases, although I know my PC is pretty limited in the grand scheme of things.  Just getting back to the hobby after approx 30 years out of it, and about 17 years after selling off 99% of it to pay for our wedding.  I forgot how much I loved it!

Update 4/16/2022: Setting aside some time to jump back into some trades!

---

RefsIntheBack is short for referees-in-the-background. I am trying to 1) collect (two of) every basketball card with a referee's face visible and 2) identify each referee.

I love PWE trades. *Warning* I am a slow processor and transactions take me a long time sometimes, mostly because I do most of my card "work" over the weekend.

Thank you, thank you,

- Randy

I am open to collecting anything that is on my Wantlist.  I will trade for 1 card or for 200 cards if it's what we both need.  This is a hobby for me so I'm just here to have fun.  Make an offer and let's complete some sets!  I check the site on a regular basis and will send out any trades within a couple of days of being finalized.  I will trade Worldwide so don't hesitate to make an offer.

Thanks

Trading back on after a few days away.

I use this site strictly for tradingIf I do want to buy something off of you, I will approach you.

  • Set collecting is my current focus.  I'm working on the A&G run from 2006-present, and the O-Pee-Chee hockey run from 2006-07 to present.
  • Also working on a quartet of 2008 UD Baseball Heroes parallel sets (Black, Emerald, Navy Blue and Red)
  • I have no problem trading across sports (baseball for football, football for hockey, etc.)
  • I do have several player collections as well.
  • Side collections:  Cards serial #'d/99 that are purchased for less than $2.50

If I have something on my trade list you want and you can't find something on my want list?  Serial #'d cards are always welcome.

December 31, 2021 - I have turned trading back on as some are asking for trades. This does not change my opinion stated below.

I will continue to accept PWE trades that have at least 12 cards coming my way (or something pretty special) but continue to prefer larger trades, i.e. 300+ cards each direction. My VAR are double checked, at the time I listed it and again when I pull it for trade, to make sure you get the right one. I do ask that you do the same, especially in the parallel sets (I have received too many base cards when the parallel was offered). My lists are my priorities; if you offer me some of those, then I will be happier to accept.  If you don't bother checking my priorities and just offer me several from the same set just because it is easier for you and I find you have several from my lists, then it is just as easy for me to decline your laziness. I will help you if you help me.

As of December 31, 2021 I have sent 58,314 cards in trade, sales or PIF to other members; in return, I have received 50,152. Thanks to all the good traders on this site, especially those who have learned how to economize shipping across the border, approximately $1.80 for a PWE with 18 cards in it.

--------------------------------------------

December 4, 2021 - Today I have turned off my trading, not because I need to organize my collection or anything like that but because this site and its elitist clique have finally driven me to the point where I need to step away from the majority of what goes on here on TCDb.

It is a shame that a site that has rejuvenated the hobby for so many collectors can also drive away some long time collectors. Over the years I have watched the changes happening on this site that has taken it from the greatest collecting site on the internet to merely a decent tool to track one's collection. I have also watched many of the better members on this site who were always there to help answer questions for new members, no longer be active in the forums all because they were also sickened by some of those most active there. I have read so many rude responses to queries by new members in the Forums that I wonder why anyone new to the site would even stay. Seven years ago when I first registered, it was not like this. In the last 2 years I have seen enough hatred and anger expressed in the forums to match Facebook.

I used to contribute where I could to help this site.  Uploading checklists, scanning cards and uploading images, fixing notes, submitting IR to have things corrected that I could not.  Slowly my desire to help was eroded by those who want to have total control over the site. I believe their wish is to eliminate all others who are not in the clique from being able to do anything here as they believe they are the only ones who know everything in the hobby. They quickly deter new members from participating with their aggressive responses in the Forums and they find ways to block older members who may voice things against their ideas.

Well done guys; you've succeeded in silencing another one.

We are back, And wow. Over 20+ trades waiting.. If you don't mind waiting then please send trades. Love the trading spirit of the site. Jeff

I am back trading  Life decided to get in the way but will keep trading to keep everything as fun as possible for my sons and I. They both help me with trades as to help with home schooling and cause we enjoy spending time and doing it together. Bright spot of the day is when trade comes in so they can pull the cards and help verify the condition and if the count is correct.

My 11 yr old son has got my passion back, looking for pretty much everything and have many duplicates that I hope you can use. Check back often as I buy and trade a lot. I am not opposed to any "FAIR" trade.

PWE's welcome

HELLO EVERYONE!

WELCOME TO MY NECK OF THE WOODS!

First off I have to get this out there...                                              I am willing to trade, but life does get in the way sometimes and that does interfere with my fun, and stress relief of collecting. Please understand this, so if I don't respond right away, it doesn't mean I haven't seen your proposal.  I have a few that are not understanding this so if I feel that it continues I will turn off my Trade/Sale List.

Please keep trades a max of 12 cards or less and I do PWE.

IF YOU ARE WANTING TO DO A BIG TRADE PLEASE MESSAGE ME BEFORE PROPOSING ONE!

Plus, I like to check to make sure I have the cards you are looking for before accepting trades.  Yes the site states I have it but I like to double check as I am finding errors in my list.

Anyhow, hope to here from ya!

"ULTIMATE END GAME OF MY COLLECTING!"

  • 1966-1967 TOPPS HOCKEY (CDN VERSION)

(At this time I do not have card #35 - Bobby Orr - RC. If you are an individual or a store and have it for sale or willing to trade please PM me and we can try and make a deal.)

  • If you see something you need or want give me a shout.  I always look at a trade to make things work, even if I don't have it on my want list, which keeps changing!
  • At the same time I am willing to help out fellow collectors to complete their collections and look for cards they can't find!  So if I don't have it, I will try and find it for you.
  • For collectors that don't like trading and would rather buy, all cards on my Trade List are For Sale. Message me what you are looking at and we can go from there.

I'm all about the O-Pee-Chee (All Sports and Non Sports) + some Soccer and the occasional oddballs that catch my eye.

Love trading and will always try to find something to make it work. My trade lists goes up and down as I buy lots from garage sales/auctions/kijiji etc and then try to trade the pieces for more O-Pee-Chee goodness.

Please don't bother asking for things not on my trade list. If they're in my collection then they are in my collection for a reason.

Your goals: If you need any cards from my trade lists, feel free to send a trade proposal. Even if you don't have anything on my want lists to send in return, let me know anyway. I'm always willing to try and figure something out, and I'm trying to get my trade lists down to zero cards.

I have been donating or selling most of my collection. I have not had time to update the database currently. If there is something of interest and I still have it I will trade for it or maybe even just send it out. I don't check in often but do check in so feel free to send a request for a trade.

Priority of my want lists:
1 - Any and all Phillies cards (almost anything not in my collection is a "want")
2 - Various set ventures (baseball - 1972 Topps, 2014 Topps 1989 die-cut minis, Archives, Heritage sets, then hockey sets)
3 - Baseball HOFers (1980s)
4 - Baseball HOFers (1970s)
5 - Baseball HOFers (1990s)
6 - Baseball HOFers (other decades)

If there are any other categories of want lists, they would fall between set completion and HOFers.

I have 60,000 - 80,000 cards available for trade that have not listed yet. If you have something on my want list, please drop me a note and we'll see if I have anything you're looking for.

Note: I have currently stopped accepting transaction requests. This does not mean I am not open to trades. My collections are still not complete on here and I have 60,000 - 80,000 cards to add to my FS/FT list. As previously mentioned, drop me a note if you have a bunch of items on my wantlist and would like to see if we could work something out. Please make it so that the postage to/from your location to mine makes a trade worthwhile for both of us. Thank you.
