Stopped building sets in 09 and now have stopped chasing SFGiants/49ers in 2019. But still have lots of wants. Due to a generous divorce court had to return to work, so trading is still important to me but now pulling and mailing can only be done on fridays and saturdays.

I am significantly downsizing my card collection.  Topps baseball (Angels & Dodgers) and Rams football only

Currently not trading or buying at this time.  Pre- 1980 Astros and Altuve.  Pre-1977 Baseball; Ty Cobb and Detroit Tigers in general. Catchers in gear and multi-bat cards are my favorite mini-collections. Only adding pre-1974 cards to these collections now.  I use TCDB to track my collections.

Eager to resume trading in 2023 after essentially taking 2022 off.

I collect for pleasure.  My collection focuses primarily on teams and players that have meaning to me and often carry a sense of nostalgia.  When I resumed collecting in 2017, after a 20 year hiatus, I assumed I could attempt to collect everything.  Big mistake.  As a result, my Want List is vast, but my true priorities are as follows:

  • Former Michigan Wolverines.  Basically, anyone who played basketball or football at Michigan since the mid-80s.  Chris Webber and Charles Woodson are my #1a and #1b targets.
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo and members of the 2020-21 Bucks title team
  • Members of the 2010, 2013, and 2015 Blackhawks Stanley Cup teams
  • Alabama Crimson Tide football players from 2005 to present
  • 1990s basketball cards - hoping to complete sets from the Bulls dynasty years
  • Garbage Pail Kids specifically of Pete (Peter, Petey, etc), Harper, and Owen

As far as trading, I try to keep it as simple as possible:

  • Keep shipping costs to a minimum.  Big PWE fan.  Also a fan of the "cereal box" for larger trades.
  • Try to make it cost-effective.  Trading two junk wax commons is not worth the cost of the stamp to me.
  • Try to keep it "fair" (base-for-base, insert/parallel-for-insert/parallel)
  • If your offer consists primarily of cards from the areas in which I am most interested, I will likely accept without hesitation.   Otherwise, I will review your For Trade offerings and counter with cards I would prefer.
  • Happy to trade internationally, but the cards need to justify the added shipping cost

Thank you and happy collecting.

Aloha to all!

Inventory levels are at nice, comfortable levels, as several  hundred cards were doled out to the kids last year but I was happily able to acquire many many more over the past couple years. Would like to make a little more headway on completing my vintage sets, as they took a back seat to picking up modern cards for the kids.  So please let me know if you have any of my '69-'76 needs and are ready to trade. Since all the kids are clamoring for Ohtani and my inventory levels are pretty good for most everything else, I will try to pick up as many affordable Ohtanis you are willing to trade away, then expand any trade from there.

It has been a wonderful, busy, and fulfilling few years here!  In the past, I had to get creative in order to generate interest amongst my various little leaguers.  As most of my inventory consisted of players’ cards from before most of the kids were born.  Thanks to the traders here, Ive been able to distribute a bountiful amount of cards to the kids accompanied by a huge amount of joy!

Although the Altuve/Judge card (18T Update #79) has become too pricey to give to all of my Little Leaguers, it still remains one of my favorites. It looks just like a pic I have of 2 12-yr olds on one my former teams.  It’s a great inspirational card for the smaller kids.  Similarly, I can use an unlimited supply of Jim Abbott cards. Most every kid has a bad day in the field at some point in a season, practices/games..., so I’ll give them an Abbott card and ask them to look closely at it to tell me what they see (so no portrait poses or cards where it's hard to see he's missing a hand). Have yet to find a kid that isn't amazed!

Slowly transitioning out of football and basketball to focus on baseball.  Primarily building sets from childhood days, working my way back in time. Current primary focus is on completing 1968, 1969, 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1976 Topps baseball sets. I will always consider trading my 80s/90s inventory for modern all-star cards, I give them away to the 5-14 yr old kids on the little league teams I coach here in Hawaii.  But since we don’t have MLB here, the young kids won’t recognize the names unless they’re all-stars or Kolten Wong/Kiner-Talefa/Ohtani(I coached a couple seasons with Kolten/Kean's uncle and Isiah’s dad).  I basically use the tcdb pricing to balance out trades, not due to any preference, but for lack of anything else. I've heard alot of static about others trumpeting COMC, eBay, & Beckett, which is perfectly ok/understandable, but in almost every case, when referring to tcdb their trades come out heavily in their favor(have yet to see one the other way around).  I’m pretty open to all trades, but like trades to be fairly reasonable.  If a trade involves cards with large discrepancies in pricing, please don't be offended.  Point them out, and the trade can be adjusted or cards removed.

For those of you like me with monster boxes of 80’s/90’s, I will trade for multiples of 12-18 of HOFers or team/all-time record holders (as long as I can ask the little leaguers a relevant trivia question so the card can be a reward). Just message me, as I would not list such cards on my wantlist.

For traders who are missing 1 or 2 cards after accepting a trade, please make an effort to substitute with something similar.

Quote:   For 1971 and earlier, I am looking for EX+, 1970s - EX/MT+, 1980s-modern - NM+. Please let me know what your grade standards are for 1970s and earlier cards.Everything I have listed FT from 1980 to modern is EX/NM+.I have other unlisted 60s/70s in VG/EX.

I trade cards to build baseball, hockey and some miscellaneous sports / non-sport sets. I do not buy cards. I also have a sweet spot for oddball / food issue / regional sets. New cards are regularly added to my FT/S list and all the cards I list here are NRMT or EX unless specified and I expect the same of you.

I don't collect micro-variations (dots, stars, copyright marks, holograms, printing plate codes...), they're not fun to search and I dislike the incessant frequency with which new ones are added. Seriously, what's the point if you gotta need to use a magnifier glass to check out if there's a dot on the back of a 1991 Fleer? However, I do all my best to check all my cards and to keep my lists up to date, but please ask me first, if micro-variations matter to you. The site really needs some way of opting out of micro-variations (just a default / any var. / unverified option for each card).

Besides helping to complete our collections one step closer each time, the opportunity would be nice to have traded with all the states, provinces and territories of North America. On this site only, I traded with members in 46 states, D.C., 9 provinces, N.W.T. and overseas. I can't wait to have a trade in Alaska, Delaware, North Dakota, Wyoming, Manitoba, Nunavut and Yukon. However, if you don't live in the above juridictions, you're still more than welcome to trade with me. At this time, I prefer to trade with members in Canada, U.S. and U.K. only, but I am not saying an absolute no to other countries.

I'm an easy going, helpful and patient guy, but here's now my turn to announce that my NO TRADE LIST is growing due to an increased lack of civility on the forums and the full site. If (1) you nitpick and/or always have an opinion on anything and/or act like you own the site and you're not Admin or (2) you do not respond to counters or decline without expressing a reason or don't PM me to ask more time after several days of wait or (3) you send me ridiculous off-balanced offers or (4) you accept the trade and you can't mail your cards in a timely manner or you send me loose or severly damaged cards or (5) have a brand new (empty) account without info / feedback and ask for valuable cards or (6) you clearly didn't read my profile (ask first, at least) and ask me to buy your cards, then chances are that you just won a place on my NO TRADE LIST regardless of how much I may want what you have.

I am fine with shipping cards in single or multiple PWEs, if the cards are properly packaged. Also, I don't mind large or small transactions, but I currently prefer trades with 10 to 20 cards going each way or at least that the cards carry more value than the postage. I usually ship the same or the next business day. Just remember that Canada Post doesn't pick up or deliver on Saturday and Sunday.

International shipping is very easy, but it costs more for BOTH traders (not just from the U.S.). Here are some tips to save on shipping costs to Canada: use PWEs (Plain White Envelopes) and avoid bubble envelopes, plastic boxes and big stacks of cards. Ship as flat as you can (cut 9 pocket pages in 3 rows and insert 4-5 cards in each pocket). The more it looks like a greeting card or documents mailed in a regular letter instead of a package, the more it tends to be cheaper to ship. Current U.S. to Canada first class postage rate (up to 2 oz) is $1.40 and if non-machinable, $1.79. If you don't have Global Forever stamps handy, three regular Forever stamps work as well. There's also no need to pay $14.85 for shipping with international tracking, because it is just too expensive, it will be way slower to arrive and Canada Post won't track your postal item anyway. Overall, postal service tends to be slower in Canada and at times a bit harder to predict, but it is as reliable as in the U. S.. Lastly, no cross-border shipping by Fedex or UPS: they charge $40.00+ custom brokerage on each and every package they handle no matter if it is duty free or not.

I collect: NBA, NHL, NASCAR, Star Wars, History, Military, DC Comics, Olympics, whatever interests me

Current project is trying to get at least one card of everyone to ever get one for NBA, NHL and NASCAR. Also working on getting at least one example of every set ever for the above sports. (Wantlists on Cardboard History)

I have some health problems that make it challenging for me to get to my trade stash. It makes me a slow trader as there are some days when I'm simply in too much pain to access the boxes. My health problems are not transferable so you do not need to fear catching anything from trading with me. I generally only can mail on Saturdays.

I prefer to trade 1 card for 1 card. I do not care about any made up "book value". I will gladly trade more than one card for some as well...there are a few cards on my tradelist that I do need more than one card for in return though. I only put sets on my wantlist that are close to completion, so if you have something else in any of the three sports or the Non-Sports topics I focus on, odds are I will want it. Only reason I wouldn't is if I had it already.  If you don't have anything from the topics I mainly collect, but I have something you want, I will also accept football or baseball in trade, pretty much anything to get a trade done. I would prefer not to trade with smokers. I have breathing problems and cards that come from smokers are essentially useless to me, I cannot handle them. I prefer larger trades but will do any size at all.

I have tried to make sure all the cards on my Tradelist are problem free, with no corner dings, scratches or other flaws, but I am human and it's possible I may have missed something, but all cards sent out are cards you shouldn't need to worry about ever finding a replacement for. I don't demand problem free cards in return as my theory is that a damaged card is better than no card, but writing and paper loss means to me that I don't actually have that card so please don't offer them to me in trade.

If you don't care about condition, take a look through my "Damaged Cards" collection. These are all cards that I rejected from my tradelist for having flaws but they are available for trade. I would put them at one third a card "value" so 3 damaged cards vs. 1 of your cards. If you do want any of them, let me know and I will move them to my tradelist. I don't want to put them all there and cause matches for people expecting good cards and getting damaged cards in return. Some of the flaws are pretty big problems, some you will probably wonder why I didn't list it in my tradelist. While my collection doesn't demand perfection, I am very strict with condition on cards I send out in trade.

Trading Prioroties: (what makes me the happiest to get in trade, in no particular order)

  • 1995-96 and 1996-97 NBA Cards
  • 1994 NASCAR Cards
  • Any NASCAR card that actually focuses on the car
  • Automotive Non-Sport cards
  • New York Rangers
  • New York Knicks
  • New Jersey Nets (and Brooklyn and New York Nets, but the NJ era is my favorite
  • Elton Brand
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr.
  • Henrik Lundqvist
  • History related Non-Sports cards
  • Attractive women (with or without clothes)
  • Anything from Racing Champions I don't have
  • Team logo cards for NBA and NHL
  • Non-sports subjects in Allen & Ginter
  • People with last names starting with Q, U, Z and especially X.
  • With that said, I will trade for anything at any time, whether it's on my wantlist or not. I prefer "quantity" to "quality" and I'm a set builder at heart.

There are also a couple of specific sets I'm really hoping to complete some day:

  • 1996-97 Ultra (NBA), my favorite set ever
  • 1988 Leesley Bigfoot (the set that got me started collecting)
  • 2002-03 Topps Chrome Refractors (NBA) Refractors are my favorite parallel and this is the closest one to completion
  • 1994 Action Packed (NASCAR) tied for my favorite NASCAR set
  • 1989-90 Marine Midland New York Rangers (just need the cover card!)
  • 1993 & 1994 Skybox The Simpsons (One base card away from completion, also chasing inserts)
  • 1954 Topps Scoop (my favorite Non-Sport set ever)
  • 1953-54 Topps World on Wheels (my favorite automotive set ever)

Now considering all offers.

Fully transparent with card conditions etc. Hoping to have a good experience trading on TCDB.

Primarily collecting Upper Deck 1999-00 to present

Just a couple tips to fellow traders:

Less tape: tape can just make it harder to open the package or get cards out of pages. A little bit is fine to keep things in place. The intention is to protect but difficult-to-remove tape can cause more potential for damage.

Put your cards in order in the sleeves, having them facing all directions and out of order is annoying, I'm sure I can't be the only person who feels this way.

Happy trading.

Any and all Braves cards from 1954 - Present (RIP Hank Aaron).

I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

Willing to trade just about anything for Braves cards......

My main Interest is in trading for Toronto Maple Leaf cards first.

Willing to trade inserts ,rookies etc but please try to offer the same in return or else your offer will probably get turned down.

Will trade Baseball for Hockey. ( I'm not really a baseball guy )

Prefer trades with 8 to 10 cards or more  just to make postage worth while.

PWE are fine with me for smaller trades.

What bothers me is people who don't leave feed back after a good trade.

Only want to do smaller trades at the moment (1-15 cards). I will be willing to do trades of a larger size but I may need pointers on how to ship them as I haven't done any deals of that size yet. Trades 15 cards or under will be shipped in PWE unless otherwise agreed upon. Above that will most likely be bubble mailer or bigger. Only trading in Canada and the United Sates at the moment. I am currently sorting out my collection so once I finish that I will be accepting proposals again. Also willing to sell anywhere in the world. Paypal only

I'm sports card collector from upstate, NY. I was born in raised in Vermont (which explains what I collect). I'm looking to narrow down my collection and build it up with the players I collect, so I'll be uploading my entire collection. I'm hoping this site and can help grow my collection.

Since shipping costs can get expensive, I will only accept/entertain offers for 5 or more cards each way unless the card is serial numbered or is BV over $5.00. I ship all trades PWE unless agreed otherwise. Canadian trades must be a minimum of 14 cards and no greater than 28 cards.  Thanks in advance.

Big trades, small PWEs, single card trades...I'm up for whatever. If you had a machine you could use for the same cost of one stamp and turn a card you don't care about into a card you do care about, your fingers would bleed from shoving quarters in that thing. Embrace small trades, they're fun!

Please note I live in Canada, but use a US address for shipping for US residents to void delays in shipping and costs. This means I don’t receive your cards for 4-6 weeks.

• Working on low to mid grade 1970 through 1972 complete Topps baseball sets, but I'll take any condition just to complete these sets. I'm focusing on these right now and I hope to trade as much for these as I can. I will buy if the price is right. I'm over halfway on 1970-1972 with HOF and High #'s remaining.

• Detroit Tigers Topps Team Sets, including SP (Complete 1958 to present)

• Detroit Lions Topps and Donruss post 2015 Team Sets, including SP (Complete 1956 to present)

• West Michigan Whitecaps Team Sets (Complete 1994 to present)

• Topps Flagship Baseball Sets 1970 to present (Complete 1973 to present)

• Topps Flagship Football Sets (Complete 1981-1992)

• Topps Traded/Update Sets (Complete 1974 to present)

• Topps Pro Debut Sets (Complete 2010 to present)

• MLB Mascots

• Any other local teams of interest - Grand Rapids Griffins, Muskegon Lumberjacks, Grand Rapids Rampage, Traverse City Beach Bums, Traverse City Pit Spitters, etc.

I've been very blessed in my trades and transactions here on TCDB. Thank you to all. I will trade vintage for modern and vice versa as long as there is roughly equal value felt on both sides. I am a set builder and collecter. I do not speculate on my cards for future value. I do this for fun, not for profit. I will sell, but only to build a small bank of money to use for buying cards I can't trade for. I've traded hundreds of cards each way and I've done many 1 for 1 trades, so no trade is too big or small for me.

In packaging, I use painter's tape ONLY. I try to use a photo mailer for small trades of about a dozen or less.  I use #10 PWE for trades up to about 2 dozen cards and maybe 2 PWE for 4 dozen.  After 50 cards, I typically will use a bubble mailer with tracking.  If it is 200 or more cards, they will likely be in a box well padded.

I’ve been collecting cards for over 46 years and have over 435,000 unique cards in my main collection, including some nice vintage stuff.  I collect older cards of the four major sports but lately I've been expanding to some more recent sets.  I'm primarily a Set Builder and I’m looking for other like-minded set builders to trade with.   I’ve accumulated tons of extra cards that I would like to trade away with almost 250,000 cards in my current For Trade list.  Big trades don't bother me. I have a huge Want List, so hopefully you have something I need.  Feel free to make me an offer.

For Canadian Traders: It's expensive for me to trade across the border.  Going forward I would like to limit cross border trades to two (2) PWEs. That's about 54 standard-size cards.  Thanks.

For Anyone Outside US/Canada: The increased postal rates have made it impossible for me to trade outside North America cheaply.  So going forward I will have to decline trades from outside US/Canada.  Sorry about that.

Update on Donruss/Leaf * Variations and Upper Deck Holo Variations:
I can't guaranty the junk wax era Donruss/Leaf cards and the UD holo variations are listed with the correct variation.  Going forward I will no longer check the variations on these cards.  If you want these cards regardless of the variations, feel free to request them in the trade.  Howver, If you want a specific variation of these cards, I'm no longer your guy - please don't put them in the trade request.  For all other cards that have variations, I will contniue to check and make sure you get the correct one.

Note on Vintage Cards:
I have over 6,000 vintage cards listed for trade (I consider vintage to be 1977 or earlier).  For each card I've noted a condition grade and if you check closer, a note on each regarding any condition issues (be sure to select the correct one if multiple cards are shown).  Please note that I'm by no means a professional grader and if you're hyper-sensitive on card condition, please message me first and I'd be happy talk about it.  In exchange for these cards I have three priorities:

  • 1) similar vintage cards that I need (any sport)
  • 2) inserts for my 90s sets that I need (any sport)
  • 3) or non-junk era base cards that i need as a last resort (any sport)

Note on Card ConditionA card noted as Pr, Fr, Gd, or GdVg will have some obvious condition issues such as creasing, corner wear, or marks.  I would consider them place holders in a collection at best (I've listed them because some people do want place holders).  A VG card will usually be a clean card with some corner wear or a centering issue.  For me, VG would be the bare minimum for my personal collection.  EX will be nice sharp card and VgEx will be something just between VG and Ex, still a nice card with a small issue that prevents it from being EX.  NM in vintage is a tough find.

I suffered a brain injury a
few years ago and multitasking does not come easy now. I became overwhelmed with all
the trades I was working on and didn't log on for a few months I would like to start over slowly with the send trade offer offer .If you would like to propose a trade, please send me a message.

A minor ding in a corner is not a deal braker for me. I will let you know of anything greater than a minor ding in the card you will be receiving. I would appreciate the same in return. If this or anything else goes against community standards, please let me know.

If you know of any other sites lile this, please let me know.

Hockey, wrestling. My son and I are trying to complete a few cheap sets.

Only trading within Canada at the moment. All trades are in PWE. I will never send cards in a condition that I wouldn't be content to receive myself, and the cards I'm trading are real cheapies for the most part. Having said that, if you're especially concerned with condition, please let me know beforehand and I will give you my honest assessment.

Personal hockey collection includes former Peterborough Petes and players born in and around Peterborough (Yzerman, Eric and Jordan Staal, Ricci, Stillman, Fisher, Pronger, Bogosian, Kassian, Langenbrunner, Larmer, Tugnutt, Larry Murphy etc).

Personal wrestling collection includes Bret Hart, Randy Savage, Bobby Roode, Ted DiBiase, Tito Santana, Jake Roberts, Mr. Perfect

If you think you have something I might like that isn't on my want list, feel free to propose something anyway.

Open to trades from Canada, the US, and beyond! I generally ship PWE (well wrapped and packaged, of course) unless otherwise agreed to.

For 90-91 Upper Deck, I may not have the correct variation listed... I only have so much time with cards, and don't want to be squinting and staring, trying to differentiate for every card from this set I have listed. If this is important to you, please let me know which cards you'd like checked.

I have a bunch of used toploaders I would be happy to sell/trade if anyone is wanting some.  Very affordable...I just need them gone!  Make an offer, help me cover shipping and I'm likely to accept!

Now the #1 collector of Ryan Klesko cards on TCDB!  With more to come!

PC: Ryan Klesko, Dale Murphy, Dave Winfield, Dominique Wilkins, Michael Conforto, Adley Rutschman, Nick Madrigal, Trevor Larnach, Cadyn Grenier, Drew Rasmussen, Gary Payton II, Junior Seau, some rookie/early Bo Jackson, rookie/early/unique Eric Lindros, rookie/early Junior Seau. Looking for any Oregon State Univ alum in OSU or Team USA gear (AC Green, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Jacoby Ellsbury, Steven Jackson, Gary Payton, Nick Barnett, Matt Moore, Ochocinco/Chad Johnson, Sean Mannion, Johnny Hekker, Darwin Barney, Steven Kwan, Jake Luton, Jermar Jefferson, Hamilcar Rashed Jr, etc).

PLEASE SEND TRADE OFFERS.  It's my favorite part of the hobby.  Always willing to negotiate a good deal for both sides.  One card, or 10+ cards.  I'm fine with any size.  USA & Canada only, unless the card is significant enough to me to ship overseas.

I do NOT collect/keep any other cards of any other players/teams.  If the card isn't a unique card to me of one of my guys above, it's not something I will keep.  I don't want duplicates either.  I'll trade it or sell it if it's something I think I can move; otherwise, no thanks.  But I DO want any card of any of my PC guys if I don't already have it.  My trade/sell and want/wish lists are updated, so if it's not on those lists, it's highly unlikely that I'm interested in it, or I already own it.

Fan of: all OSU sports, Braves, Red Sox, Blazers, Chargers, Flyers, Timbers, Tottenham FC.

Goal for VINTAGE ONLY CARDS (condition NOT very important...just no rips/tears, no writing on the front...some creases ok): Hank Aaron (preferably in a Milwaukie uniform, but not required), Mickey Mantle pre-1969 (earlier the better), Babe Ruth any vintage year, Joe DiMaggio any year, Lou Gehrig any year, Ted Williams pre-1955, Jackie Robinson any year, Shoeless Joe any year, and Stan Musial pre-1960.  For basketball, would like a Kareem while in Milwaukie, early Doctor J, Oscar, early Magic/Bird, Bill Russell, Jerry West, Wilt, Maravich, David Thompson, Gervin, Cousy, Mikan, Moses & maybe a couple others.  Prefer to stay as cheap as possible, but for the right card might go a little higher...obviously Mantle/Ruth/Joe D and those types would be more.  Again, condition I know won't be great at these prices.  I now have a Hank, Mantle, Clemente, Bob Gibson, Ernie Banks, Sandy Koufax and a Willie Mays at these levels, and a couple of Ted Williams, that I'm very happy with.

  • I will typcially send cards via PWE unless the quantity is above 20 and then I will send BMWT.  If you wish a smaller trade to be sent BMWT, please adjust the trade accordingly.

TCDB rankings as of 11/6/22:

  • Klesko (1st)
  • Dale Murphy (10th)
  • Winfield (6th)
  • Conforto (1st)
  • Madrigal (1st)
  • Rutschman (1st)
  • Kenyon Yovan (1st)
  • Larnach (1st)
  • Grenier (1st)
  • Drew Rasmussen (1st)
  • Kevin Abel (1st)
  • Steven Kwan (27th)
  • Darwin Barney (7th)
  • Dominique Wilkins (3rd)
  • Steven Jackson (76th)
  • Gary Payton II (1st)
  • Jacquizz Rodgers (5th)
  • Hamilcar Rashed Jr (1st)
  • Jake Luton (1st)
  • Jermar Jefferson (1st)

VERY willing to trade/negotiate.  I live to trade...send me ALL trade requests!  Would prefer trades to purchases, although I know my PC is pretty limited in the grand scheme of things.  Just got back to the hobby in 2020 after approx 30 years out of it, and about 20 years after selling off 99% of it to pay for our wedding.  I forgot how much I loved it!

Update 1/7/23 new year card goals: 1) complete a transaction with macca3232, 2) add some scans to the site.

1/22/23: I have a couple transactions in progress but I am struggling to get them shipped out. I appreciate your patience. The cards are sitting on my desk but life priorities are not favoring the cards.

I am attempting to 1) collect two of every basketball card with a referee's face visible (one base, one parallel) and eventually 2) identify each referee.

I love PWE trades.

*Warning* I am a slow processor and transactions may take me a long time, mostly because I do most of my card work over the weekend.

Happy collecting :)

I am open to collecting anything that is on my Wantlist.  I will trade for 1 card or for 200 cards if it's what we both need.  This is a hobby for me so I'm just here to have fun.  Make an offer and let's complete some sets!  I will trade Worldwide so don't hesitate to make an offer.

Baseball, Hockey and Football

trading is finally turned back on as of 9/24. 15 trades completed since my return with more on the way.  Keep 'em coming!!

I use this site strictly for tradingIf I do want to buy something off of you, I will approach you.

  • Set collecting is my current focus.   I have lots of want lists, feel free to take a look
  • Will be adding want lists for 68 TFB, and the 70's TFB here shortly
  • I have no problem trading across sports (baseball for football, football for hockey, etc.)
  • I do have several player collections as well.
  • Side collections:  Cards serial #'d/99 that are purchased for less than $2.50

If I have something on my trade list you want and you can't find something on my want list?  Serial #'d cards are always welcome.

Trading: A minimum of 12 cards going each way unless there is a true gem / vintage in the trade. PWE acceptable but prefer large trades of 250+ cards in each direction. Please confirm that you actually have the cards before Accepting a trade; I always do the same at this end. Vintage for vintage; HoF/stars for same; inserts / parallels for same, all as much as possible. Priority are vintage, OPC and sets on my UserLists. Having tried to offer cards from these lists will increase the chances of my Accepting a trade; totally disregarding these and offering me 12+ commons from a set that I am so far from completing that they do not make the list is more prone to being Declined, especially if I see you have cards for trade that are on my lists.

Stats: As of 31 December 2022:

Wants OPC Baseball: base sets 1965-1994 + 1981 Grey Backs and 1990 white stock test issue parallel - 344/13,896 cards (2.48%).

Wants Topps Baseball: base sets 1951-2022 + 1952 Black backs, 1954 Canadian, 1975 mini parallel, 1993 & 1994 Gold parallel - 3,139/48,529 (6.47%). Breakdown by decade: 1951-60 - 1,191/3,816 (31.21%); 1961-70 - 1,041/6,135 (16.97%); 1971-80 - 408/7,721 (5.28%); 1981-90 - Complete; 1991-2000 - 70/7,856 (0.89%); 2001-10 - 148/6,986 (2.12%); 2011-20 - 3/6,841 (0.04%); 2021-22 - 278/1,320 (21.06%).

Trading/PIF/Purchases on TCDb:

2022 - 231 + 7 still In-Progress; Cards Sent - 13,922 / Cards Received - 13,530

Total since being a member: Cards Sent - 72,236 / Cards Received - 63,682 (# of trades really doesn't matter to me as it can be misleading to the quantity of cards have come and gone).

Sets completed through Trades/PIF/Purchases in 2022 - 85 sets including 38 base sets.

2023 Goals:

1. Re-organize my Oddball / Food Issue Baseball sets.

2. Reduce OPC base set needs to less than 300.

3. Reduce Topps base set needs to less than 2,700 (including the 2023 base set issue). By decade, 1950s to less than 1,000; 1960s to less than 900; 1970s to less than 300.

4. Trade over 10,000 cards going each way.

5. Complete 75 base / insert / parallel / oddball sets.

First off I have to get this out there...  I am willing to trade, but life does get in the way sometimes and that does interfere with my fun, and stress relief of collecting. Please understand this, so if I don't respond right away, it doesn't mean I haven't seen your proposal.  I have a few that are not understanding this so if I feel that it continues I will turn off my Trade/Sale List.

Please keep trades a max of 12 cards or less and I do PWE.

Plus, I like to check to make sure I have the cards you are looking for before accepting trades.  Yes the site states I have it but I like to double check as I am finding errors in my list.

Anyhow, hope to here from ya!

(At this time I do not have card #35 - Bobby Orr - RC. If you are an individual or a store and have it for sale or willing to trade please PM me and we can try and make a deal.)

  • If you see something you need or want give me a shout.  I always look at a trade to make things work, even if I don't have it on my want list, which keeps changing!
  • At the same time I am willing to help out fellow collectors to complete their collections and look for cards they can't find!  So if I don't have it, I will try and find it for you.
  • For collectors that don't like trading and would rather buy, all cards on my Trade List are For Sale. Message me what you are looking at and we can go from there.

Moving towards a Vintage collection.  Pre-1990.  Hockey, Baseball, Football, and to a lesser extent, basketball.  Untouchables aren't listed, so everything's negotiable.

I'm all about the O-Pee-Chee (All Sports and Non Sports) + some Soccer and the occasional oddballs that catch my eye.

Love trading and will always try to find something to make it work. My trade lists goes up and down as I buy lots from garage sales/auctions/kijiji etc and then try to trade the pieces for more O-Pee-Chee goodness.

Please don't bother asking for things not on my trade list. If they're in my collection then they are in my collection for a reason.

My goals: I'm trying to complete a few sets from the 1980s and early 1990s. Please have a look at my goals list for details.

Your goals: If you need any cards from my trade lists, feel free to send a trade proposal. Even if you don't have anything on my want lists to send in return, let me know anyway. I'm always willing to try and figure something out, and I'm trying to get my trade lists down to zero cards.

About me: I blog about trading cards and also create and sell custom cards and other sports-related items. If that piques your interest, please have a look at the following sites:

I collect Michael Jordan cards from the 1980's to present, oddball cards to commons and checklists. I'm just getting started on my collection. I have some mixed football cards from the 1970's and 1980's however, they are not in mint condition but they are not trash either. Feel free to look through my Football collection and if you see it and need it hit me up and we'll talk.

I may be starting a Barry Sanders collection very soon, he's my favorite football player ever next to the G.O.A.T.

Only really collect sets. No single player collections or themes. Finishing off my sets from the 80s & 90s, when I last collected, but also taking the plunge into some recent stuff.
Definitely a set collector, although that is increasingly difficult (and expensive) with the modern sets. There are an impressive number of subsets and insert sets out there.

Currently collecting:

Baseball:  1993 Topps Gold (marathon, not a sprint), 1994 UD Electric Diamond, 1995 UD & Special Edition

2017/2021/2022 Topps and Update Series and some inserts sets.

Basketball:  1993-94 UD, All-NBA inserts, Locker Talk, Future Heroes & 1997-98 Upper Deck.

Football:   1992 UD Marino Heroes & few Holos, 1993 UD, trying to figure out what modern sets to collect.

Hockey:  1991-92 Score Bilingual, 1996-97 UD Superstar Showdown, 2021-22 UD and couple of insert sets.

I mostly trade but also buy and sell. The central challenge is to get the right cards to the right people. If cards don't arrive, I do my best to make it right. PWE preferred, multiple if necessary.

412 completed trades and counting...

I have been donating or selling most of my collection. I have not had time to update the database currently. If there is something of interest and I still have it I will trade for it or maybe even just send it out. I don't check in often but do check in so feel free to send a request for a trade.

Priority of my want lists:
1 - Any and all Phillies cards (almost anything not in my collection is a "want")
2 - Various set ventures (baseball - 1972 Topps, 2014 Topps 1989 die-cut minis, Archives, Heritage sets, then hockey sets)
3 - Baseball HOFers (1980s)
4 - Baseball HOFers (1970s)
5 - Baseball HOFers (1990s)
6 - Baseball HOFers (other decades)

If there are any other categories of want lists, they would fall between set completion and HOFers.

I have 60,000 - 80,000 cards available for trade that have not listed yet. If you have something on my want list, please drop me a note and we'll see if I have anything you're looking for.

Note: I have currently stopped accepting transaction requests. This does not mean I am not open to trades. My collections are still not complete on here and I have 60,000 - 80,000 cards to add to my FS/FT list. As previously mentioned, drop me a note if you have a bunch of items on my wantlist and would like to see if we could work something out. Please make it so that the postage to/from your location to mine makes a trade worthwhile for both of us. Thank you.
