I am going to polite-fully borrow a very fitting quote from fellow trader FSCGrad777  - "my want list is quite narrow, so I am more than willing to sell cards if we don't match up for a trade." additionally, I am (SOMETTIMES) willing to dig through your (basketball, football, and non sport ONLY) FST cards to see if I can come up with something I like to trade for.

3/13/24 - I 'think' I am going to embark on working on ALL non numbered variations of the 22 and 23 NBA Prizm Monopoly sets, it is WAY more involved than I anticipated it would be with the original thought, but easily my favorite sport and board game growing ups, so why not...

3/12/24 - my son and my Pacers/Magic game experience was a GREAT success, not so much autographically (?), although HE was able to pull down 8 different players' autos (pics to be posted in the forum, hopefully), but the luxury seats were 1st class...access ALL around the court, through each team's tunnels before/during/after games, and all you can eat food/drink...we strongly recommended this experience to anyone willing to fork out a few 'extra' bucks who wants a close to the game action!

On that note, I am going to begin PCing former Arizona and now Pacers PG TJ McConnell, he is the epitome of hard work, a scrappy player who honestly just doesn't look like he belongs on the court with these other giants, but is a BEAST (he had 16/7/7 that game we went to), and oozes confidence, but in a professional way....he was extremely kind to my son after the Pacer win, so that goes a long way to me

2/4/24 - This may be common sense, but I have begun paying more attention on the scarcity/availability of cards on my FST list when comparing each side of the deal - many times, if I have THE only card on the site, I will use that as 'value' in consideration to what I am seeking in these trades - it may not be the most valuable card, but if its the only one available for trade and (for example 50+ people have it on their wantlist, to ME - it holds more value...and again, I am probably not breaking any new ground with this statement, I just wanted this to be here for when members read my profile on reasoning behind these proposals and counter offers

1/23/24 - My 13 year old son and I are fortunate enough to have 2nd row seats for the Pacers @ Magic game on 3/10, and we will have access to the player tunnel before and after the game, SO, my goal until then is to obtain as many RCs of players from those 2 teams to attempt to get autographed!

-Chris Herren (maybe the most confident caucasian hooper I have ever seen in person, his BABC AAU summer league performances here in Jax in 1994 were E P I C...)

I collect all sports and have an ultimate goal of completing the 1952 - current Topps Baseball Base Set run. I have 1965, and 1968 - 2023 already done. Looking to trade for the remaining cards that I need but also open to buying depending on asking price. I am not condition sensitive at all and accept cards with wrinkles, creases, writing, etc... My available vintage cards would mainly be considered lower grade, but condition varies while more modern cards are mostly all in a near mint condition. I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

I've been very blessed in my trades and transactions here on TCDB. Thank you to all. I will trade vintage for modern and vice versa as long as there is roughly equal value felt on both sides. I am a set builder and collecter. I do not speculate on my cards for future value. I do this for fun, not for profit. I will sell, but only to build a small bank of money to use for buying cards I can't trade for. I've traded hundreds of cards each way and I've done many 1 for 1 trades, so no trade is too big or small for me.

In packaging, I use painter's tape ONLY. I try to use a photo mailer for small trades of about a dozen or less.  I use #10 PWE for trades up to about 2 dozen cards and maybe 2 PWE for 4 dozen.  After 50 cards, I typically will use a bubble mailer with tracking.  If it is 200 or more cards, they will likely be in a box well padded.

My glory years of basball card collecting started in 1975 when I was 9 and ended when I went to high school - 75-80 Topps is my thing.   I have completed all six sets since joining - 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, and 80.

I am a life-long Cardinal fan so now focused on building Cardinal team sets.  Only missing a few from '53 to '93.   Starting work on the more modern stuff now.    Have a few '52s also but saving that set for last.  

I have mostly 60s and 70s to trade.   Will do vintage for modern in the right ratios.

i loved collecting cards when I was younger. I got back into the hobby during covid. I'm currently wanting to build the 2021 Topps herritage set!

I'm a Topps collector. I have all sets from 1970 to 2000, and a few sets in the 2000s. I'm also nearly done with 1969. I’m concentrating on 1961 and 1968 baseball currently

Since joining TCDB, I have completed the master set of 1986,1987,1988 and the 1992 Topps ,92 Stadium Club (1800cards) sets as well as the 1983 Fleer!  Only 40 years later...LOL

My Favorite BB team is the Mets and have been since 1976 many tough years and hopefully, this season will be good!!

Any size trade will be considered!

I don't pull cards until a transaction is suggested, but rarely can I not find all the cards to trade

I will purchase if need be but really enjoy trading, will do any combo of cards and cash as well

UPDATE 11/4/23:  Back into trading to help others finish sets and fill their PC and completing my Topps '60, '65, & '73 sets along with vintage Cardinals.  Vacation from trading over summer '23 and then dealing with family tragedy.

TRADERS: I am collecting VG/EX or better, and definitely no creases or writing.  PLEASE let me know if the cards you are providing as part of a trade are not VG/EX or better, and send me pictures if you have any questions.  I will provide same for you. 

NOTE re my '71 Topps For Trade:  The following cards have pencil marks on the front and should be considered in Poor (PR) condition due to those marks : #9/G. Scott, 33/D. Unser, 40/L. May, 114/B. Conigliaro, 211/P. Hennigan, 219/Hendricks, 252/Leon, 720/M. Alou  The writing is neat (must have been a precursor to my engineering career), not dark, and was done by me as a boy.  For example, the George Scott card has "Brewers" which was me writing his current team on the card.  I am willing to trade these (which if not for the marks would be at least VG/EX) and send pictures of front and back if needed.

• For trades, when selecting cards from my want list, I prefer base set cards over parallels or inserts in order to complete team sets.   
• Open to any trade offer, just looking for equal value on both sides and cards from my Want list.

Hey guys! After years of being on Instagram (@Triple_Crown_Cards) I've decided to give TCDB a go. Looking forward to making some trades. Oct. 2023

My teams are the Detroit Tigers, Lions, and Pistons. I am a fan of the Topps Flagship set and working on completing the team runs for all 3 teams.

Thanks for reading my profile. I enjoy trading cards I don't need for those that I do. I've been in this hobby for many years (I remember opening 1955 Bowman packs at our local candy store)! I usually don't pull my end before making a proposal; most times, I'm trying to get a feel for how doable it is, and it saves me from having to refile cards if things fizzle out or if I'm countered.  I will, however, (usually) pull before accepting a trade.  Please counter, if need be!  Communication is key to good trading!   I have some physical limitations..it may take me a bit to pull cards so your patience is appreciated!  

1.  My top priority is completing sets.  

2.  Recent Phillies teamsets and inserts.  I do multiple teamsets to help local Philthies Phans!

3. Older Phillies teamset needs..all brands.

As mentioned, I love to trade, will reluctantly sell ... cheap, if we cannot swap!  PLMK what I have that you can't live without!  Phillies is my team, through thick and (mostly) thin!  PWE trades are great and assumed unless we agree otherwise - bubbles used if worth the shipping costs!  Slowing down though - the old body won't let me hoss those 5000 count boxes too much - thanks in advance for your patience with me!!

Born and raised in Cleveland and have been a huge baseball fan ever since I remember.  I credit my grandfather with my love of the game and love of the team.  My first memories are of the playoff teams of the 90's and I've been collecting ever since.  My goal in collecting is to collect as many different players as possible who wore the uniform.  This started out as collecting all flagship sets over the years, but has expanded to many less known sets as well.  Eventually I may even look to include inserts, parallels, etc.

I have also recent begun collecting complete Topps sets due to a large lot I purchased.  So far its been 1980-Present and this is more of a passive collection, my primary is and will always be my main PC which is the Cleveland Guardians.  

I will consider all trades, big or small, to USA and Canada.  As a rule of thumb I would prefer to trade base for base.  I do have some inserts and short prints.  I will consider trading inserts for base cards on a case by case basis. For the short prints I am hoping to trade for other short prints on my want list.  As far as condition is concerned I am looking for NRMT for 1980-Present, 1970s EX-NRMT, anything prior to 1960 I will consider almost any condition (although I would ask for pictures prior to accepting). 

Priority of my collections are as follows

1. My Cleveland Indians/Guardians collection, trade requests involving any of these cards is most likely to get my attention.

2. My Topps Base sets, I am diligently working on completing my 1980s Topps sets as well as my 2024 set as well.  I am also starting on my 1990s and finishing up my 2011 sets. sub priority within this group is finishing my 80s and 2024 sets. 

3. My sons 1992-93 Upper Deck basketball.  He has most of the low series, but he still have most of the high series left to get.

4. Any other sets on my wantlist, such as my 1991 Fleer are a distant priority.  Trades involving only these cards and requesting higher end cards like inserts are more likely to be declined.
