May 10, 1979 - Too many men on the ice - NO!!!!!!

This card is a team photo of Grapes' last team in '78-'79 ... ugh, seeing them on TV lose Game 7 to Montreal in the semi-finals ... and the WAY it happened, just painful.

Of course, there was no guarantee that the Bruins would have beaten the Rangers in the finals. The team that should really be kicking themselves is the Islanders. They should have never lost to the Rangers ... meanwhile, the Habs were starting to look a little bit mortal that season. The Islanders beat MTL three out of four during the regular season and I think they were good enough to dethrone them. BTW, the Isles were 2-1-2 against the Bruins during the regular season.
