I'm kinda flabergasted by the Halladay one. Nothing about Doc suggests that he'd ask for Steve Carlton's RETIRED number, nor would he have been in a position where the Phillies would bestow, with Lefty's blessing of course, #32 on him. So Topps just goes ahead and prints a Photoshopped card seemingly having Halladay, who would have his own Phillie uni number, #34, retired of course, wearing a number that he could never actually wear in Philly! | ||

This is a fantastic list. Thank you for putting this together and for all those who have contributed. I find this one extremely fascinating. More fascinating than the same photo, different uniform/team lists that are already out there. I'll have to keep an eye on out for these and remember this list. Good work! | ||
