2021 Trades

by Billy Kingsley - 13 cards (Last updated on Jun 21, 2022)

1. 2020-21 Upper Deck Tim Hortons - Franchise Trios #T-19 Matt Duchene / Roman Josi / Pekka Rinne

January 6th

with a friend from my model building circles, Jeff

6 cards

Yearly total 6

This was a trade that didn't pan out as I had hoped it would. My friend Jeff and I agreed to trade 25 packs of Tim Horton's cards for a plastic model. Because Jeff lives in Canada, it ended up costing us each around $50...and I got 6 new cards out of the deal. That's not Jeff's fault- in the interim, a different friend had sent me an entire 100 pack case of the cards, and a different friend had sent me three packs. After 128 packs of the set, I'm still 4 cards short and it's only a 125 card set...yet I have 7 or more of some of the base cards. From Jeff's 25 packs alone I got 3 Zach Werenskis! To add to it, Jeff mailed it on December 5th and I didn't get it until January 6th.

2. 1984-85 Topps #64 Marcel Dionne

January 14th

Mark Del Franco on Twitter

40 cards

yearly total 46

Only my second all-Twitter trade, this one netted me a large portion of 1984-85 Topps, a set with a great design.

3. 2017 Panini Absolute - Tools of the Trade Trios Signatures Spectrum Blue #TTTS-RN Ryan Newman

January 25th

artman556

13 cards

Yearly total 59

This is one of the nicest and rarest cards I've ever been offered in trade! It features a piece of tire, firesuit and sheet metal, which is two colors.

4. 1978-79 Topps #202 New York Rangers Team

January 29th

PackBlaster on Twitter

108 cards

Yearly total 167

A great trade that spun out of the previous Twitter trade I had done with Mark Del Franco, a mixture of 70s and 80s hockey and NASCAR. The 70s cards are in exceptional shape!

5. 2008 Press Pass Eclipse - Escape Velocity #EV 12 Dale Jarrett

10. 1910-11 Flags of All Nations (T59) #NNO Hurricane Warning

Matt Keppel

1 card

The oldest trade I've ever done. This was the newest card involved, I sent him one from the 1890s.
