Televised gimmick to be awarded to winner of matches against opponent
1993-2002
Multiple day televised tournament, culminating with at least the finals at the PPV titled King of The Ring.
The King gimmick/title usually lasted through next big angle, story line or upgrade in card position of the KOR holder, and only acknowledged again when the situation warranted (i.e. 2000's winner Kurt Angle entering the tournament in 2001)
