14. 1993-94 Upper Deck NHLPA/Roots #8 Larry Murphy
Well, it has certainly been an interesting week. From a botched purchase to listing the 50,000th card in my collection... I am halfway to 100k! This one is odd though. I'm pretty sure I have more of this set and I'm also sure the scans were completed... Whatever the case, I may need to edit this later.

15. 2012 Magic the Gathering Return to Ravnica #32 Chronic Flooding
Seeing as I collect everything and anything under the sun, this card making it to be the 10,000th Gaming card in my collection is not a surprise. I was a little concerned that this would end up being one of the token subsets, and honestly, those sets are not even close to accurate enough for my taste. But I am 100% positive that if I start editing and filling gaps... yet again, I shall become an irritant upon the site! The backs of the Token subsets can have over 10 variations of advertisement... and I've got a feeling I am likely one of few who care to collect ALL of them. |
16. 1999-00 Pacific Dynagon Ice #75 Nicklas Lidstrom
Only took me a few years. This card symbolizes 60,000 cards in my collection. All unique, including errors and such. Gonna be updating a whole bunch more here as I just grabbed thousands from a guy.

I remember that Gretzky card, as well as that whole set back in the day. Over production was the writing on the wall, making cards worthless. There will always be demand for certain cards, but over production killed any chance of monetary worth. People still sell full unopened cases of boxes from that time.

I still have the set complete minus some errors... as for the boxes, I am thinking of picking up a few in the hopes of finding #246 bloody nose error. it went from about a dollar on ebay to 400 almost over night.
