A sheerly accidental meeting. While walking around Hemmings Motor News 11th Annual Concours d'Elegance with my brother-in-law, I spotted a familiar-looking green cap. The same one I'd seen many times on a certain member's profile picture. I yelled out, "Billy?! Billy Kingsley?!" Meeting another member was a first for the both of us.

While making plans to vacation in the Niagra Falls area, ranfordfan put out the call for meet-ups. I was the only one brave enough (or crazy enough) to risk it. We met for breakfast at the Swan Street Diner in Buffalo. Then we shopped at the Dave & Adams Superstore. We finished our meet-up with a lunch of authentic Buffalo wings at Duff's.

Knowing I'd be in kents_stuff's area for Thanksgiving I asked if he'd like to meet. He was agreeable and suggested putting together a trade. I pulled everything I had on his Wantlist and brought them with me to Michigan; Kent did the same. We met for lunch at Primanti Brothers in Novi. Boxes of cards in hand, we conducted an old-fashioned trade.

mtc advertised a set of 1993 McDonald's glasses in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. I told him I was interested in one. Seeing he lived not far from me I told him I could pick it up. sandyrusty also responded to the forum and said he would be in mtc's area in July and could pick them up in-person. After a bit of coordinating we all met for breakfast at the Highland Park Diner.

Bruno & I also set up a large trade to save on postage. Also, to save on postage and PayPal fees, I handed off a package bound for the Saskatchewan prairie.

I made a buy from onyxdragon9. I was visiting family in his area, so we decided to meet for a local pickup. He invited me to a Model Railroad show where we met and he gave me the cards I bought and a lot of extras. I didn't get a photo...doh!!
