May 2018 Non-sport Pick-ups

This marks my fifth month of non-sport collecting. I've added '56 Sgt. Preston of the Yukon and all of the original Topps Star Wars sets to my collecting goals. I'm still trying to find my non-sport focus. There are a lot of cool non-sports sets out there.

I wasn't very impressed with this set until I did a little research. The cards are die-cut and half the card folds down and serve as a stand. This has caused some creasing on several of the cards I purchased.

This set is extremely rare and is very collectible because of the circus theme. I couldn't find many examples of completed auctions so I'm not totally confident in their value.

My favorite has to be the trip to the butcher shop from the Sgt. Preston set. It's comical at first, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized this was probably a scary situation for a lot of people that I never even thought about.
