1. 1997 Press Pass #45 Chase Elliott / Bill Elliott's Car
Chase Elliott, at the time of this card's production, was 1 year old. In 2014, he became the youngest champion of one of NASCAR's three main series, proving Press Pass correct. |
2. 1993-94 Topps #205 Hakeem Olajuwon
Hakeem Olajuwon didn't have to wait nearly as long to prove Topps correct. He led the Houston Rockets to their first NBA Championship the very same year, and won the Finals MVP award. (Topps didn't quite get the name of the award right). He achieved the same feat in the 1994-95 season, currently the only two titles the Rockets have won. |

It doesn't exactly fit the theme here, but a Panini "Team Pinnacle" insert from 2011-12 featured P.K. Subban on the front and Shea Webber on the back. Four years later they were traded straight up for each other (which, as a Habs fan, still makes me very sad). |
