21. 1990 Topps #198 Nate Odomes


Starting Cornerback: Odomes was known as one of the hardest hitting DBs during his playing days. He played with the Bills, Seahawks and Falcons from 1987-1996. He was part of the Bills teams that made 4 consecutive Super Bowls in the early 1990's. During that span, Odomes also made two Pro Bowls in 1992 and 1993. He also led the NFL in INTs during the 1993 season recording 9 picks.

Backups: Richard Johnson and Jamar Fletcher


22. 1967 Philadelphia #102 Dale Hackbart


Starting Safety: Hackbart was known as a ball hawk back in the day. He played from 1960 through 1973 with the Packers, Redskins, Vikings, Cardinals and Broncos. He intercepted 19 passes in his NFL career returning 4 of them for touchdowns.

23. 2005 Leaf Rookies & Stars #121 Jim Leonhard


Starting Safety: Leonhard had a long solid 10-year NFL career between the Bills, Ravens, Jets, Broncos and Browns. He has done a little bit of everything in the NFL as he picked off 14 passes in his career, spent time as a starting safety, been a star performer on special teams and even returned kicks and punts. He is currently the Badgers defensive coordinator in 2017.

24. 2015 Panini Wisconsin Badgers #14 Brad Nortman


Starting Punter: Nortman was drafted in the 6th round by the Panthers in 2012. He was 4th in the NFL in 2013 with average yards per punt with a 47.8 avg. He had the NFL's longest punt in 2016 with a 78 yarder. He is the current punter for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2017.

Backup: Jim Fraser (was a Punter/Linebacker)

I would say Melvin Gordon quickly making a play for the starting running back spot. Solid list, On, Wisconsin!

Elroy Hirsch should be on the list. Great list though.

The reason Hirch is not on the list is because he played only his first two years with Wisconsin before transferring to Michigan. I stuck with players that finished their college careers with the Badgers before moving onto the NFL. Crazy Legs was amazing!
