1. 1958 Topps #2 Bob Lemon
Card says he's won 200 games in seven different seasons, should be 20 games. ERA in 1957 of 4.62, should be 4.60. |
2. 1958 Topps #3 Alex Kellner
1957 ERA of 4.26, should be 4.27. Fine 3.75 ERA in 1950, should be 1949. ERA of 3.92 1953, should be 3.93. Won 20 games in 1950, should be 1949. |
4. 1958 Topps #10 Lew Burdette
Lou is spelled LOU on the front, it's spelled LEW on the back. ERA of 3.71 in 1957, should be 3.72. |
6. 1958 Topps #12 George Crowe
Date of birth 1923, should be 1921. Joined the Braves in 1955, he joined the Braves in 1952 and 1953. |
7. 1958 Topps #15 Jim Lemon
As a rookie he poled 27 home runs. He exceeded the rookie limit two years before that. |
9. 1958 Topps #18 Frank Sullivan
All four seasons with the Sox have been winning seasons, been with the team for five years. |

I apologize to the person who said great list a little while ago. I didn't mean to delete your message. Just the opposite. What you said is true. Every wrong birthdate was younger on the card than they actually were. Thank you for enjoying my list. I'll be adding to it tomorrow. | ||
#18 Frank Sullivan; Four seasons is correct. He spent most of 1953 in the minors. By MLB rules 1953 didn't count as a season with Boston because he didn't pitched at least 50 innings. | ||
I think the card should say in his four complete seasons. He was 1-1 in 1953. If he was 1-0 they probably would have said he'd had 5 winning seasons. I do see your point also. Thank you for your input and reading my list.
