1987 Topps was the first set I collected, and I was a little league catcher, so naturally, Gary Carter was one of my non-Cubbie favorites! I've always loved the 1987 Topps Carter card!

Ike gets in the PC because the Mets are a second-tier favorite team, and I used to play 1st base in high school. I thought he could have been the next Keith Hernandez. Oops.

Again, the Mets are one of my second-tier favorite teams, and I was really impressed with his rookie season, but I did enjoy seeing the Royals win the 2015 World Series over the Mets!

This guy was my very first TTM success, and I sent it to him because I thought he was going to be the second coming of Mark McGwire.

Not a Bash Brother, but he was a very good catcher on the AL side when I was a kid. He was also a part of the A's teams that went to the World Series.
