NPN Winsby Billy Kingsley - 11 cards (Last updated on Mar 19, 2016) |
1. 2012-13 Panini Prestige #199 Jimmy Butler
My first NPN win! My first NPN entry as well! I don't consider rookie cards that are part of the base set to be NPN elligible (IE, inserts), but I am not going to complain about getting it, either! Especially as my primary focus is base cards- it is my favorite aspect of the hobby and I view inserts (including relics and autographs) as an nice added bonus, not the driving factor in collecting like most people.

2. 2012-13 Panini Threads #181 Trey Thompkins
Another rookie, this time autographed, arrived to me as an NPN win on 2/5/13, which brightened up a not too pleasent day- it's the anniversary of my father's death from cancer.

3. 2012-13 Panini Absolute #109 Nate Thurmond
My 4th NPN attempt, and my third win! Again, it's a base card and not an actual insert, but I don't mind that at all as the base sets are what I like the best anyway! This one is from the Retired Players subset from Absolute Basketball, and carries serial number 272/499. Like all the cards in this set, it looks better in person than as a scan. |
4. 2012-13 Panini Elite - Elite Series #28 Rajon Rondo
This Elite Series insert from Elite arrived to me either the day before, or the day after, my first redemption from Panini- although it was only in May, I no longer remember the exact order! |
5. 2012-13 Panini - Spirit of the Game #12 JaVale McGee
2012-13 Panini was the first box of Basketball cards I had opened since September 2006! I did it in March 2013. |
6. 2013-14 Hoops - Board Members #24 Larry Sanders
A new season brings new NPNs, and the first 2013-14 set has given me my first NPN of the year. It arrived on January 30th. This is an insert set I hadn't had any of either, before it arrived! |
7. 2015-16 Hoops - Team Leaders #24 Anthony Davis
Been a while since I won an NPN. 2015-16 Hoops is a favorite set of mine, so I was happy to win one of the inserts from the set- even if it did arrive with a banged up bottom left corner. |

Cool idea for a user list! I have sent in a few of those NPN offers, have yet to get anything back. I have a few of the "send in a wrapper and $$, get a cool card back" offers from when I was collecting Grant Hill rookies back in the day. Those cards were worth the money, if only to round out my collection..

Thanks! (I just saw your comment now!) I've been pretty lucky so far- I've sent in 4, and three have come back winners! I am still trying to figure out why I never sent any in in the past...I also have an instant win Michael Jordan card from 1997-98 Collector's Choice that I scratched off when new and never sent in...I do some strange, stupid stuff sometimes I guess.

Nice job on the Thurmond! He's always been one of my favorite big men from back in the day. Check YouTube for footage of him, if you aren't familiar with his work.. Dude was a beast!
