1. 1988 CMC Indianapolis Indians #1 Randy Johnson


Nicknamed "The Big Unit", Randy Johnson played for the Indianapolis Indians during the 1988 & 1989 seasons. During the 1988 campaign with The Tribe, Randy recorded an 8-7 record over 20 appearances, 19 as a starter, with a 3.26 ERA while issuing an impressive 111 strikeouts.

During that key developmental season Randy threw his first complete game as a professional pitcher on September, 9 during Game 3 of the Triple-A Classic, striking out eight and leading the Tribe to a 10-2 victory over the Rochester Red Wings in the first of three win or go home games. His masterpiece allowed the Indians to rally and claim the 1988 Triple-A championship.

His 1988 Tribe highlight real also includes a 13-strikeout effort on May 19 vs. Syracuse (seven innings) and seven no-hit frames as part of a combined no-hitter on Aug. 6 at Nashville.

Randy went on to have a legendary career in the Majors and was inducted into Baseball's Hall of Fame in 2014 on the first ballet with 5 Cy Young Awards, 10 All-Star selections, 4 ERA titles and 9 strikeout crowns.


2. 1989 CMC Indianapolis Indians #23 Larry Walker


Larry Walker played for the Indianapolis Indians during the 1989 season as a part of the Montreal Expos organization. During that campaign he recorded a team leading 36 stolen bases, as well as hitting .270 with 12 home runs before he was promoted to the major leagues in mid-August.

Larry had an impressive major league career that saw him receive 5 All-Star selections, 7 Golden Gloves, 3 Silver Sluggers, 3 NL Batting Championships and the NL MVP honors in 1997. He played in 17 seasons, finishing with a .313 Batting Average and a 72.7 career WAR on his way to a plague in the National Baseball Hall of Fame on his 10th ballot in 2020. He is also the first player elected to the Hall of Fame from the Colorado Rockies franchise.


3. 2009 Choice Indianapolis Indians #04 Andrew McCutchen


Nicknamed "Cutch", Andrew McCutchen played for the Indianapolis Indians during the 2007, 2008 & 2009 seasons. During the 2008 full season with Indianapolis McCutchen lead the team in Hits with 145, Doubles with 26, RBIs with 50 and Stone Bases with 34. He also posted an impressive slash of .283/.372/.398 during the 2008 campaign and was selected as an International League AAA All-Star. His 2009 slash with the Tribe was even more impressive at .304/.361/.493 before being promoted to the Pittsburgh Pirates in June of 2009.

Andrew's long career in the Majors is highlighted with 5 NL All-Star appearances, 4 Silver Sluggers, 1 Golden Glove, a 2012 Home Run Derby appearance, Roberto Clemente Award in 2015, Baseball America's Rookie of the Year in 2009, Cover Athlete for MLB The Show Video Game in 2013 and the NL MVP award in 2013. He also has an active career WAR of 45.5.


4. 2006 Choice Indianapolis Indians #9 Jose Bautista


Nicknamed "Joey Bats", Jose Bautista played for the Indianapolis Indians during the 2005, 2006 & 2008 seasons.
