Debut cards for all 1987 first-time major leaguers

Each player's card is from 1987 or the next possible year, except that multi-player cards, game cards and a few other types are skipped over and used only absent other options. Minor league cards are used as a last resort. I own each card pictured. The highly uninteresting rules are in my profile page, linked above.

Neat list! I guess in modern times, Bowman prevents this situation where players somehow didn't get cards for 2-3 years after their Major League cup of coffee back then.

You would think that these days, everyone would have a card right away, but unfortunately, it's not even close. From about 1999 to 2007, virtually every player had a card within a year or so, but these days, with the rise of middle relievers, the reduction in card company competition and the emphasis on creating literally thousands of cards per year for some of the top stars, a lot of players never get major league cards at all.

I like odd collecting interests like this. You could make a pretty good lineup of guys on this list.
