1991-92 O-Pee-Chee #316 Ken Baumgartner Front

55. 1991-92 O-Pee-Chee #316 Ken Baumgartner

A lot of Leafs took part in local card shows in Mississauga and Oakville that I frequented. The two that stand out are the shows that were held on a recurring basis at Hopedale Mall in Oakville (now called South Oakville Mall) and Meadowvale Town Center in Mississauga (before it got turned into an outdoor plaza). There were always a Leaf or two doing complimentary autographs.

1994 Parkhurst Missing Link 1956-57 #123 Bob Baun Front

58. 1994 Parkhurst Missing Link 1956-57 #123 Bob Baun

I traded a signed card I had for this signed card from a guy I know who himself gets cards signed from card shows, reaching out to retired players and sending cards to get signed, or from other means.

1990-91 O-Pee-Chee #223 Stephane Beauregard Front

59. 1990-91 O-Pee-Chee #223 Stephane Beauregard

Beauregard was actually one of my favourite goalies when I got into hockey because at the time he was only one of a few right catching goalies like me. He currently works at BMO and I mailed cards to his office to sign and he did so.
