1. 1955 Topps #182 Humberto Robinson
1st Panamanian to play in the major leagues with a debut of 4/20/1955. He remained with the Braves until being traded to the Indians and then the Phillies in 1959 where he would finish out his career after 1961. Robinson missed out on earning a World Series ring with the Braves in 1957, having spent the year in AAA. He also missed out on the opportunity to pitch in the World Series in 1958, although he was still a member of the team. |
