With all the rain this spring in the midwest, I still haven't been to a baseball game this year. Usually i brave the cold to get a college game in, but not this year. THIS ALL CHANGES TODAY. I'm in Peoria for my first ever Chiefs game. Even though downtown is underwater and all the restaurants closed, the ballpark is fine. And without my knowing it, Carlos Martinez will be pitching on a rehab assignment!! He's one of my favorites!! Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

Mark, I still hope to hit a Redbirds game this year too.

Nice, hope it and fun. Firat game for me isn't for a few more weeks. While it's nice watching NRL and AFL down here can't wait to get back home to get to a good ole ball game

Nice park here, jmetal. My first visit. Visiting opponent Bowling Green has a guy whose 1/1 Bowman auto just got pulled in a Texas LCS last week, expected to sell for 5 or 6 figures, and he's on the bench.

In Australia right now for work. They have a league down here that lasts 10 weeks. It ended in Feb so I missed that. Would have been interting to see how they play down here. Seen some of the players, looks like beer league softball! I have the Hartford Yard Dogs (Rockies Double A) I want to hit up this year and the New Britain Bees for the Atlantic League. Also have a standing "date" with Dan to see the Hudson Valley Renegades so a little bit of everything. I really wanted to get back to Fenway this year, been way too long. But no.... my son HAS to go see Real Madrid v Athletico Madrid at the Meadowlands in July. I forgot, the trees in my apartment complex grow $$$$$.
