It's been up in the air since the Redskins changed their name. Just not too sure about all the mentioned suggestions. Can be worse, but can be better as well.

They could change to the Cleveland Buckeyes, at least I have a couple cards from that team already.

How about the Cleveland Cleves. Just like the Philadelphia Phillies.

That's what I would vote for - If I recall, Cy Young's plaque in the Hall of Fame has him with the Spiders.

Cy's plaque lists all the teams he was a part of.
Don't forget, the Spiders were a NL team; Cy joined the AL Cleveland team after their (at the time) final name change.
I'd vote for Spiders, though!

going with the Cleves could lead to a mascot with a giant meat cleaver...I can see possibilites there.
According to what I read on Baseball-Reference they used to be known as the Cleveland Blues. I think they should go to the Blue Sox. Then you'd have the Red Sox, White Sox and Blue Sox. I'm sure Topps could come up with something patriotic involving that.
As an aside, why so many Sox teams?

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.
