Expecting to see plenty of sets now that Argentina/Leo Messi are the World Cup Champions. One of the great finals.

One of is an understatement. Edge of the seat great it was and awesome to see Messi win. Best MLS Cup final ever and now probably the greatest WC Final as well.

And rumours of Messi joining Inter Miami once his PSG contract expires too.

I'm not a big soccer fan, but as a fan of sports in general that was a fantastic match!

Great match, I didn't care who won but a nice little positive for me was that I sold a bunch of Messi and Angel Di Maria cards on COMC over the last couple of days.

Aside from the political protests and sad news regarding deaths that occurred, the entire tournament was fantastic. From Iran / Wales to Croatia / Japan to Netherlands / Argentina there was non-stop drama and exciting play.
What did the tournament say about Argentina (who lost their first match and then blew 2-0 leads in three different matches)? I love that Messi finally got the hardware he'd been after, and it was great to see the all the 'stars' shine throughout.
The 2026 tournament expands to double the number of countries playing. Will this water down the field, or does the possibility of more upsets make it more exciting? Germany has been having trouble as it is of late!
