Did a little double-check of my inventory this morning, and I am at 989 (edit: see below) autographs of players who have appeared in a game for the Mets. Let's see if I can nudge over 1,000! These are all players who have somewhat readily available autographs (not stars and not deceased, and either they're recent players who you might have IP or TTM or have known official on card autos)... can any of you help? I do *NOT* need them to be in Mets uniforms.

EDIT: I had inadvertently counted the non-players I had in my collection. Turns out I'm at 931, not 989. Still - let's see if I can get *closer* to 1,000...

Very impressive!

I collect HOF'ers myself and currently have 67 of the 329 total members.  Hard to do when you like to get the autographs in person and most of them are dead.

lildog - yeah, there's definitely an interesting cost factor here. I've got a few guys - Richie Ashburn, Gil Hodges on the HOF list, plus guys like Danny Frisella who passed away in the 1970s - who I know I'm going to have to lay out some cash for.
